four seasons with the Carolina Panthers. During that time, the
forty nine Ers established themselves as a powerhouse in the
end of siege. From what you've seen and being here
now at HQ. How excited are you to be part
of this organization.

I'm extremely excited. I'm extremely excited. You said, you guys
are a powerhouse, and I haven't had much, you know,
success winning up to this point, and I'm excited to
be a part of it. See what that culture is like.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Phones are ringing off the hook during free agency? What
made you ultimately decide that the Bay Area the San
Francisco forty nine ers were the right decision for you?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Two things. I wanted to be a great player and
I wanted to win, and I felt like coming here
was just a perfect place to do both.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
You'll be working alongside defensive line coach Chris Kosak and
also the defensive philosophy here is everything starts up front.
What makes you confidence that you'll be able to develop
as a pass rusher here?
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I mean, obviously, he's a great successful guys in the past,
and you know, I know what I bring to the table,
so I'm confident I'll be able to get the job done.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
As analysts are going through your tape during this free
agency period, your versatility ability to play up and down
the line has been something that's been highlighted. What would
you say your greatest strength is of your game.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Probably my versus. I can go inside rush, I can
stay outside rush, on the edge and dominating the run game.
I just feel like my trajectory is only going up.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
So Virginia Native Penn State alum, I'm guessing you have
aren't super familiar with the West coast. So what's the
first thing on your California bucket list?
Speaker 2 (02:16):
Probably just explore explore San fran you know, coming down
here and seeing the valley is beautiful. I heard this
is the winter weather, this.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
Is this is the winter.

This seemed very cool to me.

So probably just exploring sporing a land seen every league.

you most excited about as you head to HQ You

Mean really just the atmosphere of the fans, you know,
just the energy of just being able to dwell in that,
you know what I mean, and to experience that. I
feel like it's something that you know, you guys, coming
off a season like last year, I feel like it's
a perfect.

Upon What made this spot the right spot for your
next career move?
Speaker 3 (03:24):
Every day? You know what I mean? It was it
was a match made in heaven for real, honestly, like coaching,
the front office, everything, you know.
Speaker 1 (03:30):
What I mean. So I'm thankful you face the forty
nine ers not so long ago, Week six of the
twenty twenty three season. That game went down to the wire.
What takeaways lasting impression did that leave on you about
the organization coming.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
Into that week preparing you know, we knew it was
gonna be a game, It's gonna be something tough, just
dealing with that offense to explosion that they have, you
know what I mean, So just being able to go
against that actually meeting now. You know, it's cool to
just see you know how y'all operate behind the scenes,
and it makes sense. You know why y'all out We
all learn you.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Worked your way into a star arting defensive tackles spot
by your third year with the Browns. What prepared you
and changed in your game for that impact role?
Speaker 3 (04:06):
Honestly, just just the word, you know what I mean,
the things that you know see the off season where
finding a way to better myself, better my body, my
mental you know, only everything.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
You're gonna have the opportunity to play alongside Javon Hargrave
and established defensive tackle. What are you hoping to bring
immediately to the forty nine ers defensive line?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
Honestly, just production, you know what I mean. At the
end of the day, thing, that's what we're all here
for it. We want to produce, you know what I mean.
We want to bring, bring sacks, We want to bring
explosive players. You know that they get the fans excited.
So that's what I'm going to do.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
You got a little taste of the faithful in Cleveland
week six. What are you expecting a game to hear
at Levi Stadium to be like just die.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
