Hey Fam, Let’s talk about something that needs to be said.

—idolatry isn’t just about loving something too much… it’s also about being consumed by hate.
And when it comes to Donald Trump, a lot of people fall into both traps.
Some idolize him.
They defend everything he says,trust him more than they trust Scripture,
and make him their source of hope for America.
Others idolize their hatred of him.

He dominates their thoughts.
They talk more about Trump than they do about Jesus.
He’s become their villain, but still their focus.
Either way—it’s idolatry.
“You shall have no other gods before me.
” – Exodus 20:3.
“Do not put your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.

” – Psalm 146:3.
Let’s be honest.
the devil doesn’t care whether you worship Trump or obsess over hating him—as long as your eyes are off Christ.
This is a spiritual war.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood…” – Ephesians 6:12.
So whether you support or oppose him—don’t let him become your idol.

Don’t let your love or your hate replace your focus on God.
Pray with me.
Lord, search our hearts.
If Trump has taken Your place in our thoughts, emotions, or hopes, forgive us.
Let us walk in truth, not obsession.
Let us speak boldly, but love rightly.
Our hope is not in a man, but in Jesus Christ.
