Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, guys. Injuries from the game. Jake Tong just
(00:03):
had a stingers lash shoulder.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
He ended up returning.
Speaker 1 (00:05):
Ricky Purcell had a knee, came back for a little bit,
but then it was out. Juwan Jennings Ribs ended up
returning go ahead.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
How did you think that the whole game your guys
had the right energy level or would it just seemed
a little.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
Slower than you The rhythm was the law? Did you
feel that today?
Speaker 2 (00:24):
No, not at all.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
I've thought our energy was fine, and I thought it
was you know, I think rhythm was tough, probably with
the four turnovers, and I think we had one pun
in each half, four turnovers, one of them that I
think would have been a touchdown. It's tough to overcome
those four turnovers. Then you give up a punt return
for a touchdown, and then we didn't get any So
(00:47):
so I had a chance to win that had the
ball with two and a half minutes left down five,
I believe on around the fifty yard line, but then
had another turnover.
Speaker 5 (00:55):
A party second interception. Was that ball tipped at the line?
Speaker 2 (00:58):
Scream you believe it's like it?
Speaker 4 (01:01):
I mean, what did you think of his game?
Speaker 5 (01:03):
It seemed like some passes were high and an off target.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
I mean, does the tone factor into.
Speaker 6 (01:10):
Any of that?
Speaker 2 (01:10):
I can I say him? I don't think so. And
we all got to do better. He had some good
plays today, but we all got to do better today.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
A touchdown on the one of McCaffrey's unhealthy Yes, as.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
He just asked, was about party.
Speaker 7 (01:27):
But when it comes to party, did it seem like
he was just trying to knock some dust off maybe,
or some rust off when he got back out there.
Speaker 4 (01:32):
What'd you see from her?
Speaker 1 (01:35):
I saw some inconsistency with her whole offense. Moved the ball,
but really killed herself on four different turnovers, two her
fumbles and two her picks. One was off a tip,
one was just how to reach a Christians what it
looked like he's waiting for him to get through there.
The guy was grabbing him, so it took a little
bit longer than usual and just sailed on him a bit.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
And I thought the other one got tipped but made
some place.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
I had a chance to win it at the end,
and it looked like they got through on that last blitz,
but he just got to protect the ball.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
There. There's a secret first handle.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
The before the third down there, Yes, and they didn't
get to them.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Did you did you signal that very clearly to them.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Or yes, and they told me they messed up.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
So and then on the on the challenge, you look
like we all saw the replay at so much time.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Yeah, did you think that was reversible?
Speaker 1 (02:22):
I did think I thought I saw one that I
thought it was a chance to be reversible. So we
took our shot on it, especially I think it was
the third and fifteen. It was a huge momentum change there,
and I thought it was worth taking it.
Speaker 6 (02:32):
But when you tried to decline, you called time out there,
so they can't go back in all.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Time out because they weren't doing what we wanted them
to do, and that's where they kind of go back.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
So so they just apologized.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Africame William and saw we're exchanging words. Are you surprised
that I assume sign scaling. Are you surprised at maybe
it wasn't thrilled about that.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
No, try to clear and clear it up, but I
know what happens, so I'm not sure. I don't think
you should be that sensitive about it, but that's what
it is.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
Not too worried about it, Ricky.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Is there any indication severy with Ricky and his knee?
Is it a reabgervation or any indication of the spy? Okay,
the indication is spary.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I'm not sure yet.
Speaker 8 (03:18):
Special team has been the issue since last year. You know,
this game, there is a return touchdown.
Speaker 4 (03:22):
And I think there could have been blocking it back
and being called.
Speaker 8 (03:26):
Do you think the same way or that play was
there and you'll kind of shot up before you break it.
Speaker 2 (03:31):
The clip, Yeah, it looked like one to me. That's
what I thought I saw.
Speaker 8 (03:35):
But is there some thing special teams could have done better?
Speaker 9 (03:38):
You know more?
Speaker 10 (03:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:39):
Tackle the guy on that one, you know, I wish
we would have got that call, and then I'll see
a close run film. The other one. We did have
a guy on him. He broke to that run tackle,
broke through an arm tackle, and then he hit it.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I'm not sure what happened with the rest of it.
Speaker 8 (03:54):
What was your view of the up touched down interception
or the penalty that they called on the play.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
You obviously lose a lot without Nick, but how surprised
were you with the lack of preasion You guys were
able to put on with that passers state.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I mean, I have to watch the tape.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
I mean, I know we didn't get any sacks and stuff,
but you know, I thought their main thing was they
ran the ball. They got some explosives in the run
game especially, I think they got a fifty yard or
something like that. So I think that is tough to
generate pass rush from their dependent on the run like that.
And it looked like they had way too many quick
throws that I thought we need to be more competitive
on the quarterback got the ball out of his hands fast.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
When you do that, there's not many opportunities for sacks.
Speaker 11 (04:38):
A lot of people will say this was a track
game with your you know, rams limming in just a
few days.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
Did you feel that at all that it was?
Speaker 11 (04:47):
After you, you know, you get the past start and
then what do you do to kind of make sure
that you're ready for.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
The track game at all. We've been watching film on
them all week. We knew they were a good team,
and we knew we'd have to play really well. And
regardless of what we did playing wise, when you have
four turnovers and GID zero, that's kind of obsolete.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
But you can't let one become two. We've got a
game here in four days.
Speaker 1 (05:11):
Guys, gotta get home, get to sleep, start recovering right away,
and we'll get the players in on Tuesday.
Speaker 10 (05:16):
You look like you might have got one with Stout,
but did you get the call with the other way?
But I guess eleven games now without an interception that
last year doesn't count. But what's going to take that
to turn that around?
Speaker 1 (05:29):
We got to catch one, and we've had our hands on.
We've had our hands on to me at least one
each game. You know, the one way that we did
come down with with Stout and unfortunately they called a
penalty on that play.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
But we we got it. When we get an opportunity
to do it, we got to make sure to come
down with it.
Speaker 4 (05:45):
What are you seeing seeing out of the running game
week after week that's not really breaking through?
Speaker 1 (05:50):
Not enough explosives really, I mean, we're going to extremely
heavy two shell defenses, and when you you would have
I would have thought we would have done better today.
Because you get heavy two shell defenses, you can't get
a big explosive run. Usually it comes down to third down,
and that's why we struggled out the week before. But
I thought we did real well on third down today.
We should have kept us out there and kept us going.
(06:12):
That's what's so frustrating with the turnovers that we had.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
You get a team out of playing a lot of
two shell. I mean, what can you do to exploit
two shell.
Speaker 1 (06:20):
You keep attacking them and score points. You run the ball,
you make them come up there tighter, you stay on
the field.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
Stuff I think would have happened. I think that's why
we moved the ball a lot today.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
I don't think moving the ball is a problem, but
you gotta score points for it to count. I think
we had two chances in the red zone that I
believe we should have scored on. We didn't get it done,
but I believe it was there. And then I was
happy with us everywhere else in terms of staying on
the field and moving on third down. But when you
turn it over on first and second, it really doesn't matter.
Speaker 11 (06:48):
We just tal to have a game in four days
so that you don't dwell on this and you produce
look for it.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
There's no difference to me. I'd be the same either way.
Speaker 12 (06:57):
There's two games this season brought because five turnovers.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
There's a lot that goes into that. How would you
diagnose what the problem is there?
Speaker 1 (07:07):
It's two games, so there's no absolute to what the
problem is. I think we just talked about what the
turnovers happened. One tip was unfortunate, the one just out
of Christian's reach. Wish it would have been closer to him,
and then you just got to protect the ball in
the pocket when the guys were there.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
It was strong over three of the four turnovers.
Speaker 13 (07:24):
Was not a matter of rust or him not being
one hundred percent healthy that he was resmall for for
three of the four turnovers. Was that a matter of
rust from him not playing or not being one hundred
percent healthy?
Speaker 9 (07:35):
Neither.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
It was just what happened on those four plays or
three plays, kind of what I've been saying.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
I'm just salla bringing it up the sign stuff last week.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
Was that strategy that were you, you know, hey, let's
bring it up, let's see if we can knock along
their name a little bit.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Or was that just Robert saying it?
Speaker 1 (07:51):
That was Robert just saying that and talked along with it.
So I cleaned it up the next day.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
He couldn't piss a mock.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
But yeah, I mean I know, it's not whether the
team is matter or not, but it could piss off
the other team, could piss off the other coaches.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
That's something you thought was the right thing to do.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah, really, we don't totally care if coaches are pissed off.
I mean, that's why that has no effect on a game.
So I think Saul was paying him a big confident
what they're good at doing, it's not illegal, said nothing
illegal about it. I think when you use the word
sign stealing and what headlines give with those type of words,
I think that then the perception of that becomes wrong.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
And I don't think that was the goal. What he
wanted to do.
Speaker 8 (08:32):
It was this is a team's first game without Bosa,
and there's been some talks about trade or maybe signing
for someone, you know, to try to replace it.
Speaker 4 (08:40):
Obviously it's not to replace it on both the rough front.
Speaker 8 (08:43):
And I'm sorry, I'm just saying, this is the first
game the team that's played without Bosa, and there's been
talks about signing someone. We're trading for someone to try
to replace him. Obviously it's difficult with his presence on
the field. Can't give us anything on.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
That or you don't replace BLSA. It's good, all right. Thanks.
Speaker 5 (09:05):
There was a bit of a shouting match after the game.
Were you between Shalla and Cohen that the head coach
of the Shaguards?
Speaker 9 (09:15):
Were you aware of that?
Speaker 4 (09:16):
And do you know what that was about?
Speaker 14 (09:19):
No, I I had no idea that even happened, you know, Yeah,
I have no idea. Yeah, it's just the emotions of
the game, I guess, And uh, just leave it at that.
Speaker 13 (09:33):
What did you think of the defense? They got their
running game going in this one?
Speaker 14 (09:37):
Yeah, I mean it was it was we took too
long to get going that first half was it was
not good enough, you know, the explosive runs, leaky yardage.
I think in the second half it was it was better,
but still not up to our standard. You know, guys
need to know where they're fitting, getting on and off blocks,
making tackles, wrapping, driving for five sou looking at you know,
(09:59):
obviously be better on that this week going into next week.
Speaker 11 (10:02):
The term trap game hits run around a lot.
Speaker 4 (10:04):
Did that feel a little bit like that what this
was for all?
Speaker 9 (10:07):
Not at all?
Speaker 14 (10:08):
I think you know, that's a great football team right there,
and we didn't play good enough to win that game
at all. You know the fact that we were even
still in that game, you know, down five, with an
opportunity to win it, having been down four to zero
and or three to zero up at that point in
the turnover battle with a special teams touchdown. You you
would have thought that we'd be getting blown out by
twenty to thirty at that point, right, So didn't play
(10:30):
good enough to win at all. I look at opportunities
that were missed, you know, by me. I had two
opportunities to you know, pick the ball off. Didn't happen.
You know, balls on the ground, we don't get it. So, yeah,
we got to find ways on defense to take the
ball away. We got to played way better run defense.
And luckily it's a short week, so we get to
correct that right away.
Speaker 15 (10:51):
Great Rams one today you guys are both three and
one heading it a short week. How important is it
to flush this game mentally going.
Speaker 9 (10:59):
On to a short Yeah, extremely important. You know.
Speaker 14 (11:02):
Obviously the Rams are are a great football team. It's
on the road divisional game, uh, you know, after dropping
this game, so we got to you know, completely flush
it obviously, learn from our mistakes and get ready for
a huge divisional game.
Speaker 9 (11:15):
On Thursday.
Speaker 4 (11:16):
This is too obvious.
Speaker 8 (11:17):
Have a question, but how different is it without Nick
on the field with you in terms of no perspective?
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Then how the Jaguars approached you?
Speaker 14 (11:25):
Yeah, I mean obviously we knew the challenges without having
Nick out there, but I wouldn't I wouldn't say there
was a certain feel out there that was noticeable. I mean,
of course you want, you want one of your best
players to be out there, but yeah, I don't. I
don't know if they if they game planned us any different.
Y'all have to look at the tape.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
You guys have. I'm sorry I walked in Lake.
Speaker 10 (11:48):
You had the there's stress takeaways to the point you
you had a special ball meeting here just to stress.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Them and get them. You got to close down a
couple of games on defense. But the picks haven't been
there yet.
Speaker 10 (12:00):
Help how much you would be stressing the takeaway aspect
to the tax a few weeks?
Speaker 14 (12:04):
Yeah, No, we stressed it every week. You know. I
hate to say that it's just not bouncing our way.
But you know, like I mentioned before, for you got
in here that you know, I look at those two
that I could have had today. You know, it's just
making making the most of those opportunities. We punched one
out and we don't get on it. You know, it's
just you know, up to stout had had one but
got called back with the penalty. So it's just continuing
(12:25):
to find ways to get it. Luckily, we have a
short week to try to write that wrong and try
and take some away on Thursday night.
Speaker 13 (12:30):
Fred, you're one of the leaders in the room. How
would you like your team to react to this loss?
Speaker 14 (12:35):
Yeah, short term memory, I mean I think you got
to obviously you can't just like put it, Yeah, you
got to put it behind you, but you need to
learn from why did we lose this game? I mean,
it's pretty obvious that you're not going to win a
game if you're four to zero in turnover battle, you know,
special teams touchdowns, like we got to play better, Like
we didn't play good today. Our run defense was horrible.
You know, if we just played even a little bit
better than what that was, Let's say we were too
(12:57):
oh in the turnover battle, like, maybe we win that game,
which is still you know, credit to everybody in that
locker room. The fact that we have fighters to continue
to fight and you know, still be in a game
five down five, but that's not winning football at all, right,
So we gotta find ways to take take the ball away,
take care of it, clean things up on all three phases,
and we'll give ourselves plenty of chances to win and
(13:18):
going forward.
Speaker 8 (13:19):
This is the first game the team play without Nick.
How do you feel like, you know, the team came
promo generating pressure without him?
Speaker 14 (13:25):
For Yeah, we just gotta you know, everybody's got to
do their one eleven out there. It's not it's not
anybody trying to make up for Nick. It's about just
guys doing their job right, everybody up front, guys in
the back, and playing sticky. If we play together all
eleven on the field, then we'll get exactly what we need.
Speaker 9 (13:43):
Good guys.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Four turnovers in this game, any or more, all of
them involving you.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
How do you break down this generally? What happened during
all the turnovers?
Speaker 12 (13:56):
I mean, we can't do it the NFL. And it
starts with me, you know, throwing better balls and being
smart with the ball and and so I think it
really starts there and I just got to be better.
So but outside of that, like as an offense, like
It's something that we harp on every single day, and
our team knows it. Offense needs to protect the ball.
Defense needs to go take it like that's our thing.
(14:17):
And so today the offense we just we didn't succeed
in that area.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
So it hurts.
Speaker 12 (14:22):
It's the NFL, man, If you give the ball away
like that, teams are going to capitalize on it, and
the Jaguars did so.
Speaker 4 (14:27):
Jj that you were going for the middle there. I
know it got deflected, but did you see that guy?
Did you think you could layer it over him or.
Speaker 9 (14:33):
Was just a bad decision?
Speaker 12 (14:34):
Yeah, I just I thought it was gonna be a
tight window and I was gonna try to get it
to JJ, and you know, got tipped and the backer
came back and got it. So I mean, looking back
on it, I'm gonna have to watch the film this year.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I really don't know yet.
Speaker 4 (14:47):
Do you feel physically?
Speaker 12 (14:49):
I thought I was able to go out and play
quarterback and and give our team a chance, and so
that's that.
Speaker 13 (14:57):
Would you think of your mechanics as far as lower body,
It seemed like it seemed like you left some balls
high this week in practice, and we saw a little
bit of that today.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Is that related in any way? Do you think to
the toe?
Speaker 12 (15:08):
I'm not really sure. I think just getting back out
there and throwing and getting into a rhythm, you know,
being down in two weeks, you know, coming back and
feeling out my body and everything. Obviously how my toe feels,
and so honestly, I don't know the answer to that,
but obviously we'll watch this film, look at my mechanics
and be real with myself and and try to fix that.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
So any pain fling injections before the game, after the
fumble at the end there you were pounding the grass
real hard.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
I don't know if I've ever seen you do that.
So it just over the play? Was it over the
whole thing? What was kind of the emotion there?
Speaker 12 (15:43):
Yeah, I mean just the whole thing, you know, for
us to turn the ball over like that throughout the
game and then have a chance to win the game
at the end, our defense just played their butt off
and gave us a chance, and then uh, you know,
we get the ball rolling and then we had an
op uh to possibly take a shot and go deep
and then obviously the ball goes on the ground, and
I just I was mad over everything. The opportunity we
(16:05):
had right there to get back in the game. What
we had done all day for myself, you know with
the ball, So just frustrated the moment for sure.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
Rocket the red zone. You guys, I know you haven't.
Speaker 8 (16:16):
Been in for all the games, but you guys are
not converting much in the resinters in touchdown.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
How would you just diagnose with what's keeping you.
Speaker 9 (16:21):
Guys back in that year?
Speaker 2 (16:24):
Honestly, same thing.
Speaker 12 (16:25):
I'm just gonna have to go watch the film on this,
and it's, uh, you know, it's it's tough to just
to like reak out. Obviously, it's tight windows, and you
know you got to capitalize when there's an opportunity and
and and down there in the red zone man, and
and those are crucial plays and drives and you know,
obviously we can settle for a field goal and be
smart with the ball, but at the same time, like
if there's an opportunity to score, we got to do
(16:47):
that and uh, especially to pull away and and uh
to put pressure on the other team. Like so that
us is stuff that we have to be better at
as an offense. And starting with the quarterbacks, who like
with myself, like we got to be better.
Speaker 7 (16:59):
So somewhat of the voting question when it comes to
how you felt get back out there, did you feel
that you were kind of settling back into being in
game time action and maybe that contributed at all to
like the mistakes that were made, and then you had
some new faces out there that have become well, you
know that are now wide receivers with you, guys that
weren't out there when you were healthy.
Speaker 4 (17:19):
Did that at.
Speaker 7 (17:20):
Ano, Kendrick talked about the fact that he kind of
blamed himself for dropping the ball. Do you think either
of those things kind of contributed to today?
Speaker 9 (17:28):
Honestly?
Speaker 12 (17:29):
Like, I know the receivers are new and everything like that,
and you can talk chemistry and things, but I think
at the end of the day, it's it's football, and
you know, Kb's he's awesome.
Speaker 9 (17:39):
Man.
Speaker 12 (17:39):
I love playing with that guy, and he's real and
he's like, hey, man, I just.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Dropped the ball.
Speaker 12 (17:43):
Took my eyes off or whatever, and so we're real
about it. And for me, like to JJ, like I
threw the ball a little late, maybe it got tipped.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
Like we're just real about it.
Speaker 12 (17:51):
I don't think has anything to do with chemistry or anything.
Like we're in the NFL, you can go out practice,
get our reps in, and go out in the game
and be ready to roll.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
So there's no other excuse.
Speaker 12 (18:01):
It's just we've got to keep moving together and and
you know, making sure the operation, the plays, you know,
we're playing together like those are things that we're just
gonna have to continue to grow together with.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
But it's it's nothing really more than that.
Speaker 12 (18:14):
But we'll be just fine. I know it's early in
the season and this one sucks, but we're gonna, you know,
learn from our mistakes. We got a quick turnaround and
we'll be ready to roll.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
So how difficult is it.
Speaker 15 (18:24):
I know you said you're going to review this game,
but you also got to prepare for the Rams defense.
Speaker 4 (18:28):
How difficult is that going into a short week?
Speaker 12 (18:31):
Yeah, I mean any Thursday night game is always a
little tough when you only have you know, three days
really to get ready and uh let your body get
back into it and and try to heal up quick
and and then go out and perform and win an
NFL game. It's not easy, but I know we can
do it. We've done it before, and uh, you know,
we're all hungry. The vibe in that locker room is
we we just want to get out and play again
(18:52):
and clean clean things up. So we're gonna take it
one day at a time.
Speaker 9 (18:56):
Thanks guy.
Speaker 7 (19:00):
Obviously a tough one here to follow by by my man,
certainly correctly, But to do that, to know that there
were so many mistakes, what are you guys talking about
amongst the offense when it comes to China, make sure
that that doesn't recreate.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
Except with person.
Speaker 6 (19:14):
I think, just move on, you know, I think we
lost today. Yeah, we didn't play good enough. We made
a bunch of mistakes all over the field and still
had a chance to win, you know, and so with
an early game coming up, you just correct the mistakes.
You know, a lot of these mistakes are super uncharacteristic,
and we gotta we got to just look ourselves in
the mirror and move on because it's a quick turnaround.
(19:35):
And yeah, just a bad game all around. Excited to
move on from it.
Speaker 5 (19:41):
The interception, what happened? What happened there?
Speaker 4 (19:46):
I mean, what would have been looked like a tough
cutch with.
Speaker 9 (19:49):
Yeah, I went up with two and then uh, I don't.
Speaker 6 (19:52):
I didn't think I could get it with two, So
at last second, I had to try to get it
with one and I got to just haul that thing in.
You know, I felt like I was getting held at
the line there though it's tough to get out, you know,
but once again I can make that play and I
need to make that play.
Speaker 8 (20:06):
Appreciated If you're one of three in the red zone
today and it's been a little bit of an issue in.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
The first four games. Anything you can put your finger
on the diagnosed why it's.
Speaker 9 (20:13):
It's been tough to have finish there, not right after
the game.
Speaker 6 (20:16):
I think overall we're close, you know, I think, you know,
we got a gel a little bit better together, but
we are close, and you know, this is a tight,
tight league, and the room for air is very slim.
So all the mistakes are correctable, and there's little things
here and there that we just you know, once we
start rolling, we you know, we can we can start
get it going again.
Speaker 9 (20:34):
I'm excited for that.
Speaker 3 (20:36):
George talking to Braf there after they after locker room.
We see it as if you meet it all the time,
it never seems to be too high too low. Do
you have any discussion with family. Hey, there's a rough one,
lots of turnovers, but in all your fault, don't put
it all yourself.
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Any kind of thing like that.
Speaker 6 (20:52):
Yeah, you know, I mean I've I've never been a
part of an undefeated team. I don't think I think
one team has and and you lose in this league,
and when you lose, I think that's how you were.
You know, it's about how you respond. And everybody in
that locker room's lost before. Everyone in the locker rooms,
you know, maybe not play their best. And as a team,
we've not played our best. But the beauty is we
(21:15):
play in four days and so that's stuff that you know,
with quick turnarounds, as I said, you know, you just
flush it and move on and get better.
Speaker 13 (21:23):
There's a lot of young players in that room. You
got to learn how to win in this league. You
and to learn how to lose. What would you how
would you like them to react to this loss?
Speaker 6 (21:32):
Just stay hungry, you know, I mean, once again, you
can't hang your head. You know, you got to just
learn from the tape. You know, whether you're a young world,
you know, you learn from the tape and keep moving
and get better and come out ready to roll on Thursday.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
There hasn't been much run room for you all four games.
Speaker 13 (21:47):
Are you seeing the same thing over and over again,
whereas how they're playing you or skiving you guys up.
Speaker 9 (21:52):
I think, Look, I mean we're close again in the
run game, we're close.
Speaker 6 (21:55):
You know. It's it's not good on paper and I
put a lot of that on me and takes all
eleven to run the ball.
Speaker 9 (22:01):
But uh, we.
Speaker 6 (22:03):
Are close, and I'm you know, I feel really confident
in our guys and we just got to keep keep trucking.
Speaker 9 (22:07):
You know.
Speaker 6 (22:08):
It's it is tough when you got a lot of
guys flushing in and out and you know you're missing
a lot of guys and things can be off just
a little bit that can make or break runs. And uh,
but we are close and we'll get it.
Speaker 13 (22:19):
We'll get it rolling men, the character on the characteristic
turnovers you guys can create have today, does it feels
surreal for that to cappen?
Speaker 4 (22:27):
And does still feel that way?
Speaker 6 (22:29):
A surreal wouldn't be the word I use. You know,
it's it happens, you know sometimes. You know, at the
end of the day, we turn the ball over four
times and still had a chance to win at the
end there, So you can't you can't harp on anything
that's happened in the past, whether it's good or bad.
You know, I think from a player's mindset, it's it's
next play, you know, your fight or flight in a game,
(22:52):
and so your emotions can't get too high and can't
get too down because you never know what play could
be the one that changes it, and you just got
to keep your head in.
Speaker 8 (22:58):
Did you get the sense that Black was when did
it all out there and battlendus injury?
Speaker 9 (23:02):
No?
Speaker 6 (23:02):
I don't get the sense at all. Yeah, I think, uh,
once again, we have you know, myself included. We just
had We had a lot of drops for him too.
You know, when you have those kind of plays, you know,
it can get put on the quarterback. But I thought
he did a great job out there.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Appreciate it.
Speaker 9 (23:17):
That's next, boy,
