We spreken met Corina Pfaff, van zowel het Historisch museum de Bevelanden, als van het ZeeuwsFruitMuseum en Reinier Zondervan van Stoomtrein Goes Borsele
Als je Goes binnenrijdt kan je het niet missen. De twee enorme kerken die er tegenover elkaar staan. Zij vertellen het verhaal van de beeldenstorm. De oudste Grote Kerk is na de beeldenstorm (1578) overgegaan naar de protestanten. Maar de katholieken bouwden er recht tegenover (rond 1900) een nieuwe kerk, die er qua omvang niet voor onder doet. Op het pleintje bij de kerk ligt heel idyllisch ook het Historisch museum de Bevelanden. Allemaal historische gebouwen, dicht bij elkaar en allemaal met hun eigen verhaal.
Op loopafstand achter het station van Goes vinden we de remise van stoomtrein. Tevens het opstappunt.
En wat je nog niet weet van fruit kom je te weten in Kapelle, het dorp van Annie M.G Schmidt, maar ook van het ZeeuwsFruitMuseum met 180 rassen in de tuin.
