Speaker 1 (00:00):
And with the second overall pick, you take the best
podcast available, because somehow it fell and didn't go number one.
It was there at number two for you to select.
Happy for Sall big missed by somebody. Yeah, it is
a big miss Gibby. Welcome to the best damn podcast available.
That is Jason Gibbs. My name is Andrew Ciciliado. We're
(00:23):
here in the home office today trying to make sense
of Gibbie. I think this is kind of the quiet week,
if you will, after free agency. We have some pro days.
UCLA Pro Day was here in LA on Monday. The
Big twelve Pro Day, like a combined everybody thing is
at the Cowboys facility starting today. But this is kind
(00:46):
of a take stock of what happened in free agency
and see where we are kind of period.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah, I think it's definitely the first two waves of
free agency, or in the book. I mean, I think
you have your primary wave, which is your during your
tampering phase. Not calling it legal tampering, We're just campering.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
There is illegal tampering in the days before the legal obrogation.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
I'm trying to get your I'm trying to get your
verbiage down. My friends, So before before the four o'clock
deadline on a Wednesday, that officially kicks everything off. You know,
those your A listers in free agency, and then you've
got your second wave, maybe even a third wave, and
now we're just kind of waiting to see where the
other chips are going to fall. Obviously we'll get to
(01:34):
the quarterback carousel here in just a little bit, but
I think you're trying to you're resetting your boards. Where
are you at on the draft five weeks out, knowing
now that you've got certain players plugged into certain positions,
and I would assume now you're also going to start
resuming those thirty visits. You know, we had we had
(01:54):
a number of quarterbacks that were in and a few
other guys at Duel Carter in the building as well
with Travis Hunter, and now I think, you know, for
about ten days there wasn't any visits, and now I
think we're back to the visits.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
And it's not just the thirty visits where the Browns
or any team for that matter, can get up close
and meet these.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Players during these pro days. Very often.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
For example, my colleague Tom Pelisero reported and as we
record this on Wednesday afternoon, the Steelers had dinner with
Jalen Milroe in Alabama ahead of the Crimson Tide. Prode
Georgia was last week for example as well. And that look,
that's FaceTime for the team picking twenty one overall with
the former Alabama quarterback coach by the Browns OC Tommy Reese.
(02:40):
So there's all these little little opportunities for teams to
meet with players and to get to know them. And
also in this period as well, you see a lot
of like you said, first and second wave, you see
a lot of one year deals, like for example, McCole
Hardman just signed a one year deal with the Packers.
With the cap going up and up and up, this
(03:00):
value bin, if you will, of free agency, guys are
getting one year deals. Now, there is still a chance
the Browns can go back into said bin and get
a guy like Maurice Hurst, for example, Jed Wills, as
we record, this is still out there. Don't know a
his health be his free agent future, but is that
a possibility. Wan Thornhill left the Browns. He has now
(03:24):
gone to the Steelers, rocking a terrible twel and Renegade,
by the way, most overrated song of all time, Like
I don't get it on his socials Jan Thornhill gets
a one year deal.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Here, you're making a face.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
It's the closest thing that you have to like a
college event. It pains me because it has come at
my expense since I've never won there in twelve seasons.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I was not there for the.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
Playoffs or not there for the playoff game in twenty
so me personally, I am over in that stadium and
I cleaned that up as I did that, you know,
but it is kind of a it's a cool thing
that I hate because I know it means nothing but
trouble for us as a free time.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Let's move on.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Let's talk about the quarterbacks here because the Steelers are
actually give me part of this conversation. And before we
get to our guest, Joe Tryon Shoyanka will join us shortly.
Let's talk about the indecision, or rather the big question
mark for the Browns, the Steelers as we record this,
the Vikings and the Giants as well at quarterback. And
let's go back to our interview from last week, and
(04:29):
that's Miles Garrett.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
The setup is this.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
He did the podium on Friday spoke to the media,
and then after doing the podium, came around a corner
and sat down to the room in which you now
sit and did this show, did the best podcast available?
And I asked Miles about the team's quarterback plans because
seemingly when he was on the podium, and I don't
know if you agree, Gibby, he seemed to be dropping
(04:54):
some hints that something might be brewing. Did you get
that or did I did? I am imagine that because
I want it to happen.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
Well, something's happened, because Miles is back.
Speaker 3 (05:07):
He's back. But I meant, like a big picture quarterback wise, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:10):
I would assume there have been some conversations that leads
him to think that maybe there's something on the horizon.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
Yes, that's that's what I got, And so I kind
of pressed him on it. And this was the interaction
in all serious is do you know who the quarterback
is going to be? I mean, do you have an idea?
Speaker 4 (05:32):
After conversations? I do have an idea.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
Okay, do you like the idea?
Speaker 5 (05:39):
I like it enough to to uh be here smiling
in front of you, because I think we have a
good chance of that happening. And making the most out
of it.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Can you tell us who it is Miles?
Speaker 4 (05:51):
You know I can't do that.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
I've been asked multiple times did I continue that conversation
with Miles off the air, And the answer is no,
I did not.
Speaker 3 (06:00):
We were on a zoom. There are other people in
the room there.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
I believe the door might have even been open out
to the hallway.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
It was not one of those Hey, I'm very well
leading now. You could tell you who who are taking
what we're doing now right? No one's listening to this.
It wasn't one of those. I did not have the
advantage of being there in the room with him, so
I did not follow up. I could not.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
I don't have any more insight, but Gibby what blows
me away?
Speaker 4 (06:25):
Here?
Speaker 1 (06:26):
And Good Morning Football has run this, and ESPN has
run this. What blows me away is the number of answers,
and you could see it on social as well, in
the comments beneath the posts of what other people think
he's referring to. I have heard it means the Browns
are signing Russell Wilson. I have heard it means the
(06:46):
Browns are signing Joe Flacco. I have heard it means
the Browns are resigning Jamis. I have heard it means
the Browns are gonna sign Aaron Rodgers, which I highlight,
which I do not expect. I have seen it means
they're taking camp Ward. I've seen Shador Sanders, I've seen
Will Howard. I have also seen the Browns are trading
for Kyler Murray all of and I've seen that one
(07:10):
like five times in my comments. I want you to know,
I don't know. I also don't think that Kyler went
is gonna happen in any way, shape or form. But
it blows me away, just like the wide scope of
responses people thinking they know what Miles seems to suggest
he knows.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
Yeah, look, you you didn't even mention a guy like
Carson Wentz. You know, there's some other names out there.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
I saw.
Speaker 2 (07:40):
I saw something today on a free agent quarterback tracker
that had Teddy Bridgewater as a candidate to be at
like a QB three. So I mean it's I think
there's a lot out there. I think there's a lot
of options. I think the Browns feel like they're in
a good place, and I know they have one quarterback
(08:01):
in their room currently and obviously you know, Deshaun continues
his rehab. But I think they're evaluating everything right now.
I think they're waiting to see what might happen with
the Aaron Rodgers domino. Not for them per se, but
how it affects maybe some of their other options. Sure,
you just keep hearing that the Browns are going to
(08:23):
sign another quarterback, but it has to be at their price.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
And we forgot Kirk Cousins in that list as well,
and Cousins that there's the development over the weekend, and
Miles said what he said. He had the conversation here
on BPA the day before the Falcons made their decision,
which let me explain, was not in any way a
surprise to hold on to Kirk Cousins, and everyone had
(08:48):
this past weekend as this trigger day. Well, they got
to cut him because they don't want to pay him
ten million until you actually read the fine print on
the contract, and that ten million includes a twenty twenty
six offset, so really not They didn't have to write
him a check over the weekend. Yes, there is an
extra ten million tacked onto his guarantee, running it all
the way up to a full one hundred million over
(09:10):
two plus years, but there is an offset, and the
Falcons are holding on to him because they want something
in return. And there now it becomes a dance between
whether it's the Browns or anyone in the compensation game.
It's hey, we'll give you a seven and you pay
(09:31):
all of it, or we'll give you a five and
we'll chip in a couple of bucks. How much will
you chip in? Saw a story yesterday? They want a three?
You know you can go back and put this in
freezing cold takes if you want to later, Gibbie, I
cannot see anyone giving up a three for Kirk Cousins,
(09:51):
can you.
Speaker 2 (09:51):
No, absolutely not, and having to pay some of the cash. No,
will not gonna happen. You made that, Atlanta, You deal
with that. If you want to unload him, then we're
interested in having a conversation.
Speaker 1 (10:06):
But if the Falcons want to pay all twenty seven millions,
somebody may give them a three. But sure that trade
wouldn't happen at that compensation. Until we get to training
camp and somebody gets hurt somewhere else and a team
is truly desperate, or here's a scenario, a team is
(10:28):
in desperate need of a quarterback, let's say the Giants
and we go through the draft and the way the
board falls, they don't get a guy they want, okay,
and then post draft that's their only option, right. I
think personally here the Giants are desperate. I think the
Browns are urgent. Two different things. Browns are urgent, the
Giants are desperate.
Speaker 3 (10:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Might somebody pay the price for Kirk Cousins later, yeah,
but not now. I don't think until then the Falcons
hang on to him.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Yep. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:01):
And again I think those organizations doing their due diligence.
They have all these meetings, they they're working out well,
they're not working out guys, but they're going to pro days.
They're talking through things they have, they're working on a plan,
and they're working on a plan that has been put
in place, and we'll just kind of see how it goes. Again,
let's not forget that. Andrew Berry, when it comes to
(11:23):
making trades, is pretty darn.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
Good at this.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yes, so absolutely, And.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Sometimes we've seen trades happen. The Zadaria smith happened on
a Friday in late May, so you know, I mean
the Genavian Clowney, you know, acquisition happened. Well, into the
off season almost to the point where it was mandatory
mini camp time.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
The Amari Cooper and the Elijah Ward trades kind of
sort of came out of nowhere.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Yeah, So I think that the organizations doing whatever they
have to do. We've we've been preaching this on the
on best podcast available.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
There's a lot of time.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
There's a lot to happen between now and when we
get together for training camp.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
And as we sit here and take this. On Wednesday morning,
I mentioned Tom Pelasero. He reports that the vikings are
out on Aaron Rodgers, who did appear at a charity
flag football game over the weekend here in southern California.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
He did not speak to the media.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
His name is not on the event, but his organization
is the one that puts it on one of you know,
he has a hand at least in the organization. All
all the quarterbacks were here, Josh Allen and Daniel Jones
and Joe Flacco, long long list of quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers
and Bryce Young. Aaron did not speak, as far as
I can tell, to the media without the vikings in it.
(12:42):
If he wants to play, it's now to the Steelers
and the Giants. You know, I would pick, if I
were him, the Steelers over the Giants. I would prefer
to see him with the Giants. However, from our Brown
selfish perspective, because a I think that would take the
Giants out of the quarterback business at three, and that
chain is the top of the draft, because I think
(13:02):
if you're the Giants and you go get Aaron Rodgers
right now, and again, if I'm him, I wouldn't want.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
To do that one. But if he does go there,
you have to be all in.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
I mean, they're not going to pull a Cousins or
they're not gonna pull a Jordan love thing he or
a Penix or Jordan Love to me. You go, maybe
we take Travis Hunter, put him with Malik Neighbors and Aaron.
We're all in in twenty twenty five. As I said,
they're they're kind of desperate. If he goes to the Steelers, however,
it makes our two games interesting and I think it
(13:31):
makes the jockeying potentially between the Browns and the Giants
at the top of the draft that much more interesting
as well.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Absolutely, again, we got we got what five weeks to
the draft, five weeks siege, Yeah, maybe five.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Weeks, five weeks from this week, actually five weeks from
right now. The players that will go to Green Bay.
Last year there were thirteen players that went. Uh five
weeks from right now. Those players will be maybe even
at this minute, at a Place sixty event in Green
Bay with local kids. The commissioners usually there and that
(14:07):
is their first time with the media in the draft city.
Five weeks from to date. We don't know that list.
The list normally, it doesn't come out until about two
weeks before the draft. Shod Or Sanders has intimated that
he probably won't go. They might do their own thing.
Don't know about cam Ward or Travis Hunter or any
of the other guys.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
You should go.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
You get to taste the nectar of the greatest beer
maybe in the United States, which is the Spotted Kyle.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Oh yeah, I like Spotted Cowclaris Brew.
Speaker 4 (14:36):
Wisconsin.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
We want to get to JTS in a second, real quick.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
Other news around the division, most notably the Bengals on
Sunday night did the deal. They got Jamar Chase and
t Higgins wrapped up for big money. You're shaking your
head there. I am stunned. I'm not stunned. They signed
to both back. I really thought they were going to
make Tea Higgins play on the tag because that is
kind of sort of the Bengal way.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
But they didn't.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
They got a deal done and I've yet to see
and I am mildly skeptical, mildly, but I've heard from
reasonably good sources that yes, they did guarantee two years
of salary for t Higgins, which is something the Bengals
simply do not do. They did it for Joe Burrow.
I think they might have done it for Orlando Brown,
(15:18):
but they don't do it. They did it here allegedly.
On a personal level. I like both of them. I've
interviewed them both, especially love Jamar are awesome, dude. It's
good for them. And now Gibbe, we have to see
what they do with Trey Hendrickson.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, and boy, your front office and your coaching staff
in Cincinnati better'd be really good at evaluating talent coming
out in the draft and more importantly, developing talent, because
I don't know how you're going to pay a lot
of other people on that roster.
Speaker 3 (15:51):
Well, think about it.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
If you bring back Hendrickson and there's no way he's
going to get Miles money. He's not going to get
I'd be stunned if he got Max Crosby money.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
He is older than both. He's also performed really well.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
Nobody cumulatively in the last two years has more sacks
in the NFL than Trey Hendrickson.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
So he's done the numbers right. He has put them up.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Do people think he's an as sending player when his
age begins with a three? Do they think he's that
elite guy where if you drop him on another team,
he automatically changes their defense into an elite unit. I
don't know. I know I'd wont him on my team.
He's good, he's really good. But what do you pay him?
And now that you've had he's gone out there and
(16:31):
looked for a trade, the trade hasn't happened, Like no
one's given up a one forum. You bring him back,
But do you just give another one year band aid
on that contract? And let's say you do have him
back and everyone's happy, you also need ten other pieces
on that defense. And given how the defense played for
them last year, twenty five points a game. You can
(16:51):
score a lot of points, but if you're giving up more,
then you missed the playoffs. Yeah, they repeatedly scored thirty
points a game and lost. On that note, because I'm
rambling and because I've teased it, we need to get
to our guest. He's going to be playing opposite Miles Garrett,
the Brown's newest defensive end, Joe Tryon shoy Yanka. Welcome
(17:15):
to Cleveland. Welcome to the bar, tank.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Man, thanks for having me.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
I'm super excited to be here, super blessed to be welcome,
and I'm super excited to be in Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
All right, you signed the contract today. I'm sure your
post with a photo and all that it's like.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
About it, line all the autooed line smiles.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
First time you're a free agent, first time you've had
to go through this. What was this process like and
what was that moment like to sign that contract?
Speaker 5 (17:40):
It was interesting because I knew coming from from what
I what I played, and I knew I could play
in a bunch of different schemes. But the Browns, they
had a great scheme where where you're able to attack.
They have a great, great identity up front. It's where
the D line moves the defense and everything runs from
(18:00):
the D line. So I'm ready to join the defense
that just let you pin your ears back and just
just hunt and just hit things. So I'm super excited.
And it was, it was, it was. It was confusing,
but it wasn't really Once I once I heard the
philosophy of the Browns, you know, free agency, you know,
once I heard their offer through through their defense, I knew,
I knew I needed to be.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
There all right.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
And I feel I'm going to assume kind of what
you're getting at there that to plan a four to three,
like to put your hand down again consistently. I see
you nodding like that has to be and we're not
like saying bad things about the.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Bucks, but that has to be a breath of fresh
air for you.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
Man.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
It's just it's exciting because you're able to go fast
and hit something and not think about anything, and while
you're doing it, and you can do it at consistently,
play after play after play, and then you just, man,
you feel good doing that. And then you're hunting out there,
and I'm super excited.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
You more comfortable in a four to three.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
I'm just ready. I'm ready to just to hunt. I've
never played in the true fourth three. I came from
three to four college. So so this is gonna be
a good to tell. I'm excited to just let loose.
Speaker 4 (19:10):
All right.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
So here's the thing. How do you get more sacks? Joe,
And I know that's like always kind of the thing.
It's like, get in the backfield is one thing. Hey,
pressure is legit. I mean, like it's not just about
sacking the quarterback, it's about pressuring the quarterback. Is playing
opposite Miles Garrett. One of the reasons you were excited
(19:32):
when the Browns called.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
Man, that's a that's a that's a bookend right there.
One of the best players in the NFL periods. So
just being able to suit up and play it, play
against play play with him, line up against him, with
him on the line, it's just gonna be something in
saying I cannot wait for the opportunity and just ready
to just take it all in and learn and then
just learn while playing super fast.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
You got to meet him today, right, m h how'd
that go?
Speaker 4 (19:59):
It was a It was a great, great opportunity.
Speaker 5 (20:01):
You know, got his number, got his contact, super you know,
super amazing human.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
The there are parallels here, like guys that were first
round picks els where they get a second shot, and
then they go somewhere and they can play next to
a Miles Garrett. I'm thinking Leonard Floyd right with the Bears.
After four years he ends up with the Rams. He
plays alongside Aaron Donald and then bam, you see that explosion.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
Is that something we're gonna see?
Speaker 4 (20:29):
That's the plan?
Speaker 1 (20:31):
What about the number Grant delpis wearing nine? Joe, what
are we wearing?
Speaker 5 (20:36):
Give me a ninety ninety four at ninety six. I'll
be cool with anything in the nineties. I'm not really tripping,
all right?
Speaker 1 (20:43):
What about playing to the AFC noor. If you've sacked Lamar,
you've sacked Joe Burrow? How do you feel about that?
Speaker 4 (20:51):
Man?
Speaker 5 (20:51):
This is this is the conference you want to plan
when you when you turn your TV on. These are
the games you see, you know that stand out, the
snow games, those Thursday night games that just look, you
got everything blowing, you know, every distraction why you shouldn't
beat her, but you you there, the fans are there
that they hyped up. They want to beat her with you,
and I want to beat her for the fans. So
I'm excited for those.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Type of Joe You're saying you don't want to play
in the snow? Is that what you're saying?
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Yes, I love.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
I played in the snow once, man, we played in
college against Washington State, and I you know, I had
had a great time sliding around in the snow celebrating.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
So I'm excited for that.
Speaker 1 (21:23):
All right, So the Apple Cup in the snow, and
then last year we had we had the Steelers game
of the snow.
Speaker 3 (21:28):
Were you watching that Thursday night?
Speaker 5 (21:30):
I was tapped in. I was tapped in from my
my Tampa Bay condo.
Speaker 1 (21:35):
It's a lot warmer in your Tampa Bay condo than
it actually is down on the field.
Speaker 3 (21:39):
You realize that, I hope, so good, good, good.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Let's talk about off the field, Joe, because you did
a lot of work in Florida, off the field, in
the community in Tampa to help single mothers, right because
you were raised by a single mother, your mom, Andrea
did such a great job with you and your sister Julia,
who's now just finishing med school and going into a
residency in New York. How important is that to give
(22:04):
back to the community and how much of that is
going to be your life now in Northeast Ohio.
Speaker 5 (22:10):
Super important without single moms. You know, the world don't run.
There's super there's superheroes.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
You know.
Speaker 5 (22:15):
That's that's my my description for any single parent out
there and your superhero for for your child, for your family,
because you know what takes, you know, a village. You
know you're doing that by yourself, and we recognize firsthand.
I recognized that the struggles in I know how blessed
I am to be able to be in this position
that you can give back. So I'm definitely going to
(22:35):
be in the in the community in Ohio and a
super super looking forward to be in this.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
See a lot of pictures as well.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Talk to people who are there for some of the
events you went to, and they all talked about like
the smiles, not only your smiles, but like the smiles
from the kids, Like it does really hit you where
you can see the impact you have.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
Yeah, it's just it really can't even put of, uh
put a value on it is invaluable. And you know,
I just can't wait to help out those that just
you know, needed help when when I know I needed help,
when when I didn't have it. So I'm ready to
be that, to be that a role model.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
All right, totally different topic.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
You're from Seattle, you played it, you dub am I.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
Wrong to assume you're a Seahawks fan.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
I may or may not have had a Michael Bennett jersey.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
Did you have a Russell Wilson jersey?
Speaker 4 (23:32):
Richard Sherman?
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Okay, so I get it. You're on the defensive side
of the ball.
Speaker 4 (23:37):
Patrick Kearney.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
If you know anything about the name Patrick Kearney, that
was my first jersey I ever had.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
Patrick Kearney, University of Virginia, former Atlanta Falcon, Patrick Kearney,
that guy.
Speaker 5 (23:46):
Former Seahawks. He had a ninety seven jersey I had
the had. I had the honor of rocking that as
my first ever NFL jersey.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Okay, as a kid, have you seen Russ in the
building yet? Today?
Speaker 5 (23:59):
I think I glanced over and he was in the cafeteria,
but I didn't get to meet him out.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Okay, if you have the chance to play with him.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
This is all hypothetical here, I realize you know we're
recording this on a Thursday during creagency. A lot can
happen between now at the time it actually gets posted.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Would that be something that would interest you for sure?
Speaker 5 (24:19):
You know you know I would always be interested in
the super Bowl, you know, winning quarterback on on on
a roster that could offer those type of insights and
leadership and just overall the human being that you know
he is, I've seen and you know know what he
could print the organization.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
All right, final thing here, obviously you're this is the
bark tank We're you're gonna be playing in the dog pound, Howard,
Bruno and Bailey. As I stalked your Instagram.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yo, it was my Australian shepherds. They doing good man.
Speaker 5 (24:53):
They they they cooling it in Washington right now with
my dukes, uh protecting, you know, just barking and noise
and when the when the doorbell rings.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
So they're not coming to Cleveland.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
It depends, it depends.
Speaker 5 (25:05):
I might have to get a bigger dog out here
because they're insane that together.
Speaker 4 (25:09):
They need like a walker all the time. They're insane.
Speaker 1 (25:12):
Okay, well, you know what, you could be the big
dog as well and get a new big dog and
bring the other dogs you know when you have it.
Speaker 4 (25:20):
Whatever you want.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
We appreciate you, Joe, thanks for doing the bar tank Man.
Can't wait to meet in person. Good luck to you, sir.
Speaker 4 (25:26):
Of course, Andrew, thanks for having me take care.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
I've said this a couple of times, Gibbe. I think
that is a big upside play here for the Browns.
Former first round pick Todd Bowles moved him around a lot.
I don't know if that was to his It wasn't
to his benefit. I'll say it that way. And I
think rushing you put them wide opposite Miles. I think
it's a good position to be.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
Yeah, let him attack, That's what I mean. He said
it multiple times in this press conference in his interview
with you. Just excited to be able to run downhill
and chase the quarterback and get after the quarterback and
make plays in the backfield that forced that quarterback to
make mistakes with the football, hopefully at the benefit of
our secondary. So he's exciting. I think it's a good addition.
(26:12):
I think you can't have enough guys on that defensive front,
especially with the rotation that Jimy Schwartz likes to use.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
Next week, as mentioned, it is back to draft season,
not that we're not in draft season right now, and
maybe next week, Gibbe, we do a deeper dive on
journey at Huntington Bank field on draft night. Do you
have a favorite Journey song other than Don't Stop Believing?
Speaker 2 (26:42):
I do, and I don't remember the name of it,
but it's about it's about them being on the road.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
Anyway you want it?
Speaker 4 (26:49):
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
Wheel in the Sky.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
No. It's kind of like a ballads he has trouble Siege.
Do you know? CJ's shaking her head. She knows, but
I can't remember the name of it. It's a really
cool song. Faithfully, Faithfully there it is faithful Jordan with
the assist.
