Is Jesus Just Your Savior… or Is He Your Lord?

It’s easy to call Jesus “Savior.” But is He truly your Lord? In this episode, we explore the difference between believing in Jesus and surrendering to Him. The narrow road requires full surrender.

Today’s episode asks a question every believer must face.
Is Jesus just your Savior—or is He truly your Lord?
Because there’s a difference.
And eternity depends on it.
⸻ We love to talk about Jesus as our Savior.
He saved us from sin.
He died for us.
He forgives us.
And all of that is true—and beautiful.

(00:24):
But here’s what many never ask.
Is He your Lord?
Luke 6:46 – “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?
” That verse should shake us.

Because Jesus is saying (00:35):
Don’t call Me Lord if you don’t obey Me.
See, salvation isn’t just praying a prayer.
It’s surrendering your life.
Romans 10:9.
– “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved.
” Not just Savior.

Lord.
That means He gets the final say.
In your relationships.
In your choices.
In your money.
In your time.
In your desires.
In your sexuality.
In your identity.
A lot of people want Jesus to save them—but not to rule them.
But Jesus doesn’t come into your life to be a silent passenger.

He comes to take the wheel.
You can’t liv for yourself and claim to follow Christ.
Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ.
It is no longer I who liv, but Christ who livs in me.
” That’s what Lordship looks like.
So I ask you again.
Is Jesus just your Savior… or is He your Lord?

⸻ Lord Jesus, Forgive me for the ways I’ve claimed Your name but kept control.
I don’t want a partial faith—I want full surrender.
You didn’t die to be part of my life.
You died to take over.
Be not just my Savior, but my Lord.
