Speaker 1 (00:04):
Chase. You mentioned that you are an animal lover and
you have I believe six dogs. Did you get any
of them out here? Do you get to hang out
with them during the bye week?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
He has got to stay home.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
I was taking care of them my dad.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
My dad. I had dollars growing up and my dad,
my dad is real good at a handling dog, so
he loud, he loves it.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
There have been a lot of people asking for Bosa
book recommendations. Do you have a few that you would share?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I would.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
I think Trust was a really good fiction that I
read recently. Silent Patient is is a fiction that I
think a lot of people would like. It's like, I
think it's kind of like a murder mystery type, you know, psychological.

(00:57):
And then one else.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Chuck will carry Water great book.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Oh are you a big reader too?

Speaker 3 (01:05):
Here and there, Here and there, and then Gentlemen in Moscow.
That's one of my favorites that I read this year.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
All right, our book book talk. All the TikTok readers
are going to love that. So, since neither of you
have been on this podcast before, we do have a
fan submitted question section, so I'm going to fire those off.
We had our YouTube fan send in a ton because
they were very excited to have this duo and studio.
So this is from eighty eight C Gomez. What career

(01:33):
would you be pursuing if you weren't in the NFL?

Speaker 2 (01:35):
My dad he was in the corrections and all my
coups stay in that law enforcement, so probably just I'll probably.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
I struggled with that question because my entire life was
trying to avoid getting a real job, so there was.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
No plan being yes, there was zero. Well you come
from a football family, so.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Yeah, thank you, but could have been a chef.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Oh okay, law enforcement and a chef. Any recipes that
you've perfected?

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Cook a steak bus I just stayed. So.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
We actually did an interview last year. While I'm on
the topic of food here, you said that you allow
yourself to cheat meal for every sack. Is that still
the case?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Did I say that?

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Sounds do you not that?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I don't think that's truth?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
There is a video evidence of this.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Yeah, I might have said, like I guess.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Okay, so what is a cheap meal for Nick Bosa?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I don't know, it's been a while.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
A piece of bread, carbs, I'll do, some sweets, do like.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Okay, that's fair, that's a good one, all right. This
one's from Hank. What is the toughest offensive lineman you'd
have to go up against other than Trent Williams. But
you've already gone up against.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Big lane lane, solid player.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
So this is a special episode as well. We have
our first live audience. We have two guests here with us,
so they wanted to know, since both of you were
highly recruited high school players, did you know of each
other before you went to Ohio State.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
When I went to Ohio State, that's when I heard
the last name Bosa. It kind of jumped out to me,
and it was really Joey. At first. Joey was like,
you know then all I have heard was they got
a little you know, he has little brother. It was
better though, It's better.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Like you did you play American Heritage?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (04:00):
About him when he played the school down in South
Florida Brian Burns. Yeah, so that's how I heard about him.
And he was just tall, lanky guy and coach Ja
was like.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Going to hid him, air him up with you a coach? Yeah,
that was the Osa. That was when I stepped on
the campus, he started showing me fail by trying to
recruit me show me fail. It was he showed me
your fail too. He was in high school. I just

(04:36):
got that in the spring. I mean I was, I
think on the spring visit. I was still junior though.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
But yeah, how different do each of you look from
the day you stepped into Ohio State.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I don't even want to see it? Terrible, very different.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
People don't realize how much of a baby you are
in college. So the baby that comes off and you
grow into your you're true.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
We're gonna have to pop up the college headshots just
to be looking to see the difference.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
I mean, see yeah, I mean, I guess Nick, you
was as much as your way going to the car.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
It was pretty much the same weight and hate. Just
my proportions were a bit off.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Case. After my senior year, I was two twenty five.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
I was still so you've put on some muscle since ye.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
I got a cottage about two fifty.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Significant. Next, One Great Britain one ninety six wants to
know what is your favorite sack of your career thus far?

Speaker 3 (05:45):
I like the one we me and him paired up
on and got the strip this year.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Did you guys feel that one coming.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Honestly, it was kind of crazy head. Yeah, it's when
Chris said take it come both took it up and
came back under.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Yeah. I honestly thought we were gonna get one to
get there.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
That game and plenty more to come into playoffs. All right,
last one from Blaze. What is the best part about
being a part of this locker room?

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Just even from being in another organization, I can tell
in this locker room it's it's like no selfish. I
even during the season, I can tell guys, it's real
jawin just every like when everybody wants to get better,
has that one common goal, and you know, and ever

(06:45):
you could just say that, but uh, just this locker room,
how people carry themselves. I was like the whole team
taking care of their bodies, not just five of the
best players. It's like everybody, you know, everybody wants to
get better, just you know, everybody competing on the basketball hoop,
in the locker row. Just that corderie. I definitely, you know,

(07:12):
found out that that's why this team is elite because
of lockerall Yeah. I think.

Speaker 3 (07:22):
No matter who comes from, wherever they come from, the
standard is set so so they just fit right in
no matter what.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Well, thank you guys both so much. I know that
