Dean Biersch is a pioneer in the brewpub and craft beer industries, with a career spanning four decades. In 1988, he co-founded Gordon Biersch, establishing a series of successful restaurants & breweries across the United States. With his brewing partner Dan Gordon, GB was known for its commitment to German-style lagers, quality food pairings, and inviting environments. Biersch’s influence on the industry continued with the establishment of HopMonk Tavern in 2008. Today, he remains dedicated to creating Taverns, Beer Gardens and Music Venues inspired by craft beer.
