What if love and suffering weren’t opposites, but secret partners on the path to awakening? In this conversation, Zach Beach—yoga teacher, poet, therapist, and author of Love and Suffering: A Spiritual Guide for Helpers, Healers, and Humans—shares why love and suffering go hand in hand and how suffering (something we all don’t want for ourselves!) is the soil of transformation. We explore the teachings and personal sacrifices of the mystics, the paradoxes of God, why our deepest wounds surface in relationships, and the antidote to our nonstop thinking. This episode is an invitation to see suffering as sacred, love as universal, and every being as worthy of compassion. You’ll discover the path to stillness in a noisy, divided world and how this very moment is a gateway to awakening.
