The Terminator film series is a wild mess of continuity, but this super interesting fan theory only focuses on the original The Terminator (1984) and also helps explain away some of the weirdness of the legendary Terminator 2. And most importantly, the theory actually holds up and doesn't require a whole bunch of extra explanation or other BS, just what's in the movie we have. So...is it possible that the Sarah Connor we know — played by Linda Hamilton — wasn't actually THE Sarah Connor who gave birth to the John Connor we see in the opening scenes of the movie. It sounds nuts, but it kind of makes sense....
