On May 21st, the FWC Commissioners voted 4-1 to change the hunting rules to have a bear hunt every year using dogs to chase/kill bears, allowing baiting of bears, have no check stations, allowing archery and delegating annual quota to the Executive Director., public would have no input. The final FWC vote will take place in Aug for a Dec (23-day blackbear hunt season
