Episode 20 | Released: 19th May 2025

Welcome back to the Twin Elements Podcast.

In this episode we report on our last week of hunting the 2025 rut and roar period. With March and April having run its course we shifted from roaring reds to fallow deer.

If you missed the last couple of episodes, jump back and revisit the Red Deer Camp Part 1 & 2 and our final red roar report where we hunted in South East Queensland and various parts of NSW Australia in search of red deer stags.

We had three epic encounters on red deer stags over that adventure and each of the last three podcasts revisits the successful hunts.

In today’s episode Join James and Nick Doumtsis as they recap a great week in the hills hunting fallow deer towards the tail end of the rut.

They also come across a few handy boars and billies which adds to the excitement.

If you have wondered how we gain access or approach the topic, then listen in as James also discusses some of his strategies to finding new hunting grounds which he implemented pre rut.
