He was trying to hold the linebacker and hit that
guy the inside out of the numbers, and uh, he
held him a little bit. But I thought the linebacker
made a hell of a play flying out there. When

back over the ball. But I thought it was more
of a good play by that guy. But besides that
one miss cue or mistake, I thought he played pretty well.

on those first two series with Ashton Gen for rookie?

I look like he was running hard, looked he was
lowering his pads. They got him a couple of good
looks too, got him in space a couple of times.
But it's nice to see him this week and he's
gonna have a good future ahead of him.

that sort of voml shop expect from that?

Oh yeah, I think that's pretty normal with everybody. The
more you play with someone, the better timing you get.

College, it takes a while to learn the timing of
an offense, and when you miss all of vtas in
all of training camp, you're usually a little behind on
that timing.

Sometimes he gets too concerned with beating the guy and
understanding that he's got to do it in the time
of when Brock's looking at him. And that's something those
guys have really been working through and getting really good at.

I saw another pick, saw him do a victory lap
after it. I know if we're going to get him back.
I think he went to both end zones during the play.
