Hello dear friend. In the last episode of season one, we unpack emotional eating, a pattern many of us fall into when trying to soothe emotional pain or navigate life’s challenges.
I share parts of my own story, from childhood into adulthood, and how I worked through the root causes behind my emotional eating using tools like therapy and journaling.
We also talk through the spiritual side of emotional eating: its links to gluttony and idolatry, and how it can be a sign that we need to grow in the fruit of self-control.
This conversation also invites us to check where we might be turning to food instead of turning to God, and to step into greater freedom with Him.
So grab a warm cup of tea, your journal, and join me for our last hangout for the season.
