On this episode Andrea McMaster conducts and co-produces her fantastic and very conversational interview with me thru Zoom for Episode #306 of the podcast. This is Andrea's third time on the podcast, and the interview is divided into three parts:

1. First I talk with Andrea about the three-part Basement Dwellers series that we did for the podcast over the last several months: Part 1 on February 2nd with Ann Kaatz LoBue, James Alsup, John Earl Robinson, and Debbie Bernstein LaCroix thru Zoom for Episode #274, Part 2 on March 5th with Jon Odell , Brad Dunn, Skye Giordano, and Erik Bilstad thru Zoom for Episode #277, and the In Person edition on May 4th with James Alsup, Elaine Moody, and Amy Schmelzer for Episode #287 from the Meredith Hall Basement facilities. I summarized for Andrea the numerous and significant changes that have occurred in the Meredith Hall Basement facilities over the last decade.

2. Then we talk about the Saturday morning cartoons that Andrea and I watched when we were kids, and I also tell Andrea about the things that I usually do on Friday nights and Saturdays.

3. We wrap up this episode with Andrea asking me what my goals are for the rest of 2025. I answer her question by reiterating my main goal of having a total of 50 new episodes produced and recorded of the podcast during this year.

This episode of the podcast was recorded on Saturday July 12, 2025 and it runs 40 minutes long. Our opening and closing theme music is provided by Oleg Kyrylkovv courtesy of Pixabay. Funding for this podcast is provided by RandomKid, Lisa Krain, and Wendi Roush. Enjoy!

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
