(00:00):
Welcome to the Salt Podcast. If you're just joining us, we're
on episode 6. I'm George Iskander and as
always I have with me Simon Thomas Gilto, my Co host.
We did not plan the matching outfits.
We just rocked up today and we're both wearing the same
colours. But I played accident.
Yeah, I guess we're just vibing, you know, chemistry, chemistry.
All right, so today's guest, I don't even know how to introduce

(00:21):
him without feeling unaccomplished in life.
So what we'll do is we'll play asmall clip to sum up our guest
and then we'll give him a littlebit of introduction and then
he'll join us. Wow.

(00:59):
So Andrew Verona, for those who don't know, has lived about four
lives in one. He spent about 26 years as a
professional race car driver, which is longer than Simon's
been alive. And yes, Simon is only 24 years
old. We had a few inquiries come in
after people found out he was single after the last episode.
Inquiry. Yeah, don't worry, you'll know

(01:19):
when you need to know. So just keep it in mind.
He's only 24 years old. But back to Andrew.
He is not just any driver, he's a two time champion.
And if that wasn't enough, he jumps into the media scene,
becomes ATV producer and TV analyst working with ESPN.
He starts working with the President of the United States
and top CE OS in the country. Now he runs three companies with

(01:42):
over 200 employees. And he's not just chasing
success, he's also chasing truth.
He's got Catholic background andhe's now attending Saint Jude's
Orthodox Church. So as a man, I'll be honest,
I'm, I'm genuinely on how of howmuch he's accomplished.
And he actually saw our podcast on Instagram and reached out to
us and said he'd love to come onand chat to us and talk about

(02:03):
God and what God has done in hislife.
So joining us all the way from Miami, someone I deeply respect
and I can't wait to learn from. Please welcome the man, the
legend Andrew Verona. Thank you.
Thank you for an amazing intro. Thank you.
Thank you, guys. Thank you guys.
As you can see in Miami was kindof a we're a little bit more

(02:24):
colorful. We have a lot of colors here in
Miami and stuff. And I am actually in my office
where we do all of our podcasts with ESCN and a lot of different
things that I'm involved with speed lead campaigns with racing
and and I appreciate the intro yeah, racing's been kind of part
of my life. I got at the age 67.

(02:47):
I mean, just feed over 100 milesan hour or just about RCC long
Nash and I got into race really quick, you know, and I love it,
You know, I love it. And my journey with the Lord
actually came probably when I was about 7 or 8.
Believe it or not, I still see every Sunday Mass DO giving the

(03:14):
mask at the Vatican. It was crazy.
I thought it was just normal going to church.
And one thing that I will say isthat when the Lord is hewed and
he could just hold of you, there's just nothing he can do.
And I try to say God, please. I have that everywhere I go.
So you know, I got my Bible right here.

(03:34):
Can you believe me and my Bible to test this?
I say, God, please, I don't wanna walk this off.
I don't wanna tell you. This is so much for me to carry
and he's I guess so you gotta carry him.
Like or not, you did what you wanna do.
Now it's my time. I will ask a question that we do
want to get to know because whenGeorge told me a guest of your

(03:54):
caliber is wanting to come on tothe podcast, we were both
obviously thrilled. But I really want to ask what
made you reach out to us and want to come on the show and at
what stage in your life did you want to?
Did you want to start talking about Christ openly?
Well, you know, you guys are still good looking.
I kind of. He's charming.

(04:16):
Oh. My goodness, no, you know, I, I
heard of your podcast and I think you said you're 24.
I would love to have done what you're doing on the 24th and
just maybe you would have loved some what I, you know, operate
like this. Sometimes I say, God, you know,
there's really what Christ wouldwant me to do.

(04:38):
You know, we're here to spread the word gospel.
And at 24, I really didn't do that, you know, and I looked up
something like what you guys aredoing and it's amazing.
And we need this today so much more than in the past.
I can tell you that just by experience, I lived.

(04:58):
So I've lived, I can say it seems 10 people's lives in my
lifetime, you know, and I've seen so many different things,
but starting early is extremely important.
And you know, if I say the people start early because.
You know. There's a saying that I stay,
drop the iPhone and pick up the bike and I say that there's

(05:21):
nothing. I said for the last few years
for kids that my nieces drop theiPhone and they're looking at
me. They, they just, you know, their
eyes look at me and they're rolling it backwards.
But I don't think you know, but that's just the truth, you know?
I mean, that we're living in a in a society that's just, it's
just that, See, when they go to dinner and you see a family,

(05:41):
it's 7. They're all.
Yeah. It's definitely a challenge of
our times. So I guess what I want to start
talking about is what was it like stepping into the world of
pro racing? Give us a little bit of a
background. It's it's we were just
discussing before we started filming Car racing is is big in

(06:01):
Australia. I mean, me and Simon are not as
familiar. So what kind of pressures are
there in in that space and how did you kind of deal with it and
what was it, what was it like being in those high stakes
situations? In my 10 years of racing, I
thought while in the track, fourdeath, four people die and I can

(06:21):
tell you there's drivers today that have never ever seen one.
So these have changes. So going on to that, did you
yourself have any serious accidents or near death
experiences? I did.
I actually that's kind of when Icame very close with God.
My car slipped 4 times and they hit the wall.

(06:45):
You guys probably can see it or you can't shit.
There's a, there's a mark, there's a, there's a, there's a
March that all the way. There's a plate that has 27 on
screws in my hand. Just Bob was cutting that
basically and my balls came out.It is kind of a funny story
because I don't remember much ofit.

(07:06):
The helicopter took one of theseabout racing just like it was
then and it's now. It's always been a pretty safe
sport since the you'll have an ambulance.
Someone taking me out of the carwith him.
It seems like an owl. It's 2 minutes.
I was in AI was in a helicopter. It was the doctor in the
helicopter. He's like, and I was drugged

(07:28):
out. Like I remember there's such a
threat on it. My boat was sticking out and
he's like, does it hurt? And I'm like, yeah, really.
Like more big deal. I can tell you within 5 minutes
I was teen stars. He's like, I'll make it you.
Are you right left hand? I'm right-handed because if you
sign from my son here and close to that, I got that I was the
daughter. I'm thinking I'll give you some

(07:51):
morphine and I think I think I spent my life away.
But I'm off to Costco the next day with none.
But it's kind of funny. So Andrew, you mentioned that
you've had multiple near death experiences, both injuries to
yourself and witnessing people close to you that have died.
How have those in turn brought you closer to Christ?

(08:14):
You know, every day is it less than every day that we're alive
is just less. And sometimes I just took us for
granted. You know, my life was I had to
have not for 24 hour days. I had a 28 hour days.
My days were not adopted in 24 hours.
And now what I wanted to do at such a quick stage of that time,

(08:36):
I wanted to do much slower. Now I can tell you that to be
honest, it's just amazing how God has shown me slower is
better. And that's coming from a race
park where I mean lower and, andsome of these guys had passed
away or you're 22/24/23. And I'm like, why am I?

(08:57):
And tell me, just tell you give you an example so you guys can
get an example. And it tells us a lot of people
that you know, they're not, theydon't know that much about
racing. They've got to a few, they've
seen them on TV. If you go to a pitch, you're in
the 50 yard route of that pitch and I'm going 220 miles an hour,
which is 360 kilometers. I tell you to count 1 to 2 1/2

(09:19):
at 1.8 seconds. I'm from one side of the pitch
to the other side of the pitch and there was an entire stop at
real. I will ask at 1.8 seconds.
What I'm saying for you is there's an accident is by not
about. It's just you're blessed and God
didn't want it to be your 10. There's just no people say,
well, is there a reflexing No, there's just when you get an

(09:42):
accident. When I do that four times, I'm
just think forever and I'm seeing my life just pass slowly
and everything go by slowly and you start kind of understanding
that life is sought as a gift. It really is.
And for me it started early. And I wanted to mention this is
you brought that plus tonight ingreen.

(10:04):
So when I was seven years old, Iwas living in Italy.
Never had an accident going intokarting at 90 miles an hour.
But if I tell you this is going a lot, American bikes never had
brakes in the hand and it was, they had it on the floor, right?
You know, like we had a paddle and break.
Well, in Italy, I'm renting the bike and I'm basically breaking

(10:27):
and breaking an idiot in the brakes in the paddle and it
doesn't work. Desert here, I get hit by a car
at 60 miles an hour. My bike, they say must have
gone. I don't know 40 meters if you I
mean 100 yards or slip just blind.
It fell in place. It turned I hit my head and I

(10:49):
blocked that too. So I felt busy.
Don't remember I saw visit. I woke up again in the hospital,
a bump like this. And you know, my mother and
father were freaking out, Mr. Screaming, whatever.
In two years, shame went by. Two years went by.

(11:12):
I was 11. I was with my grandma.
I was 11 and I was in Rome and she saw those little like
pictures and stuff. And I said, grandma, this is
what I saw. This is what I saw that he's
facing right on me. And I saw him when I open my
eyes and I remember the accident.
This is the person that I saw. If I tell you who it was, it's

(11:34):
it's incredible. It was saying too, and my middle
name is Andrew Jude, Doctor Barolo, and it was Saint Jude.
And if you want me to say I go to, I've been going to the same
Saint Jude church for 28 years. It's not like coincidence.
That's amazing. God does things and God works in

(11:56):
mysterious ways. And maybe I don't understand it,
but everything happens in everyone's life and all we need
to do is open up. I don't have those experiences,
you know, and and even though they began at an early age,
maybe that's why I always hide it beside me.
You know you know when you're born you're you're in the book

(12:16):
life God. I think all of us are shows
living now. We're the ones who walked away
from Jesus. Jesus never lost away from us.
We walk away from him and since I was little, I didn't walk away
come back, walk away, come back. But when Jesus now be and and he
had to hold me now. So now there's no walk no way

(12:38):
anymore. It's just truth and it has to
come out and and if I could do 100 or 1000 podcast talking
about it, I will include gladly. You know, I told me you want to
talk about that for hard, not for drivers.
Now you want to talk about JesusPrice apps?
I love that. I love that it's beautiful.
Thanks for sharing that with us.As you were talking, I noticed
on your wrist you have a a beautiful cross bracelet.

(13:00):
Do you have anything to share itwith us about that or how do you
get it or what, why you wear that?
Yeah, You know, I was in Rome, Iwas in Italy in the Montage Park
in race just about a month ago alittle bit.
And I was with a digital priest. And he said, and I explained to
him, I said, look, you know, there's a lot of things that,

(13:23):
you know, human being advice. You know, I'm on the point of
time for Peter. This that when I'm in the hotel,
sometimes I'm I'm Instagram. I have those followers, they
write and blah, blah, blah. I like gambling.
I have in his adrenaline and he'll take me gambling, I'll
gamble and everything. And he says, why don't you work
this little, little thing that I'll people embrace it.

(13:43):
And he has little cross up the hand, a little cross, the TI
just let it touch your hand. Didn't think nothing of it.
And believe it or not, I startedjust so we would buy, you know,
things were normal when when I wired over with drinks, it was
just like, no, no, just give me a coat.
And my friend here coat. Yeah, just give me a coat.

(14:05):
I'll be given a coat. And then and I remember we were
just, I was in the Monaco race, you know, Monaco has amazing
places to gamble, you know. Yeah, amazing.
And like I said, I'm an adrenaline junkie.
I I get into all those things and I love being part of the

(14:26):
acts just said that. But I can control myself by like
being part of the ice and the casinos.
You know, they, they see race park drivers and they will cater
to them. I mean, he's like a cater like
if you were based, I walk in andyou get Lewis Hamilton and you
have security, blah, blah, blah. They pay credit what they say.

(14:47):
Look at the end of the one one guy says like you're, you're
with a lead. We'll just, we'll just worry.
Don't give this money. We just get to watch.
You know that that's and and andbelieve it or not, I was there
three hours. I didn't gamble one time.
The first time in my life. I don't gamble one.
Excuse me. And I just hooked the cross and

(15:08):
I said, no, God, I don't think this is what I'm supposed to do
now. And, and I got this for
wheezing, and it helps so much, at least to me.
And I think it would help men and women if they take it
seriously and they see, well, they fall.
Absolutely. Yeah.

(15:28):
Have I done things done that I said and I screwed up?
Yes. But this will keep you on the
track. And like anything else, it's
kind of like a muscle memory. Once you start getting used to
this, once you start saying, Jesus, you're here, you're in
control. And now what I've done, you
know, we got ATV in our lives are chain Breakers.

(15:50):
We got to break that chain. You know, all of us have that
chips and we feel that we can't just change that chip.
He can, we can. And the only person that can do
that beside us is Jesus Christ is the blood of Jesus Christ,
the blood that he gave when he died of the cross.
When he died of the cross, he died such a brutal death.

(16:11):
Every shedding of his blood was for all of our sins and this is
what it is Slitter reminds me of.
So when I want to gamble on a tree, I don't want to look at
something that I shouldn't look at.
I look at the cross and I think and I remember what he did for
us and to me it's amazing. It's just amazing, you know, and
it's me. Honestly, if you ask me, I will

(16:33):
give all those championships to know that I have to semi risk.
You know, that's how important it is.
I don't know how people feel that way.
But like I said, when he gets a hold of you and there's
something from my Instagram thatI could real story on there, and
I said when God gets a hold of you, it's just very solitary
like, and I'll tell you why, because other than brothers of

(16:55):
Christ, like you guys, I talked to drivers and they're like and
you when you turn into a freeze and that's that feeling that I
had there just doesn't go away. It's something I'm like Jesus,
why, why, why for now. It's because maybe now he wants
me to do the most important thing in my life.
So you know. Well, I'm very glad that you've,

(17:17):
you've received that calling from God and you're taking it
because we need more people likeyou with big followings and, you
know, big notoriety to, to talk about Christ because that's how
we reach, you know, millions of people and people need to hear a
message of hope. And I think that's what made us
start this podcast is, you know, scrolling on Instagram and
seeing all the rubbish that's onInstagram.

(17:38):
I wanted to flood the Instagram feeds with, you know, fruitful
content that people can look at and, and be moved to moved a
step towards Christ. So I think that's beautiful.
And what you said about having the cross on your hands, I mean,
us as Coptic Orthodox Christians, a lot of us have a
cross on our on our wrist, on our right hand.
Just like you said, there is a lot of history behind that.

(17:59):
But the reason why I got it on my hand is like you mentioned,
like a lot of sins that you do start with your right hand
picking up a drink, you know, falling into sin, you know,
gambling, It's all with your right hand.
So having the cross on your wrist like that is a reminder.
And it's it's your strength. As Christians, the cross is our
strength. The cross is, you know, what may

(18:22):
appear as weakness to many otherpeople is actually the ultimate
strength for, for for somebody with all the power in the world
to, like, lay their life down for you.
It is the ultimate symbol of strength.
So yeah, I think that's beautiful.
Yeah. You know, I have a big frost on
my left hand. I don't know if you guys can see

(18:43):
her. It never worked as well as the
one on the right and the one on the right really works for me
well, and I think it would work for so many.
Just this is experience because every time I want to do
something, it actually hangs in my hand.
So I'm typing and it's there reminding me no.
Can I have a frost here or here? And this does a lot more to me

(19:07):
because it gives me every time it touches, it gives me the
guilt, the guilt of I know that each shed of blood for me.
So it gives me that extra. Maybe I need that more than
somebody else. Maybe something like my
personality, just adrenaline constantly just wanted to be
out. Do things go over there

(19:28):
non-stop. So you know, it's amazing that
all the view and have you have and what you share because that
you know it's beautiful for man it's true.
It's a great tip. I think a lot of our listeners
that are looking to to maybe getcloser to God.
Having a cross on your wrist like that is a is a very
beautiful idea. Absolutely.

(19:50):
And also, after hearing what youjust stated to us, I want to say
I really appreciate how open andhonest you are because
unfortunately, in this day and age, everyone doesn't want to be
judged. No one wants to make their their
white shirt look black or dirty in front of people.
But what you've done is you've openly stated that, yes, I'm a

(20:11):
human. Yes, I've made mistakes.
However, through God's grace andlove, and only those two things
have I been able to come out a better man.
And that's what's important. That's what that's ultimately
what we want our viewers to hearin the sense where we're not
here trying to glow or boast about the good.
That we do. We're trying to bring close to
the people who think that their relationship with God is still

(20:35):
miles and miles away. So we're trying to get to the
finish line just as everyone else.
And we appreciate your honesty. And with that being said, I'd
like to steer it to another question.
You're obviously a very great man with ambition.
I can hear it in the way you've spoken.
You're ambitious in every stage of your life, whether it's your
professional career in racing, whether it's your career after

(20:57):
in politics or whether it's in just work.
How has your career, has your ambition ever stopped your
relationship with Christ? Has it ever been a deterrent in
order for you to get closer withGod?
Yeah, yes. Being in politics, working at
the White House is not a good place to be at.

(21:21):
Just don't leave it at that. It's not, it's not, it's not
induced to your faith. They will judge for your faith
and they will point you out for your faith hearing.
Just leave it at that. Did you find that happening?

(21:43):
Absolutely, and I was with the most again, I was with the
family of the president. We were everywhere together.
And I remember I I I was with Jim Joe's brother or pretty much
everywhere. And then I used to talk about
Jesus and stuff like that. And he's like, yeah, I think one
while when I was young myself a life Jim, let's be serious.

(22:06):
So they're not they're they're not too much.
He believed how unfortunately, power and money and faith do not
go with faith in my, in my, in my opinion, and I say very
humbly, though, I think God wants us to prosper absolutely.
So I think God wants us to do well and to strive to give us

(22:31):
the most that we can. But what he gives us, we have to
understand that we have to be a good source to use it the
correct way. And that's the problem Today you
can make millions and, and in mylifetime, I've made a lot of, a
lot of money and it's not the most, but have I made a lot of

(22:52):
mistakes with that money? Absolutely.
And I don't want to make that mistake.
I want to make sure that going forward, the time that I spend
it faced with with you, faced with other individuals here that
that are close to the the faith.I have other priests and fathers

(23:16):
here that are very well known inthe United States.
And I am, you know, I am a big believer that you have to be in
that community. You know, you have to be
together with people like you and and, and, and just so you
know, and I want to say this back from you racing might be

(23:37):
great. You might feed my millions of
followers. This is all rubbish because at
the end of the day, 99% stuff that you see on the Internet,
it's just to be honest, false and fake.
Just to be honest. People will not show.
It's funny how people show theirgood side but they will not show
your back one. 100%. You need to be.

(23:58):
You need to be real and at the end of the day, I've learned
that. Yeah, well, it's a lot of
relationships. I have my own perfume line that
I that I've done extremely well with Baccarat, with the highest
companies that are in the perfume line at Paris.
My perfume line came out 2022. It came out in Europe, it came

(24:20):
out in Moscow, it came out in Dubai.
They were biggest pairs and we were sold out for the first hour
half. We still got 1000 bottles
immediately. And if you might bet you, me,
well, just different benches that I've done.
But a lot of that, unfortunately, when you work a

(24:44):
lot, it hates you from the focus.
What is important, what is important to me now, which is
the word God. And there's just no way that you
can. There's just no way you wake up.
I don't think there's 5 or 530 now.
Spend your first 10-15 minutes of the day of Jesus and be
successful. This is I just straight up I

(25:06):
mean I hear people say you have to make your bed.
No, you don't have to make your bed.
First thing you need to do is you have to say God thank you
for today. Thank you for letting me wake up
God you're amazing. I'd love to thank you for taking
care of my family. Those are the Egypts say the 1st
2 seconds of Gov then you can make it, then you can then then
go on to make your bed. But you have to just give them

(25:27):
thanks every single day and you have to try to do this as much
as possible. You know, there's pre busted and
you know we're reunited. You're speaking about Jesus and
I'm sure there's millions of angels up there up there and
having to say, wow, great. It's what I want.
And you know, this is what we want.
We want to be able to give the word to people and more.

(25:48):
I think which to me just this that there, I think that the
younger generation is the one that is the most health, you
know, and seen all the generations, you know, and the
younger generation now needs themost power and we need to be the
ones to be able to do this, you know, and if we're not, we're

(26:10):
going to lose them. And you know, we're we're all
responsible for it. I think just only outside, we're
all responsible for that. We're all responsible for that
and it's just scary. I, I go like it's the states
while it's advanced and mostly what I see is a lot of 25302827.

(26:33):
I mean, $2,000,000 Gods and $2,000,000 Ferrari.
It's the normal thing and it's not.
So I know it's not going on. I know this season, I don't
know, but that is what's blank today.
All the social media, you know, with all the disease happening,
that's the scary part, you know, and and we need to do as much as

(26:54):
possible to try to change the minds.
Listen, if we're able to change one mind every day, just one
mind, just one person to go to Christ person to say, you know,
Jesus, except just my savior. I've sent it up a simple person,
but I know that you that'll cross for me.
Hey, we've done our job. We've done our job.

(27:15):
You've done your job. You're 24, you're 23.
You're starting early. You're starting a lot earlier
than what I did at my age. You're going to have ministry
with millions of people that youhave stayed.
Now if they look at your successof mine, they might find my
moral answers, but you're much more and that's the way I look

(27:36):
at it now as a matter of how many championships, how many
keeps I get of interrease, how many people I've met, you know
so but you know, God trusts us, you know, and God wants to see
what we do just kind of like that.
I look at racing, believe it or not, it is similates a lot with
the path of Jesus Christ becausewe as drivers are alone.

(28:01):
Jesus is alone. When he died of that cross, he
had nobody. We go through verses.
Jesus went through a lot of verses.
He had his applause to run him. We have our team around the
opus, but we're still alone. And if we fall, which we fall a
lot, you just got to learn how to fit up.

(28:22):
Just get up and get up. And with Jesus, believe it or
not, it's so much easier than being alone.
Being alone without having Jesus, it's almost impossible.
So, you know, it's my pleasure to spend my time with you guys
and you know, sure, this is my lips podcast I've probably done

(28:44):
in a while, but you know, it's worth it's worth it.
I've seen 100. Percent you mentioned, you know,
just changing one mind. Well, you know, the Bible says
that heaven rejoices when one comes back to Christ.
All of heaven rejoices when when11 sheep is found, the lost
sheep is found more so than 99 righteous.
So definitely, definitely we're,we're, we're looking for that

(29:06):
one sheep all the time to come to Christ so we can rejoice with
them. And, you know, I, I love what
you said and I think it's beautiful perspective to say,
you know, that our mission is, is very important because I, I
believe it is as well. We do have a lot of young
listeners and I think a lot of young male listeners that have a
lot of ambition. So what would be your advice to

(29:26):
them? I think in, yeah, spiritual
context, but also in a business context, you've found a lot of
success in life. And you know, as a young man
myself, well, not as young as Simon, of course.
I wouldn't call you young, but. OK, well anyway, as we were
saying like of course I have my dreams and ambitions and I want
to look after my family and and make sure we live a really nice

(29:49):
life at the same time keeping God in focus.
So what would be your advice on a business level like in terms
of how to be successful career wise?
And then also try and make sure that we please God too.
Well, just not quit. Not quit, not quit on God not

(30:09):
quit on your dreams not quit youfail.
Keep on make sure that that you have one of these those fights
because this this is this is thethis is the instructions that
any problem that you have in your mind.
This is just going to help get out of any problem, any problem.
Yes. Is that what it for?

(30:32):
And just the person, the person every day, every day is a
battle. Everybody's battled me, trusted
to get the three-point, you know, the close turn.
And I've fixed about a month anda half again, again about a
month like that. It's been the most difficult
month of my life. I mean, what I mean by that is

(30:56):
that I've had old girlfriends call me, I've got old friends
say, hey man, I want to if you think much, invest in this.
I've had what we need to say, hey, let's go to the casinos,
Let's go here. I've got we'll say, hey, let's
go to strip. So many things that happen me
that I understand the devil can't kick.
The devil will never take control of my life nor my heart

(31:20):
and my spirit because that is fast.
So he knows he cannot control that.
But what what does he try to control everything around me to
go and be a disaster so I can worry about those links, stress
about those, and not worry so much about the cross and not be
with you guys thinking about theworld.
So that's exactly what the enemywants.

(31:42):
The enemy wants to weaken you. When you say I'm legitimate to
the show or to the podcast, that's not a coincidence.
That's probably true because this is what the enemy wants.
The enemy wants to make this week.
Now, when the enemy says, hey, Icannot consult the Angel of
Brana, he's a talent of God. But I'm going to do everything I

(32:05):
can to try to be in his mind constantly about, does this
really work? The cross doesn't really mean
that much. Yeah, OK.
You got him a Rob, you know, yougot the the good Jesus.
That's it in you and you got theother stuff that's isn't really
that important. Do you really needed to beat it

(32:27):
on? And you know, you've got to
trust this God. You got to trust that he is
right. God will never make a mistake
with you. God will move both of you to do
doing this. You both can be doing right now
a show about I got a show calledPhoenix Live.
We talk about Formula One. It's what we do with ESPN and we

(32:48):
spend 14 hours talking about racism.
You probably would have 25,000 subscribers immediately.
It's probably even popular than what you're doing.
But you know something what you're doing and you go to sleep
at night. Yeah, that heart just feels so
much better. Not all the time because we go

(33:10):
through, you know, our life. Second marathon, I got good
duties, I got, I got grief that this works 1000% and nothing can
move me. And then I got these.
That's trembling. That's the way life is.
And we have to understand that unless we understand, unless we
understand that we're in a everyday we wake up, believe it or

(33:30):
not, we're in a war, we're in a war, we're at a war.
It's kind of like me racing. We're out of war and the devil
wants to do everything, destroy you to make traffic.
You know, I'm a little little thing of being a racist car
driver. If I said to you, do you
consider myself being very patient or very impatient?

(33:53):
This is the question I asked for.
What would be the answer? Impatient in your old days?
Patient. Now we cannot believe that is
100. So when I'm in a life or I'm
someone, I see a guy who's free man, you want to hunt that for
this. This is just flame and I'm going

(34:15):
to no doubt and it and it works and it works, which pretty it
works and I don't do it. So man, I'm in basic and I ask
God every day just give me facial story to my faces, man.
He has made it from times 100 * 10 to just going slow and I know

(34:35):
that he's going to be the winner.
He's going to win. He's already won.
The devil's lost weight. He knows that he can try to
weaken us. But every day that we do this,
every day that they go out, you speak twin out and you speak to
somebody that has that fervent healing about Jesus society.
He can't fake. One of the things I'll ask is he

(34:56):
cannot fake this, you know, because I'll say, well, you're
fake it. You can't, it is impossible to
fake you if you look down or if you don't, you can't fake it.
You can't fake this. You can't fake the things that
have happened in your life. Can't happen.
So right away, another thing that sometimes lately in the
last few months, kind of like a like I see somebody walk in and

(35:20):
I kind of know something, shave something going on.
I don't know. It's just like you start
changing, you know, and, and I think that's all because God
wants a mission for you and God wants to do something which is
so much more grander there. I mean, I know there's just so
much something much more bigger for me in all these raises or
championships or my businesses or anything that I've done.

(35:43):
Now you ask the questions that Ididn't answer about the success
of, you know, how does it go? Can you make a lot of money in
your businesses that still beingas Christ can?
Yes, absolutely. When you have that rise, you're
going to make money either way. I think you have that to lie
now. It depends too much you want to

(36:05):
spend on that drive since peoplespend 9949% of their life just
in your distance. And I realized that our life
just looked like A and I mean a piece of pie.
I don't know if you guys saw piece of pie, you should have 8
pieces divided maybe 10. And what I mean by that you're
supposed to have Jesus, family, work, working out, friends,

(36:29):
just, you know, variety things. Some people have 99% work, 80%
just chosen. Your life's not going to be
successful if you have your eye in my pie.
Believe it or not, nowadays it's63% Jesus I'm happy with.

(36:50):
And then I have eight quarters of worked out my business, my
companies, my employees and I try to have that divided into
50%. And as time goes by, believe it
or not, as I did older, that 50%grows more and more and more on
Jesus's heart. And everything else needs less
sports. So for someone that's younger,

(37:14):
what could you do? Do what your heart tells you to
do. Do what your call tells you,
don't be sure to be successful making money and say hey, I'm
killed because really I should be this and the Lord is the only
Jesus. No, the Lord wants to be
successful, but the Lord wants to be.
The Lord wants to make sure thatyou have him first and then he

(37:38):
says I'm stuck. I guess that's the best way that
I can explain into a 20 year oldor 25 year old.
Look at the Lord 1st and everything else has fall in the
course. You know, it's interesting you
made the analogy with the the pizza pie because in our one of
our previous episodes with Father Anthony and Father

(37:59):
Elijah, Father Anthony brought up this concept of life is being
like a pie. And he said, you know, you like
you said, divide it into certainpieces, but he actually said
something really special. He said, you know, what Jesus
should be is not just a segment.Jesus should be the feeling.
So in every face, in every piece, there should be, if you

(38:21):
have a family segment, if you have a work segment, Jesus is
actually in there. So everything you do, you do to
the Lord, whether it's business,whether it's work, whether it's
family, whether it's going to the gym.
So I think that's a beautiful analogy and a beautiful concept
to try and say like Jesus isn't.Either way, thank you for
helping me change my pizza now because my pizza now has a
different view. If you're absolutely right, I'm

(38:43):
getting to that anyway. I, I never thought of it that
this is every part of that pie. And if we have them in every
part of that pie, we'll be fine. And you made a great analogy and
a great point. And, and that's how, you know,
it's incredible how we can help each other.
You know, what if my mind might make sense this way.
And within a 20 seconds, my ideawas changed.

(39:06):
And what you said was, it's absolutely just clear.
That's the whole point of me telling you when you got Christ
inside you. So make things clear.
So immediately, it's not like, Oh no, my ego, No, no, the only
thing immediately you're doing it wrong.
So thank you for that. My plan has definitely changed.
And you're right. Jesus would be in every part of

(39:29):
that five, you know, and that's what and that's what we should
strive for, you know, and and that's the the beautiful.
Thing I think also you mentioned, you know, as you get
closer to God, all the challenges come up and you know,
the last month and 1/2 has been more difficult for you because
you've been getting closer to God.
I think we should as a litmus test, know that if you're on the

(39:51):
right track when things get hardand I think a lot of times
people may be deterred and they say, oh, well, it's, it's hard
now. I'll just, I'll jump off.
But actually you should take it as a message, hey.
Things are going hard now. Why?
It's because I'm trying to get closer to God.
The devil's trying to pull me away.
And we've noticed this in our podcast.
Every time we we, we make strides and, and steps to to

(40:12):
grow the podcast, get great guests.
There's always something, you know, that wants to stop us.
So one step. Forward to step.
Yeah, but we know that means we're on the right track.
So I think that's a very, very beautiful thing to take away
from it. Absolutely, absolutely.
Yep, Yep, absolutely. That's true 100%.
I see that in my life of the guythat, you know, taking you feel

(40:34):
you're going in the right direction and then just
something pops up and then and, and, and, you know, it's all,
believe it or not, it's all in the mind.
I mean, if you really think about it, it's basically all in
the mind, you know, and the few things that we need to do is
having a revival close to us. For me this to try to get closer

(40:57):
so we don't stumble. We will all stumble every single
day. And listen myself as well as
both youths, even those guys. See my two guys that have never
seen in your life, but I would tell you, you will send it.
Yes, Sophie and I will tell you, you'll fall again and I will
tell you that it's going to happen over and over again.

(41:17):
And they're going to have time because they're not going to
understand and you're not going to hit the podcast.
But as long as you keep Jesus asyour focus and, and, and I love
that analogy now that you give when you know about the pizza
and having in every part of thatpizza, because it makes so much
more sense to me now. You know, it's, it's just great
to, to, to be able to share and it's great to be able to share

(41:42):
things with other people who have sometimes I stay in, in,
in, in Instagram, I have the, a saying that it's a long row.
It's a lonely road and a lot of people don't understand it.
But when you have people that dounderstand that have that by our
side, you feel a little bit better, you know, you feel a

(42:02):
little bit better, even though. So this is a journey for us, you
know, and this is not a threat, you know, be the follower of
Jesus. It's America, it's America.
You know, it's a 40 year, you know what the Israelis have to
do, You know the desert, you know, it's just the, it's just
you have to do it. You know, even though I struggle

(42:24):
with what I really do and I keepcoming and tell people, you
know, the young people, is it going to be easy?
No, it's difficult. It's difficult for a guy who's
done it all. He's met everyone, been
everywhere. I've done everything and it's
difficult. And I know that even though it's
difficult and even though I wantto take it off my chest or off

(42:47):
my back, I got to walk this because there's no other
choices, even though it's nothing that's funny for the way
he just has people do things just like the people that you
weeks give me away, God will have people do things and get me
closer. So you know that thank God much

(43:07):
stronger. And that's how you know also do
getting closer to the Lord because the enemy starts losing
his power, but you start gettingcloser to the Lord.
You start doing little things that seem not so important.
The you know, the Bible rose wasthe point of thing, but we
started talking about the Lord and and and just praise him
always and and thanking him and waking up at 5:00 in the morning

(43:29):
was night time saying God, thankyou for giving me.
It's just, it's just it's an amazing thing and you're
praising him that makes you stronger and that meets the
enemy of the devil home. So that's that's what we needed
to strike for every single day. And you're right, you don't, we
don't need to do it alone. And even Jesus plan is that we
don't do it alone. Even with the disciples.

(43:50):
He sent them out two by two by design, not not by accident.
He he doesn't want us to do thisjourney alone.
That's why going to church and having a good community, having
good brotherhood, having good family in Christ and being one
body in Christ is very importantbecause Jesus's plan is that we
don't do this alone. And we all, when one falls, the
other lifts other up. And that was his plan with the

(44:11):
even the disciples who would be,you know, the holiest of the
holy, you know, he wanted them to be two by two.
Absolutely. Now let me ask you a question.
It's a question that I'm not struggling with because I feel
extremely happy where I'm at. I was put up all this holy
Catholic and I've been going to Saint Jude Orthodox Church

(44:33):
Catholic for close to about 30 first years.
Very similar, a little bit different, just the way it will
be, the mask, the posters done. What is your view about that?
What do you think? Is there a difference?
Is there a difference that follows Roman Catholic?

(44:55):
Is there Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Do you view it as
something that's different, something that they need to
learn or something that we need to change?
And I want to be in your view and and and there's no answer
testing for a. Look, I, I, I think I honestly
believe any Apostolic Church, which is a church that started

(45:15):
by an Apostolic father is the best way to go because we want
to do Christianity the way the early church was, the way Jesus
intended. And I think where, where I see,
as much as I love our Protestantbrothers and sisters and I love
every Christian, I, I feel that if you want the richness of
Christ, definitely an Apostolic Church with when you have one of
the disciples that are at the head with the Roman Church,

(45:37):
it's, you know, Saint Peter's, the head with our Egyptian
Orthodox Church, St. Mark was the one that instituted
it. So as long as you have an
Apostolic head of that church that started that church, I
think you're on the right track because we agree on 99.9% of
everything. Catholic and Orthodox are very,
very close. The the differences are minute
and they have some theological implications from my

(46:00):
understanding, which is again, very weak understanding.
We actually have a guest coming up called the Voice of Reason.
His name's Alex and he's actually very big Catholic and
we're going to have him on the show soon.
And we're going to talk about this a little bit in depth about
Orthodox and, and Catholic in particular.
But from my understanding, the three big points of difference

(46:21):
is infallibility of the Pope. The Catholics believe in
infallibility of the Pope. So when he's on the pulpit and
he's giving a sermon, he can't say anything wrong wrong.
So that is different. In the Orthodox Church, we don't
believe the Pope is infallible. We actually have a Holy Senate
that supports the Pope, and it'sa group of people that make
decisions and not just the Pope on his own.

(46:42):
The other thing is in the NiceneCreed, the Catholic Church say
that the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son we
say proceeds only from the Father.
That is very deep theological implication in terms of the
Trinity and the identity of the Trinity.
So that's, again, I don't know how much impact it will have on
somebody's faith, but in my eyes, I think it's just more of
a theological concept of the Trinity.

(47:03):
And then the biggest one betweenCatholic and Orthodox, which I
think had probably the biggest divider, is the concept of
purgatory. So the Catholics believe that,
you know, when we die, we go basically to a place where
you're more purified so you can become worthy of entering
heaven. And in the Orthodox Church, we
don't see that view. Actually in the Orthodox Church,

(47:25):
it kind of takes away from the atonement of Christ, takes away
from the fact that, you know, Christ died for us and his
sacrifice was whole and completeenough that when we die, we can
either, you know, go to paradiseor go to Hades.
So that is the biggest differences.
Again, I don't believe that it is enough for anyone to say, you

(47:45):
know, this is right, this is wrong.
I think we all, you know, believe in the sacraments,
believe in Holy Communion, we believe in the Eucharist, which
is I think one of the most founding things in the Church
is, is the Holy Eucharist because that's how we become one
body in Christ and that's what Christ tells us to do.
So as long as you have an Apostolic Father, as you know,
one of the apostles being the head of the Church, I think
you're definitely on the right track, whether it's Catholic or

(48:06):
Orthodox. And then those minor differences
I don't think have a massive implication on our lives.
Simon, what are your thoughts? I think George Eliquot did
everything perfectly. To be honest with you.
I should have answered first, but no exactly what he said.
There's there are some minute differences.
However, overall I think I thinkhe summed it up pretty perfectly
in terms of what the slight differences are.

(48:28):
But I mean, that's when you're sort of being picky.
With everything as well. Yeah.
And the reason why I say that isbecause at least in the States,
you know, there's a huge room tocalculate on population.
And that's that's the little part sometimes about religion

(48:50):
that I don't mind that they try to those little things to try to
take out and they try to make ita big deal.
Smile, right. And I and I feel so much more
comfortable and again, as what awoman Catholic, I feel so much
more comfortable in an Orthodox Church because I think, and this
is true to me, again, my opinion, my humble opinion, how

(49:12):
can Jesus die in that Bronx in beauty?
It's light for us, shed blood for us.
And then the Roman Catholic say, well, we need to go to a place
of your power set. No, I believe in Jesus, what he
did for us. He purified everything for us.

(49:35):
He's denied the way she died. And again, and because I don't
want to, he sold any Catholics. Of course, I was brought up
Catholic, but that was my view. And again, that was just kind of
like my walk with the years and years and years, but just trying
different things. And I didn't try so many
different things. It was just Roman Catholic and
going to Saint Jude and, and allthe things that happened to me

(49:58):
when I was younger and I kind ofput 2 + 2 and I'm like, this is
my home. This is where I should be.
And at the end of the day, it's just, you know, what you said is
beautiful. What you said is beautiful.
And you made it so perfectly. And I get asked this all the
time, you know, why is there such a difference between this

(50:18):
and this? And I'm like, this really isn't
a big difference. I mean we both are believing in
Christ. You know I believe in a better
firm if it is correct that Orthodox does not give the blood
of Christ the body, because whenI do it when I go to order the
comedian, they normally just give me the body enough to the

(50:39):
blood of. Course, so I don't know.
We get both in In the Coptic Orthodox Church we have this.
Involved. I think Catholics as well, they
only give the the the body and Ithink the the blood isn't for
everyone as well. I think it's just for the
people. Also with something.
But we do body and blood actually, yeah, throughout, even

(50:59):
babies when they're when they'renot able to to we, the priest
gives it with a spoon. If the baby is not able to take
the spoon, he actually dips his finger in the blood and just
taps it on their tongue. So we actually get a little
piece of body, a little piece ofbread and, and even just a drop
of blood. So I think that's, yeah, that's
what we do. Again, I think as long as you

(51:20):
have the belief that the Eucharist, whether you take just
the body or the body and the blood, as long as you believe
that that is Christ, then I think then you're on the right
track. Because Christ made it very
clear in John chapter 6 that this is his body indeed, and
this is his blood indeed. And he who eats his body and
drinks his blood will abide in me and I in him, and you'll have
life in you. So I think as long as you have

(51:40):
that belief and you have an Apostolic Church that carries
out the sacrament with those some traditions in order to
institute it, institute it as body and blood, I think you're
on the right track. Well, you know, it might.
I'm always bad. I wanted to tell you that
there's a Chapel that came up and it said when am I going to
bring my two friends from Australia to an outbound race in
my so it's here. So he I didn't get I got to he

(52:04):
has you guys because he knows here and you know, unless I get
it from you guys, I don't know who you're going to be here, but
you definitely deserve. Guys are great guys.
Guys have a great in Boeing there anytime you'll be a part
of it. I will.
I will get ready Moss, ready Moss when I'll get it.
The other show, you know. You told us you've been to 58

(52:26):
countries but you haven't been to Australia yet, so definitely
it's due. If I could say something,
Andrew, just quickly from this conversation and having the
pleasure of meeting you, I can definitely deduce from this
conversation that as you obviously stated before, you are
a very, very ambitious person. You always want the best of
everything. But I feel as though what God

(52:49):
has done, and it's no coincidence, is that he has
given you everything and allowedyou to experience a piece of
every single thing in this world.
And after you retired, after youfinished up with politics,
you're always still chasing thatbig rush, that big, that big
next thing. And I think the most important
thing you've realized is God is the only big thing in your life.

(53:11):
And that is something that you're going to have for the
entirety of your life. And the mission that you have as
well as us is to keep, keep telling people about the, the
beauty and glory of God. And that's the most important
thing. That's one thing I feel like
I've taken away from this conversation.
You can 100%, absolutely. I think God's giving you a lot

(53:33):
of money that I deserve a lot ofmy consent, I'm assuming.
And the last two years I've beenprobably that was 53 years of my
life, you know, for many reasons, leaving racing after
2017 years kind of like being oncocaine for 25 years and just be

(53:58):
take it off to getting from. Yeah, it's.
Just easy that looking at when they stop.
And that's the thought we did rather than it's just something
not even basketball player or baseball players go on, you got
350 kilometers an hour, 3 hours. It's not a norm for inning as
well. I have reps this, I have four or
five reps with this. His back in my neck broke the

(54:19):
bones in both arms 2 dislocated right and left were dislocated.
It was often raised and I and I had to have tissue for my body
or for my lower back for for pain.
In 2005 the attacks had happenedand I didn't want to the doctor

(54:40):
said look, you'd be in bed written for six months and I've
been doing what they call they do blockages, blockages.
They put in sleep, they put epidural steroids.
They just put every drug in yourback.
So Riveter, just walk and believe it or not, I've been 20
years without putting in surgeonworking out and I feel better
today than I ever felt with no pain in my back.

(55:03):
And this is just you did the race start?
Is the road difficult? Yes.
Are we going to have trials? Get in there.
Absolutely a million people have, but we just got to keep
on. Every time you fall, just get up
every time you fall, just get up.
Just part of racing, part of life, you know, and there's so
many, like I told you some malaria racing and life, you

(55:24):
know, and, and how God wants us to live our life, you know, and,
and that's what it is, you know, and there's just nothing better
that's ever happened to me, believe it or not.
Then when God set my turn, I'm taking over and there's nothing
I just, I can't explain to you that moment or the time.

(55:44):
Well, I kind of can because I remember the time and moment,
but it was something that at that time, I didn't know it was
happening. And then after a week, so then
after a month, I felt so guilty about every little thing that I
did, every little thing that I itched, drinking alcohol, just
going on, lying. My friend would send me a

(56:06):
picture of throwing a bikini. Just little things that made me
feel like, what am I doing? And I'm like, what's wrong?
And these are the little things that God just wants put inside
of me saying hey, hey, hey, I'm in control now.
And I didn't like him. So this is back three years ago.
I didn't like him. Did I adapt to it?

(56:29):
Absolutely wife still falls a little thing absolutely.
Does this help me 1000% absolutely and I tell anybody
out there meta worming you're having a problem with this is
just you know, drugs pornographybeing on the phone too much

(56:51):
drinking, beating your styles fighting just so many things
believe me squirt this trustee. It works it works it works.
You don't have to have it like just a little wooden.
You know $5. Some girls want to like little
gold brace with a little cross here they can just to have it
touch on and why I stayed at it because I was laughing about the

(57:14):
car when I'm driving my floor for whatever I want to honk.
But when I honk this goes up here and I saw I hadn't and I
haven't honked this. I haven't honked.
It's amazing. It's done work, it's practical.
It was practical. I kind of leave you with that.
You guys, you guys have been great.
You know, you guys have been great.
You know, it's been a really a really good, you know, time for

(57:38):
me to be able to spare just kindof open up.
You know, I'm not one race race starter early.
Don't open up. We don't lay down and this is
something that I have no issues.I have no worries.
I have no, I unfortunately beingan athlete, you know, being in
the field of being an artist, being an actor, they're very

(58:03):
concerned about opening up. And I can tell you names of
actors that have opened up and lost 95% about more like their
move slips, believe it or not. Yeah.
Something crazy, crazy. I have people in the White House
that have opened up with their faith and have lost jobs,
staffers. I mean, just stuff that you'd be

(58:25):
like, no, no, no. And this is kind of like a
taboo. No one wants that, right?
So when you ask her the questionhow difficult it was, it was an
easy decision. I mean, I want to be with people
that I don't feel comfortable with.
And you I want to be on my own solo with God that I know that
he has the answers. I'd rather be with my God.
I know he has the answer. Now is every day difficult?

(58:46):
It is. Do I have doubt every day that
what I want to do is not going to happen?
Yes, I love do I feel weak and do I feel tempted and do I feel
sometimes stressed out? Absolutely every single that I
feel those things. They're human things and I think
God when he was here felt the same thing and he lived here and

(59:08):
he felt all the things that we feel.
I mean, our fears, you know, everything that we feel, he
felt. And I feel that every day you're
talking about, you look at me, you might look, it's funny
because I say you look at Instagram, you look at
everything that people have now with TikTok and everything like
that, millions of followers and you look at the persona as well.

(59:32):
This guy's got all straight and I can tell you 9 that's going to
be, it's not all straight. If it wasn't forgot he's got the
99% that means straight that it's not me.
So you might have an outlook, but you might seem a certain
way, but there's a reality and I'd rather Live Today in that

(59:52):
reality. What you guys do every day at
your young age, man, let me tellyou, I wish I would have done,
you know, again, when back when I was raised, there was Beavers.
I don't know if you've ever heard about those.
There was little these called Beavers, though, this morning.
I've ever happened. But, you know, it was a little
bit different, you know, than itis now.

(01:00:12):
But now there's so many ways that you can just make this and
just tell the people how, man, Iremember Kobe Bryant saying
this, and he's dating me so manyyears, you know, after eating up
in the diet. You know, God is great, you
know, and all, all my stuff thatI write, I put God is great.

(01:00:33):
He's just great. I mean, and they asked him why
and he said, I can't explain it to you.
And I know Kobe thought that, you know, and then I mean, you
know, 4-5 years later you have the other author accident and he
passed away and stuff like that.I, I know for a fact 1 you have
to 100%. I think Kobe Bryant's from the
Lord not 100% yet he was one of the wealthiest person that could
be united to say well, you know, there's at least it's easier for

(01:00:56):
a camel or what is it a camel togo to a needle than rich Ben to
go to Kobe Bryant is in heaven. Kobe Bryant is in heaven.
He believed in Jesus and he justsaid God is great and when you
know that he says it in that way, you can tell in his eyes he
meant I know that he so does Godwant to eat or eat false whisk

(01:01:17):
for all those young people? Absolutely just do it with God
be and I always said God is my full pilot.
I told Rogers now just and you know, they you know, they're
like, well, there's only one seat.
I was like, just listen to me. Half dot is your copilot.
He's next few and whatever decision you make that into your
profile and that's what we have to be.

(01:01:38):
Let God be your copilot. I don't care what you do.
I don't care what we're about. I don't care what you do.
If he's your copilot, you'll be gone.
So when it's all said and done, Andrew, when you stand before
God, what do you hope that he says to you?
Well, what a great question thatI was a wizard or that I never

(01:02:05):
ever denied it. I've never I've never denied it
that I'm a Sinner and I know that I'm a Sinner and I I you
know, God is such a it's just, you know, they said that you
look at God may be blinded, but I as a Sinner believe that if I

(01:02:26):
can make it a Kevin, anybody canmake it a Kevin.
I believe you when I tell you that anybody could be into how
to just better be, you know, andI just want that to say, Hey, do
you know, I'm proud of you. You did what I wanted did maybe
a little bit late. You know, God has everyone has

(01:02:49):
their time and I want to say another story and I know you
guys want to ask them some questions.
I want to say the stories because these stories that I've,
the stories that I've worked for, three stories that I've
gone through. There was a 45 year old priest.
I had an ass in Saint Jude. He came from Israel and he was

(01:03:12):
saying his father's atheist. They just lost us 74 decided
that the hospital and they called them They said that's
very sick, please stop and he left my admin he arrived believe
the 24 hours she is well walkingup.

(01:03:33):
He asked that you know so and so's son.
My father was here in the area and the nurse said he passed
away that design. Now imagine a priest, the
feeling of priest thinking I couldn't save my ball, Like,
where was my father today? And while he's walking, he sees

(01:03:54):
a priest walking out, and he's like, you know, sewing storms in
my hand. Yeah.
I was with your father last night.
We had a few talks for about oneor two hours.
I gave him only communion, and he gave his life the prize.
And he packed away with only my hand and the second.

(01:04:15):
So what I'm saying is it's. Never too.
Loud has a time for all of we just don't know when that's 5
minutes as long as you keep yourheart open and you know this was
Brian. This was Brian drew the masks
and it touched all of us becauseit shows the mercy of thou.
Even though father was an atheist, his soul light, but God

(01:04:39):
knows what he's doing and all the prayers that were coming
from the sun. I believe all the prayers, all
the prayers, all the prayers. Please Dad, please father,
change my dad's heart, Sophomo'sheart and the preset.
He was a character. He said off Ryan was his son
that you know her son. He knew that there was always a

(01:05:00):
God. He was trying to do him a hard
time and that he would do anything to make and to be part
of God and be God's family. And that to me is in your last
whisper of your last second of breathe.
You still got a chance. You still have a chance.
You don't have to worry about I've done this, not done that.

(01:05:22):
It's too late. It's never too late.
And the priest made a point thatyou could have 5 seconds of life
and he says Jesus, I'll make youmy Lord and Savior.
Please, please, please forgive me my sins.
I know you got across such a into that thing.
You'll be saved. You will be saved.

(01:05:44):
I believe my God was Satan. So, you know, I leave it with
that story because that's one ofthe one of the the ones that
kind of changed the way I thought about things stuff and
and and God is great. You know, God is great and the
if you keep on saying that and more people keep on hearing that

(01:06:06):
they're going to keep on repeating, it's just like that.
It's just, you know, it's one phenomenal thing.
One would say it and another will say it and you know, it
won't stop and you guys keep on doing, you know, Thank.
Thank you so much, Andrew. We're going to we're going to
leave you with our final question that we ask all of our
guests. I hope you've had a look at it,

(01:06:26):
but with a person that's lived alife like yours, I'm actually
looking forward to asking this. What does it mean to be the salt
of the earth? And how can some someone become
the salt of the earth? What is the need to be the salt
of the earth? You know, I think God is the

(01:06:50):
salt as is it tastes like stone. If you're a dark word
constantly, you're going to taste that taste of salt.
You're going to taste the, the, the, the taste of what God
wanted to be salt over the earth, which is US ministering
God's word. And I believe that if you stay

(01:07:13):
away from that, the salt will not taste like salt anyway or
just start tasting like anythinglike it tastes like blah.
So being the salt of the earth, I think our ministry is what we
need to do every single day. Talking about Jesus Christ,
talking about what he did for us, how he died on that cross

(01:07:34):
for our sins, that seems the salt of the earth.
Many of us lose and we go our own way and that is what makes
us lose. I believe in my humble opinion.
You asked questions. That's something I know first.
That's something that I've that I've read lately, but I think
that we start losing that Herbert or side and that we

(01:07:58):
cannot, it's like a little, it'slike a light and we cannot let
let lights or not. That light has to be always on.
And and that's what I think is to be the salt and and and we're
basically kind of like, how can I put it?
And I think the saltine crackershave the saltine on them.

(01:08:19):
But if you were to take the saltine off, you just take like
a slang cracker and, and I thinkthat pick that off our lives or
just plan or just, or just we'rejust, we're living a life that's
just kind of like a routine. It's kind of like those chains

(01:08:40):
that we live with. It's a routine that we live and
our life goes and sometimes it goes if we're eight years old
and we die and then, you know, we, we unfortunately go to
Hades, you know, and, and sadly enough, it's that because it
doesn't take too much to come toChrist, it does not pay.

(01:09:02):
There's people like you and me that we might want to fix that
it might do want to do more things, but really does not pay
even for the atheist much to come to Christ.
You know, she's got to give you a heart to kill.
Except if he lifts all the children he lifts all of us.
He I would imagine Jesus crying every since they seeing the

(01:09:23):
millions and millions of people that he needs to stay with that
just you know are not so you know.
Thank you so much, Andrew. It has been a very fruitful
conversation. We're so happy and so blessed to
have met you and so thankful that you reached out to us.
And I think this conversation isgoing to help, you know,
thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people, God

(01:09:44):
willing, you know, listening to this.
One thing that I ask, please, please, I'm not telling you
anything, but please just works.Does that work?
So you know anyone that you could tell them to just get a
froth, you know, it can be a beautiful froth.
It could make one, but this works.
You know, this is something thatyou know, even if you guys want

(01:10:05):
to say hey and you send me a fewthousand, I'll be more than
happy to do that. I like to hear the people you
give it to, the people that intoyour podcast.
That's how important it is to me.
You know, a lot of come from theheroes that come from different
places and but it does work. It does work.

(01:10:25):
And you know, if we can change one, like I said, what's sheep
one suit that we can help come to the Lord, you know, out of
the night night. You know, we're doing our job.
I know and and I think we can doa lot better than one.
Again, I don't one is 1 and foreign.
I think you'll love that. Of course, and next time, if we
ever come down to America or youcome down to Australia, happy to

(01:10:47):
happy to go again with you. OK.
It's been an absolute pleasure. Thank you so much for the
listen, Bala. God bless you.
Thank you.
