No Mitch on the ep, but Mitch in the description, haunting it like a Victorian-era ghost in a manor, or like a link you would be directed to. And also in the ep a bit. But post-ep recording. Diachronically speaking, is someone "on the pod" if they're not there for the primary recording, and don't interact with the hosts, but are annoyingly unavoidable in every other aspect by which one interacts with the show? What a fascinating area of discussion that could last between 50 minutes to 1 hour.  The gang don't talk about that though. Because they didn't have someone to keep them on the straight and narrow. They instead talk about Tony Armstrong's sketch and the way racism is systemic and racists are educated people, and about how The Greens gilded the lily on their AUKUS abolishment announcement by needlessly proposing $4b for weapons manufacturing.
