Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Tez Johnson spoke to the media during his introductory press conference after being selected 235th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. highlights before every game.

I used to watch the Athton Thomas, but if you
watch Bucky Organ highlights when we first got the Organ,
nobody could touch them.

It's like one of those things like I tried to
time into my game.

And don't get me wrong, I was always good at
breaking tackles and things like that. I definitely wanted to
be able to make three guys and it's make four
guys miss like that's the elite men of the game.
And when you're watching me play, you're gonna be like, oh,
this guy electrifying you. Can't get him down, and if
you want to go down, he go down on his own.
So I'm kind of I'm like a squirrel man like

Really, I don't really trust those guys. They can get
away whenever they want to.

So yeah, as a Day three guy, special teams are important.
You have the ability to play a factor as a returner.
Can you talk about your experience at a word in

Oh yeah, I can't wait to get that for Tampa.

And I can tell you right now any team I
was going to get drafted to that point, return is
my It's something I take pride in. I would not
want to be the receiver that just play receiver. I
want to play both receiving punk returner. That's my goal
in the league. Be a dynamic punk returner and then
add some pieces to the offense and be able to.

Work as a receiver to like being being a Swiss
army night.

So I'm I can't wait to get there and be

my family.

Everybody was a little it was a little crazy. As
soon as I got to call, my mom dropped to
her knees. She cried so bad. It was crazy. I'm like, oh, Lord, like,
you know what I mean.

I was trying to like I was holding tears, and

and just what that what those emotions were like.

Looking at her, I knew she was gonna cry. I

She She's been through so much.

I put it through so much as a young kid,
so I mean now even the sacrifice she made, even
just I know it's hard on her, but now hopefully
I can.

guys that won't be able to separate because of my size.

I watch Cooper Cup, Tyler Lockett, and I'm I think
I just watched Bob because my brother like a quarterback,
but I watch him.

But yeah, those are the guys I watch, and they
elite at the game. They very elite, a very tech
technical sound and like they you.

can be able to learn from them too.

best quarterback in the league. And I mean, ah, like
