Let’s start here (00:00):
it’s okay to cry.
(00:02):
It’s okay to not understand.
Even Jesus wept (John 11:35) — and He knew He was about to raise Lazarus.
That means He feels your pain.
He’s not distant from suffering.
He enters it.
If you’re grieving the loss of a child, or someone you love is suffering — I’m sorry.
And I don’t want to rush past that pain.
(00:25):
God doesn’t expect you to hide your tears.
He keeps track of every one (Psalm 56:8).
⸻ Here’s the hard truth (00:32):
God did not create a world with cancer.
In the beginning, there was no pain, no disease, no death.
Genesis tells us God made the world good.
Very good.
But sin broke it.
Not because children sinned — but because humanity rebelled.
Sin fractured everything (00:51):
bodies, nature, relationships.
Romans 8:22 says even creation is “groaning” — waiting to be restored.
Cancer is part of that brokenness.
It’s not fair.
It’s not right.
But it’s real.
And it reminds us this world is not our home.
(01:13):
⸻ God is not sitting in heaven enjoying our pain.
In fact, He hates death.
He calls it an “enemy” (1 Corinthians 15:26).
God doesn’t cause cancer — He permits it in a broken world where free will and the fall have consequences.
But even when He allows it,He’s still working to bring healing,
(01:34):
comfort,and eternal hope through it.
That doesn’t mean it’s easy.
But it means He’s still good, even when life is not.
⸻ When we wonder if God cares, we look to the cross.
God watched His own innocent Son suffer and die.
Not because He was powerless — but because He was making a way to destroy sin,
(01:54):
death, and hell once and for all.
Jesus knows what it’s like to suffer.
He knows what it’s like to be rejected, beaten, and killed.
And He did it so we could one day liv where there is no more cancer and no more death (Revelation 21:4).
The cross proves this (02:11):
God is not far from our pain — He bled to defeat it.
⸻ This question breaks hearts.
Where are they now?
The Bible teaches that God is just, merciful, and loving beyond what we understand.
Jesus welcomed children, blessed them, and said,“The kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Matthew 19:14).
We don’t know every child’s story — but we know this (02:35):
God is more merciful than we are.
He sees every tear, every moment, every soul.
And He welcomes children with arms of love.
⸻ If you’re angry at God — tell Him.
If you’re crushed — run to Him.
Let the reality of death push you to ask the deeper question (02:52):
Am I ready to meet Him?
This life is short.
Pain proves that.
But Jesus offers eternal life — not because we deserve it, but because He paid for it.
⸻ I don’t know why every child dies.
But I do know this (03:09):
God doesn’t waste pain.
And one day, He will make all things new.
So if you’re hurting, cling to Jesus.
If you’re questioning, cry out to Him.
And if you’re still breathing — it’s not too late to surrender your life to the only One who can give you peace in this broken world.
This world is broken — but Jesus is coming back.
(03:32):
And when He does, cancer dies forever.
