Additionally, the episode covers the significance of eclipse season, which occurs multiple times annually and tends to magnify and intensify personal and collective experiences, whether positive or negative. With the current eclipse season taking place on the Libra and Aries axis, themes of self and relationships are highlighted, encouraging listeners to reflect on these areas. Navigating Mercury Retrograde and Eclipse Season: A Cosmic Journey

---

Are you feeling the intense energies of Mercury retrograde and eclipse season? In the midst of cosmic shifts and celestial alignments, it's essential to tune in and understand the dynamics at play. Join me as we delve into the realm of astrology and explore the insights and wisdom that these cosmic events bring forth.

---

As we find ourselves in the midst of eclipse season, the energies are magnified and intensified, challenging us to align with our true path. Whether you're feeling the push forward or the intensified stress, now is the time to pay attention to what the universe is revealing to you. Journal, meditate, and reflect on your relationships and sense of self during this powerful time.

---

Mercury retrograde adds another layer of intensity, prompting us to slow down, reflect, and reevaluate our lives. Just like driving in reverse, this period urges us to pay attention to details we may have overlooked before. It's a time for reassessment and not rushing into new endeavors. Give yourself more time, be patient, and trust in the process.

---

While Mercury retrograde in Aries may feel like driving a sports car backwards, the key is to embrace the slowdown and honor the need for reflection and reevaluation. Surrender to the flow of the universe and trust that everything is unfolding as it should. Take this time to nourish your body, relationships, and mind, finding moments of peace amidst the cosmic chaos.

---

As we approach the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th, remember to slow down, be gentle with yourself, and prioritize what truly matters in your life. Embrace the opportunity to connect with loved ones, express your feelings, and live with intention and presence. Let's navigate these cosmic energies together and emerge stronger and more aligned with our true selves.

(00:05):
Hey, hey, everybody, welcomeback to the Kaya podcast.
So, oh man, what's hilarious aboutthis podcast is we were supposed to
put it out two days ago on Wednesday,as is our normal podcast launch day.

(00:25):
Or a new episode day and with thecurrent times mercury being in
retrograde, you know, it's only fittingthat that just did not work for us.
So this entire episode y'all isgoing to be about mercury and
retrograde, what that truly means.
And then I will also be diving intothe current mercury and retrograde that

(00:48):
we're in, as well as being kind of smackdab in the middle of eclipse season.
So if you have been feeling it forthe last couple of weeks, just know
that you are not alone and there's alot happening in the cosmos above us.
It started right around March 25th, andit will hopefully release a little bit

(01:13):
of its intense grip around April 27th.
So let's dive on in and juststart with the eclipses.
I know I said I was going to doMercuria Trigrid first, but I'm
actually going to start with eclipses.
So, you know, we, anytime we'rein eclipse season, which we find
ourselves in multiple times a year.

(01:34):
Everything is magnified and intensified.
So if things are going well and youfind yourself in alignment and in
congruence with where you're at, theneclipse season can be really beneficial
to just turn up the speed and pressus forward and push us forward at a
faster pace to get to our destination.

(01:55):
And two sides to every coin.
If we are not super aligned or weare in a place of confusion or stress
or not congruent with where we wantto be and how we want to be living,
then the opposite can be true.
That will also be magnified.
And so those stressors and that pressureand the conflict and all of the things

(02:17):
will also be intensified and magnified.
I love, I love, love, love Eclipse season.
Reason being again, is it's kind of atwo by four to the face in a positive
way or potentially challenging way.
But it's a great opportunity for usto kind of wake up, put ourselves
back on track and I invite peopleduring Eclipse season to say, Hey, do

(02:42):
not bypass what's coming up for you.
It's not the ideal timeto be an autopilot.
Right.
And just be like, okay, I'mjust going to press forward.
I'm going to push forward becausethere's a lot of information that comes
through in the middle of the clip season.
If we are willing.
and open to receive.
So during this particular eclipse season,it is on the Libra and Aries axis.

(03:10):
Libra represents relationship and other, and Aries represents sense of self.
And so a lot Challenging concepts aroundothers and self can potentially show
themselves during the eclipse season.
So if you have found yourself reallyreviewing your relationships with

(03:34):
others or with self or with your jobor whatever, you know, mother nature,
your animals, your children, thisis a really, really powerful time.
So what is coming up for you right now?
I invite you to journal about it.
I invite you to makea voice memo about it.
I invite you to sit over a cup of teaor a cup of coffee with a good friend

(03:55):
and talk about the things that arecoming up for you in eclipse season.
Again, think about eclipsesand think about intensity.
So whatever's happening.
It will often be magnifiedin its intensity.
Now, as if eclipse season is not,you know, intense enough and really

(04:17):
challenges us as human beings to lookat what's happening in our lives, to
see what path we're on and decide.
Do we want to continue to forgethis path or is it time to maybe
pivot and make a different move?
But this eclipse season is a littleauspicious given the fact that we also
have Mercury and retrograde as well.

(04:41):
So we have two fairly important, fairly impactful, and very intense
placements happening at the same time.
They overlap.
So that just takeseverything to another level.
Right?
So be gentle with yourself.
Be patient with yourself.
Slow down if you can.

(05:04):
I have been talking to a lot of peopleand I'm like look, if between now and
April 27th, you can remove some thingsfrom your calendar, from your life, if
you can remove some of the stressors, this is a great period of time to just
say, hey, if this shit is not at the topof my list important and prioritizing.

(05:27):
How about we just liketake it out for now, right?
Reschedule it, replan it,shelf it for the time being.
I do promise it will help.
The next few weeks are reallyriddled with intense astrology.
And rather than get into what's beingconjunct this and what's squaring that

(05:48):
That's not necessary for everyone.
It's more so I want you guys tounderstand, do just take a moment
to chill, chill, meditate, go for awalk, get out into nature, sleep more.
Rest more, be intentional with whereyou're putting your time and energy.

(06:10):
These are the things that will behelpful during this eclipse season.
And again, because it's on theLibra and Aries axis, it's bringing
up issues for ourselves, right?
How do I want to feel?
What is working for me?
What is my sense of self?
Do I feel secure?
How is my self esteem?

(06:31):
What's going on for me personally?
And then the tug and pull ofwhat are my relationships like?
Right?
How am I in relationship?
How are things going with my partner?
How am I showing up?
Are we doing a weekly date time?
Are we in autopilot?
What is the last time Iconnected with my person?
What is the last time wesat together and I gazed?

(06:54):
What is the last time we went for a walk?
What am I doing with my children, myanimals, my business, my relationship to
God or source or whomever it is that youconnect with, what does that look like?
So all these questionsare coming into play.
So take the time y'allduring eclipse season.
We do have it.

(07:15):
Eclipse season will endnext week on April 8th.
As we have the solar eclipse, so thelunar eclipse was on March 25th, the solar
eclipse, as most of us have been hearingabout and learning about or preparing
to look at or see on April 8th, thatwill kind of, you know, tie up eclipse
season, but we're not out of the woods.

(07:36):
So on April 1st, which Ialso think is comical, right?
It's April Fool's Day, Mercury Stationretrograde at that point in time.
So, you know.
There's a lot in the media anda lot on social about mercury
in retrograde or mercury in themicrowave and Gatorade and I love it.
I think it's hilarious.

(07:57):
There can also be a little bit of atone under, uh, about mercury retrograde
that's like, oh man, it's going to be theworst and my life is going to go to shit
and everything that go will go wrong.
That is not how it has to be.
So let me share with you guys I sharedthis on another podcast, the radio

(08:18):
daybreak podcast with some friends.
And it's something that I love totalk about during this period of time.
When mercury is in retrograde, just see it as mercury.
We are driving to our destination, but we have to drive in reverse.
So, you know, if I'm going todrive from my house and I'm going
to go to the grocery store andI drive forward, I can get there

(08:39):
in seven or eight minutes, right?
Pretty easy.
Honestly, I probably don'tthink a whole lot about it.
I'm passing the samethings I pass every time.
It's probably a littleautopilot and mindless.
When we are in Mercury retrograde,it's as though I'm trying to go to the
grocery store, but now I'm being forcedto drive there while driving in reverse.

(09:01):
So what does that mean?
Well, I'm more than likelygoing to drive slower, right?
Because I can't just drive thenormal 35, 40 miles an hour.
If I do that more thanlikely, I will crash.
So that's kind of what happens atMercury retrograde if we do that.
Honor and recognize that as a time to slowdown, then yeah, we can crash and burn.

(09:22):
We can bump up into things that maybewouldn't have happened had we slowed down.
And when we drive in reverse, we have topay far more attention to that than we
do when we're driving forward and it's aroute that we've taken a hundred times.
When I'm driving backwards to the store,I might notice a house or a landmark

(09:46):
or a business or a stoplight or a stopsign that maybe I haven't seen before.
And that is really thepoint of Mercury Retrograde.
That is what it is asking us to do.
Is slow down.
Rereview, reassess.
Re remember.
So Mercury, retro, re right.

(10:09):
Any word that starts with re is thetime of things in Mercury retrograde.
So we want to reevaluate, restart something new.
Not something new.
So, from an astrology standpoint,Mercury retrograde is really not
the ideal time to launch a newproject or start something new.

(10:32):
Now, if you have something goingon during Mercury retrograde,
you planned it months ago.
Planned it years ago and you'relike, Oh no, I can't launch it.
Is that going to make whateveryou have planned fail?
Absolutely not.
Okay.
There is a lot of free willand each individual person
can be affected differently.

(10:53):
However, in general, itis a time to slow down.
It is a time to reflect, reassess.
And so if there is something thatyou've started before, right?
Like, If you're listening to thispodcast and you're like, Oh, I started
a podcast and then it kind of died off.
This was a great time.
Mercury Retrograde is agreat time to relaunch it.

(11:15):
It's a great time to review it andmaybe it just needs a few tweaks, right?
Or you just got to jump back into it.
So, I invite you during this time, duringMerkur Retrograde, to not freak out
and think everything's gonna go wrong.
I do consistently see the same patternagain as giving yourself more time.

(11:36):
So if I need to go to the grocerystore and Merkur is on a retrograde, I
will give myself You know, maybe 30 45minutes between drive time in there.
During Mercury Retrograde, if I haveto drive backwards to the store,
it'll probably take me at leastthree times longer to get there.
So between now and April27th, give yourself more time.

(11:58):
You know, if you are traveling, instead of getting to the airport 90
minutes early, why don't you get theretwo to two and a half hours early?
If you have a lot of appointmentsone day, maybe give yourself a little
bit more cushion in between thoseappointments to see what actually happens.
Okay.
So we've got the eclipse comingup on the 8th of next week.

(12:21):
I highly, highly, highly suggest.
Uh, you know, around the 10th to justreally slow it down, y'all, slow it down.
Be careful about the things that youengage in and do your best to just find,
you know, the ways to nourish your body, nourish your relationships, nourish your

(12:45):
heart, nourish your mind in those times.
And then again, April 27th, whenit finally goes direct and at that
point in time, we will see some typeof relief from this intense energy.
And I had a conversation with somebodythe other day, and, You know, it's like,
they're like, well, I'm killing it, right?

(13:06):
I'm crushing it.
This is, I'm, I'm doing great.
So Mercury in retrograde,it's not really affecting me.
And that can absolutely be the truth, especially right now, because if
this is somebody who has felt alignedand is living in alignment, remember
the eclipse prior to the Mercuryretrograde and overlapping of it is
going to push things even faster.

(13:28):
Right, so we're also plantingseeds during Mercury retrograde or
eclipse season for the next eclipseand the next Mercury retrograde.
So do think about what iscoming into your space now.
These are the times I, I trulyfeel as though astrology and
the cosmos Give us this time.

(13:49):
It is a gift.
It is easy to go a hundred milesper hour every day, back to back to
back, get caught up in life and workand be busy all the time, right?
It can be a little scary andchallenging to take a step back and
say, okay, how do we really feelabout what's happening in my life?

(14:12):
If I take a look at my life and Ireflect on my life, on my choices,
On the trajectory of where I'm going,is this fully where I want to be?
That can be scary, y'all.
It can be really scary because what ifwe reflect and we sit down and we're
honest with ourself and we're like, oh no.

(14:32):
And in our gut, we have this feeling oflike, is this actually where I want to be?
So that is going to bemercury in retrograde.
It's as though the planet, the planetends up, the rotation looks so slow
from earth that it looks to be moving inreverse, which it's not, it just, the.

(14:53):
Pattern of the rotation slows so much.
So again, how does thattransfer down here?
Go slow, give yourself more time.
Right?
Allow yourself.
So we can use Mercury Retrograde as anopportune time to reflect, to reassess,

(15:15):
to review our lives, or we can just keepgoing full speed ahead and just be like,
no, I'm gonna get to the store in eightminutes, in reverse, no matter what.
And that is when we see a lotof the challenges come up, for
example, this podcast, right?
So Blane, the producer and writethe wave media of this podcast.

(15:37):
I went to his house on Tuesday.
We brought all the out.
We got everything together.
Try to set this up allthese different ways.
Nothing worked.
I said, look, we've spentenough time and energy.
It's not going to work.
I'll just try again the next day.
Then we jumped on the next day on thepodcast studio and none of the mics would

(15:58):
work and we couldn't get it to work.
And then we're just laughing.
And here's Blane, who's not.
Super into astrology or maybehe's heard bits and pieces and
he's like what this is wild.
I've never had this happen and meUnderstanding right now if this
was not Mercury in retrogradeMan being a Leo Aries moon.

(16:19):
I am like no we got to fix this righthere right now I'd be so frustrated so
overwhelmed, but I have the knowledgeto know Okay right now things are going
to take longer where what you know outof retrograde and Plug in the mic, hit a
few settings and bam, we are in business.

(16:40):
Cool.
Right now, Mercury and Retrograde, plug it in, take it out, put
a charger in, not working.
Right?
So the irony of doing a podcast thisweek that I was so, well, I was like,
Oh, we got to get it out on Wednesday.
People need to have this information.
Right?
So even myself, I'm like, Cambria.
Slow down, you know, things are going tobe tougher than they normally would be.

(17:06):
So take your time.
And then here we are today.
It's a Friday.
We're launching it late.
That's also okay.
And something came up.
I had an energy session done on me,some body work done on me this morning.
And one of the things that she said waswe're going to do a balance for you.

(17:27):
On the pressures and stressesof having to have your podcast
out on time this week, right?
So it's interesting because wedidn't really talk about that,
but this is a really beautiful, energetic human who's very in tune.
And so she knows Sorry, Ithought something, you guys.

(17:47):
I literally thought it just stoppedrecording and I was like, of course.
But here's somebody who couldfeel that in my field, right?
Feel like, oh man, I'm letting peopledown or I gotta get this out on time.
And I really want peopleto have this information.
And it got to have it now becausewe've got three more weeks of this.

(18:08):
And she's like, we'rejust going to balance it.
And I was like, look, itcomes out when it comes out.
So I think there's a term that couldget used over, excuse me, you overused.
And that is surrender.
Right.
I love the word.
I love the, the energetics behind it.
I love the concept.

(18:29):
I often think it gets overused, but thatword has come up a lot in the last few
days, specifically around the podcast.
Like, just surrender.
And there's a level of trust Sosurrendering isn't just about
turning it all over and beingokay with whatever happens.
There is a level of trust inknowing that it will work out.

(18:51):
So I'm trusting, just as I havetrusted with every podcast episode,
you know, maybe I'm like, okay, cool.
I'm going to talk about thisor this topic is the one we're
going to launch this week.
And then I switch it out andI just have to trust, right.
That it lands for somebody.
So, I've had to just surrender thisweek and trust that whatever time

(19:12):
the podcast goes out and whateverday it gets launched is exactly when
it needed to be launched, right?
Because understanding the intensity ofthe astrology, understanding the intensity
of Mercury I do want to say somethingabout Mercury retrograde, this particular
Mercury retrograde, it is an Aries.
And Aries is fire, passion.

(19:35):
It can be reactive.
So not only are we driving a carbackwards right now, because that's
what happens every Mercury Retrograde, because it's retrograding in Aries, it's
like driving a sports car backwards.
So we do have to truly try toforce ourselves to slow down.
I'm laughing at myself becausethis has been a Unintentionally,

(20:01):
but it ended up being that way.
One of the busier weeks that I have hadand days where I've had back to back
events or networking or real estatephotos or podcasting, trying to fix it
or Kaia planning, like I'm just over herelike, Kambra, you freaking know better.

(20:21):
So anyways, y'all look.
We're all just humans trying todo the human ing thing, right?
Trying to live our best life.
That is why Kaia started.
Come as you are.
I am not the expert.
I just have the information andI study it and I'm a student to
this beautiful cyclic passion ofastrology, but I'm also human ing.

(20:44):
I'm also overscheduling myself.
I'm not resting the way that Iactually try to be very intentional
and I've got my own shit coming up too.
So take a breather, talk to yourfriends and family about, Hey guys.
Look, the next three weeks are goingto be really intense energetically.
Let's all have a little more patience,a little more love and everyone

(21:08):
slow the fuck down if you can.
All right.
So best of luck to y'all.
Hopefully you'll hear from me nextWednesday and we can navigate this mercury
retrograde and eclipse season together.
Don't forget solareclipse on Monday the 8th.
Some stuff out there says wemight not exist after that.
You know, what I tell people,I've had a few people say,

(21:30):
Hey, do you think we're done?
Right?
Do you think come April 8th, do youthink humanity exists after that?
Here's what I have to say about that.
I think it's another prime opportunitywhere the universe gives us an
opportunity to say, okay, cool.
Well, let's say maybe we don'texist after Monday, the 8th.
What it does is all of us shouldget really clear, really fast

(21:51):
this weekend in knowing what'simportant to us in our lives.
So let's just assume we don't make it pastApril 8th, and the world comes to an end.
Well this weekend y'all, be superintentional, spend the time with the
people you love, tell people how youfeel about them, and then if I see you
on April 9th, I see you on April 9th.

(22:12):
Okay?
Have a good one.
Take care y'all.
Be easy on yourself.
