Speaker 2 (00:38):
I believe the technical term as we do it live
on a Tuesday edition is we are loaded up.
Speaker 3 (00:43):
I think we're loaded up. There's a lot going on.
We're compressing. It's a yeoman's effort from Gibbet.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
We're compressing. We've got a lot going on today's show.
It's sponsored by our great friends at Sugardale, representatives from
the Browns players, alumni and staff, and Sugardale Greater Cleveland
Food Bank today to help distribute food for Thanksgiving meals.
Sugardale is donating over seven pounds of product ranging from
hams to bacon. The Browns are also donating ten thousand
dollars for turkeys, so that is very very cool. In
(01:12):
the old time slot, this used to be a fun one.
We'd go down there and slinging around a little bit.
To be honest, one of our favorites it was, Yeah,
we had some good ones there.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
This is usually where you would.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Get the the Duan Jones. We had Duan Sure, We've
had all the guys come through and we get into
their favorite sides and stuff, and there's been more than
a few that have been when they are utter it,
I'm like, I don't know that that's such traditional Thanksgiving.
But God bless yeah, live however you want on the time.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
I think there's a bigger divide on Thanksgiving now than
maybe there ever was before, and I think a lot
of people are wisely moving away from the bird. Had
Isaiah maguiren or talked to him yesterday? His family does
a Thanksgiving ham. I was talking to cook. They're doing brisket, Like,
(01:59):
do you think that that is just because I'm pretty
sure Blake Whitehart's family does a prime rib for Thanksgiving, which,
oh baby Christmas.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
White Heart like him and cam Thomas like might think
this is a bigger holiday than Christmas.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Well, from a player standpoint, depending on when we play,
if we play on Christmas like Thanksgiving, you can kind
of have Thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
Yeah a little bit.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
How much credit do you think you and I deserve?
And I will give you the majority of the credit
because I had never considered it. This is probably six
seven years ago on the show. Let's share the credit
because I want to give you a little more though,
like if there's a I'm going to give you a
little more. So you said to me, I want to say, like,
for one run Christmas, I was making a transformative turkey,
and and you made the point of you're making the
(02:45):
point about how it's not a great bird. And I
initially I always defended it, so I thought, well, you know,
I guess it's okay. But then you said that to me,
and then I said, well, I'm going to make a
transformative turkey, and I made when it was fine, and
then I started to think about it, and I think
you said something. You said, well, when's the last time
you've seen it at a white tablecloth?
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (03:04):
Never, never, zero.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
And there are there is not a single restaurant establishment
in this country that is built entirely on turkey.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
No.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I just drove back earlier today. I was picking up
some lunch for me and miss k and went past
a honey baked ham Company, like a restaurant store. You
walk right in Ham's year round.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
What do we do?
Speaker 3 (03:24):
We sling Hams Baby year round. Yeah, and there's always
people coming in no other But if that was a
turkey place like Boston Carvers or Boston Market or whatever,
they tried it, Yeah, but then they are the way
of the Dodo. But they have others. They had other suns. No, no, no,
we're not a bake ham Is like we do ham.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
I think we did this a couple of years ago
and somebody said that there actually was like a restaurant
that was a Thanksgiving shop. It was like Thanksgiving year round.
Guess where it is out of business. Gonzo gone, Gonzo.
And I've been saying, like, quite honestly, if you want
poultry for that time of year, that the rotisserie or
(04:00):
a corner something like that. A whole roasted chicken, which
is easier to cook, is a superior bird by a
wide margin.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Think about the things and the links that you go
to to make your transformative turkey palatable. Oh my god,
you got it. Like you know, it's upside down, So
the juice is dripping to the breasts, you're rubbing butter
under the skin, You're doing all these things, stuff, all
this and that, Eh. I think people should go. I
think if you want to have a bird like, for example,
(04:30):
they do a turn duckan like, just do a bunch
of duck. Duck's great. The luck is tremendous. Yeah, forget
the tur and forget the end. Just duck do that.
That's all you need. Yeah, No, I think it's right.
I mean a smoke turkey legs great, but that is
not that's not But every turkey lan has two legs.
(04:51):
Only two unless it's a John Mann in turkey the
turn duck. And I think it like the stuff the
cis and the stuffing that it was all adhered to.
I have no idea. It wasn't natural how he did that.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, I took I saw Kyle Brandt took a chainsauto
turn duck in yesterday, which is pretty funny.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Cut himself. He did that, was does today, which unfortunately
we were on the finals. We were on the wrong
side of the angry run.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Right, but we were also a finalist because Harold was
a finalist.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
So that was very good to see.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
Yeah, when he ripped the sheath off of the chainsaws,
I saw him blood.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
There's blood. I knew what happened when he did that. Yeah,
he says Thanksgiving the best holiday by the way.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Well, I mean, okay, let me just say this. I
do think this is true of Thanksgiving. I think it's
the best football weekend of the year.
Speaker 3 (05:37):
So what he said is, when you're a kid, there's
nothing that can compete with as he the phrase he
used was with the pure punching power of gifts and
Santa Claus and.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
Christmas, which Tyson in eighty six, there's no beating it
one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (05:51):
But he said, as an adult and the heirs are
I'm going to give my pushbakes it as an adult,
Thanksgiving is the best. You get food and drink all day,
foot great football all day, leads into a football weekend
right after it. It's just, you know, from that standpoint,
it's pure joy. But my pushback on that is, boy,
that's a little bit of a selfish take there, because
(06:13):
Kyle's got kids. To me, like the joy, the real
my favorite Christmas is ever or not when I was
a kid, I mean at the time I thought those
were But then when you can live that magic with
your own kids, come on, that's it doesn't get any better.
That's undefeated. Yeah, So I was like I had to
push back on that.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
Yeah, I think that's true, and maybe he really enjoys
the Thanksgiving foods.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
That's fine, But I mean a primate is better. There's
no scenario where it's not. Here's the other thing. It's
not like the day after Halloween everybody starts playing Thanksgiving
music and starts talking about their favorite Thanksgiving movies and
all these great Thanksgiving things. No, in fact, now they're
already there. Christmas is coming the day after Halloween.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
As I think in a Thanksgiving has been maybe properly limited.
I mean it feels like it skips over, it almost
goes Halloween into Christmas now.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Where Thanksgiving is a speed bump on the road to
speed bump. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
And I.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Think it is the best football weekend though, because you have,
in the instance of what we have coming this weekend,
you've got a really good and now it benefits because
the Cowboys are interesting they always are, and Detroit's good,
so you always Now you have good games in the afternoon.
The Dallas game is a mammoth game against Kansas City
that has a chance to be I mean that might
(07:36):
break ratings records. Yeah, Chiefs Cowboys return to Burrow. It's
Burrow against Ravens at night. Who does Detroit play in
the early packers. Yeah, they're three that's bangers. Those are
three bangers. That that then dovetails into a Friday. You
have Bears and numbers at three o'clock. But there's also
(07:57):
in college football. The Egg Bowl is at so the lane.
Kevin after that will decide where he's going to coach
next year. He's going to make that public. That night
is Texas A and m Texas. So that's that's a
mammoth game in Austin. That's a night game. Those two
hate each other.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Texas has to win that to be to have any chance.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Yes, Also, you had the state high school football semifinals
Friday night, so you have that going on on Friday
night and then into Saturdays. The greatest rivalry weekend in
college football. It's Iron Bowl, High Stay, Michigan, all that
and then a really nice Sunday. So it's the best
football weekend we have. It's organized, all the levels are
playing high school, college pro. From that standpoint, it's aces.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
It's just it's just the food. Yeah, here's the other thing.
Let me just say this, I think Thanksgiving would do
better take the football part of that out of it.
So and I know you can't see, so you can't.
But Thanksgiving as it is really just a big family
(08:58):
get together. Yeah right, it's too close to Christmas, which
is another just big family get together that's frankly more popular. Yeah,
like Thanksgiving might be kind like we talked about with
the PGA Championship, Like PG Championships lost where it is now,
it needs to go, you know, back to where it
was later on. I don't know. I don't know what
the answer is because yet and so you got fourth
(09:19):
of July, Like I think you need one of those
a quarter.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
I wonder if it should be. I wonder if the
ideal time. I like, how we're going to change Thanksgivings
date on the count.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Let's go to like maybe Memorial Day just becomes like
Memorial Day slash Thanksgiving.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah, like it's or maybe it's a better standalone like
in October.
Speaker 3 (09:40):
That's why people are excited about it earlier.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
Yeah, but that's not really that's not really a family
thing necessarily.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
That's more for the kids.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
Like if you threw another family thing because you have
the Easter takes care of spring.
Speaker 3 (09:51):
Maybe Labor Day, Labor Day, it's the right to kickoff
to football season, and you've got like I'm trying another
one though another their holiday. Yeah, four day work week
type thing. So August has bub guess there's nothing from August.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
August is vacation month.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
It's like, I think it's got to be October. Yeah,
I think it's got to be middle of October.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Middle let's come together and thank you, be thankful.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Then great to see you guy, And I really like
to wait another sixty days before I see you again.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Yeah, yeah, I think that's it. I think we've done it. Yeah,
and then it's full speed ahead to Chris, you're having
three no matter what. I'm doing this more for you
than anybody. By the way, Like if.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
You go to UH, if you go to the French
laundry in the UH the NAPA, sure you know what
you will not see on the menu as a as
a featured item, something that's there every single night, a
whole roasted turkey.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
You know you will see a whole roasted chicken. I
love that chicken. Every single would say that they became.
It takes to make it really good.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
A lot of salt and that's about it. Yeah, a
lot of salt cooked that sucker at a high temp.
For about forty five minutes.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
And boom, Yeah, away you go.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
The gift that keeps on giving.
Speaker 2 (11:07):
Pretty simple, pretty pretty simple. I'll make a last night
go ahead on more.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
This is one more thing. I just think that, like,
we should get to a place where look at Ted legend, legend, legend,
what a confidence stride. Well, wouldn't you be? I would be?
I'd be peek cocking around. Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
I actually used him as an example for NBC. He's
starting to think about what he wants to be in life,
and I said, I got a guy for you.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah, Ted, Yeah that's Theodore. Not bad. Do that guy. Yeah,
that's a good, that's a good, that's a good run. Yeah.
So I do think that, And it's funny to me
because we have these different traditions, right with Christmas. Some
people do do a Christmas Ham, some people do some
people bust out another turkey for Christmas, which people do
(11:54):
bottles in my mind, yeah, prime rib. Some people do
a pork crown roast. I've heard of that. Yeah, I've
heard of a leg of lamb.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (12:03):
These are all good. I just think we should like
homogenize these things, and then there should also be we
need to get together as a people and say, listen,
King Crab is out of control. One hundred dollars, it's
out of control.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
I was at the Costcoat and Sunday, at my weekly
Sunday Costco run. Yeah, and when I saw the boxes,
that box is a gee. Now that sucker was one
hundred and seventy nine bucks.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
To then three hundred. You're like, okay, still, I.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Guess I'll still make it work. And now it's a
thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Yeah, what are we doing the problem is those crabs
are gone, like those crabs have given their lives to
the great.
Speaker 4 (12:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
I just wonder how much get wasted in the in
that cost? Probably a great many has Who's buying it?
Speaker 3 (12:47):
I don't know. I mean, and I think there should
be a holiday that is that's what you get is
it's the King Crab Holiday. I don't know what holliday.
We want to wonder? You could go in there and
get them at at that old price. Oh yeah, twenty
five bucks a pound, right, the old the old days.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Yeah, well it used to be eighteen because it was
ten pounds.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Buck eighty yeah the math yeah, yeah, but I mean,
come on, and I love it now? How can I
justify that? You can't just is it?
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Like?
Speaker 3 (13:11):
Is it one hundred dollars a pound?
Speaker 5 (13:12):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (13:14):
Holy cow?
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Yes. And it went from third It was in the
like for a long.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Time, COVID, It went to the thirties, forties like okay, yeah, yeah,
now this is where we're at.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Lobsters stayed right there. It did lotsable, very doable. Yeah.
I made a fraudy diavolo the other It was a delight.
It's a real delight. Yeah. Yeah, but I mean, what
are we gonna do?
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Yeah, I think it's they're both take a little bit
of effort to cook. The lobster's probably easier. All you
can do is get that sucker out on top.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
The crab.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
I always pre cut them yeah yeah, yeah before, So
that's a little bit of work. That's a great job
out of you, king crab. Just one day a year
where we can have a little holiday and all crisis. Yeah,
I like it.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
I'm for that.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
How about those diners last.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Night solving the world's problems?
Speaker 2 (14:06):
I get home from basketball, NBC is just in the doldrums.
But he's optimistic and he's like we're down because of
course now he's weird the caroline is weird for him
because of his very Is.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
He running around in a McMillan jersey.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
H he's all about it. That's his guy, teed McMillan. Technically,
that's his guy.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
All over your guy too.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Attributes of do you think you think Canalics can get
us fired up in the second half? Dude, I'm like, dude,
I'm not doing Panthers daily. Get the hell out of here.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
Canalist get us fired up in the second half?
Speaker 2 (14:38):
I said, Buddy, I said, so, what's the score? And
they were down at half and he goes, yeah, but
we picked off Party three times. And I said, oh,
you're in big trouble then, Bud, he said, I'm comfortable. Comfortable, comfortable.
If he's been picked off three times and you're losing,
he should.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Be just to be fair, we're just Bryce Young threw
one of the worst picks in the end zone from
first and goal at the one that you'll ever see,
Like he could have just walked into the band zone
and instead he floated it and the cornerbacks left off
and picked it. Yeah, that one was tough. Although mcmill
in another touchdown for him. I mean, the guy's just
(15:12):
a force. He's a stud. He is a stud. He's
one of those.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
It's funny, I do think like wide receivers getting easier
and easier to project from college to pro. Like they
come in and they're good to go, like he was
good to go. He's great at Arizona. He's dominated. Arizona
comes into the league, he's great. All these Buckeye receivers,
so many of them, they come in, they're great, Like
it's it's not that hard. Neighbors last year came in,
he was great.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
Here's the thing with McMillan that was kind of crazy
is that if you go back to the original mox
he always went in the top five. Yea, either he
went to the New England if they didn't take a
tackle to give Drake May the weapon, or he went
to like Jacksonville. And then remember all the stuff around
the draft was like, oh man, he's he doesn't love football. Yeah,
(15:54):
bad guy, blah blah blah. There was a report that
came out the other day he was Kyle and McVeigh
to their favorite offensive player in the draft, and that
there were had Carolina not taken them eight there were
like six teams that were trying to trade up to
eight six seven to get in front of them or
eight nine to go to go get him.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
He flipped their offense by himself.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah, he helped Bryce Young needs to be to be honest,
if I met Atlanta, and I know that Caroly would
never try him to Atlanta doesn't make any sense. But
I do think if he were in Atlanta, he would
be really good. First all, he plays great in that building.
I just think he's at a dome. I think he's
a dome guy.
Speaker 2 (16:35):
Yeah, Arizona because they could be in a quarterback if
they move off of Kyler, do they You know, is
there a situation where they where he would go fit
in there?
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Off air eyes had a big light bulb moment that
I think could make some sense. You got some thoughts, Yeah, thoughts.
You have a few thoughts there.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Hey, Happy birthday to the great Bernie Cozar. Bernard you
mat her bybe you met her, the great Bernie Kosar.
Happy birthday to him. He is home. It's crazy, but
so so cool to see that he's back. And happy

Speaker 3 (17:28):
We're guessing the scores already, version to be tough version.
I mean, where they're not here? Where the where's the list?
Speaker 2 (17:34):
You're going to get a list? A list? Yeah, you
know what they're doing in there. He's Gibbe Pravts, Pravts,
pravats legend.
Speaker 3 (17:45):
Hey, hey, hey come on you come on? Yes, thank
you so much, very much, very good. Hey Gibbe.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
How's the magnets going over there? Go Navy beat Army.
Gotta get it done.
Speaker 3 (17:55):
A great uniform game, it always is, by the way, Siciliano,
can I get over how much we like uniforms? So
you can't get over how much we love him, how
much we get attack out him momentarily, Yeah, he's got
he can't get over. I'm like, what do you mean
to kick it over? This is there?
Speaker 2 (18:07):
I don't know why it'said anything he worries about, like
the fact that we like talking about.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
He said that if there was some invasion of one
country to another country and I got to see it
on TV and they had like a miss mixed match
camo that they were wearing, you know, desert camo when
they were doing a jungle invasion, that I would have
a comment about it. And I would. I would too,
I would. It's camo. You're gonna lose. Yeah, you're gonna
be Oh, I can see you. You don't bund in. Yeah, yeah,
(18:33):
but I mean I think I've been obsessed with uniforms
since I was a child. Yeah, it's yeah, same, Yeah.

Yeah, so we're gonna am I gonna try is are
we going? Are we trying back for the Yeah, We're
gonna run it back, run it out. Okay, to run
it back? See how many I can get? Exact? Now,
here's the thing is earlier in the week. Well, and
I'm missing what I consider to be a really important
piece of information that helps me with this. Yep. So
that normally this is laid out. We have the announcers. Yeah,
(20:12):
sometimes you get groupings like signs from the announcers. Yeah,
so this this is this feels like I'm flying block.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
Well we can we have the announcers on our end.
We can give them to you.
Speaker 3 (20:24):
I had it to I thrive, ready, but I thrive
with the visual medium.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
Fair ready, Yeah, Packers at Lions Burkhart Brady andrews Ronaldi,
Packers at Lions, Big game. It's a massive game, the Lions.
The Lions are win one, lose one, win one, lose one.
I don't know what's going on with them. They don't
seem right. They did not seem right.
Speaker 3 (20:54):
In the game. I would say if we were playing
the real the original game, I would have said, I'd
say Packers. I would say Lions minus three, because I
think it's either three and a three, two and a
half or three and a half. You think lions, Yes, okay,
So to get it on the exact doh, Lion's looking
a little squeaky, little shaky. I'm gonna go on the
(21:15):
lower side here, Lions minus two and a half. Got it,
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (21:22):
That's what got it exactly. Another good one. Staying on
the Thanksgiving holiday, Chiefs at Cowboys Nance Romo. Wolfson, by
the way, as I was watching NBC, says to me
at halftime last night, He's like, do you still like
(21:42):
the Manning cast? I said, not as much anymore. I'm
out on it. I don't like a.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
Script, totally out on it. And he goes, what do
you mean? Scripted. I said, don't like have this scripted jokes,
Like they should just be able to talk.
Speaker 2 (21:52):
Like the scripted stuff bugs me. And I said, I
liked at the beginning. Now I'm kind of out on it.
And then I said, you know the other thing that
occurs to me, And I don't know if it's just
because almost had a rough string or if it's.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
I mean, Collins or THREEC is still very good.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Brady's coming along, but I think Bucke and Aikman are
just so good.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
Since, yes, they are just so good.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I think Akman was emboldened by the fact that Fox
is like, yeah, we don't need you. And I think
like the idea of like another's Cowboys quarterback who's not
nearly as decorated as him being like the darling of
the eye of everybody like Aikman, is unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
Right, they're they're the best unfiltered too.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Yeah, they are, so they are. It's so cool.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
I think it's really good. I think that the two
of them, it took that move. They were always really good,
they were always a standard, but now I think they've
even exceeded.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
Now they're the best. Yeah, that's round the best. So
I think this should be Chiefs minus three and a half.
But I'm not going to go three and a half.
I think the Cowboys get a little bit of a bump.
So this is I'm gonna I'm gonna go on a
number here, Chiefs minus three. Nail it. Let's go, dude,
nailed it. Let's go and see now all right? I
(23:04):
don't think so here we go. What do I need
to get? How many games we have this week? I
think you need to get forty seven percent? Is everybody
on this week? Is this a full sixteen or full sixteen?
Speaker 4 (23:11):
There are no buys?
Speaker 5 (23:12):
All right?
Speaker 3 (23:12):
So I need to get seven. Yeah, you're gonna get it.
You're almost no way, dude.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
Bengals at Ravens, Tariico, Garrett Stark, Garrett getting the call up.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
That's a big one.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Uh, Collin's worth pulling the al Michaels. I only do
one game a week and it's on s.
Speaker 6 (23:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Me, he's done five hundred games. It's probably time. Yeah, Ravens.
I really liked it when they just did no whole
numbers because now whole numbers are back and trying to
figure out which game is gonna be the whole number game.
It's hard, this feels this feels like a classic whole
number game. To me, I'm gonna go Ravens minus seven. Wow, Yeah,
(23:54):
I almost I have to. I think we have to.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
We have to wonder if there needs to be an
investigation if this keeps up, I'd like to go six.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
I think there might be I'm enjoying.
Speaker 2 (24:03):
I don't know what's going on on this. I don't
know what has been done. There could be collusion on
g Mans.
Speaker 4 (24:07):
I want to see that. I don't think Nicholas wants
to see that.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Nobody wants to. I don't know.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
I think this continue. We've never had a three and.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
Oh on it.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
No, we probably have. I don't think so even in
the old days. Here we go, all right, we're on
to Friday, aren't we? Friday game?
Speaker 4 (24:24):
There?
Speaker 2 (24:24):
It is all right, Friday afternoon, Friday afternoon. Al is
on this one with Kirk and Kaylee Hartung. It is
Bears at Eagles, Bears at Eagles.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
So the Bears were two and a half over the
Steelers at home. They were Eagles minus three and a half.
So this is one where it's Eagles minus seven. Well,
we can end the investigation by a big margin. Wow,
(25:05):
I was going to go three, but I thought it
was more than three. I mean that's a massive number.
I mean that makes me feel like Ali's are gonna win,
like the Eagles are winn by one hundred and ten.
Like that is such a good with one seven seven.
So that's three on the numbers so far.
Speaker 2 (25:19):
Yeah, yep, yep, three out of four on the number
after ten weeks of an NFL season, where none Now
we're two weeks three, second week in run.
Speaker 3 (25:28):
It comes right after we brought we may, we brought
it up, we made it public.
Speaker 4 (25:31):
Why is that?
Speaker 3 (25:32):
I don't know. I don't know why.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (25:34):
It's a lot.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
I know the bear has been just getting by. But like, geez,
all right, Sunday, one o'clock, forty nine ers at Brown's,
Kevin Harland, Trent Green, Melanie Collins.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
These guys do a good job.
Speaker 4 (25:46):
Harlot will be on the pregame.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
Oh nice, he's such a good dude. He's an icon.
I love that guy. He's so good. On NBA Niners,
this is one where I could be punished for seeing it.
But Niners minus five and a half.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Got it exactly all right, There we go that's four
is insane. Jaguars at Titans. Spirodidas, Anna Marchiletta and a
D D on the call for Jaguars at Titans.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
So I've written down Jags minus ten. Should the Jags
be favored by ten over anybody on the road. The
Seahawks were just thirteen. Titans covered that U alright, this
is what I'm gonna go with a half he here,
Jags minus nine and a half. Jaguars minus six and
(26:36):
a half. That was just three off six. The half
part was right though, you know that part right?
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Still four and two, cruising, still one o'clock state, still
in the AFC South, Texans at Colts, Iron Eagle, JJ Watt,
Evan Washburn.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
All of a sudden, this is a big game. Texans
are two games back.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Texans have won four out of five, They've won three
in a row without c. J.
Speaker 4 (26:57):
Strout.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
Their defense is un defense is legitimate. I've got because
of their defense playing so well, I'm gonna go Colts
minus three, Colts minus four and a half. All right,
now we're back. This is hard. He's so fine. You
know you gotta do is get three.
Speaker 4 (27:16):
Four and one out of a gate.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
It was pretty good, I know, but I have a.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
You're not going to Saints at Dolphins Chris Meyers, Mark
Schala than Jen Hale on the call. Saints at Dolphins,
Dolphins minus seven, Dolphins minus six. We are at the
Metowlands Atlanta at the Jets Kenny Alberty game. Jonathan Vilma
(27:43):
and Meghan Oliviy. Here's the thing about Atlanta. If they
beat the Jets, which they should, If they beat the Jets, if.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
The Bucks the Bucks play.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
The Bucks Cardinals home, which is losable for them, and
the Carolina Panthers play the Rams, they will lose. They
will be just a game out of first. If Atlanta
can win.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
That's the worst division in football, clearly.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
But like if they if Atlanta's not out of it, no,
which is pretty crazy. As bad as they've been, they
are not out of it.
Speaker 3 (28:16):
The gutlass Falcons all right, Falcons minus three.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
Old days, you get it, Falcons minus two and a half.
Speaker 4 (28:32):
The disappointment on the children's faces back here is just well.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Now, it's like I'm supposed to go now, We're fine.
Get your head right. I feel like my head is right,
not locked in. I am locked in. But that was
back to a dumb half one Cardinals at Bucks. Kevin Coogler,
Darryl Johnson, Allison Williams on the call, Bucks minus three. Yes,
(28:56):
let's go. It's back, baby, come on, is back?
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Rammant at Carolina, Rammitt at Carolina.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
I'm gonna be so madified missus fire a half. Rams
has his.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
Hands put together. Literally, pray you, Gabriel.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Take them to the farmers market, young Gabriel, two for
one special. I'm gonna go with what I wrote, Rams
minus six and a half. Don't be seven, just don't
be seven ten and a half?
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Okay, fine, I don't understand that at all.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
The Rams are the best team of the league.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
Yeah, but Carolina's not like I think Rams are gonna
I think they're saying Rams gonna house them.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Well, it's interesting in the public. Rams are only seven
at home against Tampa and they're ten and a half
in the road against Carolina.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Well that tells you what people what they think of
Carolina versus Tampa.
Speaker 4 (30:00):
Well, Sunday, by the way, the disappointment on g Man's
face and you get one wrong is quickly becoming my
favorite thing.
Speaker 3 (30:08):
He doesn't understand this kind of.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
What do you think of Carolina were in the Black
Helmets Fellowship.
Speaker 3 (30:12):
By the way, love it. Panthers are black. They're black,
so I think it's great. I think that should be
their helmet.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
I agree with you. I don't know why they didn't
go that way initially. It should always have been the idea.
I mean, they went with like the Raiders, silver and
black and that kind of blue.
Speaker 5 (30:31):
There.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
I mean, they're their color scheme and their logo all
of it's a little bit of a cheat code with
the blues pretty and the black and all of that.
But I do think it's weird to me that they
didn't just go with a black helmet.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
All day long. I think it looks good like that.
Speaker 2 (30:43):
Those are the two them and the them and the
Ravens are the two teams of the league where the
mascot is black.
Speaker 3 (30:47):
You should wear black.
Speaker 2 (30:48):
That's right, fit. Yeah, yeah, so yeah, I like him too,
all right. Sunday four o'clock Slate Vikings at Seahawks Joe Davis,
Greg Olsen, Am Oliver, Holy smokes, is this a Kevin
O'Connell quasi?
Speaker 3 (31:05):
What have we done? What have we done? What did
we do? Johnald?
Speaker 2 (31:10):
Can you imagine Justin Jefferson looking at Jackson Smith and
Jigmin going in, Hey, yeah, how's that?
Speaker 3 (31:15):
Did you see?
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Jackson Smith and Jigba has more receiving yards than five
teams wide receiver rooms, including ours by himself.
Speaker 3 (31:24):
Yeah, that doesn't surprise. He's got fourteen hundred, but there's five.
I mean, I knew that we were throwing it tight
ends has more SAX than teams.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
Yeah, like what Miles is doing at defensive end is
what Jackson Smith and doing the receiver. It's Josh Gordon
and Tyree Kill and him have the most yards through
these games. Through eleven games, he had more yards receiving
than anybody.
Speaker 3 (31:44):
Hold On, did you see there's one I don't think
he's having like hold on, there's one stat that I
came across that forty of the receiving yards are him.
I sent him my boy Dizzio.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
By the way, while he looks that up. We do
have some news from the league regarding Carolina that the
NFL suspended Panther safety Trevon Morig one game.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
And they did not wa and not they did not
spend suspend John Jennings good, Yeah, dude punched him in
the Yeah, it's enough in the NATS. That's enough. Yeah,
all right, top yards per team pass attempt seasons in
NFL history, So this is a prior each yards per
team teams pass attempts Okay number six Brown, Max Speedy
(32:33):
nineteen forty seven, three point eight seven. So that means
of every pass attempt he got that they threw no
matter who he averaged gaining three point eight seven yards.
Lance Alworth nineteen sixty five was four yards, Elroy crazy legs,
hirsh In nineteen forty five four point zero one yards,
(32:55):
number three all time, Jackson Smith and Jigba in twenty
twenty five four point four nine yards. Wow. I mean
when you think about your people in the thirties and forties,
there's a period where we were averaging five yards attempt
is a team? Yeah, he's averaging four point five yards
in attempt and clude past is not thrown too, not
(33:16):
thrown to him? Yeah, correct. Harlan Hill in nineteen fifty
six four point five to one, and then the greatest
season ever in this metric Jim Benton in nineteen forty
five five point three six. As Scott Barrett, who posted
this on Twitter, said, what JSN is doing? What jaysn
is doing was thought to be impossible to watch on
a color TV up against defensive backs who weren't fresh
(33:38):
off of a tour in the Pacific.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
Nailed it, Yes, absolutely nailed it. Yeah, so he's he's
doing it. Bike's at Seahawks.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
I'm going with Seattle minus seven.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Dog Seattle minus ten and a half.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
That's good, that's finny. Yep. Bills saves are some crazy lines.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
Bills at Steelers bills at Steelers, he is six up.
Speaker 4 (34:07):
Romo and Wolfson doing double duty Thursday.
Speaker 3 (34:10):
Answer, I need one more then, right?
Speaker 2 (34:11):
You said there in Dallas and Pittsy you just seed
one more. Bills at Steelers.
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Bills were just five and a half point favorites on
the road in Houston, who I think is better than
the Steelers. But then they lost Bill's minus three and
a half.
Speaker 7 (34:31):
Let's go okay, roll, come on, let's go finally Raiders
more than Chargers today.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
I saw that that's not good for for my guy
Vidalsa Soon. Where is that? By the way, Vdalsa Soon?
I don't even think it's still around.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
That was like that was a prominent advertising product and
product in our youth.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
There were some all right there were some good commercial watching.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Oh for sure, holdout a second. Have you guys seen
the commercials for Gravity? No, so every morning, young Luca
gets up and we pop on Good Morning Football at
eight o'clock and they feature ads for Gravity, which is
a cologne that are absurd, Like, miss Kay watch one
(35:28):
today and was like, what is going on? Is hilarious? Well, oh,
don't forget hold I have my idea. Yeah, we have
offseason idea we talk about. All right, we've got gravity.
I had something else for you'll remember, all right, Raiders
at Chargers yep, I mean they're they're eleven the number
ten right now they are. This feels like Chargers minus
(35:50):
ten and a half, Chargers minus nine and a half.
You're right there though, right there? All right? You look,
you're seven up, seven down. You've already won on the week.
Let's see we get we only have six?
Speaker 2 (36:01):
No, he's got seven and seven down?
Speaker 4 (36:03):
Wait, which one did I get?
Speaker 3 (36:04):
Two to go?
Speaker 2 (36:05):
There's sixteen games? He's got seven right?
Speaker 3 (36:06):
Seven? Wrong?
Speaker 4 (36:07):
I only have six right now?
Speaker 3 (36:09):
Seven? Give trust me? Trust me two to go? Hold,
I had it earlier. I did have I was one
behind you, So maybe I got something right that I didn't.
It wasn't aware I got I have you down for six, yeah,
and you have him down for eight. What is does
young Gabriel have Gabriel's keeping track?
Speaker 4 (36:25):
I have I have eight misses. I have him at six.
Speaker 3 (36:29):
Somebody whose whole purpose in life is.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
Oh my god, we have a scoring discrepancy.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
It is beyond one because I'll be because I was
where he is? Really did I give you one? Just
out of the goodness of my heart? I'll take it.
Come on, I got two games to get. Let's render
right here. Let's render it mooton right now? Denver at comis.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
By the way, Thank god, I don't have to wait
all day after a full weekend of football. Thanks for
giving us a couple of really bad ones to rest
things up, so I don't. I can just go to bed.
Speaker 3 (37:00):
By Sunday night. I'm not I'm not going to watch this.
Speaker 4 (37:02):
I'm good, correct exactly. I actually am happy about this.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
Yeahron seven, never mind is six and a half. It
all comes down so.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
And by my metric, you've already won. But apparently maybe
I'm miscalculated, which is implay three against one?
Speaker 3 (37:16):
Who might ar you?
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Giants at Pats Monday night, Football Bucket consulters rutlans so.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
G Man had a great question, like, you knew at
the beginning of the year that these two teams probably
weren't going to be good. Now the Patriots have clearly
exceeded expectations. What was the thought in week thirteen to
putting them in prime time?
Speaker 3 (37:37):
So don't you think what's go Giants?
Speaker 5 (37:39):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (37:39):
Well I was Giants and Pats.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
So I think you have the first five weeks of
the season.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
Don't you think also give a like we have? Like
there's not much flexing anymore.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
I think that the restrictions on that have made it
have made it very difficult to do it, and there's
too many primetime games to go around. You're talking about
a week where you had Week.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Three on Thursday that are all big. You had Friday
Friday as well, like the Monday night game, and this
one is really kind of like game and they want
to have a good four o'clock window game. So yeah,
I think now, could they have put Viking Seahawks there? Yeah,
but I've been Fox wants that game. I'm sure they do.
That's is that the game of the week has the
(38:16):
double which is Bill Steelers.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
Yeah, yeah, Viking Seahawks, but I mean, like, I don't know, there's.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Not a whole lot compelled. Texans Colts is the best
one o'clock game, Yeah, other than Browns Night. So this
is what all comes down to.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
This.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
By the way, we even talked about not only did
Jamis catch a touchdown, he made an in flight ball adjustment,
comes back to the ball back shoulders it, and then
makes a move in the open field that makes a
legitimate defender miss Like he's a real wide receiver. He
should be.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
He's so exactly what he is, which is and he's
embracing it. It should almost be like you could see
being like a Netflix series like Jamis does.
Speaker 3 (39:03):
He should be one of the quarterbacks on Netflix.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Yeah, and then like next year, like wherever, he can
look around the league and he can.
Speaker 3 (39:09):
Pick the place where the quarterback situation is not.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Great and he knows he can go in as the
backup and be team guy and then eventually you know
he's gonna get to play.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Like that should be what he does. Ciciliona told me
his pregame speech was like we're inside, but we're outside. Yeah,
but they were inside, but they were outside.
Speaker 2 (39:27):
So great, who knows he's the most fun, the most
fun you can have.
Speaker 3 (39:31):
This is a roundabout way of saying this one I
feel like is ten. But I'm not gonna go on
the ten because it's been a lot of halves recently
and that's gotten me off. So I'm gonna take shoot
my shot. I think the Giants are a little friskier
than ten and a half.
Speaker 2 (39:47):
Nine and a half, seven and a half. Now we're
gonna have to go back and check the numbers.
Speaker 4 (39:56):
It's fine, we can do that.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
I think join us next, because I think you got
you had three. You got three out of the first four. Yep,
I was four out of guy Brown. You got forty
nine ers.
Speaker 2 (40:06):
That's four four?
Speaker 3 (40:08):
You got that one right? You got falcons?
Speaker 4 (40:12):
Right? No?
Speaker 2 (40:14):
No, no, you be sure he didn't say two and
a half on that?
Speaker 5 (40:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:17):
Three?
Speaker 3 (40:18):
Is that where the discrepancy was? I'm proud I got
six on the number.
Speaker 4 (40:22):
This is not We're in it to the end, buddy,
Keep your head up, little gipper.
Speaker 3 (40:29):
Why is the Patriots not ten?
Speaker 4 (40:31):
Some of these Why is the Patriots not a million?
Speaker 2 (40:35):
Because back door, well they were and they're without their
their left tackle at least for this week. That's a

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Speaker 3 (42:19):
Of course it's coming up here shortly.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
I had the conversation with my wife already we've got
the bacon and sausages ready for Thanksgiving morning, my friend,
so we thank you for that as well. A special
time also a time for folks in need, and there's
an opportunity there as well, my friend.
Speaker 8 (42:34):
Yes, absolutely, boen Nace and great to talk to you all.
Thank you for having me today.
Speaker 6 (42:39):
You know, each year, you know, we've.
Speaker 8 (42:40):
Been doing this for the last few years. It's kind
of becoming tradition, you know, doing Thanksgiving at the food
bank with the Browns and this is a huge especially
this year with everything going on with the economy and
certain benefits. You know, people are really looking to make
sure that their pantries are stocked for the Thanksgiving holiday.
(43:02):
And today we were at the food bank with lots
of folks from the Browns organization, lots of players showed
up and in our several years of doing this, most
energy that I've seen from everybody.
Speaker 6 (43:13):
Also a lot of folks giving back.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
So really great day, it says today Sugardelle, you're donating
over seven pounds from Hams to Bacons to that food bank.
And why you mentioned that. Obviously it's important to you guys,
but not every company goes and takes that extra step
of actually turning, you know, something that's important to action
and knowing how important it is to get access to
protein to a lot of communities. And you guys are
(43:37):
giving a lot of jesup which I call the Grahams
of protein to the people, which is a beautiful thing.
Speaker 6 (43:43):
Yeah, we're very proud to do it.
Speaker 8 (43:45):
And you know, as a Northeast Ohio company, you know,
food and security is a very big challenge in our community, and.
Speaker 6 (43:53):
You know, we all love our food.
Speaker 8 (43:54):
We all love our football, and we want to make
sure that everybody has the opportunity to have a full
belly this Thanksgiving.
Speaker 6 (44:01):
So we're proud to help out.
Speaker 3 (44:03):
What kind of as you've been there, you mentioned that
the energy there? What was that kind of vibe take
us there? We're bummed with a change in normally we
would be there so we don't get to be there.
What kind of was the scene there? And obviously you know,
coming off of a wind certainly helps, I think for
the Browns, but just kind of set the scene for
us if you would.
Speaker 8 (44:21):
Coming off a win certainly helps, and you know for
me obviously a lot of great folks from the Browns organization.
But you know, then after practice ended today had a
terrific turnout from lots of players. You know, Ethan Postik
and his wife are always there every year, but you know,
the rookie class this year just brought a ton of energy.
Speaker 6 (44:41):
And so you know when you see you know Quinn.
Speaker 8 (44:43):
Shawn Judkins is stocking shells and Dylan Gabriel's putting potatoes
in people's bags and shad Or Sanders is handing out hams.
I'll tell you what a lot of smiles are in
that food bank today, both from the volunteers as well
as from the folks that are benefiting for that, and
so just I mean, certainly for me right as a
(45:03):
Browns fan, it was a thrill to be there and
just a really great calls all round.
Speaker 3 (45:09):
So we've been talking obviously a lot about Thanksgiving and
the different options, and a lot of our players that
I've talked to, they traditionally they have a Thanksgiving ham.
So what is kind of in your mind, what is
the best way to prepare a sugardale ham at Thanksgiving?
Speaker 8 (45:24):
Tell you what it's on trend. A lot of people
are smoking them now and even though you know it's
already a smoked piece of meat, you know, a lot
of people have triggers. A lot of people have you know,
Big Green Egg. You know, they season it up and
they'll create a double smoked ham, which you know gives
you a tremendous amount of flavor falls off the bone.
(45:45):
And I'm hearing a lot of people out there doing that.
And in fact, you know, at the food bank today,
you know, after folks go through all the aisles, you know,
we give them the option to pick turkey or a
Ham as the centerpiece of their plate. And I think
we were going eighty twenty in favor of Ham. A
lot of people taking hand over turkey. So I'm telling
(46:06):
you that's uh, you guys probably started it.
Speaker 3 (46:09):
I mean we started to trying.
Speaker 6 (46:11):
Oh you know, I credit the program. So congratulation, thank.
Speaker 3 (46:15):
You here well infecting lines in Las Vegas and now.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
That's right, we're helping people out. I mean, we're helping
people out. It's a better meat. I mean, it's just
that simple. And if you are going to rob, I'll
bacon wrap that turkey bird, buddy. I'm not afraid to
do that. I'll sugarhaie bacon right on that sucker.
Speaker 6 (46:31):
Please do please put some pepperoni on top. You know
why you're at it.
Speaker 9 (46:34):
You know, we have to hit every product category and
you know, let's let's create a you know, a terrific
uh you know, meet conglomeration there, whatever whatever you call it.
Speaker 6 (46:44):
So thank you guys, appreciate that.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Well, we thank you, man. It is so great to
be associated with you guys. And this day is always
very special and we have a little fun along the way.
But the uh, the good that has done today is
one that you really feel when you're down there, and
I know you were down there, so we we think
you greatly for that. And I know it affects you too.
Just being able to give back in this way.
Speaker 6 (47:05):
Oh, it's tremendous. So thank you guys for having me.
Speaker 8 (47:07):
Thanks for you know, bringing attention to the program and
everything that's going on. And it's really a terrific team effort.
And you guys are a part of it. The organizations
are part of it, The teams are part of it,
the players are a part of it. Our employees are
a part of it. So we appreciate it. And I
want to say happy Thanksgiving to you all and go Browns.
Speaker 3 (47:25):
Absolutely thanks having me. Gave me brown Buddy. Talk to
you again soon. Yes, thank you, Rob.
Speaker 6 (47:30):
Thanks guys, take care all.
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Right there he goes Rob Hit, vice president of marketing
for Sugardale joining the program eighty twenty ham Turkey split.
Speaker 3 (47:39):
I'm telling you we started moving it. It's all happening.

Speaker 4 (48:40):
Wonderful weather week. By the way, for all of this,
this is the worse for people traveling is the worst.
Speaker 3 (48:47):
This is no good.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
This is the worst. I mean, it's gonna be so tomorrow.
Right is at the idea, So they're.
Speaker 4 (48:52):
Saying, I can't remember the name of it, but like
where Lake Erie goes out, it's then comes back in
the form of basically snow and twenty foot waves. They're saying,
the lake's gonna drop by like six feet.
Speaker 2 (49:06):
Oh really, all right, let me get the I mean
that seems like that would then the the other end of.
Speaker 3 (49:12):
That would seem to be a negative, right, I would
think that it's bad.
Speaker 2 (49:16):
Yeah, so tomorrow is just like today, fifty five and gross,
and then Thursday high of thirty six and snow.
Speaker 4 (49:26):
Yeah, and nighttime is where it gets a little.
Speaker 3 (49:28):
And then it gets realed.
Speaker 2 (49:29):
I see your Black Friday high of thirty four at
ninety six percent chance of snow, and then your Sunday
high of thirty three sixty one percent chance of snow,
and then Sunday here high of forty fifty six percent.
That'll be your favorite wintery mix on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (49:49):
You have that book four too, that sounds like a
pregame show inside you, which I think that's got it exactly.
Speaker 4 (49:54):
I just was, where's the that's gonna go inside?
Speaker 3 (49:58):
What am I looking at for an arbor Saturday? Oh
my god?
Speaker 4 (50:02):
Thirty one? Yeahew.
Speaker 2 (50:06):
I've ended some cold games up there colder than that,
but uh, sixty five percent chance of precipitation.
Speaker 4 (50:16):
You got to run the ball.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
Well, that's the thing Ryan sometimes overdes Yes, Yeah.
Speaker 4 (50:23):
I haven't heard a presser this week. Are we nervous it?
Because it started looking like it was trending that way
last week.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
With Who's that the coach day and who's not.
Speaker 2 (50:31):
No, I think he's you know, it's funny, like everyone's psychoanalyzes,
like everything that those guys say and do, nobody psychoanalyzed
Urban and Urban went seven zero in that game. But
also like he's a ball spot going the other way
from losing the game in twenty sixteen, he's a tyves
Pal jumping in front of a two point conversion from
(50:52):
losing the game in two thousand and thirteen. Up there,
Like it's sometimes it's a yard here or a yard there.
It's the difference, yep, you know, like it's just a
I don't know that there's a way. Like John Cooper
tried everything. He tried acting like it was the biggest
game in the world. He tried acting like it wasn't anything,
and he won twice in thirteen attempts.
Speaker 3 (51:11):
So like, who knows, Man.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
If you have the best you know, no, and they
have the best players, like usually that wins out in
college football.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
So we'll see.
Speaker 4 (51:23):
I can't wait. I'm just happy that we're home.
Speaker 2 (51:26):
Yeah, you guys have had to travel for that the
last three years. Yeah, you've been in the air.
Speaker 3 (51:30):
Yeah. Yeah, it's it's a fun one. To watch. Yeah,
have the have your full attention.
Speaker 4 (51:36):
A lot of chick fringe. Do we psycho analyze everything,
and I'm proudly part of it.
Speaker 3 (51:41):
Take fringe.
Speaker 2 (51:43):
Yeah, I think what he say today, it's fun to
kick ass in the game is I think what Ryan said.
Speaker 3 (51:47):
So that's where he's at.
Speaker 4 (51:50):
One thought from every game in Week number twelve of
the NFL season, and we start off with the Ravens
taking down the Jets twenty three to ten. The Ravens
now in first place in the AFC North. They've won
five in a row. Bo Bishop. One thought from you
to kick things off.
Speaker 2 (52:08):
I believe we had this. They are going to win
the division. We had it when they were one and five.
They are now six and five in atop the division.
But they're not whole. I don't know what is all
going on there. It doesn't look right with Lamar and
the offense. They really offensively, they were really good before
he got hurt. Yes, even in losses they scored a
lot of points. Who were pretty dynamic. They haven't been
(52:30):
since he got back. So maybe they get there, but
they're not there yet.
Speaker 3 (52:33):
And so the Bengals should be a panacea for their ailments.
I would think.
Speaker 5 (52:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
I mean, if they can't really move it up and
down the field against Cincinnati, then we have big problems.
But it has not looked right for them since he
came back.
Speaker 3 (52:45):
So girl No. One hundred and fifty three yards. We
we went through yesterday the running that he is not
doing at all. Draymond Jones was a real nice pickup
for them. Draymond Jones obviously now he says that he
timed it perfectly when he was off sides on the
final play in our game against the Ravens, but he
had one and a half sacks in this one. He's
(53:06):
a nice pickup for what they're doing there. The Ravens
are still quite formidable. They will be a tough Nobody
wants a piece of them. They will be a tough out.
Also got to give a shout out to former Cleveland
Brown Juwan Briggs, who now has a career high three
sacks and as a starter with this Jets team.
Speaker 4 (53:23):
Made a few plays in the game up against US. Yeah,
onward do we go. The Chicago Bears just as hot
as the Baltimore Ravens. They've won four in a row.
The Bears in first in the NFC North at eight
and three. They take down Pittspuke thirty one to twenty
eight and Mason Rudolph Nathan zegera one.
Speaker 3 (53:43):
Call the Bears four game winning Street. They win forty
seven forty two on an improbable walk off touchdown against
the Bengals. They win twenty four to twenty with a
late drive against the Giants. They beat the Vikings nineteen
to seventeen on a last second field goal. They beat
the Steelers thirty one to twenty eight. They're a team
that believes no man or what's going on, they're gonna
find a way to win. By the way, before that,
they beat the Raiders twenty five twenty four. They beat
(54:05):
the Commanders twenty five to twenty four. They don't have
a lot of big, convincing wins on their docket. In fact,
the only one is really the Saints they beat twenty
six to fourteen. They beat Dallas thirty one fourteen earlier
in the year. That's it. But they've got a lot
of belief. Now we're gonna find out a lot about
this team. And they go at Philly at Green Bay
(54:29):
US home green Bay at the Niners home Detroit. We
are a trap game. For them for sure, because they're
gonna be we're sandwich in between two Green Bay Packers games. Yep,
but they are. Their final five of their last six
are tough. They probably got to go. I think to
make sure that they're in they probably have to win.
(54:51):
Go two and four at worst. Three and three probably
is a is a lock. Three and three gets them
du eleven and six.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Caleb Williams only has four games on this season where
he's completing more than sixty percent of his passes.
Speaker 3 (55:05):
Yes, but.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
You can see that Johnson has I mean they're running
the full complement of the offense. Yeah, and he's he's
spinning it around, he's over, he's over thirty pass attempts
last five times out. They're four and one in those games.
So while the completion percentage isn't there, he's not making
terrible mistakes. Sixteen touchdowns, four picks, four picks, that's it.
(55:29):
So he's playing well. They strike me as a team
that they're either gonna win that division.
Speaker 3 (55:35):
Or they're definitely gonna make the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (55:36):
They had eight wins already, so they're gonna be like
twelve and five and we're gonna go. How are they
twelve and five, and to me, they feel like a
quick exit in the playoffs, but it's still a successful
season for them by a wide, wide margin.
Speaker 3 (55:48):
Yeah. I mean in the last four games in that
winning streak, he's produced eight total touchdowns, zero picks. Last
year he was sacked sixty eight times. He's been sacked
seventeen times in eleven games. So clearly what Ben Johnson
has worked with him on has been very successful. His
yards per attempt is up, even those completion percentages down.
(56:08):
His air yards per attempts up, his yards per completion's up,
his yards per game is up. So yeah, he's playing
well and they just have a lot of belief. They
have a belief that they're going to find a way
to come through and win, and that's what they've been doing.
Speaker 4 (56:19):
Up Next, to round out the AFC North Games, New
England the hottest team in the National Football League, winners
of nine in a row now now ten and two,
they take down the Bengals. The Bengals since acquiring Joe
Burrow have won once. Patriots twenty six, Bengals twenty bow.
Bishop one thought.
Speaker 2 (56:37):
The Will Campbell injury in New England is a massive one.
He's been very very good for them. Verbel gave an
update yesterday saying that it might not be season ending,
that it's some sort of a sprained mcl is what
the report is on that, But nevertheless, he's going to
miss some games.
Speaker 3 (56:52):
It's a massive blow for them.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
They really don't have any weapons for Drake may So,
like it was Hunter Henry who they went to a
lot last game. So now this injury at left tackles
really big. So they are are They've been a really
fun story. But I don't know if they're ceiling they're
ceiling changes based exactly They're ceiling changes based on Campbell's
health just because their margin for air was so slim.
Speaker 3 (57:11):
Anyway, Yeah, may is may is legit. Flacco I think
got banged up a couple of weeks ago, has not
been the same. No, they missed Jamar Chase in this game.
Yoshabash was solid leading receiver, but Higgins surprising and that
he's already ruled out. But that hit heat that was
that did not look good. No, are they saying is
it going to be one week or longer? Nobody knows.
Speaker 4 (57:33):
Nobody knows. Zach Taylor just announced on Monday and his
presser like they're both out. Predrickson and Higgins are both out.
Speaker 2 (57:39):
I don't think Henderson's gonna play again for them.
Speaker 4 (57:41):
I agree.
Speaker 3 (57:42):
I think he's done.
Speaker 2 (57:43):
So he's just saying, YEA, yeah, I don't want to
got you could have given me a long term deal.
Now I'm a free agent. I'm not risking anything. I mean,
he's not saying that, but that's the read from people
down there.
Speaker 3 (57:53):
And I don't blame him. Like they could have. They
could have got this done.
Speaker 4 (57:56):
You could have traded him at the deadline for sure.
Speaker 2 (57:58):
Yeah, they weren't going anywhere anyway, and now they nothing
for him compensatory.
Speaker 4 (58:02):
I guess so'll good up next Detroit City, after a
tough loss the week before, climbs back into the winners circle.
There are seven and four, but it took a lot
to beat the frisky New York Football Giants in overtime
thirty four to twenty seven.
Speaker 5 (58:17):
Is a girl.
Speaker 3 (58:17):
One thought this was, unfortunately an unbelievable game by Jamis
that would have been and should have been the talk
of the league. His reception, I say, go back and
watch it again. Thirty three yards, he adjust to an
(58:38):
underthrown ball, comes back and then beats a defender. This
is old quarterback. This isn't like a trick play where
the quarterback's wide open and they just throw too many
runs in. No, he makes an unbelievable play. I will
say this, Jamiir Gibbs has been the way that they've
unleashed him. It really had been the prior years, him
and Montgomery kind of in a share. It's now the
Jamiir Gibbs show. He has a great game. I'm on rock,
(59:00):
delivers every single week as well. Nine for one, forty
nine and a touchdown. There's a big comeback for the Lions.
This was a game where all of a sudden there'd
be a lot of questions about this football team. They
would have been at six and five, two back, big
win Giants. He would have liked to see him hold
on there. But they they blow a lot of games
and their defensive cordior got blown out after this one
(59:21):
he did.
Speaker 2 (59:22):
I think the Lions there's some red flags with them, definitely,
because the Giants led this whole game and decisively deciphatively
at sometimes and still lost. I think it's like amazing
what Jamis does. He's fifty percent for three sixty six
yep eighteen to thirty six one. Dale Robinson had won.
Dale Robinson had nine for one fifty six for Jamis,
(59:43):
he will throw it to you, He will throw it
to people and it's fun along the way. I do
think the Giants are an interesting team. Jamier Gibbs. I
want to say that Beamsy played him in Fantasy somehow
still won and he had sixty seven.
Speaker 3 (59:57):
Point eight depending on your leagues, he had over fifty.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
Because he's it's a PPR, and I think he had
like sixty seven point eight points or something like that.
Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
He lost no.
Speaker 2 (01:00:06):
Beams, he won. He seems still won despite it. But
he was playing him and he's like, Dad, look at this.
Have you ever seen anything like this?
Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
He would have twenty one point nine plus two touchdowns,
so thirty three point nine. Then he would have had
to add on another eleven, so now we're at forty
four point nine, add on another forty five, so we're
at forty nine point four, and then add a touchdown
fifty five point four. Fifty five point four, Yeah, FID
(01:00:32):
five point four. That's great. Could you imagine the crazy
if that was like a Monday night game and you're like, oh,
I'm up fifty eight, I'm up fifty like it's fine,
And then you just watch it unfold and you're like,
how could this happen?
Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
Yeah? Uh, to Green Bay and Minnesota we go. The
Packers handle the Vikings twenty three to six, take care
of business. Minnesota in trouble at four and seven.
Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
Bo Bishop, they.
Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
They need to do and this injury might just make
it happen. But I think they should do to JJ
McCarthy what they did for Bryce Young and just shut
him down, let him watch for a little bit, let
the boy watch.
Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
It's a mess. It's a real mess.
Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
And they had Daniel Jones and Donald in the building
and O'Connell's such a nurturing dude, like if anyone can
get it right, it's probably him. But this is bad
quarterback play and they could have traded him this offseason
for more than what they would have got for Donald.
Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
I'm sure around the league a.
Speaker 2 (01:01:33):
Lot of people liked him, so this has been a
disaster though he really struggled.
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Justin Jefferson with JJ McCarthy, this is crazy, Like Justin
Jefferson is really good. Justin Jefferson with JJ McCarthy, week
won four for forty four. Then he comes back against
Detroit six for forty seven, four for thirty seven, five
for sixty one, four for forty eight, one touchdown with Wentz.
(01:02:01):
It was eighty one seventy five, one seventy nine seventy four.
Wentz only had one arm at that point.
Speaker 4 (01:02:08):
I know he beat us.
Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
It's yeah, this is this is terrifying. It's terrifying, and
that whole nine thing. I feel bad for the kid,
the kids. All he's done is win everywhere he's gone.
Won a state championship in high school one. Obviously at Michigan,
won the championship. But it does not look good. And
Kevin O'Connell is a darn good coach. It does not
look good. And here's the thing. If they go out
(01:02:32):
there and Max Brosmer.
Speaker 2 (01:02:34):
Which is what seems like we're trending towards.
Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
Yeah, maybe that's why that line, that line wasn't even
high enough. I mean, the Packers should win that game
by thirty. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
Onward, do we go in the early window over time
required the Kansas City Chiefs win, they go to six
and five, there's still tenth in the AFC playoff seatings
and looking in Chiefs take down the Colts twenty three
to twenty in a game they had to have Nathan
ze Girl won.
Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
They're down twenty to nine in the fourth quarter season
on the brink, yep, and they rally and they get
it going. You get over one hundred yards on thirty
carries from Kareem Hunt. You had one hundred and forty
one from Rashid Rice Mahomes throws for three point fifty two. Defensively,
they make some stops when they needed to down the stretch.
(01:03:28):
By the way, they didn't sack Danny Dimes once in
this game, not once. They limited Jonathan Taylor though sixteen
carries fifty eight yards, and he had twenty seven them
on one carry, so his other fifteen carries went for
thirty one yards. Just it's kind of a it's a
nobody wanted them. I bet nobody in the AFC wanted
them to come back and win this game. And you
(01:03:48):
just wonder, is this kind of a launching pad for them.
Nobody wants to face them. They still are the Chiefs,
they still have that aura, but this was one of
those where they just clutched up at the end. They
possessed the football, went all the way down the field
for that final field goal in overtime, and it was
they impressive. They had to have it. But listen, next
three are Dallas Houston and the Chargers. They got to
(01:04:11):
go two out of three there.
Speaker 4 (01:04:13):
They got to win the AFC games because they're one
in two in the division and three and four in
the conference.
Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Standpoint got to be the Chargers like they had at
the end of regulation, they had the ball inside the
ten first in goal and couldn't score, had to settle
for a field goal, like it's not right, it's not
right now. They didn't have it in the brochure that
Kareem Hunt was going to carry it thirty times this
season and held it into that last year. Now a
(01:04:40):
whole year removed, He's carrying it thirty times for undred
and forty yards.
Speaker 3 (01:04:43):
It's nuts.
Speaker 2 (01:04:45):
They are not what they used to be. But if
they get in everyone's no one's going to want to
play him. So it was one they had to have.
And I thought they were cooked because watching it, it
was a very flat performance out of them.
Speaker 3 (01:04:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:04:59):
Rounding out the one o'clock window, the Tennessee Titans march
toward consecutive number one Picks continues. They lose to Seattle
thirty to twenty four.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
Bow Bishop One thought it's this game, wasn't this close? No, No,
it's a late score at the end that makes it
seem closer than it is.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
I mean Seattle was in.
Speaker 2 (01:05:16):
Complete control, just kind of hit cruise control. I think
Seattle's my second. I think they're the second best team
in the league behind the Rams right now, and.
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
I think they're right there. I think they're right there. Yeah,
they lost by two that to the Rams in a
game in which they had four four interceptions. Sam darn
We already talked earlier in the show about you know
how good Jackson Smith and Jigba has been. Cam Ward
I think is showing a little something. I think that
when they surround him with a supporting cast, and you
(01:05:44):
know they If I were the Titans, I would be
focused on getting him weapons this offseason. I think he's
going to be okay.
Speaker 2 (01:05:50):
He makes a couple of throws every game they.
Speaker 3 (01:05:52):
Go, wow, yeah, we can work with that. Yeah, I
see it. I see that, and he's running it a
little bit more.
Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
Yeah, he's gonna have That's such a bad spot, though,
Like everything's got to be weapons for them, like I've yeah,
somebody fall in love with the quarterback trade out of one,
get multiple ones, receiver, receiver, receiver.
Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
I mean that's kind of where they gotta be. Yep.
Speaker 4 (01:06:14):
It's amazing in the NFC West, Yeah, I mean you
have three teams that are just stacked. Even the forty
nine ers, as injury riddled as they are, are eight
and four. The Rams are four and one on the road,
Seahawks five and one on the road, and San France
five and two on the road. Yeah, I mean that's
they're basically all playing five hundred ball. I mean, the
(01:06:35):
Rams are five to one at home, but the other
two are basically five hundred at home, yep, and just
crushing it on the road. Late window, Jacksonville continues to
win seven and four. Now they take down Arizona in
overtime twenty seven to twenty four. Zigarrol One thought.
Speaker 3 (01:06:55):
It's annoying the Jags keep winning, but they do. It's
not necessarily always pretty. Arizona did a good job rallying,
getting down the field, forcing this one into overtime, and
they just could not close the deal. Jags are I mean,
Trevor learns through three picks in this game three touchdowns,
but also through three picks in this game for set
(01:07:15):
another three hundred yard game. It's just wild what he's doing.
And then one of the things I think is just
a crazy story. Michael Wilson has been in the league
and has been pretty consistent, like around five hundred yards
receiving a season, the last couple of weeks fifteen for
one eighty five, ten for one eighteen. He's had nothing
(01:07:37):
like this in his career, and he's all of a
sudden blossoming. And that's with Marvin Harrison. Now he's six
to two. Was at Stanford, but he has become I mean,
those are the two best games of his career period,
full stop. He'd never been over one hundred yards before
they go fifteen eighty five and then ten to one eighteen.
I mean, those are better numbers than Harrison has put up.
Speaker 2 (01:07:57):
Yeah, to throw something at you. This is not my
original thought. I heard it from somebody else. When I
initially thought, I thought that's nuts, but then I then
they made their case, and I wanted to cure. I'm
curious what your thoughts are. Trevor Lawrence is jamis.
Speaker 3 (01:08:15):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Both number one picks. Both won national titles in college.
Jameisan Trevor didn't. But James, but Trevor could have at
some point. This touchdown interceptions are pretty similar. Jamis is
a little bit more.
Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
Jameis is probably a little bit better of just a
pure thrower of the football.
Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
But Trevor turns it over to Trevor's got one playoff win.
Jamis doesn't have a playoff appearance.
Speaker 3 (01:08:41):
And I'm guessing I could be wrong, but I'm guessing
Trevor's a little bit better of a runner for his career.
Could be, could be it's in play. Good lord, look
at this swacket. Geez, look at it again. It's unbelievable.
But it's it's a victory there. It's it's it's it's
it's raining, Yeah, it's raining.
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
What about the swaye? Don't worry, I got six more
at home.
Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
Don't worry. I'll be He probably has those things. He
probably has those shoe covers. Just slip them on the rubbers, Yeah,
the rubbers away, he goes. My grandpa always had those, yeah, exactly,
I always had those. Yeah, but give it was Simmons.
Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
It was Simmons hit it, and I thought that's that's
not bad because initially I was like, no, come on,
but like, statistically it's pretty close, Like it's not far off.
Speaker 3 (01:09:30):
Trevor Lawrence is jamis Yeah. Some breaking news from the
play by play voice of Your Clean Rounds Anders Stilliano.
The Browns just lost their Munford off the practice squad.
Newland Patriots have signed it.
Speaker 4 (01:09:43):
Didn't we take him off of their practice squad.
Speaker 3 (01:09:45):
Maybe he's just bouncing back and forward pretty sure.
Speaker 4 (01:09:49):
Meanwhile, Buffalo adding a wide receiver. Finally they signed Brandon Cooks.
Speaker 3 (01:09:56):
And thinks unfortunately has he played for man?
Speaker 4 (01:09:59):
All of them have no idea. So many twenty of
jersey space in the basement, actually not a whole lot left.
Speaker 3 (01:10:04):
But always played well too. For the longest time.
Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
No matter where he went, he would pop into a
place and at twelve hundred yards receiving.
Speaker 3 (01:10:11):
He had a stretch where he had I want to
say he had one thousand yards receiving in three consecutive
seasons at one point on three different teams. And see
if I had that right, that's what felt right to me,
and we did twenty sixteen, eleven, seventy three and eight
in New Orleans twenty seventeen ten, eighty two and seven
in New England and then twenty eighteen twelve oh four
(01:10:32):
and five with the Rams. He would also have a
thousand yard season later on, back to back with Houston
in twenty twenty and twenty twenty one. How about that
here you go. Uh, he seems a little cooked though
he averaged There is a guy that was in sixteen yards. Yeah,
he averaged an eight point seven yards a catch on
a team that certainly could have used a receiver.
Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
Cowboys twenty four, Eagles twenty one, oh bishop one thought
from you.
Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
It's happy for Jira. He gets a he gets a
game on Thursday at his barn. That's going to be
the most wise and I think that matters more than
wins and losses to him at this point. Like it's
got a chance. The Eagle the Chiefs game this past
week against the Colts, I think did twenty four point
two million in the one o'clock window, yep, which is
a massive number at one o'clock when you have all
(01:11:19):
that football on and did like twenty two to twenty
four million, it's got a chance to be the most
watched regular season NFL game ever. I mean that's in
play for Thursday. So I'm happy for Jerra because I
liked him on land Man and I like him in
the dock.
Speaker 3 (01:11:36):
How do the Eagles blow a twenty one point lead?
Speaker 4 (01:11:39):
They're a mess?
Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
How do they blow a twenty one point lead? Yeah,
that's wild to me. Point two. George Pickens, if it
weren't for Jackson Smith and Jiggo, would probably be one
of the biggest talking points in the league. He's already
got one thy fifty four eight touchdowns. Everdon sixteen yards
of cash.
Speaker 2 (01:11:53):
They have two guys who are uncoverable one on one. Yes,
So the big thing with Pickens is can you keep
him on the straight and narrow? Obviously Pittsburgh couldn't, so
they punted. But like, let me just think of how
bad it must have been in Pittsburgh to punt on him,
because it's not like they didn't know the talent, right,
The talent's the talent.
Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
Yep, you know.
Speaker 10 (01:12:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
Saquon Barkley last year averaged one hundred and twenty five
point three yards per game. This year and five point
eight yards of carry this year three point seven and
sixty two point two yards game. He is His production
has been halved. It's it's not right. They're not good offensively.
Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Quickly factor fiction Dallas Kansas City is an elimination game Thursday.
Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
It is for Dallas.
Speaker 2 (01:12:40):
I don't think it is quite yet for Kansas City,
but it definitely is close.
Speaker 3 (01:12:44):
And because it is also you know, it's an NFC game,
so that's good for Kansas City. But yeah, Dallas goes
to five, six and one. I don't know, there's no pass,
no pack at that point on the NFC.
Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
Yeah, next up, quickly, Falcons twenty four Saints Ten's a girl.
Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
One thought our cousins back. They're winning it. Good for Kirk,
happy for him. A little bit surprised honestly by the
performance by the Saints here. Maybe I was.
Speaker 2 (01:13:10):
We didn't fold myself in a thinking that he didn't
do a good job because all of the public was
on New Orleans. Yeah, and we should have looked at it.
We should have known that we didn't do a good
job of that. We should have had a job out
of us.
Speaker 3 (01:13:20):
Yeah, Chris Olave is going to have one of the
more productive seasons where he's got multiple games where he
doesn't even average ten yards of catch, which is a
weird weird thing. This one is nine catches for seventy yards.
He's had eight for sixty three, seven for fifty nine,
three for twenty, ten for fifty seven, six for fifty four,
(01:13:41):
and seven for fifty four. So he's had one, two, three,
running five six. He's had seven games where he's averaged
below ten yards of catch.
Speaker 4 (01:13:49):
Yeah, thirty seconds here Rams thirty four, Tampa Bay seven.
Tampa Bay's lost three in a row.
Speaker 3 (01:13:57):
Bob issue. This could have been sixty four to seven.
Speaker 4 (01:14:00):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (01:14:00):
The Rams basically punted the whole second half away. It's
been a before the injury. This was a brutal half
for Bake, Yes, even before the injury. And he's been
struggling for about a month now. And they are getting
I mean, but a book is back, like they're getting
some guys. They're in a world of hurt, man, they
are in a world of hurt in Tampa. That division
(01:14:21):
is a mess, Like five hundred might win it in
the NFC South.
Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
They're a team that could easily be two to nine. Yeah,
it's not far. Last second against the Falcons, last second
against the Texans, last second against the Jets, last second
against Seattle, those are four of their first those are
their first four wins. Yeah, those half of them go
the other way. This is a team with a loser record.
They've got a lot of issues and Bake has unfortunately
(01:14:46):
gone from being and it's statistical is before his injury,
but the first six games of the year, I think
he was the best quarterback in the league. And the
next five he's been the worst. Yes, which is quite
a roller coade. Yeah, it is.
Speaker 4 (01:15:03):
I believe our guest is already on hold. So if
you want to do a reading, go to the Master
of Ceremonies.
Speaker 3 (01:15:08):
Let's do it.
Speaker 4 (01:15:09):
Let's do it this season.
Speaker 2 (01:15:10):
Check the Browns social channels daily to play our digital
scratch off game for your chance to win club seats
another great prizes presented by Ohio Lottery, proud partner of
your Cleveland Browns. In addition to that, Elkin Elks Here's
Lawyers for Serious Injuries called one hundred Olk Ohio for
a free case for you. Elkin Elks, proud partner of
your Cleveland Browns. And with that we had out on
the Twisted T Hard Iced Tea hotline. Twisted T Hard
(01:15:31):
Iced Tea official sponsor of your Cleveland Browns. Keep it
twisted Cleveland. It is a great friend of the program.
Defensive tackle Shelby Harris joins us on the hotline. Buddy,
how many games have you been a part of in
your career where your team had ten sacks?
Speaker 5 (01:15:46):
I think that might have been the first one. I
mean that that was an all out on slot right there,
and that it was a lot of fun to be
part of.
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
Shelby, I want to commend you on pulling what I
thought was one of the great veteran moves in that
game where you see Geno Smith on the ground and
the race is on, you get there hand up. How
much appreciation did you get for forget that second by
the way, I thought you had it all to yourself.
They end up giving I guess half to Drone Baker.
But how much respect and love and admiration did you
get for that particular one in the film room, because
(01:16:18):
that is that's savvy. I got a kick out of it.
I'm sure you did as well.
Speaker 5 (01:16:22):
Hey man, you gotta get the easy ones absolutely right
in front of you. You gotta take the easy ones,
And that's kind of what it was. So you know,
it's always I look at it like this, if a
quarterback decides to just go down. You know, I'll take
it every time. You know, I've had it before with
Tom Brady. This dec had to go down for me
and I was like, all right, perfect, But then you
(01:16:43):
have it other times people want to fight, but Gino
wants to make it easy for me, my teammate.
Speaker 3 (01:16:47):
I appreciate him absolutely. Yeah, that was fun.
Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
What respect did you have for him for keep getting up?
I mean, as you said, it was an onslaught, he
stayed in there, kept battling. I mean, he's a veteran,
he he's been through a lot. He made some good
throws despite getting hit a lot. Like just competitor or competitor.
What what was your respect level for how Gino played that?
Speaker 6 (01:17:09):
Well?
Speaker 5 (01:17:09):
I you know, just being his teammate, you know in Seattle,
I've always known how tough Gino was, and you know
everything that Gino stands for, and Gino is not going
to let that knock him out. You know, Geno's deciped
to you know, he's going to get up every time.
He's going to prove you. You know that even though
you might hit him, you know, you knock him down
like this is you know this like it's not going
(01:17:29):
to face him. So I've always respected Geno about that.
If he took some shots, you'd think the other thing.
On top of ten sacks, there's more more hits. So
he took some shots, and you know, he got up everything.
A couple of times he was on the ground, heard
a little bit, but he got up every time. And
so if I was a Raider player, I would take respect.
I would I would fight for a guy like that.
That's a guy that I no matter what how bad
(01:17:51):
the old lives, playing on the he's getting hit over
and over again. He's getting up every player for you
as a player to go out there and try to
win that game. So you know, I've already had already
habitsac for Gino, But that right there, you know, it
just it just showed more of who he was as
a person and as a players.
Speaker 3 (01:18:07):
All right, Shelby, are we I mean, how does a
I know how we in the media are reacting to this?
How are you guys reacting? In fact, Miles has thirteen
sacks in the last four games. I mean, and it's
almost oh yeah, three more like Malie Collins, your your
defensive tackle may just had the best game of his
career two and a half sacks. He's got a career
hind sacks.
Speaker 4 (01:18:23):
For the season.
Speaker 3 (01:18:24):
It wasn't even the best game on his own team.
I mean, it's it's this craziness. How do you make
sense of what you're seeing? Somebody who's been in this league,
I've seen a lot of great pass rushers. You know,
how teams game planned for him, and yet this is
what he's doing week in and week out.
Speaker 5 (01:18:38):
It's special. It just shows how great of a player
he really is. And now you know, obviously he's a.
Speaker 10 (01:18:44):
Big, you know, focal point of teams' game plans, and
he still finds a way to go out there and
be a game wrecker, you know, weekend and week out,
And it just showed like and then also to your
point with the league, it's different when other guys are
sketching up. There's only so much you can do, you
know what I mean, there's only so much you can do,
Like you have to think what you get in two
and a half, Like you know, Zagan one cam like
(01:19:08):
it's coming from everywhere, so it's only so much you
can like you can block, and so that just opens
up everyone else. And then when everyone else starts eating
then Miles gets his chances too. So it's you know,
that's how it's supposed to work. And that's the art,
you know, of the game. And when Russian coverage works together,
you see that beautiful thing happen.
Speaker 3 (01:19:26):
Do you guys feel like and do you feel like
sometimes like it's not enough just to beat your guy,
but you have to beat your guy so quickly because
it almost feels like it's a race to the quarterback,
whether it's Miles or anywhere, it's you, Mason, Malik, Isaiah
Alex right when he's out there, Cam Thomas Aiden, I mean,
it feels like by call, you have to be there.
(01:19:47):
It's not enough to just win. You got to be
there quickly.
Speaker 5 (01:19:50):
Yeah, And that's the friendly competition about it though. It's
a true race to the quarterback. And you know, we
all we all talk trash. You know, we're all like,
I'm gonna get there first. I bet this one's mine,
and you know, it's it's just it's a way to
keep us all competitive. It's a way to keep us
all you know, going at it. But that's the level
that we expect from each other, you know, And that's
(01:20:11):
that's the level of play that we you know, can
you know, expect from you know, every other player on
that line, and and and that raises the level of
play of everybody else around them, stops it all starts
with Miles in the league, and you know everyone else
is strying to you know, hit their stride too. And
that's why.
Speaker 3 (01:20:26):
And that's what we saw on sunder Shelby.
Speaker 2 (01:20:29):
So many great veterans that have been again for a while,
and Jim Schwartz's operation. You can see how you guys
all think it the same, you see it the same.
It's really a cohesive group. But the other thing that's
happened this year is we have two rookies in the
middle of this thing with with Mason who courses in
your room, and then Carson behind. When did you realize
that those two would be able to have the contributions
(01:20:50):
that they're having this year.
Speaker 5 (01:20:52):
And it's just, you know, like it's definitely, well, I
didn't expect much out of Carson this year. That's because
obviously we had Jordan Hicks start the season then he retired,
and so you know, I was I didn't know what
to expect from you know, obviously, you know Carson coming
in but Carson's obviously exceeded expectations. You know, from from
day one. You know what I mean, he's a pro.
(01:21:14):
He's he's a he's a he's he acts older than
his age. You know, he's he's a he's a pros pro.
He goes out there, he works, he knows what he's
talking about. You know, it's everything that you're expecting. You
you kind of get from a betteran linebacker that means
a rookie so out of his career, extremely bright. And
then Mason, you know, Mason's kind of coming on strong
in the last couple of weeks. He's rushing his tail off.
You know, he's playing the run, he's you know, he's
(01:21:35):
getting that confidence that he that that he he he's
playing with now, and it's just, uh, you know, this
guy's limit for both those guys. But you see obviously
what ab and everybody sawing these guys in the evaluation process.
You're seeing it really come to fruition. And in the
last couple of weeks, is really watching these guys play
and be a major factor for us and in all
of our games.
Speaker 3 (01:21:57):
How fun was it? And and you think about the fact,
you know, the team I think I was forty two sacks,
second most in the NFL. How fun was it to
play a game where you guys had the lead and
you know, you're you're Palagino Smith, He's gonna be throwing
it first down, second down, third down. And to think about,
you know, maybe what this defense even could look like
had we had more second half situations with a with
a big lead like that.
Speaker 5 (01:22:18):
Yeah, you know, so if Raiders were a team that
you know, we all knew that if you can shut
down and run early, they kind of give up on
it and they go straight pass and this, and that's
kind of what we were talking about. It's like, man, like,
you know, this is what we can do with the lead,
and this is how this is how we have to
you know, when we do get the lead in these
games and we've we've given it up before in the
past and you know, last drives and stuff like that,
(01:22:41):
this is how it's supposed to be where we get
we keep we get the lead, and we keep the lead,
you know, And that's kind of what you know, the
message we was is like, this is how we should
play every time we do get the lead. You know
what I mean, we should run around like a pack
of dogs. You know, people's forming around everywhere. You know,
it's just hitting everything in front of him. And that
was the little part about it is you kind of
(01:23:01):
saw it coming full circle. But now we got to
take it the next week because obviously the forty nine
things is our team that are extremely run first, and
you gotta go out there and you got to run
around and knock him down. And I keep going at
it and trying to make them one dimensional, which is
very tough to do. It is.
Speaker 3 (01:23:15):
Yeah, and Christ McCaffrey right now doing something that I
think has maybe never been done for. He leads the
league and not only carries, but receptions. Wow, he clearly
leads the league in total touches. So you know you're
gonna have your hands full there, Shelby. Thanksgiving coming up.
What's what do you what do you like on your
your plate on the Thanksgiving?
Speaker 5 (01:23:31):
Well, I don't know if everybody knows this, but I
hate turkey.
Speaker 3 (01:23:36):
Same it's overrated. Tie that bird? Yeah good?
Speaker 4 (01:23:42):
So what are you going?
Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
What's your centerpiece? What's your centerpiece?
Speaker 5 (01:23:46):
My wife will My wife will still make a turkey
because you know my in laws are here. I got
family in town. So everybody else they're going, they're going
to get their nasty little turkey. That's good for them.
I'm going to do a prime rib ahead. Thanksgiving is
about it's the king of all the meat, quality meat.
You know, we're gonna get a prime rib. I'm I'm
(01:24:08):
gonna make it personally. I can't have any I don't
trust anyone else's prime rib. It's gonna be my responsibility.
All right, go out there and make it personally. But
then you know, honestly, I gotta get some green bean
cast role, which is surprisably one of my favorites, mash potatoes,
and then you know, if anything, I guess mac and
cheese of course, and then that's pretty That's pretty simple
(01:24:29):
for me. I love a good banana pudding or Shelby.
Speaker 3 (01:24:33):
I mean, we need to break bread together. You're speaking
speaking my language right now.
Speaker 5 (01:24:39):
I do like an apple pie too, but banana pudding
is just makes it feel like home.
Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
Oh man, happy Thanksgiving. Great talking to you, the best
to you and your family. Thanks for your time, pal.
Speaker 5 (01:24:51):
I appreciate happy thanks Giving fellas.
Speaker 3 (01:24:53):
All right, thank you. Brother.
Speaker 2 (01:24:56):
He's gonna have he's gonna have a happy he's gonna win.

Against the Raiders, here's Duc Dizzy ten sacks, forty three pressures.
Just a dominant performance by our defense and it just
shows that if you get a few explosive plays on offense,
should or Sanders certainly provided those. You play that kind
of defense as a team that can beat a lot
of teams. The Raiders are not the best team, let's
not make any no bones about it. But you play
(01:26:25):
that formula, you have an opportunity, I think, to go
ahead and make some noise here over the final six games.
The Browns are technically not out of it, and they
don't even face a potential elimination scenario this weekend. Just
go out and keep stacking wins. All of a sudden,
you beat the Niners, you get Tennessee the next week.
You have a chance here. So that formula big plays
down the field the mistakes, minimize the mistakes, and at least,
(01:26:47):
if there are mistakes, mitigate the damage those mistakes caused.
And the Browns did a good job of that. He
had a nice return from Gage Larvaden. He had basically
all three phases making some good plays and that was enough.
And now to me a much tougher task against the
forty nine ers. But that's the formula. Give this defense
a lead more often. That was just fun. It's fun, man,
I mean the dread that you got from the Las
(01:27:07):
Vegas offense and heck they fired their offense coordinator after
the game. But you know, if we have situations where
we're just able to pin our ears back, I think
we're gonna be pretty darn good and fun to watch it.
We need we need more of those.

it's fun. So much more to come. You listen to

winning awards. You had both of the guys who have
quarterbacked basically the whole season save for the beginning when
Joe Flacco is here. Yeah, you got starting quarterbacks, Chador

who wasn't drafted. Yeah, we'll join us tomorrow. You sure, sure,
I've already said it.
Speaker 3 (01:29:18):
We've said it out loud. You said it, so must know.
Speaker 4 (01:29:21):
Kevin Copious notes that our PR staff is sent. So
I'm gonna go with it's happening.
Speaker 2 (01:29:26):
What is your guys' coaches show schedule this week?
Speaker 3 (01:29:29):
Tonight? Maybe tonight? Yeah, tonight, Isaiah McGuire, Kevin Stefanski.
Speaker 4 (01:29:35):
Isaiah McGuire not a Turkey guy.
Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
No, there's a movement. It's happening. I never heard anybody
even talking about this fifteen years ago.
Speaker 3 (01:29:44):
We started it.
Speaker 2 (01:29:44):
Well, the majority goes to credit. Well, fine, but I'm
going to give you a little bit of a head
lead on that.
Speaker 3 (01:29:50):
I take it. I take that little I think finally
and I get it right back.
Speaker 2 (01:29:53):
I think like the amount of effort it takes to
get a good one, and people will come at you
and you get this, I'm sure all the time deep
deep fried or or do it cook it upside down? Okay, fine,
but let think of the effort like the one you're
literally it's all your face. It's a could be a
legitimate bomb bomb. The deep fried one, it's not even
that good. Have you done one of those the deep Yeah, yep,
(01:30:16):
I have a fryar. I prefer the smoke. I'll smoke
it smokes.
Speaker 3 (01:30:19):
Smoke turkey is pretty good. That's pretty good. But all
I really want off of smoke turkey, honestly is the
leg Dizney does it right now.
Speaker 2 (01:30:27):
I don't know what they do with all those carcasses
with everything legs, I'm not I don't feel I don't
love turkeys, so I'm fine with them.
Speaker 3 (01:30:34):
It must be the ones, because you know a lot
of places you can just buy a turkey breast. So
my guess is like certain turkeys are just like all
the legs go to Disney and amusement parks. Yeah, the
breast go to your local grosser.
Speaker 4 (01:30:49):
Started with a bang and we're run with a bang.
Speaker 3 (01:30:51):
But sir, I don't think there's just like a bunch
of like legless carcasses out there.
Speaker 5 (01:30:55):
No.
Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
I hope they get you to think they've harvested the bird. Yeah,
I hope it's harvest I hope it's harvested because the
legs are nice. All right, enjoy your Tuesday. We are
back tomorrow. It is the first Friday of the year.
