Welcome to the Soul Alchemist podcast with Catherine Maguire.  In this episode I share a personal story about been ‘tempered by the fire’ during my shamanic training.  My desire to connect to an ancient lineage had taken me all the way to Canyon de Chelly in Arizona where instead of having a spiritual awakening I clashed with my Navajo guide, had a nasty allergic reaction to an insect bite followed by the worst case of Thrust I've ever had in my whole life.

The experience while emotionally and physically painful was ultimately transformative. And it prompted me to return to Ireland to find what I’d been looking for in the land of my birth and to reconnect to the gold within myself.
