Speaker 1 (00:00):
About the status of your Uh nothing right now, We're
gonna get mrid marrow and see. So I mean it
doesn't feel the best, but uh just leave it at that,
so we'll see them all. What happened I on that sack,
I got hit on the back side and uh yeah,
(00:21):
basically just my arm was on fire kind of thing,
and so I tried to throwing a couple on the
sideline and I couldn't at that point. So yeah, it
has nothing to do with tapping out of a game
or anything like that. I love my teammates and I'll
go to the very end for them in this fan
base and everybody. So that's that's what hurts me, is
(00:42):
like I I couldn't finish the game. But again, we'll see,
we'll see them all.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
This is that similar hanging to what you have.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
A little bit. But there we did some tests with
like U see all stuff, and I'm good in that regard,
but we just gotta go get imaging on its morow
and see the whole thing.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
So starting with.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
The fourth quarter, got really pass heavy there. I think
the second interception came on tent on the tenth straight pass,
which I don't think I've seen before in a close
game with this team. Was that something that you saw
with Kyle that you guys talked about like specifically attacked,
something you saw with Dedroid?
Speaker 1 (01:20):
Can you say it again? Sorry?
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Ten passes really really pass heavy and the fourth quarter
there were ten straight throws, I think sixteen straight throws
to end the game. Was that something specific that that
you saw with the troits defensive attack, The fact that
you guys went around went away from the run game.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
I think you know, going to the game, we didn't
say anything like that, like, hey, we're gonna throw a
throw throw. Obviously we go into the game with the
mindset of we need to run the ball first and
that opens up everything else. But just to flow the
game how it was going. I think our guys winning
and man coverage all that kind of stuff helped, and
we were in a groove and so uh yeah, at
that point in the game, we were just being aggressive
and trying to win the game. However it took and
(02:00):
for us, we thought the past game was going really well,
so and I and it was so it just sucks
with the with the two turnovers, crucial turnovers, and but yeah,
that was our mindsets was brought first one, uh, you know,
just got away from me. I left it too high
for Ricky. And then the second one, I saw the
(02:23):
linebacker suck in and I thought I was gonna have
some some space for Ricky, and then sure enough there's
a safety there, uh in the disguise coverage and so
you know, he just jumped it.
Speaker 4 (02:34):
So I know you've been asked. But just to clarify, Kasha,
the hand mentioned it goes to Kash hand mentioned that
it was more of a nerdning and kind of like
lose fielding, which was me in a mind of like
hitting your moneybone or are you saying being that it
was on fire. It was like a sharp pain shooting
of it down your own.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
No, it was in the in the moment, like I said,
it was just it just felt I don't know, heavy
in a sense. So tomorrow we'll have an answer. So
I'll leave it at that.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Ellie, do you want to play? Obviously health is gonna dictate,
but do you really want to push the.
Speaker 1 (03:11):
If we got a game, regular season game that uh,
we have an opportunity to suit up and we're healthy.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
Man.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yes, for my guys, for this organization, I want to
finish the season with our guys relate to the I.
Speaker 5 (03:25):
Don't know some of the out the outside noise that
players should sit out a game to retain their health
going into the next season, and that's something you can
even comprehend.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, I don't even know if that's really a thing.
I don't know for sure if that's even a thing
in the NFL. Obviously college with like you know, going
into the draft and stuff. But with you know, we're here,
We're in a professional level and this is as good
as it gets. So for me, it's like, why wouldn't
I play for my team and try to get some
momentum going for the next year with our guys and
and you know, make a statement to everybody here and
(03:59):
that's gonna be here next year that you know, I'm
a competitor and I want to be out in the
field any chance I get. So that's my mindset.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
I thought, to date, what did you see from him
in this game? And and have you seen that in
practice last couple.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Of weeks where it's coming.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, I mean we've all seen that. And Ricky since
he's been here, the way he runs routes and he's
explosive and uh, you know, for all of us. It's like, man,
we just need to get him in some really good
situations and and get him the ball because he's a playmaker,
and so tonight to be able to do that for him. Man,
really really happy for him. I know that that'll be
good for us moving forward, just our chemistry and and
(04:36):
so more than anything, really happy for him. And he
deserves it, and he's going to continue to do that
kind of stuff for us.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Anything extra with him. Obviously he wasn't around and for
most of all August, September, October, maybe you know, after practices,
just to build that that chemistry that earlier.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah, yeah, we have, you know, all throughout the season.
We've had a couple of days where we stayed after
and make sure we get some routes in and and
you know, he's still so young and like a sponge,
you know when it comes to learning route trees and
our offense and stuff. And so for me, it's like
he's gonna listen, He's willing to be coached. And so
we've had multiple days where we stay after and you know,
(05:15):
I sort of explained to him, you know, what I'm
thinking on a route, and then he tells me how
he's feeling. So I'm really excited man to have him
and to continue to work with them.
Speaker 5 (05:23):
So obviously very you know, for most of his rookie season,
he was just last week. His confidence has never wanned.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
He seemed pretty convincing.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
I'm sorry, who's this, Ricky? Ricky?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Yeah, confidence has never pretty convincing and saying I'm fine.
Speaker 5 (05:40):
You know if you notice that, I mean just that,
you know, it sounds like he's had the.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Most productive rookie season. Hasn't got down.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
No, I mean, uh, more than anything, dude, Like Ricky
knows who he is and you know his purpose in life,
like you could see it like in the locker room
and stuff. Yes, he's a rookie, but he's very mature
and I just love his attitude. After games, he'll text
me and just talk about routes and stuff like he's
he's hungry and which I love. And he tells me
time and time again, like if I miss something or
(06:12):
if he could have done something better, like he'll text
me and just feel like, dude, I want I want
the best for you and for us moving forward. So
like Ricky's on the same page as us Man and
uh as a quarterback. That's all you could ask for.
And so he's had a great attitude all year. Obviously,
it's a long year as a rookie and you go
through so much and that dude has been through more
than anybody. So for him to come out tonight and
(06:33):
just compete and stay consistent with his routine all year long,
you know, then you see it, and uh, he showed
it tonight. So really happy for him. Thanks guys.
