### Navigating the Stars and Comedy: A Deep Dive into Astrology and Self-Discovery with Kambria and The Fresh King Benjamin

In an illuminating conversation full of laughs, truth-seeking, and astrological insights, The Fresh King Benjamin sat down with Kambria Davis, the local neighborhood astrologer and founder of Kaya Community. Together, they ventured into the mystical world of astrology to uncover how understanding our celestial blueprint can impact our personal growth, community building, and even comedy.

#### The Journey Begins with Astrology

Kambria, with her profound knowledge and passion for astrology, emphasized the importance of seeing astrology not as a belief system but as a language. This language of the stars offers a unique means to understand ourselves and the world around us more deeply. By recognizing astrology as a tool for introspection and guidance, we can navigate life with a greater sense of clarity and purpose.

#### Understanding the Astrological Blueprint

The conversation took a fascinating turn as Cambria analyzed The Fresh King Benjamin's astrological chart. His Gemini Sun, Moon, and fittingly, a Libra rising sign, painted a picture of a person driven by communication, community, and a relentless pursuit of truth. These insights provided a beautiful reflection of his comedic talents and his drive to bring people together through laughter and shared experiences.

#### Astrology in Action: Nitebreak Comedy and Community Engagement

One of the most compelling aspects of this exploration was how The Fresh King Benjamin leveraged his astrological insights to make an impact within his community. His initiative, "Nitebreakk" Comedy, demonstrates how understanding one's astrological makeup can fuel creativity and foster community connections. By bringing laughter and thought-provoking content to his audience, he creates a space where everyone is welcome, and every voice is valued.

#### Embracing Our Celestial Journey

The dialogue between kambria and The Fresh King Benjamin serves as a powerful reminder of how astrology can help us understand the multifaceted nature of our personalities and relationships. It challenges us to view ourselves and others with compassion, recognizing that our strengths, challenges, and quirks are all part of the cosmic design.

Through Kambria's guidance, we learn that starting with a personal chart reading can unlock the door to self-discovery and empowerment. As we become more familiar with our astrological signatures, we gain the tools to navigate life's complexities with grace, humor, and a deeper connection to the ce

(00:09):
so how did like the pop -up show go dude?
I'm sorry I missed itbut that looked amazing!
The Fresh King Benjamin [00:09.432]
Oh my God, it was so much fun and I feelstupid proud of how well it turned out.
Because we sold out, I had 69 ticketsthat I could sell because Biscot's where

(00:32):
I was at, which is this really great.
That was the number that they gave me andI was like, I have to use this number.
Kambria [00:17.111]
as you should.
Kambria [00:27.479]
Oh, that wasn't your number?
That wasn't the number you decided?
Kambria [00:34.327]
Yeah.
Totally.
The Fresh King Benjamin [00:37.016]
What I wanna do, I wasn't able todo it for this one, but what I wanna
do for future shows is get like abaseball cap that says 69 and it's like

(00:52):
blinged out, like super bling, likerhinestones, like a crown and shit.
And then whoever buys the 69th ticket,I'll give it to them to wear at the show.
And then they just getto wear that 69 hat.
Kambria [00:47.607]
Yes.
Kambria [01:02.743]
the best.
Oh, I'm so here for that.

(01:13):
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:03.96]
It's gonna be so fun.
So, we sold all tickets and then we soldone more because there was this guy here
in daybreak who was like, hey, I wantto come I want to bring my girlfriend.
There's I can't buy two tickets.
And so I was like, yeah, just come and like Venmo me.
And we had like coffee.
We had three baristas who were likemaking people coffee and treats and

(01:34):
like snacks through the entire thing.
Um, it got annoying like one time when myfriend daily own was up because someone
ordered a smoothie just like running inthe background as he's like trying to talk
about what it's like to be black in Utah.
And I'm like, that's a pretty great,that's a pretty great analogy.

(01:55):
Kambria [01:34.871]
Hahaha!
Kambria [01:43.863]
Oh wow.
Yeah.
This tracks.
Bye.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:52.056]
But it was so much fun.
And what was cool too about it isthere were there were a number of
kind of really magical moments.
So one of the moments was I'm I'msitting in the back and I'm watching
this full like this packed room, right?
There's people going backon both sides of Biscots.

(02:16):
The senior like Piscots Biscotsis such a beautiful building.
And so the view is very, it'svery, it's very pretty to see like
every the lights are sparkling.
Kambria [02:13.143]
It is.
The Fresh King Benjamin [02:19.896]
people are laughing,they're getting drinks.
And then I look in the backand I see the owner of Biscots.
And the owner and I had met probablysix months ago at a networking meeting.

(02:39):
And we talked a little bit aboutsort of a shared desire to have
a nightlife and daybreak, right?
To have places where peoplecould go outside with other
humans in daybreak at night.
Because right now there's like the break.
Kambria [02:45.943]
Yeah
The Fresh King Benjamin [02:49.528]
is the place and that's it.
There's one singular option and thebreak is great for what it is, but

(03:04):
it's just that one thing, right?
And so we were kind of talking aboutthat and he had shared that he really
wanted Biscots to be a hub for that, that he wanted, like he was imagining
bringing in like shows, he was imaginingbringing in like a mocktails, people to
like make mocktails and stuff so thatjust because he wanted people kind of out
and I love that because I love Biscots.

(03:25):
Kambria [02:49.559]
Yes, that's the one option.
Kambria [03:19.159]
Totally.
The Fresh King Benjamin [03:19.16]
And so we were just kind ofchatting about it and I was like,
I could do a comedy show there.
And then fast forward six monthslater and it's happening, right?
And he's there and he's filming.
He's got a big smile on his face.
And so it was cool to sort of be, likeI was in the middle of a dream for me,

(03:47):
of kind of a dream come true for me.
And then I looked over and itwas also that for someone else.
And I had made that happen.
Kambria [03:35.351]
Thank you.
Kambria [03:43.031]
Yeah.
Kambria [03:47.063]
I love
The Fresh King Benjamin [03:49.208]
Yeah, yeah, it was it wassuch a really lovely moment.
And afterwards, everyone like wetalked, I talked to a whole bunch
of people, everyone was super happy.

(04:07):
There was my my one of my friends that wasthere, which I was a little bit concerned
about because this this gentleman isan old he's like a an older grandpa.
I'm pretty sure I don't know thisbecause I've never asked him, but
I'm I'm pretty sure that he's anactive Mormon and which generally
Kambria [03:49.911]
Thank you.
Kambria [03:54.039]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [04:18.808]
is not my vibe.
That's generally not generallypeople who are like that.

(04:30):
They don't vibe with me.
They don't love they don't love my stuff.
And but I've kind of I've kind of beendeveloping a relationship with this with
this gentleman for a number of weeks, sortof that is is just because we are mutually
humans and we both have a sense of humor.
And I think he's funny.
And if I think you're funny, I I don'treally care anything else about you.

(04:51):
That's like the one if I'mif I if you make me laugh.
Kambria [04:26.583]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [04:48.312]
I don't care.
You can be whatever you want to be.
Cause you make me laugh.
And so he showed up, hebrought cakes for the comics.
He was like chatting up allthe comments afterwards.
He's like, you guys were so good.
This was so amazing.
Afterwards on Facebook, he leftme a comment on my post that said,

(05:14):
he was like, I've been to theimprov in this comedy store in LA.
And the lineup that Ben brought inwas better, was as good or better.
Kambria [04:49.079]
Yeah.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [05:17.624]
than that.
And I was like, hell yeah, whichwas another cool thing about
it was that I was able to, thiswas a show that wasn't about me.
Because the show that you're coming tothis weekend is very egotistical, right?

(05:39):
It's all about me.
Kambria [05:32.055]
Perfect!
I don't support that ego!
Let's go!
The Fresh King Benjamin [05:39.576]
just like, I'm just like, everyonecome, everyone come and listen to me
talk about myself for an hour, right?
And I love that.
It's so great.
It's so much fun.
But what I wanted to do with withthis is I wanted I wanted this

(06:00):
thing that I'm doing in daybreakto be to just be something that
was a little bit bigger than me.
So that that we had so that it was avibrant and a new experience every time.
Right?
Kambria [05:44.553]
Love it.
Kambria [06:06.135]
Right.
The Fresh King Benjamin [06:06.872]
where I'm kind of hosting it, Ican kind of be there and kind of
provide this like stable presence.
And then I'll always get sometime to do a little bit of stuff.

(06:21):
So I have that that option.
But I'm really the purpose of it was togo and find really great talent and bring
it and sort of present it to daybreak.
Because I think that daybreakhas I think a lot of people in
daybreak have really refined taste.
That's why we live here is welike things to be high quality.

(06:41):
We like things to look beautiful.
Kambria [06:32.055]
Totally.
Hey.
The Fresh King Benjamin [06:36.792]
We like to, we really like toenjoy the experience of life.
And we have so many fabulous localcomedians here in Utah who are, who
you'll never really get to see do longerthan like three minutes or five minutes
because they don't quite have an hour andthey don't quite have enough of a poll

(07:06):
to be doing a regular hour frequently, but they can murder for 20 minutes.
Kambria [07:05.559]
Okay.
The Fresh King Benjamin [07:06.616]
Right?
And so I was able to kind of grabsome of them and bring them down.
And that I think that's going to allow me.
So this is kind of what I want toannounce as as so announcing here
on this podcast is that's goingto become night break comedy.

(07:30):
Kambria [07:23.767]
Yes!
The Fresh King Benjamin [07:27.032]
because I'm barred from calling thisthing Daybreak because Daybreak is
trademarked and I cannot say it.
Well, I can say it, but Ican't put it on flyers and call
my thing it, which is fair.
I didn't invent the name Daybreak.

(07:53):
They didn't either, but it's fair.
They got the paper, fair.
Nitebreak is actuallybetter because at night,
Kambria [07:35.511]
kids.
Kambria [07:47.607]
This is...
Kambria [07:54.263]
Yeah.
Uh huh.
The Fresh King Benjamin [07:56.792]
and it's not trademarked and it's funny.
So all those threethings are really great.
And then the last thing that I wantto do is sort of maybe maybe kind of

(08:14):
introduce you, my friend, and kind ofshift the tone of this podcast is I
want to just thank you because when Ilaunched this, this was this was a this
comedy night was a bit of a mad idea.
Right.
Basically, what happened is I did didanother pop up show with another guy.
over in like Draper and it wasat like a witchy yoga studio.

(08:37):
And all this dude did is he brought inspeakers and he brought in chairs and
then he sold tickets to a comedy night.
And I was like, fuck, I can do that.
Kambria [08:40.695]
This is too easy!
The Fresh King Benjamin [08:44.504]
I can do that.
And so I had it kind of in mymind and I was getting all ready.
I was building a page on mywebsite where I could sell it.

(08:59):
And I was talking to, you know, Biscots tokind of see if they would want to host it.
And then I came to one of ourweekly networking meetings, which
is where I've met you, Cambria.
And you, that week you said, hey, everybody, 420 is like this Saturday.
Kambria [09:01.367]
Okay.
The Fresh King Benjamin [09:13.368]

(09:20):
And that's a really great timeto launch something if you want
to launch something because.
A planet is doing something.
Kambria [09:21.687]
Yeah, Jupiter and Uranus, they're hanging out together.
It's beautiful energy.
And that's usually where I leave it.
I just tell people, people arelike, I don't really give a
shit what planets are doing.

(09:40):
What?
Just tell me good day, not good day.
The Fresh King Benjamin [09:37.208]
Yeah, I heard good day and I waslike, great, I'll give this a try.
And you also had said somethingabout how you were because
you're a real estate agent too.
And you had something about how youlisted a house for $2 ,222 ,000.
No 200 to do all the way down.

(10:03):
Which I loved I was like, that is so good.
Because
Kambria [09:46.423]
Yes.
Kambria [09:55.191]
Yes.
Kambria [10:01.047]
Yep.
The Fresh King Benjamin [10:02.232]
And so I was like, I'm gonna make,I'm gonna launch it on 420 and I
made the tickets $22 and 22 cents.
And it, I sold 50 plus,50 % plus of tickets that day.
And for the rest of the week,by the time the show started,

(10:26):
I'd sold all of the tickets.
Which.
Kambria [10:21.879]
I literally got chills when you said that.
So I know this is like a comedypodcast, but like that shit is real.
And I'm glad you listenedbecause people are like, and
I'm like, try it for yourself.
What's the worst that's gonna happen?
Nothing.
Or the best that's gonnahappen is true magic, you know?
The Fresh King Benjamin [10:29.816]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [10:39.]
Right, is true magic.

(10:47):
And so I'm really excited to have you on.
Do you want to maybe introduceyourself a little bit for
people who maybe don't know you?
And then let's talkabout how to make magic.
Kambria [10:50.743]
Yeah, okay, perfect.
So my name is Cambria Davis andnaturally on the podcast I'm
wearing my brand and logo, which isKaya, stands for come as you are.

(11:07):
It's actually the fiveyear anniversary on Sunday.
We're having a little anniversaryparty, but Kaya is just the name
of, I guess, like the umbrella ofthe events and things that I do.
So I have coined myself the daybreakastrologer or maybe the night.
The Fresh King Benjamin [11:17.304]
Yeah.
Kambria [11:19.127]
break, daybreak, whatever, you know, the local neighborhood astrologer.

(11:33):
So I do astrology events.
I've held women's retreats.
I hold early morning meditations, justreally anything that's gonna be in the
energetics while also trying to be ahuman that lives on this planet, right?
So Kaya was founded five years ago.
It was not.

(11:53):
It was not like, oh, this isgoing to be a nice side hustle.
You know, if people are interested, they can listen to my podcast,
go through the beginning.
But I do real estate and I'm a realtorand I totally immerse the woo woo and
astrology into my real estate business.
And then I play sound healing.
I am a Reiki master.
A lot of these like spiritual thingsI have done, but I just like to

(12:16):
keep it simple and say, I work inthe energetics and I have had a
lot of experience with humans and.
My main kind of focus is astrologyand a big reason is because I've
seen it work in my own life.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [12:22.424]
Hell yeah, I'm so excited to talk to you.
So I want to maybe frame thisconversation by by talking about why

(12:37):
astrology is interesting to me, whatsort of hooked me about astrology.
And I remember I remember growingup because we didn't talk about
astrology in Mormonism very muchother than like it's it's satanic.
But I do remember when I was whenI was a really little kid, I was

(12:58):
Kambria [12:41.655]
Oh, I don't know.
Talk about anything.
The Fresh King Benjamin [12:51.992]
easily bored.
And so my mom had like this children'sencyclopedia and I would just read that.
And there was a section in it that wasabout the Zodiac and the Greek myths.
And all of those kind of landed in mybrain and I found them really fascinating.
And then so they were always sort ofkind of living in the back of my mind.

(13:19):
And so I knew from the time I was avery young child that I was a Gemini.
That's that was my sign.
Kambria [13:08.727]
Mm -hmm.
Kambria [13:17.687]
Love it.
The Fresh King Benjamin [13:20.088]
I didn't really know what that meant oranything beyond that, but I knew that.
So fast forward to when I leave Mormonism.
When I leave Mormonism, I sortof reject belief altogether.

(13:40):
I'm like, fuck belief.
It trafficked me, it abused me, ittaught me to hate my body and to
hate myself and to hate other humans.
Fuck belief.
I'm never believing inanything ever again.
I will only accept things thatare real and that's science.

(14:01):
And so I went on this huge science dive.
I listened to hundreds of hours ofcourses on science courses from like
the best professors all over the world.
I learned about quantum physics, actual quantum physics, not what
people call quantum physics.
I learned about relativity, Ilearned about evolution, I learned
about all of these different things.

(14:23):
And it was...
fascinating to me.
It was so and it sort ofgrounded me down into Earth.
One of the last things that I learnedwas I read a book called Sapiens
by a guy named Yuval Noah Harari.
You kind of lit up when I said that.
Kambria [14:22.999]
totally.
Kambria [14:33.623]
Um, Oh, I have chills again.
I have not read that, but that is likethe second or third time that that

(14:45):
book has entered into some kind ofconversation with me in the last year.
So I'm like, Oh, and when thathappens, that's my cue to like follow.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [14:45.88]
Yeah.
kind of pay attention.
Let me let me tell you why I thinkwhat I think because I think there's
a really powerful connection hereand it's that the the whole book so
sapiens is a it's a history of humanitywritten from a secular perspective.

(15:09):
So it's saying look humans homo sapiensthe species that we are evolved out
of a whole bunch of other specieslike us Neanderthals, Denisovians.
There were other hominid speciesand we evolved out of them.
All of the rest of them are dead.

(15:29):
We survived.
Why?
That's the fundamentalquestion that it asks.
And his thesis is that it's not thatwe were stronger because we weren't.
Neanderthals were stronger than we were.
And it's not because we were smarternecessarily because other hominids
have bigger brains than we do.
What was different aboutus, he contends, is...

(15:52):
our ability to cooperate.
So our ability as humans to cooperatemeans that it doesn't fucking matter
that Neanderthals can kick the shit outof one of us because that Neanderthal
is going to be running down a blindcanyon with 18 sapiens on on the top
throwing rocks at that motherfucker.
Right.

(16:13):
That is our superpower.
And so then he takes it one step furtherand he asks, OK, if our superpower is
cooperation, what enables us to cooperate?
And what he says is that it's
Kambria [15:52.887]
Yeah.
Kambria [16:05.239]
Right.
Right.
The Fresh King Benjamin [16:19.416]
what he calls intersubjective entities, which are translated myths, right?
Things that we believe in ourminds that are not true, but

(16:36):
we all believe them, right?
Money, liberty, government, all of these things.
Belief, our ability to believe fakethings is what allows us to cooperate
on such a high level, which is what hasenabled us to thrive on this planet.
Kambria [16:25.143]
Mm -hmm.
Kambria [16:48.439]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [16:48.664]
So I learned that and suddenly it feltlike I had the solution to one of the real

(17:01):
problems that I was facing because what Iwas finding as I was really pursuing this
secular, like science, only real thingspath is that I felt really grounded in
my life, but my life felt really sterile.
I didn't feel very human.
I didn't feel very mad.
I didn't, I just kind of feltlike I'm like a, I'm like an atom.

(17:25):
I'm like a thing, right?
And suddenly when I read Sapiens, Isort of realized that maybe there was
a way to sort of that, that belief isa human tool and that perhaps there
are, there are human tools of beliefthat are more effective than others.

(17:45):
And
Kambria [17:18.519]
Yeah.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [17:39.384]
So then I discoveredastrology and I was like, oh.
Astrology is a human tool of belief ofa made up thing that's tied to something
actually real and uses systems andrepeated patterns to throw out mythically

(18:08):
complex archetypes that allow us tohelp to understand our lives and to
navigate the world in an effective way.
Kambria [18:11.255]
Totally.
Yeah, and to say something on top ofthat is I personally see astrology as a

(18:29):
language and not a belief system, right?
The Fresh King Benjamin [18:25.72]
Ooooo
Kambria [18:28.791]
Well, because you can't say froma standpoint of this, right?
I can't be like, well, Spanishis, I don't believe in Spanish.
Well, I don't understand Spanishand I can't personally speak

(18:49):
Spanish, but Spanish exists, right?
So realistically, in mypersonal experience, astrology
is more of a language.
And the more that I havestudied the language,
lived the language, right?
So it's interesting because I lived inessentially El Paso, Texas for two years.

(19:11):
I was based in NewMexico, but I lived there.
I mean, nobody around me spokeSpanish when I was working.
And I never learned it.
People are like, you'll pick it up.
Nope, I just literally never did.
But I can't say that it doesn't exist.
I knew that it existed.
I watched people live that.
So when we look at it that way,
The Fresh King Benjamin [19:19.672]

(19:31):
Mm -hmm.
Kambria [19:24.855]
you know, astrology isjust another language.
It's the language of the stars.
And a lot of people don't understandthe language and that's fine.
But it does doesn't reallymean that it doesn't exist.
And this I mean, everything you'resaying about that Sapien book and
what you're saying, I'm over herelike, oh, like this level of thought,
this level of, you know, researchingand education and seeking which.

(19:56):
The Fresh King Benjamin [19:36.92]
Yeah.
Kambria [19:50.071]
I will just tell you both your sun andmoon are in Gemini, but they're both
in the ninth house, which is the house, essentially an astrology named the
house of God, which is so interesting.
Your whole, when I pulled that, because Ipulled that just before a reading, because
you told me your sun and moon rise, but Ineeded to know the house and it was weird.
I'm getting chills.
This is so funny because this is supposedto be a fucking hilarious podcast, but

(20:18):
I'm like having, when I get chills, this is like confirmation shit for me.
The Fresh King Benjamin [19:59.672]
Oh, interesting.
The Fresh King Benjamin [20:17.496]
Yeah, you're feeling theHoly Ghost right now.
I get it.
I'm...
Kambria [20:19.383]
I'm like, oh, there he is, right?
All the way there, of course.
Total side note.
But so I pulled it because remember Iwas like, do you know what house system?
I was like, actually, just send me your son.

(20:39):
But it's both your son and me becausethey're both in Gemini when the moment
you were born is in the ninth house.
And the ninth house is typicallyruled by Sagittarius, but
that are the seekers of truth.
Both of your main twins are inthe house of seeking truth, right?
And then.
The Fresh King Benjamin [20:23.608]
Yeah!
The Fresh King Benjamin [20:45.72]
Yeah.
Kambria [20:49.079]
how you were raised andyour whole experience.
So when you're telling me I feltgrounded, but I felt disconnected, well,

(21:01):
yeah, because if we want to listen toastrology and we want to just jump on
that bandwagon, believe or not, thereality is that the essence of your
soul wants to seek truth, also knowingthat there is not truth that exists.
There is no single truth.
The Fresh King Benjamin [21:11.672]
Yeah.
That that resonates with me sohard because I, I so truth is

(21:24):
like one of my core values, right?
I have I have three core valuesand one of them is truth.
And and I believe fundamentally that thereis truth and that all truth is truth.
Right.
And what's weird to me, a little kind ofwild to me about my connection to truth is
that it was it was framed, it was forged.

(21:47):
Kambria [21:30.135]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [21:41.464]
in a worldview that is not the truth.
That is like so much not the truth.
Like it's wild, but it createdsomething inside of me that
is really focused on that.
And what I loved about astrology andwhat I've loved about the experience that

(22:09):
I've had in sort of bringing together.
Kambria [21:46.103]
Yeah.
Kambria [21:52.631]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [22:07.32]
like this life and belief, right?
The real world, I feel likeit's science and religion.
They're not different things.
It's the same thing.
And what it really is, isit's like astrology, right?
Astrology is cool because you cango out and you can look at the

(22:30):
stars and the stars will do thething that we say that they will do.
That is that, and so tosort of ground truth,
Kambria [22:14.359]
Sure.
Kambria [22:25.111]
Totally.
Yep.
Yep.
The Fresh King Benjamin [22:36.632]
that there's sort of idea truth andthen there's real world truth, right?
And the real world truth is Ican point to fucking Sagittarius.

(22:54):
It's right there.
It's right fucking there, right?
And all of them are, right?
They're all there.
And then on that lattice ofreality, let us exercise our
beautiful mythic mind to then...
Kambria [22:46.263]
Yeah, yeah, yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [23:04.728]
explore and I love that you said it calledit a language because that that shifts it

(23:15):
to that sort of changes the relationshipbecause when I because part of what what
opened up astrology for me was realizingthat there's not just a sun sign.
There's other signs, right?
So the sun is your is your ego.
The moon is your emotions.
Mercury is how you speak.
Venus is how you love Marsis how you fight, right?

(23:35):
Speaking, loving, fighting.
Those are three.
essential things to understandabout yourself as a human,
because you will speak and youwill love and you will fight.
And so it's I realized that it was thisreally complex and beautiful system
that is that has sort of been generated.

(23:57):
We don't even know how long for thousandsof years it's been generated by humans.
And and what a lovely tool to use.
Kambria [23:35.991]
Oh, totally.
Yes, yes.
Kambria [23:56.919]
Totally.
The Fresh King Benjamin [24:00.344]
and it's fuckingconnected us to the stars.
And you know what else is true?
That's where we fucking came from.
We're literally, so all of thesepeople who are like, well, you
can't use the astrology becausethe stars don't affect who you are.

(24:20):
Bullshit, we are stars.
Now I get it, right?
The reason why it's all doingthat is because of certain things.
Yeah, and those things are realand exist and we discovered them.
And then on top of that lattice work,
Kambria [24:05.431]
Exactly.
Kambria [24:16.151]
Yes.
Right.
Kambria [24:28.471]
Thank you.
The Fresh King Benjamin [24:29.4]
We did what we always do, whichis we made beautiful mail.
Kambria [24:32.407]
Yes, we wrote stories and we put,I mean, you're tracking back to

(24:43):
early Egyptian times, Mesopotamia.
This is not new.
This is not the trend on TikTok.
I mean, this, the true study, the truelanguage of astrology goes back forever.
And what is interesting isI find it ironic, right?
I find, I read a fewarticles around the eclipse.
Somebody actually in daybreakmade a comment how they had made.

(25:06):
plans to go to somewhere in NewYork, I can't remember, months ago.
And they didn't put a deposit downand then a hotel chain canceled their
trip and she didn't understand why.
They said, sorry, we can'taccommodate you anymore.
And she's like, that's never happenedin 20 years with Marriott or whatever.
And they said, sorry, we had to cancel.
So she goes back on to try to rebook it.

(25:28):
And I guess their trip for like athousand dollars to stay somewhere
for a week was up to $4 ,500.
And she had no idea.
So she called and they said, sorry, we can't accommodate you.
This is the path of the total eclipse.
So now these people are driving to seethe lunar eclipse or the solar eclipse.

(25:49):
They are buying the glass.
You can't find glasses anywhere.
And yet people are like, but astrology is not real.
But we're all going to go watchthe eclipse and we're all going
to feel, I mean, same thing.
So you talked about the sun.
I mean,
let alone you can really seriouslytalk to anybody who deals with human
beings, teachers, first responders, people working in our correction system,

(26:13):
people working in psych wards, everybodywho works with humans will tell you
around a full moon, they overstaff, people get cuckoo, cachoo, right?
But you're right, it's bullshit.
It's not real.
The Fresh King Benjamin [26:19.544]
But astrology isn't real.
And I, astrology isn't real, but cometo my Easter service so that we can
celebrate Jesus who rose from thedead, which is a lovely language.

(26:37):
Kambria [26:29.335]
Right.
That changes days all the timebased again off the spring
equinox and the first set of mood.
Like when people like, and I get it,like, look, man, 10 years ago when
I'm in corporate America and I'mjust right in the mix of things and
people are like, you know, you reallyshould hire people with these traits.
And you could actually look at theirbirth chart long before their resume

(27:00):
and know if they're a good employee.
I'd be like, what in thefuck are you talking about?
Absolutely not.
The Fresh King Benjamin [26:36.344]
Wait.
Wait.
Kambria [26:58.391]
I would have been like the same way.
And here I am probably sevenyears deep in studying it.
And I myself can sometimesbe like, I don't know.
And then I pull a chart like youwho I know you enough through
the Daybreak community, butI don't know you super well.

(27:20):
And I'm like doubleGemini in the ninth house.
And I'm like, what?
You can't write that.
This is not a belief system.
It's just a language.
And the more I study andlearn the language, um,
the easier and more clear it gets.
And like you said earlier, it isa tool, just like anything, right?
I have to be careful about the mythsand stories and dogma and whatever,

(27:41):
but it is a tool and it's a toolthat when used properly can actually
really bring magic to your life.
The Fresh King Benjamin [27:42.296]
So if someone wanted to startusing, like learning the language of
astrology and using it as a tool, wherewould you suggest that they start?
Kambria [27:50.871]
Well, I'm a Leo, so naturally I'mgoing to plug myself right here.

(28:03):
This is going to track, but first I wouldsay get a birth chart reading, right?
Literally have a birth chart readingand not online where somebody sends
you 95 pages and you read throughit, but get with an astrologer who
does birth chart readings and havethe moment of your birth read.
When I do birth chart readings, Ijust start with people's main three,

(28:23):
your sun, your moon, your rising.
The next thing that I would do is goand learn the real archetypes of that.
Not the funny videos that are onthe social for clicks and likes,
but the actual art type, right?
Because once you understand thatAries is the first sign of the zodiac,
Taurus is the second, Gemini is third.

(28:44):
One is cardinal, one is fixed, one is immutable, one is fire,
one is earth, one is air.
And then you start to understandhere's the basic things of Taurus.
The Fresh King Benjamin [28:28.536]
Thank you.
Kambria [28:47.799]
Here are the basic things of Gemini.
That allows you, cause I have taught manypeople and have held classes in the past
and it's like, that is the best thing todo is I would start with the art type.

(29:09):
What is an Aries andwhat are their traits?
What is a Taurus traits, Gemini traits.
And then you kind ofhave a lived experience.
Then you meet somebody who's aGemini and you're like, Oh yeah,
this tracks, he communicates.
He shares, he's seekingknowledge, he's reading, right?
He wants to learn, he's a comedian.
These are all things.

(29:29):
You kind of learn these basic traits.
And then the next thing after thatis to learn the planetary system.
And so again, it's a language.
So we start here and then we buildand then we build and then we build.
The Fresh King Benjamin [29:35.416]
So if I were to look at mine, somy Gemini Sun, Moon rising, walk
me through the Sun, walk me throughthe Moon, walk me through rising.

(29:52):
I think that I understandSun and Moon pretty well, but
I'd love to hear it from you.
I don't understand rising at all.
People have tried to explain it to me.
I don't get it.
But I would love to haveaccess to that as a tool.
Kambria [29:52.311]
Okay, yeah, cut.
Cool.
So a couple things.
So where, you know, the sunmoon rising is just where were
these planets in the exact?
This is why the exact birthtime is very important because

(30:14):
everything's rotating, right?
So I like what you said earlier thatthere is myth, but there is science.
I mean, you know, hopefully most ofus understand we're on a round planet
moving through the solar system withother planets circling and it all moves.
We're not stationary ever.
So that exact birth time.
Your son you said is your ego.
I like to see it really as yourpurpose The sun is your purpose and

(30:37):
how you shine in this world So whenyou're like, I'm a Gemini and I'm a
comedian I'm like absolutely fuck.
Yeah exactly where you want to be right?
If somebody was a Gemini and they workedin a warehouse with headphones and ever
spoke to somebody all day They go nineto ten, you know nine to five every day.
They're in no human contact
The Fresh King Benjamin [30:29.816]
Mmm.
Kambria [30:50.039]
I automatically know thatperson is not shining.

(30:59):
They're probably very depressed.
They're feeling super notgreat about their life, right?
So your sun is your purpose.
It's think of the sun, the sun shines.
So how do you shine in the world?
Your moon is your physicaland emotional needs.
You talk about your emotions, but it'sreally your physical and emotional needs.

(31:19):
So when people are like,
The Fresh King Benjamin [31:01.752]
Yeah.
Kambria [31:14.359]
I took the five love languages or whenpeople are like, hey, I'm dating somebody.
I don't care about your two moon signs.
I want to know or your two son.
Your moon sign is important.
These are needs.
So in order for us to fulfillthat our human nature, the moon is
our physical and emotional needs.

(31:39):
And the moon is really whowe are behind closed doors.
Our son.
Again, how are we shining in the world?
OK, now the rising isconfusing because the sun.
Obviously travels, you know the 24-hour stints every two and a half
hours it crosses each zodiac signSo that you're rising is the path

(32:01):
you take to get to your sun sign
The Fresh King Benjamin [31:59.928]
Okay, what does that mean astrologically?
Like what is happening?
What is happening?
I guess what is rising?
Kambria [32:05.879]
So all right, so we're done.
So wherever the sun rose on the east, right, the eastern horizon, where

(32:22):
was it crossing above or below thehorizon the moment you were born?
The Fresh King Benjamin [32:22.232]
Oh, oh, okay.
Kambria [32:22.263]
because it's traversing allthe no -gap signs in one day.
So if you were born at, I can't remember, one something in the afternoon, but
at three, it's now moved into cancer.

(32:43):
And then at five something, now it's moved into Leo.
And so the rising sign, it is confusing, but it's really important because, so
even though you are double Gemini and youhave a shit ton of error in your chart,
The Fresh King Benjamin [32:38.296]
Bye.
Kambria [32:51.543]
See that's another thing a lot ofastrologers and people online they're
talking a lot about the zodiac actualsign Which is great, but you have nine

(33:07):
Placements like of all the planets rightthe Sun moon Mercury Mars all that right
all the way to Pluto The nodes which areyour eclipse like your points, right?
Your eclipse points yourmidheaven anything big you have
nine placements in air Okay
The Fresh King Benjamin [33:21.336]

(33:28):
Do you want to know where I'mrecording this from right now?
I'm four stories above the groundon the roof of my townhouse.
Kambria [33:23.671]
Where?
Kambria [33:27.575]
Yeah, yeah, you're like, right.
And here's the thing you said, yousaid something about your, what did
you say something about your, I don'tknow, your mom and your younger and.
The Fresh King Benjamin [33:40.12]
Oh, yeah, she had, she gave me, shehad a bunch of like encyclopedias,

(33:49):
like children's encyclopedias.
And I just, I just read all of that.
Kambria [33:44.215]
Yeah.
You probably just your wholelife or just bored, bored.
Let's go.
Let's start this new thing.
I want to start that new thing.
Here's my idea.
The other thing too, I'lljust have it right here.
Like, cause I want to get this right.
You have a ton of Cardinal energy.
Nine.
Oh, that's you have seven airplacements, but nine Cardinal.

(34:12):
Cardinal signs are theones that start a season.
So you are a big, I did have her.
So like here, right?
Like probably, I don't know.
The Fresh King Benjamin [34:09.144]
orange.
Ha ha ha.
Kambria [34:16.599]
either family or spouses or loversor whatever, probably like, hey,
like I love all the ideas, butit's like a little too much, right?
Like tone it down.

(34:33):
You start a hundred and you onlyfinish 12 and it's so annoying, right?
The Fresh King Benjamin [34:24.92]
Yeah, totally.
The Fresh King Benjamin [34:31.032]
Yeah, that's you that you have pegged me.
That is exact.
I have I have so in fact, if youwere to look in my one one example
might be my TikTok drafts, right?
So my TikTok drafts, Iprobably have over 500.

(34:55):
Kambria [34:43.255]
Yes.
Kambria [34:50.551]
Yeah.
Well, you have nine cardinal.
So cardinal sign plate, likecardinal energy, that's any
placement that starts a season.
Cause here's another thing withoutgiving a whole astrology lesson,
but astrology governs our seasons.
So cardinal sign Aries started spring,Taurus is fixed in the middle of

(35:19):
spring and Gemini transitions us.
So when somebody hasnine cardinal placement,
The Fresh King Benjamin [35:07.32]
Yeah.
Kambria [35:17.527]
Asking them to have this routinelife, saying thing over and
over every day, literally isasking them not to breathe air.
The Fresh King Benjamin [35:27.672]
Thank you so much.
Kambria [35:30.167]
And I always say there's two sides.
So like there's a lot of validation inastrology because you're like, oh my God.

(35:43):
And we, then you know that about yourself.
Okay, cool.
You are not ever going to be froman astrology standpoint, you are
not ever going to be the guy thatjust has like two or three projects.
You are going to be thedouble digit project guy.
And then part of knowing that islike, at some point it's maybe
instead of doing like 20 projects, you try to stay in like that 12th.

(36:04):
The Fresh King Benjamin [35:35.768]
Yeah.
Kambria [35:58.071]
Because saying no to the other eightis actually gonna help you bring to
life the 12 that you really wanna be.
You know?
The Fresh King Benjamin [35:58.392]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [36:03.032]
Which is what I reallylove about astrology.
Another thing is, is what you justdid there, which is that astrology is
about celebrating the entire human.
There's no bad, there's just information.

(36:26):
Right.
So it's not, I haven't sinned becauseI don't finish projects, but right.
But that's something for myconsciousness to be aware of.
Kambria [36:19.319]
It is all information.
The Fresh King Benjamin [36:32.632]
driving this vehicle thatI'm in, because you're right.
I start so many things, thereare so many things that I've
started that I have not finished.

(36:47):
And some of those thingsneed to get finished.
And more of those things could getfinished if I acknowledged that I start
a lot of things and then intentionallydrill down and said, okay, I'm gonna
be the 12 project guy, but these arethe 12 projects I'm actually gonna do.
Kambria [36:43.863]
Totally.
Kambria [36:57.975]
Totally.
And this is where astrology gets evenbetter because then you know if you're a

(37:09):
great starter, you find a business partneror a partner who is more fixed energy.
I have eight fixed placementsand those are the ones that
normally will continue a project.
There's the ones that will dig in.
They will stick with somethingbecause they're fixed, right?
They're right in the heart of it.
So those are the people thathelp finish those projects.

(37:30):
So understanding that you're the starter.
means cool when I'm looking forpartnership, business partnership,
friendship, whatever, right?
Looking for that person who has thatlong -term focus that can help you or
take over the project and finish it.
But it makes sense to me, again, seeing what I pulled, I'm just
laughing because I don't know you,but I know a little bit about you.

(37:54):
And it's like, you have theseideas, we wanna do this, we're gonna
start this, I'm gonna do the nightbreak comedy, I'm gonna do this.
And I'm like, yeah.
Right.
And then you're.
That's how you operate.
So when we understand that, right.
So bird chart readingsare powerful for couples.
They're powerful for individualsare powerful for a parent to child.

(38:16):
Because as a parent, if you know, hey,I got a double Gemini and that that kid
is going to be reading and learning andthey need to be intellectually stimulated
all the freaking time or they'regoing to be bored out of their mind.
And I got to be coming up andsupporting their projects.
If.
The Fresh King Benjamin [37:56.856]
Yeah, that's just me moving through life.
Kambria [38:23.895]
As a child, which, you know, I'm goingto make an assumption, probably a
lot of your ideas may or may not havebeen shut down because you wanted to

(38:38):
start so much and just only knowing alittle bit about how you were raised.
But like, that's the thing isyou need the freedom because
it's also in the ninth house.
You need the freedom to explore, to seek.
Philosophical study is a big part for you.
And then all that air.
So you have air and Cardinal.
So you've got to be talking all the time.

(38:59):
The Fresh King Benjamin [38:35.576]
Yum.
Kambria [38:52.951]
And you gotta be starting new shit.
And if you're not, youare not feeling good.
The Fresh King Benjamin [38:57.432]
I'm not feeling good.
And that's, that's true.
And I love too, thatit's not just me, right?
What you said about, what you saidabout now build a team, right?
And once you know who you are, then you know what you need.
And I, that, that bring like, there'sanother piece of the astrology

(39:21):
puzzle that I love, which I, I, I,when I first observed it, right.
And I thought, I thought about like, when I realized what it really was, which
was we've been just, we've just been.
Kambria [39:10.327]
Yup.
The Fresh King Benjamin [39:24.728]
We've just assigned certaintimes of the year to stars.
That's the genius of what wedid, which is fucking brilliant.

(39:44):
We don't fully acknowledge andunderstand as modern humans.
What that meant was, we werewalking around looking at the stars,
and after years of that, we werelike, that one keeps coming back.
Kambria [39:28.983]
Yeah.
Totally.
Kambria [39:36.407]
Yes, yes.
Kambria [39:52.471]
Yo, cycle, cycle, yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [39:53.208]
It's all that.
It's this cycle, right?
We start to learn the cycle.

(40:05):
And then what we start to do is westart to assign values to those cycles.
We start to say, and I think aboutthat a lot as a Gemini, right?
Because the Gemini energy, theway that I understand Gemini is
very, very, very like, oh, right.
That's that's that energy.
And it makes sense to me because forthousands of years, anyone born in

(40:25):
Gemini was born during one of the
Kambria [40:12.823]
Yep.
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [40:21.912]
best times of the year.
It was warm, it was happy, like there was plenty of food.
Like the formative experiences ofmy brain were late spring and early
summer, which is a, that createsa certain kind of human, right?

(40:47):
And someone who's born in, who's Aquariusis born in the middle of fucking winter.
And that creates a certain kind of human.
Kambria [40:23.671]
Totally.
Kambria [40:30.199]
Yes.
Kambria [40:39.511]
Yes, yes.
Kambria [40:46.615]
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [40:49.912]
So we're creating these differentkinds of humans, but then what
astrology does is it says, okay, let's turn these humans into a tribe.
Because what we need, I think aboutlike one of my kids is a Libra.

(41:09):
And I think about Libra as a, Librais like in the fall and it scales.
And so when I think about the art typeof Libra, I think, oh, it's autumn time.
When we've harvested, you knowwhat would be really valuable
to a tribe around harvest time?
Kambria [41:07.959]
Yep.
The Fresh King Benjamin [41:20.088]
a bunch of people who are obsessed withfairness, a bunch of people who like to

(41:33):
get out scales and measure everything andthen say, here's your winter provisions,
here's your winter provisions, right?
You don't wanna put me in chargeof dividing up the food at winter
time because you know what I'll do?
I'll be like, guys, we couldhave the sickest party.
Kambria [41:31.927]
Yeah.
Yup.
Kambria [41:43.351]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [41:44.632]
we could have the sickestparty right now and it would

(41:55):
be, and then we would all die.
And so it's actually kind of creatingall of these humans that you need.
You need all of that.
You need a Gemini.
Society needs Gemini's becausewhat we do is we pollinate.
We bounce around to everyone and talkto all of them and gather all the ideas.

(42:17):
I know all of the things.
Kambria [41:50.071]
Yes.
Kambria [41:59.735]
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [42:12.6]
Not all of the things, butI know a lot of the things.
I can't do things with most of thethings that I know, but if you happen
to bump into me at the right moment andtell you exactly, tell me exactly the
thing that you need, somewhere in here,if it's an idea, I probably have it.

(42:38):
I just got to go find it, right?
Kambria [42:30.871]
Yep.
Yeah, the archetype of Gemini that Isay when I teach about Gemini is because
Gemini and Sagittarius are sister signs.
They're opposite.
Sag is the ninth sign whichcovers the ninth house.
So you do have this reallycool balance thing going on.
But Geminis know a littlebit about everything.

(43:02):
The Fresh King Benjamin [42:52.728]
Yes.
Kambria [42:53.719]
They know a little bit abouteverything and Sagittarians
know a lot about a few things.
So think about it.
You went down this rabbit hole.
That's where you can be a dope.
It's like, if you just talk tosomebody like double Gemini, it's
so weird that you went down thiswhole secular thing, but not really
because you went down the secularpath because you have an influence.

(43:23):
I call it a jacket of Sagittariusbecause it was, you have your moon
and sun are both of a night house.
The Fresh King Benjamin [42:56.184]
YEAH!
The Fresh King Benjamin [43:11.064]
Oh, interesting.
The Fresh King Benjamin [43:23.608]
So talk to me about houses.
I don't understand and I wouldlove to understand what they are
astrologically, because that's what Ifind is knowing as soon as I knew what
the rising was, I'm like, oh, I get it.
It's the point when I'm still not surethat I understand the myth of rising.

(43:45):
So we could come to that in a bit,but I wanna know about houses,
because I don't understand houses.
Kambria [43:42.007]
Okay, I'll jump to houses becauseI really want because a lot of
people struggle with rising.
I don't want to miss out on this.
Okay, because the houses iskind of like a few layers down
and that can get confusing.
But with the rising.
So yeah, it's what what was itmoving through in that two and
a half hour window for 24 hours?

(44:06):
The rise of the sign.
So like I said, so we live in daybreak, let's just say the airport, we could take
back is being in our mountain view, wecould go down to 90th, we could go 114th.
There's all these routes, butwe still get to the airport.
So your rising sign is the route, basically the road you take to

(44:28):
become your purpose, your son.
So you have a Libra rising.
Okay.
The Fresh King Benjamin [44:15.256]
Okay.
The Fresh King Benjamin [44:28.856]
Oh my God.
Kambria [44:30.263]
So here's what's funny.
This is, and this is like,I can't write this shit.
Earlier you talked aboutthe night break comedy.
You're like, I know it'sfunny cause it's not about me.
You were talking about how youwanted to provide this equal

(44:49):
opportunity to comedians.
You're a fucking laborer rising.
So through this equal opportunity, you are getting to your
point, which is your sun sign.
The Fresh King Benjamin [44:44.728]
Yeah.
Kambria [44:56.471]
Your purpose is to be thatpollinator, be that networker, be
that communicative source, right?
The person who speakswhat most will not speak.

(45:13):
And you have a very, Geminis are verypowerful because Geminis convince Taurus.
Taurus is, it is fixed earth.
So everybody knows Taurus is themost, oh man, Taurus is the most
stubborn, immovable sign in the zodiac.
And Taurus is the most stubborn, immovable sign in the zodiac.
The Fresh King Benjamin [45:07.384]
Yeah.
Kambria [45:23.287]
Gemini, this is their power.
They come in and they say, hey,Taurus, you have to let go of spring.

(45:35):
We have to move into summer.
So Gemini has the power to take the moststubborn, most fixed earth sign in the
zodiac and let Taurus let go of spring.
So that's what you do.
So, but you do it through the path,if you will, the road, the route
of Libra, which is value system, harmony, equality, and balance.

(46:00):
The Fresh King Benjamin [45:31.032]
Mmm.
The Fresh King Benjamin [45:54.136]
Yeah, that is fascinating tome because that is, so the one
I have a lot of toruses in mylife that I have problems with.
Kambria [46:08.311]
So never tell a tourist whatto do and you're a Gemini, you
have to tell people what to do.
The Fresh King Benjamin [46:11.192]
And yeah, I love, look, look,I'm, I'm, I love, that's true.

(46:24):
I love telling people what todo and I'm only loosely attached
to what I tell them to do.
Kambria [46:23.447]
Totally, because you guysreally don't give a shit.
Yeah.
And you'll think you're making it up.
The Fresh King Benjamin [46:25.976]
Right, because like, I'll tell youwhat I think is the best thing for
you to do right now, it's this thing.
That's what I think.
I don't care, fucking, if you coulddo it, you could not do it, whatever.

(46:46):
But that Libra, so that Libra isfascinating to me because it sort of seen
it as the route to my purpose, right?
Because one of the things that I've donewith comedy, you'll see this tonight,
you're, when we, because what I'vedone with comedy is right, is I've,
Kambria [46:34.423]
Yeah.
Yeah.
Totally.
The Fresh King Benjamin [46:55.48]
I've said, I'm gonnado this comedy, right?
I'm gonna be this, I'm gonna bethis purpose, but the vehicle

(47:07):
that I'm using is Mormon polygamy.
And the way that I'm doing thatis I partner with this nonprofit
and I promote them every show.
So every show is really, there's partof it, which is I'm just doing my
thing, I'm having fun, but there'salso this justice part of it to it.

(47:30):
And,
That's also like part of the joke ofme being the true prophet of Mormonism
is that what I tell people is, look,if you make me the prophet, if you vote
for me for profit, which I'm currentlyrunning for a prophet of Mormonism, and
I will until I win, if you vote for mefor prophet of Mormonism, then I will

(47:50):
take all of the money that Mormonismmade and I will distribute it back to
the people that it was stolen from.
because that's what you shouldfucking do with money that you
take from people by lying to them.
You should give it back to them.
Kambria [47:55.223]
guess.
Kambria [47:59.255]
Right.
So with that, you're like, I havea hard time understand rising.

(48:12):
That is your rising sign.
That is where Libra comes into play.
And take this one step further.
The reason why people's rising signsare so important is whatever planet
governs that sign, Venus rules Libra.
That is kind of what wecall your chart ruler.

(48:37):
So you're, so you're, this is thething with astrology is again, it's
so layered as we are as human beings.
You and I being that I have a shitton of fixed fire and you have a
ton of Cardinal air, we can do this.
We literally could probablyroll this podcast for like three
fucking hours, we'd be fine.

(49:00):
Now you throw somebody on there with alot of earth or water and that will just.
The Fresh King Benjamin [48:51.704]
Oh, easily.
Easily.
Kambria [48:59.351]
delete, deplete them, right?
But your chart ruler is also Venus.
And so values, which is funny, because you literally said, I
have three key values, right?

(49:22):
I have three values.
You literally used the word, did you use the word value?
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [49:14.488]
Yeah, I did.
The Fresh King Benjamin [49:20.024]
Yeah, yeah, I have three core values.
Kambria [49:22.807]
That's what it was.
You have three core values.
Venus is not only just love, it islove, but it's actually what we value.
So the funny thing aboutall of that, right?

(49:42):
We did not, just so everyone knows, wedid not fucking plan this, we don't have
a script, but you are ruled by Venus.
So there's this, even thoughyou're this funny, hilarious, super
well -spoken, sarcastic jokester,
The Fresh King Benjamin [49:32.76]
Mmm.
Kambria [49:51.031]
You have this really beautiful balanceabout you, this loving, energetic

(50:03):
presence because you are ruled by Venus.
And like you said, a Gemini, let's say it was Gemini and
your rising was a fire sign.
That is going to be far moreassertive, far more aggressive.
Your message, probably you kind oftalked about the guy that came and
you, there's even though you makejokes, there's still this level of

(50:25):
appreciation and bridge building.
The Fresh King Benjamin [49:58.424]
Yeah.
Kambria [50:21.335]
which is able to do because you're risingas Libra and you're ruled by Venus.
The Fresh King Benjamin [50:21.688]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [50:27.064]
I love that so much as a language tounderstand myself because it get like,
so I'm on a mission of justice, right?

(50:46):
I demand that justice be given to thepeople that were wronged, to my people.
I demand that.
And there's also the reason that I demandthat is because I love these people.
Kambria [50:56.279]
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [50:57.08]
I love all of these humans, all of thesebeautiful, repressed, extorted humans.

(51:12):
And so when I see someone who'sthere, I'm like, look, I'm gonna
make fun of you, like tonight.
Tonight at our comedy show, we'regoing to have an active Mormon
comedian for the first time ever.
I'm very excited.
She's gonna do, and she's super funny.
And again, in order to get me to love you,

(51:33):
Kambria [51:05.335]
Yeah.
Kambria [51:14.807]
Thanks for watching!
Kambria [51:18.519]
Right.
Kambria [51:23.191]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [51:26.84]
All you have to be is funny andI will love you for forever.
And she's gonna be on there and I hopethat she makes fun of us for leaving
the church and I intend to make funof her for staying in the church.
But the reason that I feellike I can, because I really do
feel like I can say anything toanyone because I love everyone.

(51:58):
Kambria [51:28.279]
Totally.
Kambria [51:49.079]
Yes.
Yes.
And I just had to pull that up becausedo you know where your mercury is?
The Fresh King Benjamin [51:57.336]
It's in Taurus, isn't it?
Yeah.
Kambria [51:58.135]
It is.
And then do you know whereyour Venus and your Mars are?
Cancer and cancer.
So your fight, your fight planet, whichreally is your, so Mars is more than,

(52:20):
Mars is how you really take action, right?
It's not just fight, it's war, but it'slike, what move, what inspires you?
So if somebody is going tolike start a fucking nonprofit,
I want to see their Mars.
The Fresh King Benjamin [52:02.616]
Cancer.
The Fresh King Benjamin [52:07.16]
Cancer and cancer.
Yeah.
Kambria [52:27.447]
What moves them?
Cancer, motherly energy, love, emotions.

(52:41):
Like, totally, totally.
The Fresh King Benjamin [52:35.832]
Look, I have pigtails right now.
I'm a giant dude moth.
Kambria [52:41.175]
Yeah, you are a dude mom.
And most of your stuff, like you andI, you know, we can come back again,
but most of your placements reside inthe ninth house and the 10th house,
which is philosophical, true seeking.

(53:02):
And then it's how do youshow up in your community?
The 10th house.
There you are.
The Fresh King Benjamin [53:02.552]
Here I am, like this.
Kambria [53:04.599]
What is your career?
How are you showing up in theneighborhood and the community?
What is your work life?
And it's like, it's all mixed, right?
Your work is your community.
Your community is your work, those things.

(53:23):
So it's just, you know, even if we madeit up, at least it feels good and we're
laughing about it and it gives us awhole shit ton of validation, you know?
The Fresh King Benjamin [53:12.312]
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [53:24.952]
Right.
And what it really does, what's coolabout this, and this is why I would really
recommend, I love that you said this too, that the way that people should start is
by going to someone and getting a reading.
Because I would really recommend thattoo, because what I've found, I've

(53:45):
had one other person also do the firstperson that did a reading with me.
I sat with them and I talked with them.
And this reading has been likesuper, like really insightful.
And what it's done is it'sgiven me tools, right?
So now when I think about, I'm like,
Kambria [53:51.831]
Yes.
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [53:54.072]
Because I know that I'm community minded.
Of course I am, right?
That's all I've been doingfor the last six months.

(54:07):
I know that I care abouttruth and God, right?
I'm pretending to be a prophetwho translated the real book of
the real golden plate that I foundat Burning Man into a scriptural
text from God that God talks in.
And God is very angry at thepeople who started Mormonism.

(54:28):
He thinks that they...
Kambria [54:19.671]
Yeah.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [54:22.552]
He's like, look, how dareyou speak in my name, right?
So all of those things are, that'spart of my, that's part of my world.
And to be able to sort of see thatreflected in a chart that then I
can then use and be like, okay, let's be intentional about this.
How am I, community is important to me.
Okay, obviously, yeah, I've gotthese 10th house placements.

(54:50):
How am I, and then to be ableto assign those, all of those,
it's such a useful tool.
but it came through this dialogue.
And I think that's actually reallyimportant in the astrological
journey because that's how it wouldhave been done when we invented
astrology the first time, right?

(55:11):
Is that we didn't have computers.
We didn't have, someone had towrite your birth chart down when
you were born, because therewas never gonna be another one.
And so they wrote itdown when you were born.
Kambria [55:11.255]
Yeah.
Yup.
Yup.
The Fresh King Benjamin [55:17.688]
and then they talked with you about it.
You would examine, you'd look at it, right?
You'd come up, you'd bump up into adifficult thing in your life, right?

(55:33):
Like you're saying, right now, there's aTaurus in my life that's causing mayhem.
Kambria [55:19.415]
Yes.
The Fresh King Benjamin [55:34.04]
Okay, great.
Now I've got a tool I can be like, okay, well, I can tell this tourist what to
do, but I gotta do it in Libra, right?
And that now shifts the way thatI'm gonna try to show up there.
Kambria [55:46.359]
And what I would say, I invite youto not ever tell the tourists what

(55:58):
to do, but you find a way for thetourists to believe that the thing that
they are going to do was their idea.
The Fresh King Benjamin [56:01.688]
Yep, I'm gonna have to,fortunately I'm very tricksy.
Kambria [56:04.983]
Well, like I was saying earlier, the onlyperson who could ever convince Taurus
to give up spring was a Gemini, right?

(56:19):
So there is this...
So understanding that, right?
That's why I say get a birthchart because when you have...
I have not...
I have read total strangers charts.
I actually haven't read...
My girlfriend even the other day waslike, you have never read my chart.
And I'm like, well, I'm talkingabout your chart like 24 seven.
She's like, yeah, butyou've never read it.
I'm like, cool, go towork and then call me.
We'll have an actual birthchart ready because I do them

(56:40):
over the phone because...
most people retain the most there.
But the way at least people havethe feedback I have gotten is
thank you because now I can use it.
Like I'm passionate about peopleunderstanding astrology from a standpoint
that you can use it when you are,you know, working with your son or
working with this difficult tourist.
Or for me, when I do real estate, I pullmy client's birth chart or just find out

(57:05):
like when were they burned and they havefire sign, are they earth or they air?
And then what, what like,
How am I going to adjustto help them, right?
So, and then knowing those thingsabout ourselves, if you know, cool,
the reason why you can say the thingsyou do and get away with it, a lot of
that has to do with your Libra risingand you have Venus and Mars and Cancer.

(57:28):
So it does come from moreof a balanced loving place.
Okay, sometimes I say those things,I have a shit ton of fire and then
it just comes off really too much.
And people are like, you're an asshole.
The Fresh King Benjamin [57:25.624]
Yeah.
Kambria [57:34.135]
And I'm like, wait, what?
I don't think that's all about that.
Right.
But fire like, right.
So.
The Fresh King Benjamin [57:40.696]
Right.
And what I love about astrologyagain is we need that fire.

(57:53):
Right.
Like we need that fire and weneed that water and we need
that air and we need that earth.
Right.
We all need to just emote and expressand be what we are because that actually
that that ends up flowing really well.
Kambria [57:46.935]
Yes.
Yep.
Kambria [57:54.807]
Yes.
Kambria [58:04.151]
What's what's powerful too is whenagain I do duo readings for parents or

(58:15):
children or couples or even people andthey're kind of at a crossroads You
can absolutely take astrology and youknow, we talked about this this big huge
placement of pluto being an Aquariusand the french revolution and what's
happening in the world that maybe weyou know, whatever i'm gonna leave that

(58:35):
to the side and it's gonna it's gonna
Retrograde back into Capricornthe weeks before the United
States presidential election.
So whatever you can totally use it howI read is Especially for the first few
readings because I'll have people callme back right at three four months I
believe in trying to teach people sothat they can go live this way, but we

(58:56):
layer it So like today we talked a lotabout your Sun Moon rising If we were
to have another reading in a few months, then we dive a little bit more into like
your Mercury your Venus your Mars your
personal planets and how those becauseas you go out and you start to see
that you're like, oh, this is comingout or I can see that about myself.
Eventually down the road, you will knowyourself well enough and you'll start

(59:18):
to track your own cycles and patternsbecause astrology can be used for that.
I don't read it that way.
I want people to like, let'sstrip away the conditioning.
Let's strip away theshit we've been through.
Let's strip away a lot of the trauma.
And it's like reminding peoplewho they are at the soul level.
of how we're built.
And then we have this beautifulunderstanding too, right?

(59:41):
We start to, I never have morecompassion or empathy for humans than
I do when I'm reading a birth chart.
Cause I'm like, oh, okay.
That's why they do what they do.
And to ask them to not, somebody withnine air or nine cardinal placements
to ask you to not be constantly comingup with new ideas and new ways of doing
things or a new comedy show or a wayto do daybreak this way or that way.

(01:00:04):
The Fresh King Benjamin [59:41.496]
Mmm.
Kambria [59:58.455]
That is literally asking youto not to be who you are.
And that's not fair.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:00:03.]
Yeah, I love that and I love tothat just reminds me what you
said right at the beginning, whichis this is a language, right?
It's a language.
It takes time to learn a language, right?
We become skilled throughrepetition, through practice.
This was such a fantastic conversation.

(01:00:27):
If someone wanted to continuea conversation with you about
astrology, where would they find you?
Kambria [01:00:10.551]
Yup.
Kambria [01:00:25.751]
So Instagram, so I have this righthere, Kaya Community is both with
K's because I spell my name with a K.
So Instagram is Kaya underscorecommunity on Instagram or
kayacommunity .com is the website.
You can book a reading there, follow us on Instagram.

(01:00:49):
And then I am, I kind of talkedto you about starting to do
astrology nights here in daybreak.
So whatever you're doing.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:00:47.672]
Yeah, tell me aboutastrology night and daybreak.
Kambria [01:00:50.391]
Yeah, I just, again, I'm really passionateabout people having this as a tool.
So in Taurus season, so this is anotherthing, Taurus season just in general
is a great season to stick to whatyou started in Aries season, right?

(01:01:11):
Gemini season's coming up.
So it's like, I would dowhat's called Gemini night.
So people come, biscoffs, get a coffee, hang out, and I'm gonna talk about
the art type of Gemini and what thatmeans and how to deal with the Gemini,
how to work with them, what makesthem happy, what pisses them off.
And then also how even howthis energy affects us.
So Gemini season, give you thislittle tidbit, is the best season

(01:01:34):
to market ourselves because Gemini'sare the greatest marketers, right?
You know, so cool.
You have a new business, you'relaunching a book or you're like, hey,
I've kind of, you know, we're emergingfrom winter and Gemini season really
is the season to market your stuff.
Be your own best marketer.

(01:01:54):
So talking of the thing.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:01:32.728]
That's true.
I know.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:01:48.28]
I can't wait for that night.
Do you know when that's going to be yetor it's just gonna be in Gemini season?
Kambria [01:01:54.423]
It will be in Geminiseason and I will plan it.
And again, if people follow us onInstagram and follow the website
and you know, definitely somethingthat's coming up for me is being a
little bit clearer about the events.

(01:02:14):
Um, so I don't have a ton.
I have decent amount ofcardinal placements, right?
But we'll put that out and thenwe'll just say, and then a cancer
season will be the same thing.
What is cancer season?
Leo.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:02:17.912]
Yes, I love that.
I'm so excited for that.
And then you also have, because thisis airing on today on Sunday, you
also have an event today, don't you?

(01:02:35):
Kambria [01:02:25.399]
Okay.
Kambria [01:02:29.047]
Yes, tonight is the five yearanniversary of Kaia being in existence.
Five years ago on 55 was thefirst like women's day of healing.
And I had speakers, we did energywork and it was so profound.
So yeah, it's just been in existencefor five years and a lot of beautiful
community events have happened.
So we're having that at555 at Biscots as well.

(01:02:56):
Just come hang out, come meet cool people.
We're doing some giveaways.
And then on May 12th,which is Mother's Day,
I'm doing what's called a sadhana.
It's a early morning meditation, specifically starts in the dark.
So that by the time it finishes,it is the sun has been, is up.
And the whole point is to greetthe sun before the sun greets you.

(01:03:17):
And it's a very personal kind ofprocess, but I'll be doing that at
a studio in Sandy on Mother's Day.
That's also going to be listedon our Instagram and website.
And that's a really powerful thing too.
So come to either one of those.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:03:10.584]
Mmm.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:03:23.512]
Cool.
I'm going to be at theanniversary party at Biscots.
We're gonna have so much fun,so definitely come out, y 'all.

(01:03:39):
And then if you are a local personhere in Daybreak and you wanna get in
on this night break comedy, you cango to my website, thefreshkingbenjamin
.com, and in the top, there will be alittle menu item that will say night
break comedy, and you can click onthat, and then you can buy tickets.
And those tickets are gonna sell out.
Kambria [01:03:28.791]
Yeah, cool.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:03:52.664]
because they sold out fast andwe're only doing four shows in May.

(01:04:06):
So there are only four chances tocome and see comedy in your local
community right here in Daybreak in May.
And if you don't get it, then someoneelse will and then you'll be super
sad, which would be so soul crushingfor you to be sad in this beautiful
May weather that we're having.
So come out to that.
Kambria [01:03:52.823]
Yeah, they did.
They sold out fast.
Yeah.
The Fresh King Benjamin [01:04:19.704]

(01:04:26):
Cambria, thank you so much for comingon and everybody stay safe out there.
Kambria [01:04:25.207]
