He grew up on welfare, section 8 housing and food stamps until the age of 18. His father was in and out of jail, his mother an alcoholic and drug addict raised sometimes six children on her own. Jamil found his solace and refuge in sports and great friends.
He started Healthy Habits with US, Inc a Health Coaching organization which now serviced over 300,000 clients, has mentored & trained over 4,000 independent Health Coaches and has generated over $36,000,000 in annual revenues.
From there he formed E&M Investment Properties, his real estate investing company.
Next, he started Think Life is Different, his education company focusing on Business consulting, Personal Finance and Investing. Through Think Life is Different Jamil not only became a Best Selling Author but a Keynote Speaker as well.
In 2020 he launched his flagship books, “The Richest Man in Direct Sales” and “The Twelve Shifts.” Both of his books became Best Sellers within their first few hours.
He also started Think Life is Different Media which is his publishing company
Over the years Jamil has become a prolific investor. In 2018 he became an Accredited Investor and an Angel Investor, which led him to start his next company in 2023 Frazier Equity Partners (FEP) Frazier Equity Partners deploy private equity to their portfolio companies.
Jamil currently sits on the Board of a handful of his portfolio companies and has established many notable scholarships throughout the years to High Schools, Churches & Universities.
