יפעת בעלת תואר שני באמנות סאונד מאוניברסיטת לונדון לאמנויות (UAL) ותואר ראשון בהלחנה רב-תחומית מהאקדמיה למוזיקה בירושלים.
עבודותיה הוצגו בארץ ובעולם, בין השאר בבית אנה טיכו (מוזיאון ישראל), גלריית ״בית התה״ של בית הנסן (ירושלים) ועוד.
