“Well done, good and faithful servant” - we all want to hear that at the last day, when our Lord returns, and for good reason. We are used to being comforted by this familiar line of scripture at funerals we attend. But what does the parable from which it comes say? What does Jesus Christ tell us about how we should or shouldn’t use the gifts we have been given? And what happens if we fail to do so?
