Yo, yo, yo, what it do, y'all? Welcome back to another episode of TWT Talks with Texas.
Now, today we're going to be diving deep into the mind of the legendary Napoleon
Hill and his book, How to Own Your Own Mind.
Now, this ain't no self-help BS, folks. This is straight up mind control 101 at its finest.
All right, y'all, we finna dive deep. So let's go.

(00:23):
The power of your mind. Your mind is a powerful tool.
You know what I'm saying? It's like your own personal universe capable of creating
anything you can imagine. But here's the catch, folks.
Most of us are just letting our minds run wild like a stray dog off the leash
or like a chicken with his head cut off.
Now, Napoleon Hill once said the mind is a powerful force capable of creating both heaven and hell.

(00:49):
Now, I don't know about y'all, but like sometimes when I feel like things are
going bad or just just like not going my way, I just keep thinking of more negative
and negative stuff. And then it just keeps on happening.
And then, you know, when things are going good, I just keep on thinking about
good things that make me happy. And I just keep on getting happier and happier.

(01:11):
But guess what, y'all? My man, Napoleon Hill, ain't playing around. round.
He's talking about the power of your subconscious mind, the part that's running 90% of the show.
You got to learn how to control that bad boy if you want to manifest any of your dreams.
And what I'm saying is, is like, you can't harp about negative energy or even negative things.

(01:35):
Like, let's say you wake up in the morning and you stub your toe.
All right. Yeah, you stub your you're told, but you just got to just look past that.
You can't just keep thinking, well, now it's raining outside or now I got a flat tire.
You just got to make the best of every situation and just don't just harp about,
just manifest positive things and then positive things will happen to you. I promise you.

(01:59):
Now, this is one of my favorites, y'all. The mastermind principle.
One of Napoleon Hill's biggest concept is the mastermind principle.
Basically, y'all, it's about teaming up with like-minded individuals to achieve your goals.
Think of it as a supercharged brain of trust. You know what I'm saying? It's like.

(02:20):
When you and your friend have an idea and you guys are working towards it or
you and your coworkers have a project or or something like that,
it's just the more heads that are together, you know, they can achieve more than what one would do.
If you know what I'm saying, two, two minds are better than one. All right.

(02:44):
Now, Napoleon Hill once said this, too. When two or more minds are focused upon
definite purpose with the faith and enthusiasm, they can achieve almost anything they desire.
Now, what he's saying is this, y'all, no matter what it is that you can imagine,
if you put your mind to it and you have somebody with the same enthusiasm and

(03:10):
the same like minded tendencies,
you know, and thinking wavelengths like you, you guys can achieve anything.
And I'm here to tell you that, too, because I promise you, you manifest positive
things, positive things will happen, you know, and if you manifest negative
things, the negative things will come upon you. It's as simple as that. All right.

(03:32):
Now, when you combine your strength with others, you can accomplish way more
than you could really on your own. Like I was telling y'all,
you know, like two heads are better than one.
So y'all have to understand if you have a goal,
it's better to find somebody with that same enthusiasm or that like-minded individuals

(03:54):
or individual and just keep bouncing ideas and keep,
you know, keep bouncing your thoughts around to achieve the main goal that you guys want to achieve.
Now, Napoleon Hill also said this, too.
The laws of attraction. You can't talk about mind control without mentioning the law of attraction.

(04:16):
This is the idea that what you focus on, you can attract.
So if you're always thinking negative thoughts, then guess what,
y'all? You're going to attract negative experiences.
Now, that's going back to what I was telling you. Like you, you,
you can attract anything that you desire, whether it's negative or positive.

(04:38):
So you just got to understand, you got to be aware and control of your mind.
You can't always focus on a negativity, focus on something positive because,
you know, even though you can harp about the negativity, but what is the positive,
like, what are you gaining from that?
What is the gain-tivity or the longevity from that?
You're going to be stressed out in the long run and you're going to be worrying

(04:58):
more. And then, you know, it's just not beneficial.
So we got to try to focus and manifest positive things. So, you know,
we can free our mind to do other things and, you know, accomplish more,
more goals or just accomplish more life things that we want to do.
Now, Napoleon Hill once said this, y'all, what the mind of a man believes it can achieve.

(05:23):
So and I'm here to tell you, if you can believe it or if you can imagine it,
I should say, if you can imagine it and believe it, you can achieve it.
That just as simple as that.
You just got to put your mind to it and you just got to manifest it.
Just keep manifesting and speaking positive things.
And you know, I'm saying it will happen. I promise you it will happen.

(05:47):
But check this out, y'all. The good news is you can use the law of attraction
to your advantage to like any goals that y'all have.
Just focus on them, you know, positively, you know, just focus on positive thoughts.
It's like if you're going to school and it's getting rough.
No, just just I'm telling you, stick through it.

(06:10):
Just focus on the positive things, like focus on the things that you can control.
If you're struggling in a class, just guess what? Just just keep on studying.
Just keep on studying. Just be positive.
And I promise you, you're going to get it. It's a proven fact. I know some people.
I know some people, y'all. all. And they was, you know, nursing school was,

(06:30):
was getting on them, but, you know, through perseverance and positive,
you know, mentorship and thoughts,
they will be graduating, you know, and congratulate them for that.
Now, also like while we're on this mind thing, you can create any environment
and change anything that you can put your mind to, you.

(06:53):
Any given moment, like you can change your situation. One of my favorite philosophies
is you can really change the situation.
If you don't like a situation that you're in or that's going on,
you can really change it.
Just, no, I don't want it. I don't want to do this or I just want to do something

(07:13):
else. Or I know I'm better than this.
And you can physically and mentally change it because you don't have to,
you know, abide by anything.
Understand it. The space that you create in your mind, in your head is a space
that you can manifest into the world. And that's where it is.
Now, I wanted to talk a lot more about, you know, not a lot more,

(07:37):
but, you know, I also want to talk about overcoming obstacles.
Now, we all know, you know, life ain't always sunshine and rainbows and you're
always going to face obstacles along the way. But my good old mentor,
Napoleon Hill, always said, hey, that's OK.
In fact, obstacles can actually be a good thing because they force you to grow

(07:59):
and develop your mental muscles.
Now, what it is is like if you face a challenge and you don't know what's up,
but then you you mentally prepare and you think and you figure it out.
So that's unlocking some more percentages or some more, you know,
I'm going to say doors, a part of your brain.

(08:21):
And now, you know, you got that that mentality now like, oh,
I can figure it out. I can problem solve. You know, I can get this done.
So you can always don't always look at at, you know, obstacles or anything negative
as you know, like, oh, man, it's a bad situation. No.
Well, no, it could be worse.

(08:44):
But at the same time, what's the positivity?
You know, like what's positive about this situation right now?
You know, if you just manifest it, just think about it. Just you can when you
overcome that and you use your mind to problem solve and get out of the situations
or get or, you know, and achieve more goals.
That's beneficial for your mind to freeing the subconscious.

(09:07):
And he or she's out just ripping and running while you just,
you know, stagger me because I just want to shoot this to you. All right.
Right now, when y'all go to sleep or when we go to sleep, our body,
our physical body is just there.
All right. Now, our mind does not stop.
Our mind keeps going. It's a whole machine and the subconscious is everywhere.

(09:30):
So it's like whatever you're manifesting about, you know, a new job or a big
break or, you know, like.
You want to pass this class or you got a big old test. If you go to sleep and you manifest,
you pass the test and you're getting the answers right or you're getting the
job or the promotion that you wanted or you're getting the big break in this

(09:53):
acting role, whatever the case may be,
you got to understand your subconscious while your physical you is,
you know, dormant and sleeping,
the subconscious mind is out zooming, zooming, running,
figuring out ways to come back and make things easier for you so you can figure
out how to accomplish your goals or how you can get to point A to point B or

(10:17):
even really get to what you need to do.
So that's just my theory. That's my theory.
It's like while we sleep, your subconscious is just out ripping and running,
trying to make things happen. So then when you wake up, you know,
you got a fresh start and you you already know the answers. You feel good.

(10:37):
You know, you already know how to do this, this, this, this,
this, because, you know, he didn't came back and taught you.
Hey, this is what I learned.
This is what I've been grasped from while you were sleeping. So let's go.
All right. So my man's Napoleon Hill once said, the greatest achievement in
life is to develop your mind.

(10:59):
And that's what we're all trying to do, you know, in this world is just trying
to get to a point to where we understand everything.
Our daily functions, you know, how our thought process and patterns is,
you know, we all go through, I think they say like 60,000 thoughts, you know, a day.
But if we get to a point to where we understand how the mind works,

(11:24):
you know, and just take time out to just, you know, just,
hey, and it's manifest positive things or just manifest, you know,
different things other than the negativity,
then, you know, we can we can do some some some some great things.
I feel I know we can do some great things. All right.
So just remember, the next time you hit a roadblock, remember,

(11:46):
it's just an opportunity to level up.
Every adversity brings the seed of an equivalent benefit.
Let me say that once more again.
Every adversity brings with it the seed of an equivalent benefit.
Now, remember, y'all, just because you have, you know, an adversity doesn't

(12:08):
mean that it's the end of the world.
No, it could be when one door closes, you got three, four or five of the doors that open up.
So just remember, you know, just keep on manifesting positive thoughts and we
can get this thing going.
All right, y'all. All right. Now, that's enough for today. Remember,

(12:28):
your mind is the most powerful tool. So start using it wisely.
And don't forget to check out Napoleon Hills, how to own your own mind.
I'm telling y'all, it's a real game changer. Peace.
