Speaker 1 (00:00):
So faithful. Welcome to the forty nine ers. You've got
mal Podcasts presented by Delta Dental. I'm Lindsay Floris and
today I am joined by a couple of people from
our defensive backfield. We've got safety JayR. Brown and cornerback
Tiamadora Leonor. But through this podcast, we will call you
Tig and Demo. So let's start there. Where do the

(00:21):
nicknames come from?

Speaker 2 (00:24):
So my nickname came from I had so many nicknames though.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Oh you're saying where demo came Demo?

Speaker 1 (00:33):
And then we'll go to Hyena as well, because you've
got two popular ones.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Okay, So Demo came from the mother of my child.
She gave you that name because her mom couldn't pronounce
my name. So she was just like, just call them demo.
And then after that, everybody's just start calling me Demo.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Kind of stuck, yeah, and then.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
Oh, yeah, see you. He was like Corey Underland, like
my rookie year, my coach. He was like, I'm not
calling you diometer. I'm just telling you that right now
because I can't pronounce that every time. And then I'm like,
I'm like it's cool because I don't want you to
call me that.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I don't even like that.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Name for like, it's a really proper name. It's a
proper name.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Like I like it now because like no, because of y'all,
but I really don't like it.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
So when you introduce yourself to people, do you automatically
tell them do you know Hyena? Like when does hyena
come into the conversation?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Hyena only only come into conversation like when I put
on cleats, okay, because like that's why I feel like
I got to be a hyena.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
T I g Man came from me. Man.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
It came from my mother when I was a couple
of months old.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:53):
She got it from money the pool, tigger to bounce,
and tiger. So she used to call me tigger, you
know what I mean. And as I got older, you know,
we just started calling me tig and it kind of stuck.
So I had the name before I was even one
years old, you know. And that's nobody really calls me
ja unless you don't know me.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Do you introduce yourself as Tig?

Speaker 4 (02:14):
It depends on where I'm at, you know, it depends
on who I'm around around a bunch of my peers,
you know, I'm.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Gonna say, Tig, everybody in this building calls you Tig.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
Yeah, everybody in this building to call me Tig. All right.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
So, since the last time each of you has been
on the podcast, a lot's happened. Tig. You became a
starting safety, made a Super Bowl run as a team,
a lot of new faces in that dB room. How
would you describe the last eight months it's.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
Been It's been a grind. You know, we're just building
a camaraderie within the guys. I would say, you know,
because like when you just first meeting people, you don't
really know, like you don't you don't really know the limits.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I would say, you know, because like you'd like to
have fun.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
You know, we like to joke around, like like talk,
you know, Like I feel like all that plays a
partner into like playing together, you know, like just building
that brother trust.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Like you know what I'm saying, I'm not gonna never
let nobody mess with my brother.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
So like I feel like with us, like we had
to build that at first, and that was like all
through training camp and like you know, uh came down
to like some part of the season. But like I
feel like now we like you know, we like that now.
Like what I'm saying, like we're way closer.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
You're four seasons in and you are one of the
guys that's been here the longest. Talk about some of
those new faces in that room. What are the personalities
that you guys welcomed in during the off season and
the draft.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I would say, we gotta we got a real serious group,
Like everybody is I'm the only jokester. Oh yeah, I
mean he he not he not real serious like, but
I would say, like we got a real serious like
everybody's like I'm getting this done, like I'm ready to
do this, like it's.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Not necessarily a bad thing.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Though, no, no, no it's not. It's not bad. It's
not bad. I would just say, like you feel me,
Like everybody wouldn't like open.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Up to each other because they was like so like focused,
like I'm focused on me, but like this is a team,
like you know, we together, we gotta do this, Like
I can't do this without him, like he can't do
this without me, Like we have to be like together.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Some of those new faces, Ronardo Green, Malick Mustafa, Rocky Scene,
what are how do you break the ice with those
guys if they are all business like, how do you
welcome them to the group?

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Oh, really, I did it? How I did it?

Speaker 2 (04:44):
I would just you know, I'll just make everybody laugh, like,
you know, we we're gonna laugh together, like you know,
it ain't ever gonna be like like, oh we just
we just coming to work because we got to come
to work. Like we're gonna be happy coming to work.
Like we're gonna cheer each other up, you know, gonna
make each other laugh. We're gonna coach each other. We're
gonna you know, we're gonna like real brother stuff like

(05:04):
I would say.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
That's how I look at it. Little r G. Man.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
R G came into the room. Man, he ain't said
a word for like two weeks straight.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
He is very quiet, super quiet man.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
But just being around anymore. You know, here a guy
who gotta get you know, warmed up to you, you know, comfortable.
And now you know he talked just as much as
we do. You know, he in a huddle break, he
broke down the huddle to dad. You know, he said
some wise words to the team. So he been you know,
getting more confidence around the guys and you know, starting
to voice his opinion more, which is good.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
So that's how we've been coming.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Along as the group you talk about, Ernardo Green, Malik Mustafa.
Big week for them in Week six, they each got
their first career interceptions. How hyped were you guys for them?

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Yeah, I was hyped turned, you know, because I ain't
get my first I ain't get my first interception to
I want to say, you're two, so to come in.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
And get an inner.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Actually as a rookie, like I had to, I had
to the blessed like I was blessed to watch, you know,
Huff be able to play as a rookie, him and
At and them make plays. So I was like, like
when when when he got his first interception, I was,
I was, I was.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
I was happy for him, you know, I was. I
was happy. I was like one of.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
The first people down there to the end zone when
he got him and Stuffer, you know, because it's like
breaking that ice. You know, Like, now now that you
see you can't do it, let's see how many more
plays you can.

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Make stack the place. One of my favorite parts of
just watching every time somebody in the dB room gets
an interception, or the celebrations, how do those come together?
Because they're always very creative.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Wait which one we all just go to.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
The end of the end zone and it's gets something different.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Every time we've been working on that, Yah working on lately,
Like at the walkthroughs, we'd be like, all, are we going
to do this this week?

Speaker 3 (06:56):
But like a couple of them been just like natural,
like celebrate Jay.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Or I want to go back to the moment that
you got your first big opportunity. It also came during
your rookie season, Week eleven, Huff goes down with an
ACL tear and you've got to jump in mid game.
How do you process that big opportunity as it's happening.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
Man, I was waiting on that since week one, you know,
like I wasn't getting there, which is unusual for me.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
You know.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
It was kind of tough, you know, being in that role,
you know, but I kind of just bought into it
and you know, try my best to to help the
guys while he was out there, you know, still being
trying to be a leader of the off the field,
you know as well. But when I got that op,
you know, I was already prepared for it. You know,

(07:49):
I was already watching the film. I was already going
through my plays and everything. So when I got out there,
it was kind of just you know, let's play football.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
You know, I finally give my opportunity to show the world.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Almost had two interceptions in that game, Fred Warner snag
the second one.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
Yeah, I let him have it. You know, I remember
that one. I remember that that won't happened. Man. That was.
That was a crazy game.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
That was because when Health, when Health went out, I
was like, bro, whoa, I'm like, hulf out, all right,
we got Tigg in.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
So I'm like, so I'll go up to Tig. I'm like,
I'm like, let's go. This is what you been waiting on.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
And then I'm telling you that first play for sure
it was probably a run here when you got in.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
He filled that sea gap so fast. I came up
to you after the game. I was like, oh my god,
I said, you was feeling that here, all right?

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Show So then that, you know, that just brings confidence,
like all right, you know the rook no y'a out here?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Hey, you know you know who'll give me all of
all the like energy in the world, Man J Greenlaw.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
Oh yeah, Dre.

Speaker 4 (08:57):
When when Da Greenlaw played man like he is the
spark man like he different, you know, he different, Like
when D Greens or whatever running back, like go to
Green a way, like honestly, like like we can get back.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Oh man, it's gonna be bad.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
What is the difference between Dre in the game, Dre
on the sidelines encouraging you guys because he's been there
all season.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Yeah, it ain't the same in game. In game, you
don't know, baby d. Yeah, the energy level takes it
up a nut in the game. Game It's like it's
like I gotta get like him. Yeah, I'm not looking
round like him, right, I gotta match his energy.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
That's amazing. Yeah, Demo, you're a big opportunity. You really
popped off second season in the playoffs. I want to know.
Your story is unique. You were a fifth rounder and
now you're a lockdown corner. How'd you do it?

Speaker 3 (09:53):
It was really just you know, believing in myself.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I feel like me not playing rookie year, I kind
of like doubted myself. And then I moved to Arizona,
and I feel like that's when I became a hyena
because when I moved to Arizona, I was I was
moving out there just you know, just to get away,

(10:17):
just for the off season, but I really locked in
and you know, start really diving into film and was like,
I'm trying to be more than what I am, you know,
when I get back, I'm trying to like when I
come back, I need to coaches to be like, it's
noticeable that you're a different player, Like, was.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
It just a film study or did you also start
taking care of your body a little bit differently?

Speaker 3 (10:41):
Nah, it was just a film study. To be honest, I.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Felt like I was always being the most athletically gifted person,
So I never like looked at film and stuff like
that to be like I didn't think it would make
me like, you know, get a step ahead or whatever.
Like I used to always just be like, man, I'm bigger,
I'm stronger, I'm fast, Well, not bigger, but yeah, I'm stronger,

(11:04):
I'm faster, and I know to play like like I'm
just like I'm an outdog everybody like That's that was
my whole mindset. But then I seen like, all right,
it was guys coming in that's like thirty years old,
and I'm like, they not faster than me, they not
bigger than me, They're not like they're not stronger. So
like how are they making all these plays? So then

(11:26):
I started looking like so I started talking to Sharam.
I was talking to Sharm and they was just telling
me like about the film study, like it like all
routes follow each other and like stuff like that, like
just giving me little nuggets like that, And then I
started really like diving into film.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
And then that's how I took that next step.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Do you think that's taking an even bigger step now
that you've got Brandon Staley in the building too, working
with like percentages?

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Oh yeah, yeah for sure.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
You know with Staley being over there, being over here
with us, you know, I feel like he brings a
different type of knowledge to the DV room. You know,
he like he kind of thinks like a player, Like
he thinks like us, Like you know what, like if
you're going to get a fast guy, you need to
get his hand, your hands on him. That's something I

(12:12):
believe in too, So like for a coach to say it,
that's that's not out there playing and I think the
same thing, Like I got more confidence in him.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
That makes sense, Tig. You've also said you've always had
this natural instinct to be a ballhawk. Where's your film
study and what do you think you would credit your
big jump from year one a year two too.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Paying attention to the details of football.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
You know, I believe right now, you know, I can
go out there and coach, coach the game, you know, honestly,
and coaching at a very high level as well.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
My my biggest leap, you know this year would be more.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
Just getting a reps, you know, because it's a different
from speaking it and actually going out there and seeing it,
you know, because I can speak it all day, but
you want to get the feel for how to how
the routes feel, you know, how the runs feel. And
the more you get the feel of things, you know,
the more experience you get, the more.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Comfortable you get in it.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
So from last year from only what playing five games
in the regular season to this year, you know.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
We'll be on week six weeks weeks.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
I still haven't even had a full season yet, you know,
but I'm constantly improving, you know, constantly getting better.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
And that's where I'm gonna take my game back.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
Both of you. This is all you know, right Drafted
by San Francisco, still pretty early in your careers. All
you know is a star studded roster. So to make
a name for yourself on a team like this, how
much harder is it to do that?

Speaker 3 (13:43):
Oh, section, It's extra hard. You know.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
You got Fred Fred Nick, Trent, Christian Juice, Yay Kiddle,
Debo Rock, you keep going.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
You got so many guys. I mean, I feel like
that's why I.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Enjoy coming to work every day, you know, just being
around all these good, good players, good people.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
You know, I'll be happy to actually be here.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
You know, and actually to go play football with these
guys because it's like somebody is gonna do something crazy.

Speaker 3 (14:23):
That's just like bro wow, Like I'm playing with one
of the best players in the world. It's fun.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
Like everybody trying to get to the ball. Everybody want
to get that tackle. Demo came to me the other
day talking about he got the TfL against the Seahawks
when it was clearly my tackle.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
You know, they sent me, they sent me the clip,
but then they gave him the tackle, So why y'all.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Send it to me? Because he was celebrating.

Speaker 4 (14:49):
You know, I wiped it off like a regular player.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
I should have got up celebrating that set me the clip.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
How competitive is this?

Speaker 2 (14:57):
That's how it's real competitive say that they like as
much as somebody to do bad competitives.

Speaker 1 (15:05):
Of course, as much as you guys are cheering each
other on how much how much competition is going on
at the same time.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
Say it right here, I got the best hands in
the DV run anybody who otherwise you know.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
We can catch off. I can't do it all catch off.
I could play wide receiver if I wanted to.

Speaker 3 (15:30):
See.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
That's that's how competitive it really is, like even not
even just the dB is the defense though, like yeah,
like we're we're competing against another team, but it's also
a race to that ball, Like I'm trying to get
to the ball before you.

Speaker 1 (15:43):
You know, that's a scary thought, but a good thought.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Yeah, it is scary, Yeah, because it is scary because
if you're walking, you're wrong.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Right walking you're wrong. Yeah, you will stick out like
a sore thumb on this defense.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
When you name all the amazing players not just on
this defense, both sides of the ball. What's one play
When you think about it, you're just kind of in
awe of this person. If you've got a play in mind.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
You said a play, yeah, where like like I'm on
his heels though, like I'm on Fred Hills and that's
like out of out of respect and out of me
as a competitor, like Fred is a heck of a player.

Speaker 4 (16:27):
Like this guy, this guy can Like this guy.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
He can do stuff. Superman. Yeah, like he he's.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Superman at the middle linebacker pot the number one linebacker
in the NFL, you know, and it's not even close.
But dude, dude is selfish when it comes to tackles
and interceptions, Like you see how you throw my interceptions?

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Greedy? He greedy? Like he greedy.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
No, it's not I'm not saying anything bad on Fred.
I'm just saying like, that's who he is, and that's
who I want Fred to be. But that's who I am.
I want to I want all the tackles in the
interceptions and stuff. So it's a healthy competition, you know,
between the defense.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Who's going to.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Get I'm excited to see the statue at the end
of the year, we'll see.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
That's why we run into the ball. We hitting each
other running to the ball. Man.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
As long as you don't get hurt, that's all that matters.
When you think of your own careers pretty early, do
you have a favorite play that you've made. Actually, the
stupid score was pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Yeah, yeah on the birthday, Yeah, that was remember that.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Yeah, But I would say my favorite play is probably
the the Cowboys interception. I feel like the Cowboys interceptions
good one that like started me off, Like even though
I got an interception the week before that, but that one,
Oh my god. It was in the beginning of the

(17:50):
game too, so that like made it even better zero zero.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Just to see the look on the QB face after that.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
What about your favorite play of your career so far?
You're only in your two so plenty more to go.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
Man, I got some players that's gonna come out. It's
just gonna be like wow, you know. But as of
right now, I gotta sayesh uh, do.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
You want me to tell you to blaze? You're talking
about Super Bowl? Yes, if we were the one that
was in the super Bowl that had been my favorite,
would have one that was is my favorite. But I
gotta go with the I had so many dreams before
that game that I was gonna do that.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
You imagine didn't what?

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Oh yeah, for sure, the super Bowl that's the biggest
game in the world.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Yeah, that was crazy. Two Bowls crazy.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
That's definitely the one one of my favorites. Man.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
But I like that Seahawks interception against No No No
when it came to LEVI, I feel like that was
pretty dope. Yeah, that was pretty dope. I remember that
one was pretty dope. But I got so many more
on the way though, on the way.

Speaker 1 (18:59):
So, I think one thing a lot of people don't
realize is that you two have been very fortunate and
have been part of really good teams. You've only experienced
NFC championships or better. Obviously only had one full season,
but NFC championship or better. How crazy is it to
think of that?

Speaker 3 (19:17):
What you mean by that though?

Speaker 4 (19:18):
Like I'm been a part of like good teams, like
you're talking about just the NFL, the.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Teams here, like you've.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
You're talking about NF. I thought you was going back
to college. I don't know.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
When you think about that, you in college?

Speaker 3 (19:34):
I want I did too. You forgotten my organ I
did the Pro State.

Speaker 1 (19:41):
But we're going to do you think about that?

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yeah, I think about that.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I think you've been three straight NFC championships in the
Super Bowl, Like, what is your first reaction when you
say that out loud?

Speaker 2 (19:57):
I feel like that's actually it actually is crazy because
my first year here, like we had lost, we had
lost some games and still went to the NFC. So
then I was like in my head, I was like, man,
were really good, Like we're really good, Like I ain't
like I ain't know what to expect, like just coming

(20:20):
to the NFL and then we lose, you know, we
lost all these games and then like we turned it
all the way around and went on the run. It
was crazy, So I didn't know what to expect. But
then that next year, like I'm like, we just went
to the NFC and we had a bad start, so
I'm like, yeah, yeah. The next year, I'm like, bro,
we got the same team, Like this is the standard now.

(20:42):
Like so after that, we've just been rolling ever since,
like just going to NFC, NFC Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (20:50):
So I mean, who's someone that you think deserves a
little more love? Can be on either side of the
ball demo.

Speaker 3 (20:59):
Demo. Yeah. I feel like Dre is so like underrated,
Like it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Like I think down the Bay Area everyone gives him
his flowers.

Speaker 2 (21:15):
Here worldwide, I feel like he should be like talked
about because it's like unforcing. I mean, I know, he's
hurt right now, but he wanted them guys that you
got him on your team, and you know he gonna
like he's gonna ride.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
So I feel like what he's done in.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
The league and how many like plays he been making
and he don't get a lot of credit for it.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
I think once that comeback is complete, everybody's really excited
to have a back. Yeah, yeah, all right, Outside of football,
we both got we all got to see a sneak
peak of both of you playing some college football Madden.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
The scripted game.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
No script, it wasn't script. It's never that came to me, right,
That's exactly what exactly told me.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
We were having it. If y'all don't know who Zach is,
he told me we.

Speaker 2 (22:08):
Was having a podcast yesterday. So that's why I wore
this organ stuff. Because I won in n C double A.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
Oh my goodness, man, you know.

Speaker 1 (22:15):
How often does this happen normal?

Speaker 3 (22:19):
His last two games, I'm wanted.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
I got the most wins though that his last I
got the most wins. Okay, if you beat me when
the first game, when when the game first came out,
like we just downloaded it, that's our first game and
you win.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
I give you that. When they tie it up, they're
gonna say who got the most wins, and it's gonna
be me.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
But they always say, you're only as good as your
last in your last two?

Speaker 1 (22:43):
Where else?

Speaker 3 (22:44):
Man, y'all want to know the script? Come on the script?

Speaker 1 (22:48):
Are you always Ducks? Always Penn State? Does it switch? No?

Speaker 3 (22:53):
He tried to use Ohio State. Team is gonna get
mad at them?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
I know that's gonna literally you stay with time they
got They said, so I said, you you're gonna go
to a different team. You know we're still still to
Pack twelve at that time. So I say, I'm gonna go.
I'm gonna go play with USC. I'll play with USC.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Oh wow, okay, you see what.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
We did the USC this past weekend. They won in
a dog fight. It was a nail bier. It wasn't a.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Nail How do you feel me being fellow big ten
schools together? Now?

Speaker 2 (23:26):
I'm happy about that. I'm tired of these dudes. And
in the locker room we always seeing Pack twelve ball
ain't good turn.

Speaker 3 (23:35):
It's like the same controls like they both like it
looks the same.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
To be honest, I didn't realize it's been ten years,
right since.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
Like the twenty fourteen.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
That's crazy.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
It's actually better than was then. Yeah, Madden ce double A.
I was, yeah, because Madden got my overall, Like, yeah, Madden,
what's up. I don't think I'm slow. Yeah, y'all got
me at a.

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Ninety one speed. Let me tell you, Matt, And it's
a difference between forty yard speed and game speed. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
These guys can run for one, four to two whatever.
They run running straight with no objective but to run straight.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
But when you got to think and run at the
same time, it's a completely different game.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
So we need to add the game speed stat in
math for context.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
For the viewers, what are the Madden scores for each
of you?

Speaker 3 (24:33):
I'm like a seventy three year old row or something
like that. I don't even remember.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I think I'm like a seventy nine okay, but I'm
a ninety one speed ninety three acceleration.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
Second part of this podcast, you've both been on it,
so you know we got some fan questions to fire
them away. DS zero five zero nine wants to know
growing up, which player was your biggest football inspiration and
what did you take from their game?

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Way you said football football inspiration.

Speaker 2 (25:04):
I would say Dion Sanders because his swag. His swag
was different, like like to pull up to the combine
in the suit and you know, run that forty and
then get up out of there after you break the charts.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Like that's crazy. That's like something I would do. I
believe to. Like for me, I'm gonna have to go
man this guy, Reggie Bush Man, Reggie Bush.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
See because I used to play running back, Like I
used to play running back, and.

Speaker 2 (25:43):
I was official inspiration with swag on the field. I'm
going deon Sanders. But if we're talking about like because
I used to play running back too, and Reggie Bush
that was my Yeah, Reggie Bush was my favorite running.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
Back when out though year of high school.

Speaker 3 (26:01):
No, I was.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
I was prepared when I went to junior college. Right,
let me read this. I was prepared to be it.
I was prepared to be a running back or quarterback.
When I first stepped on campus in junior college, coaches like,
we need a corner and all that other stuff. I'm like,
I can do it. You know, I'm an athlete. Coach,
I can go out there play corner. And I went
out there play corner. My first year, but I was
prepared to go in there and be either Reggie Bush

(26:23):
or Tom Brady.

Speaker 2 (26:25):
I had one hundred and eight carries, one hundred and
eight carries. I had all the thousand yards for eleven
hundred and seventy two yards and seventeen touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
What's that? Middle school or high school? This high school?
All right? Now? I was talking middle school, but all right,
we're gonna get middle school. Growing up school, middle school.
I was getting the ball.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
I was scoring five and then I had six hundred
and sixty three receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

Speaker 3 (26:51):
And then I threw for six hundred yards six touchdowns.
That's career status. That's my senior senior year. I definitely
outscored never.

Speaker 4 (27:00):
I probably threw for like ten touchdowns, ran for like
ten touch Go watch my high school team.

Speaker 3 (27:06):
You ran for touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
I played wide receiver, I played running back, quarterback, quarterback,
d n linebacker, safety.

Speaker 1 (27:16):
Throwing the balls to yourself and then running it.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
I couldn't nah, see I had I had I have,
I really couldn't. Do you think West Coast football is
better than the East Coast football? Do we know what?

Speaker 4 (27:28):
I don't even want to hear that answer, because I
know you're gonna say the wrong answer.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I'm going to say West Coast.

Speaker 3 (27:33):
Yeah, like you play for the Niners. What you're talking about?

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Yeah, you are on the West Coast team.

Speaker 4 (27:40):
No, I'm on the team is in the on the
West Coast, but all the players are not from the
West Coast. You got a lot of East Coast players
on the team. Yeah, East Coast South. You know, it
ain't too many guys from the West Coast on the squad,
but they all like, they all love the West Coast.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
You know who is from the West Coast? Your favorite
Fred Warner.

Speaker 3 (28:03):
Yeah, see, Fred might have been born somewhere else, so nah,
I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I'm pretty sure he's like a San Marcos native if
I remember correctly, like Marcos, like the San Diego area.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
Fred, like Fred might be from a different planet though,
never know, he like he like a god God.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
You do everything right. I've never seen nobody. You don't
want to do nothing wrong, nothing, Tell your shoes real quick.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
This man don't want to do nothing wrong. He wanted
nothing wrong. Don't do nothing wrong. Yeah, Oh yeah, that's Fred.

Speaker 1 (28:42):

it's better not we're talking about food. Yeah, the Ramen
spot is the best spot around here. I ain't ran
into a spot, not a not a restaurant, not a
high end restaurant that's better than.

Speaker 1 (29:08):
Hero North get a sponsorship.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
I'm reading a franchise on the East Coast, like like
food Man food. It's like noodles, bro. I tried to
go home and make the noodles myself. It ain't the same, bro,
something specially putting it in the broth. Nah, you gotta
get the cups.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
The noodle cups natter than the noodle cups.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
