NYU Campus Update: Finals Prep, WinterFest, Live Music, Sports Wins & More for December 1–8

Make sure to check your exam schedule and start preparing early. Next, the WinterFest: Sight & Sound Showcase is happening this Friday, December 5, at 5:00 PM at 721 Broadway, Lower Level. It's a great opportunity to see faculty-nominated work from our Film & TV students. Lastly, the NYU Percussion Ensemble is performing tonight, December 1, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Don't miss this rhythmic showcase. Our men's basketball team kicked off their West Coast trip with a solid 78-63 win over California Lutheran University on November 26. Carnegie Johnson led the charge with 20 points. The Violets continue their road games this week. The Wagner Health Network is hosting a Fall Trivia Night tonight, December 1, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It's a fun way to unwind and test your knowledge. Also, the NYU Composers’ Ensemble is performing on December 3, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Experience new compositions by our talented students. This week in New York City, expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures ranging from the low 30s to mid-40s. Notably, Tuesday brings rain and snow, so pack an umbrella and dress warmly.
