We're saying so long to 2024 in APEisode51 (playlist here). And as my stepmom used to say, don't let the door hit ya in the backside on yer way out! We roll into (and out of) the APEisode with music from Wayne of APEZ and his project Architects of Umbra, with the tune Burning Sands. With no Nestkeeping, we start right into a RANT about Kid Charlemagne, and roll directly into another about MFSB, the Philadelphia creation made up of the areas best session players and the force behind a bunch of hits. All that before we get started on our regular inZanity. We get down to challenges with a segment of Ask and Ye Shall Deceive. Bowie is Afraid of Americans, Ryan Hamilton is avoiding his EXes, and Steve Earl's mother is PO'd about the Devil's Right Hand. And that's not even half the stuff we cover in the segment. We move on with a round of TwiZt & Shout. We've got lyrics from The Waitresses, Bill Hailey, Marvin Gaye, STP, and all the alternate universe Christmas tunes Reid could find. He can't help but be an APEZ! As usual there's lots of factoids and info on the music and the artists. And, we're both just as goofy as we've been all year. So let's go, jump on the sleigh as it leaves 2024 behind and let's get APEisode 51 on the road!
