Yo, Yo, Yo, what it do, y'all? Welcome back to another episode of TWT Talks with Texas. Today, we're going to be diving deep into the mind and the power it holds. We're going to break down some wisdom from the legendary Napoleon Hill and his book, How to Own Your Own Mind. So grab your notebooks, folks, and let's get this knowledge.

All right, y'all, let's start with the basics. Positive thinking. We've all heard it before, but do we really understand its impact? Napoleon Hill says it's like a magnet. A positive attitude is like a magnet that attracts good things into your life. When you're positive, you're more likely to see opportunities where others see obstacles. You're more resilient, creative, and successful.

My man Napoleon Hill also said negative thoughts are like weeds that can choke out your garden of potential. Negative thoughts can hinder you from achieving your goals or opportunities. You can't just be talking down or doubting yourself. You do have the time and you can do it. Yes, you can.

Next, let's talk about the laws of attraction. The concept is all about like attracts like. If you're always complaining and being negative, you'll attract more negative things. But if you're positive and grateful, you'll attract positive things and experiences. Align your thoughts, feelings, and actions with what you want to achieve, and the universe will conspire to help make it happen.

Now, let's discuss overcoming negative thoughts. Negative thoughts are part of being human, but the key is not to let them control you. Napoleon Hill talks about the power of self-suggestion. Keep telling yourself positive things over and over again, and you'll believe it, and the world will manifest it for you.

How do we cultivate a positive attitude? It's a journey, not a destination. Practice gratitude, appreciate the good things in your life, and celebrate your small accomplishments. Surround yourself with positivity and positive people who uplift you. Challenge your negative thoughts and take care of yourself by eating healthy, exercising, and getting enough sleep.

Use affirmations and visualize your success. Tell yourself, "I know I can," and put yourself in the position of achieving your goals in your mind. Replace negative thoughts with positive ones. It takes practice, but it's worth it.

Remember, your mind is a powerful tool, and you have to use it wisely. Anytime life feels tough, remember it's not all bad. You're still alive, breathing, and people care about you. Keep pushing forward.

All right, y'all, that's a wrap. We've covered a lot of ground today on the power of your mind and the importance of a positive attitude. Believe in yourself, and you can achieve it. If you can think about it and dream it, then you can achieve it. Go out there and turn your dreams into reality. Peace.

Yo, yo, yo, what it do, y'all? Welcome back to another episode of TWT Talks with Texas.
Today, we're going to be diving deep into the mind and the power it holds.
We're going to break down some wisdom from the legendary Napoleon Hill and his
book, How to Own Your Own Mind.
So grab your notebooks, folks, and let's get this knowledge.
All right, y'all, let's start with the basics. Positive thinking.

(00:23):
We've all heard it before, but do we really understand its impact? impact.
Napoleon Hill says, it's like a magnet. A positive attitude is like a magnet
that attracts good things into your life.
Yeah, man, that's straight up. When you're positive, you're more and more likely
to see opportunities where others see obstacles.
You're more resilient, you're more creative, and you're more successful. It's just like that.

(00:49):
Attracting good things and stuff in your life is about focusing on the bright
side, even when things are getting tough. You remember that saying what you
what you focus on grows. Is that real?
Now, I understand, y'all, but just check it.
Everybody should be thinking about positive thoughts to help manifest good things

(01:10):
in their life or I should say in your life.
You know what I'm saying? It's like positive thinking ain't just about happy go lucky.
It's about training your mind to see opportunities instead of obstacles.
It's about believing in yourself and your own potential.
So the next time you're feeling down, flip that script, y'all.
Focus on the good and watch your world change. I promise you it works.

(01:34):
All right. My man Napoleon Hill also said negative thoughts are like weeds that
can choke out your garden of potential.
Now, he's talking about your negative thoughts can also hinder you from achieving
your goals or opportunities that you see or that you want to achieve in life.
So you can't just be talking down or just shoot yourself in the head like,

(01:55):
well, I should go continue my schooling for this. But then you say,
well, I don't have the time.
I don't have the place for this. Just know you do have the time and you can do it. Yes, you can.
All right, y'all, we're going to switch topics.
This one is going to be called the laws of attraction.
The concept is all about attracts that likes.

(02:17):
Think of it like this. If you're always complaining and being negative,
you're always going to attract more negatively things or negative things in your life.
But if you're positive and grateful, you attract positive things and have more
positive experiences in your life.
It's like your attitude is like a mirror that reflects the way that you treat others.

(02:38):
It's all about aligning your thoughts, feelings and actions with what you want to achieve.
So like when you do that, the universe conspires to help make it happen.
I promise you it just that just the way it is. So I need y'all to start visualizing
your dreams and believe that they're already yours and just believe that the

(03:00):
law of attraction is on your side.
Now, this next topic, y'all, is going to be, you know, a big one for all of us.
It's all about overcoming negative thoughts.
Now, let's get real. Negative thoughts are going to creep up in your head from
time to time. It's part of being human.
But the key is to not let them control you.

(03:23):
My man Napoleon Hill talks about the power of self-suggesting.
Is basically telling your positive self and thoughts and keep telling yourself
over and over again, I'm good.
I can do it. I can do it. Yes, I can. Yes, I can.
It's all about self-suggestion. You just got to tell yourself positive things

(03:48):
over and over again so you'll believe it and you'll go Go ahead and the world
will just manifest it for you.
Now, I know you guys are asking, how do we cultivate a positive attitude?
Well, I'm going to let y'all know now it's a journey and it's not a destination.
But I can give you a few tips to help y'all along the way, just like it helped me.

(04:12):
You know, you can practice gratitude, appreciate the good things in your life.
You know, no matter how small it is, I always like to just, you know,
I always like to celebrate my small accomplishment. because the smaller accomplishment
equal to, you know, bigger ones.
So, you know, I always like to just, you know, celebrate my smaller accomplishment
or just, you know, small things in life.

(04:33):
You also got to surround yourself with positivity and positive people.
You got to spend time with people who uplift you, who lift you up,
who, who just give you a more of a challenge to better yourself and they want to see you do better.
Now, another one is you got to challenge your negative thoughts.

(04:53):
When you have a negative thought, ask yourself, is it really true?
Like, can I not really do this or what's really going on? You know?
And another thing, folks, y'all got to take care of yourself.
You got to eat healthy. You got to exercise and you have to get enough sleep.
You also got to take care of your body, even though it's a vessel,

(05:14):
but you got to I understand.
The better you exercise and you feel,
the more your mind is just more open and you can just overcome a lot of things
by just, you know, taking care of yourself and eating healthy and also working out too.
You know, when you go out there on them walks or just doing things that make

(05:36):
you feel good, you just, you feel better about yourself. I know y'all do.
Now, another Another thing I like to do is I like to use affirmations,
you know, it's like, I know.
When I wake up in the morning and I tell myself, I know I can,
I think I can, and yes, I can, I know I can do it.

(05:58):
But you also have to visualize it.
Visualize yourself, you know, getting that new job or passing, you know, that class.
You have to put yourself into that position in your mind so you go ahead and do it.
The goal is to replace those negative thoughts with positive ones.

(06:19):
I'm telling y'all it takes practice, but it's definitely worth it.
Now, remember, your mind is a powerful tool and you got to use it wisely.
So anytime that you guys feel like it's just going down or or,
you know, stuff in your life ain't happening or just saying it just it just feels like it's all bad.

(06:41):
Remember, it's not all bad. You're still alive.
You're still breathing and other people care about you. So you got to keep on
pushing. Just keep on pushing.
All right, y'all, that's a wrap. We've covered a lot of ground today and the
power of your mind and the importance of a positive attitude.
Remember, it's all about training your mind and focus on the good and believe in yourself.

(07:05):
That's all I want you to do. Believe in yourself and you can achieve it.
If you can think about it and if you can dream it up, then I promise you,
you can achieve it. so go out there and turn your dreams into reality peace.
