As I consulted to hundreds of businesses I have observed and heard things to make me conclude that most companies:  run on 2-3 cylinders when they have eight, have been described too many times as being like high-school and are degrading to employees due to a large amount of atrocious behavior that we kind of know about but for some reason are willing to accept.  One only has only to look at the current anti-work trends and social movements upon us to understand that people want no more of this bad behavior.  Although there are many reasons for this current anti-work movement, at its core is the fact that most large corporations are toxic, unhealthy and incredibly ineffective places to work.
