Baptism isn’t just symbolic.
—it’s an act of obedience.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19–20 (ESV).
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
” Baptism represents dying to your old life and rising to new life in Christ.
(Romans 6:4).

It’s not a ritual for the perfect.
—it’s a public declaration of repentance and faith in Jesus.
Scripture doesn’t limit baptism to pastors or leaders.
Philip baptized the Ethiopian eunuch immediately after he believed.
(Acts 8:36–38).
The command to “go and baptize” was given to all disciples.

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, walking in obedience to Him.
—you can baptize.
Anyone who has truly repented and believed in Jesus.
(Acts 2:38).
can be baptized.
Infant baptism isn’t biblical;
baptism always follows faith and repentance.
It’s a personal decision to follow Christ.

You don’t need a fancy church or a pastor’s robe.
—just water deep enough to submerge the person.
Here’s a simple step-by-step.

Ask the person if they’ve repented and believe Jesus Christ is Lord.

Example (01:42):
“Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who died for your sins and rose again?

Explain that baptism symbolizes being buried with Christ and raised to new life.

Say (01:56):
“I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
” (Matthew 28:19).

Gently immerse them fully in water, then raise them up.

Pray over them and thank God for their new life in Christ.
That’s it.
—simple, scriptural, powerful.

Encourage them to start reading the Bible daily,pray often,
and join fellowship with other believers.
Baptism is the beginning of their walk.
—not the end.
Remind them that the same Spirit who led Jesus into the water now lives inside them.
Baptism isn’t about perfection.

Don’t overcomplicate what Jesus made simple.
