Sharon Palmer, MS, RD—widely known as “The Plant-Powered Dietitian”—is a registered dietitian, author, and nutrition journalist with two decades of experience translating nutrition science into everyday meals. Raised with farm-to-table roots and trained at Loma Linda University, she also earned a master’s in sustainable food systems, connecting personal health with food-system impact. Sharon is co-founder of Food + Planet, a non-profit equipping health professionals to advance sustainable eating patterns. She develops approachable, budget-friendly recipes and evidence-based guides at SharonPalmer.com and shares daily tips at @SharonPalmerRD. Her books include titles on plant-based eating, such as the recently referenced The Plant-Powered Plan to Beat Diabetes.
