Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up Dolphins? This is Juice and Big Seth.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
From the Fish Tank podcast, but right now you're listening
to the Dolphin UK podcast and Juice I can't wait
to dive in. Let's go on, Jeep Steves take them

(00:32):
a lead.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Us to go.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Around, Chip Chop, Hello, Welcome to the Playoffs Are Still
Alive edition of the Dolphin UK podcast.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Coming up on the show this week, we'll look at
how the Dolphins sared past the Jets, take a look
at the playoff picture, and discuss whether the Dolphins are
going to have a problem with Houston. Here as always
to discuss all of that and more is Lee. How
are you doing?

Speaker 1 (01:12):
So? I'm doing very well. How are you doing? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Not too bad?

Speaker 1 (01:17):
I mean.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
And we always talk about victory Monday podcasts, don't we
We don't quite manage to record on a Monday because
it's too soon and sometimes doesn't fit with our schedules,
and more often than not we record on a Tuesday.
So maybe instead of a victory Monday, we ought to
have something like terrific Tuesday or tremendous Tuesday or something.
Let's have a think about that.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
One that sounds good to me. I like that.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Anyway, we're going to take a deep dive into the
Jets game, surely, just a couple of things we want
to talk about before we do that. Ali k ing
Gold was nominated the Walter Payton Man of the Year
on behalf of the Mammi Dolphins organization for a second
consecutive year and a third time overall. Just wondered, Lee,
what were your thoughts on that when the news broke
on Sunday prior to the Jets game.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, Like, we were lucky enough to talk Aboulec when
we earlier in the season, and he comes across as
a super nice human being. He was generous to us,
nice to us, not only with his time but with
the zepped of his answers and being engaged with us.
And you know, I'm sure it's a bit of a

(02:21):
pain in the butt to come and talk to us
during the work week, but he was more than greater
with his time and he seems to be exactly that
way in the community as well. So it feels like
a really well deserved award. And it's great to see
the support he's get and the fact that he gets
and that he's able to get his message out there
and talk about his upbringing and kind of help other
people that goes going through and have been through the

(02:41):
same stuff that he has.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Fascinating story, isn't it, and one which he's kind of embraced,
hasn't it? In terms of his foundation and the community
work he does. It's can't be easy for him, given
the circumstances or he's upbringing, but it's nice to know
that the efforts he's given and delivered to the community
are going recognized once again.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Yeah, I mean, I've definitely got his book on my
list to read in the off season, The Seven Crucibles.
I haven't got to it in the season. It's the
sort of thing that I'd like to enjoy in the
off season when you haven't got games coming up each week.
But yeah, I can't get I can't wait to get
to read that and learn a little bit more.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
And also yesterday as that the recording today, yesterday marked
the sixth year anniversary of the Miami Miracle. Lee, what
are your memories of that day?

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah? So, I think it was It was a strange day,
wasn't It was a stressful game to go through because
it was it was so back and forth in regards
to everyone kept scoring Myntann who had left the game
and come back into the game as well. Briefly, the
Dolphins didn't score, and that's drive and that's how they
ended up kind of in that situation where they were trailing. Obviously,

(03:47):
the Patriots scored late, but I remember it was obviously
because it's around this time of year, there's a lot
of Christmas news going on, and I was kind of
texting almost to drive by drive happening to our friend Jason,
who was at a work Christmas d And as he
got to the end of the game, he actually phoned

(04:10):
me and he'd less the room and I could hear
everything going on in the background, and he was I
was trying to explain what was going on as the
play was happening live, and then just started kind of shouting,
and he's on the phone saying what's happening, and I
could I could hear that the phone wasn't there was
no longer buy my head. It was just in my
hands in the air, and I can hear him just shouted,
tell me what's happening, and I shouted to him they

(04:31):
kind of score. But yeah, it was, Yeah, it was
a lot of fun. I'll never forget it, not only
just with the play, but also for that interaction with Jason.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
It was great because I remember sat watching it almost
in shock at what I was seeing, because he kind
of resigned himself to the fact that the Dolphins were
going to lose and that was their season over, and
these things don't happen. We haven't seen it happen to
the Dolphins before any kind of that, that kind of play,
so you kind of sit back and think all the
games over and then to see it happen, it's almost like,

(05:03):
am I really watching this? And it took a while
for it to actually sink in, But once it had
sunk in and I'd watch the replays and come to
the come to realize what had actually happened. I rang
my dad and he was sat at home unwell, unfortunately,
and we were talking about it, and I was trying
to explain the context of what had happened, and we

(05:24):
had a good chat about it. And then that was
the last conversation I ever had with my dad about
American football, because a week later he passed away. So
that's kind of for me. That's the memories I have
now of the Miami Miracle in not only what happened
on the field, but the link it has got to
my dad off the field now, So it was and

(05:45):
if there was ever a kind of a last conversation
about American football with my dad, that would be it, It
wouldn't That's the one. Yeah, that's the.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
One, amazing moment to share.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Yeah, And of course the commentary is iconic as well
now and we've had that as part of our intro
from the very first episode of this podcast, and we're
going back probably four years ago, now is it? And
we still have it today, don't we?

Speaker 1 (06:09):
Absolutely? And I think it will stay in there for
the fortitiful future.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
They will, they will, indeed, Right and onto the Jets, then.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Lee, let's talk about the Jets game and the overtime
victory at hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. What is more
important at this stage of the season. Do you think
it's the performance or just getting the result? And we
see this after every win. There is obviously opinions on
both sides of this argument.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
There is I mean, obviously needing a win is the
most important thing at this stage of the season, and
they've proved they can do it without playing well for
the whole game. Looking at the performance from a high
level view, though they put a good amount of points
on the board, they racked up the yardage, they didn't
turn the ball over or against the defense that ranked
number three overall coming into the game. What I liked

(06:58):
about the performance was so when they had to dig deep,
they did it, and they did it well and performed
to a high level in the clutch moments. And I'm
not sure we have seen the team perform in that
kind of pressure situation before. Nothing springs to mind in
terms of an equivalent situation where they've had to dig
deep and got a result. Was it a coming of age?

(07:22):
Time will tell on that one. And to give you
some examples here, we had the drive at the end
of the first half where they only had forty nine
seconds to go and they got that long fifty seven
field goal. Then there was the drive at the end
of the fourth where they only had fifty two seconds left,
which resulted in another field goal, this time for fifty two.
And then we had the seventy yard driving over time

(07:43):
which clinched the game. So when those three clutch moments,
the Dolphins pulled it out each time and a lot
of that had to do with the performance and growth
of tour. Now to do it for those three times
in the same game, I'm not sure we would have
seen that in the past. Obviously he had the benefit
of time in the extra period and getting the ball

(08:04):
first helped, But on the other two drives, time was
not favorable and left no margin forever, and they still delivered.
Now the Dolphins will clutch in those moments. Also said
a lot about the mentality of Jason Sanders in terms
of bouncing back from an earlier miss to make those
two long field goals. He doesn't seem to let mistakes

(08:25):
bother him, and I think that's tartly down to the
confidence the coach is showing in him. And I know
you're going to comment on that later on, But to
overall answer that question, I think is a little bit
of both. I think they need the wins because they've
got no margin of era been in order to carry
on winning, they need to put in some good performances
as well. And overall, Yet, while there were things here

(08:47):
and there that you would perhaps like to have back,
I think overall they did okay, and they did the.

Speaker 1 (08:53):
Job absolutely, and I'm Glad you mentioned coach there, because
we think about on a podcast a while ago, and
I've got a feeling it might have been the Raiders
game last year, possibly where Jason Sanders missed the kick
and coach put him back in very quickly. The next
opportunity put him back into kick field goal, he made

(09:16):
it and then goes on to kick game winners. That
exact same thing plays out here, and I think, like
your head coach gets a lot of criticism when things
are going badly, and when they go well, it tends
to be the player's fault. Not necessarily coaches, but sometimes
I think you can look at something really obvious and say,
look what happened here. This had a direct, a direct

(09:39):
impact on the outcome of the game. You know, Jason
missed the point after attempt early in the game, and
then was it the next drive? I think it was
the next drive. But Dolphin's end up with four fourth
and one fourth and short in the low red zone,
and I have to believe that every part of Mike

(10:03):
with Daniels Bee wants to go for it there. He
trusted the offense. We'd seen him go for it on
fourth down already. I believe that he thinks, you know,
he trust in this offense to go and get a score.
At the time, I think he probably weighed it up
and made the decision that the confidence of his kicker
could be more important come late in this game. And

(10:24):
I know the difference is possibly four points and could
possibly be seven points if he was to miss the kick,
but he doesn't. He puts him in, makes a kick. Okay,
not the longest kick in the world. I'm sure it's
not the kick Jason Sanders is going to look back
and be the most proud of. But when you need
that long kick to tie the game late, I had

(10:44):
no fear that he was going to miss that kick
based on him having missed a kick earlier in the game,
because he came back, like you say, didn't let it
affect him that all the other ones right down the middle,
no doubt. And then he comes in and kicks kicks
that game to send it to overtime. Sorry, kicks that
field goal and sends it to overtime. And yeah, I
think I think it's a huge coaching moment that really

(11:07):
affects the outcome of the game. And so it's not
the first time Mike McDaniel's done it. But I think
it deserves a lot of praise for that, because I
think it would have been really easy to say, yeah,
send out the offense and we'll try and punch this
in or make the Jets drive a long way. I
think it's sorry. And also I think it's where analytics
meets gut feeling, because the analytics doesn't tell you to

(11:29):
put the kicker in at that point, it probably tells
you to go for it. But with that being said,
you mentioned the Dolphins stepping up in clutch moments, but
the performance wasn't without some concerns as well.

Speaker 4 (11:43):
Yeah, I mentioned them. I mean, first of all, I
think the Jets surprised me with that performance, particularly on offense,
as I generally thought they were good and didn't play
like a unit that ranked thirty first. Overall, Rogers looked
like his old self, had his first three hundred yard
performance in thirty five games to rookie running, ran well
in the absence of Breeze Hall rushing for combined eighty

(12:03):
three yards, and they had two hundred yard receivers in
Adams and Wilson. They moved the ball well and didn't
have to punt until the fourth quarter, but it seemed
as though the Dolphins' defense struggled at times. They gave
up six drives of seventy yards or more. Even when
they forced the Jets pretty much out of field goal
range at the end of the fourth, they still found

(12:25):
a way to let the Jets back into getting nearer
and making that kick to take the lead. So the
question is, did we see the Jets played like the
team that pundits thought they were going to be seeing
when they made their preseason predictions, or was it the
Dolphins d underperforming. I think it's maybe a little bit
of both. We know the Jets have got some good players,

(12:48):
as we said on the preview last week, so there
was always going to be the possibility they'd be productive,
and Aaron Rodgers likes playing in Miami, as we also said.
But on the flip side, we are so far into
the season that the number of games played is a
big enough sample size I think to provide an accurate
picture of a team's ability. So the fact that the
defense gave up a significant amount of yardage and needed

(13:10):
to really dig deep to win, I think there are
some legitimate concerns, but I don't think they are concerns
that can't be coached. And we said last week when
we were looking at the Packers game, there were one
or two tackling issues, particularly early in the game. And
that's a coaching element, isn't it that you can address.
You can't address things like the cold weather, but you
can address things like that can impact the outcomes of games,

(13:32):
like coaching, tackling and things like that.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Absolutely, And they also seem to struggle to get enough
pressure up front to force any of those plays to
be quicker than they wanted. The Jets seem to have
time all the time, and I mean, the performance isn't
without its problems. I mean, you've only got to look
at the the Zach Sealer sack that put them out

(13:57):
of field goal range. At the end of the time.
Garrett also down in wide open in the middle of
the field, and that's completely it's probably a touchdown, but
it's certainly going to end the game because if he
doesn't score, you're taking these and kicking the field goal
to win the games. So you know, there was opportunities there,
And of course the argument could be made that when
the Dolphins got the ball back and went up the
field they almost ended it. I think if they hadn't

(14:20):
been under a little bit of time pressure that play,
maybe he goes slightly differently. Everything just felt a little
bit rushed. But I would say compared to what we
saw in the season, we sat here and spoke about
the team not being able to get lined up, penalties
and illegal shifts, illegal informations under pressure, two was able
to get them lined up and have a shot at

(14:41):
Tyreek Hill to score. And I'm going to guess, looking back,
that's one of those throws that would have frustrated him
because it was kind of that and it's kind of
the throw that you see him make all the time.
So you know, in the grass skiing of things, it's fine.
They ruin field goal range, they had to run a
play because it was third down, did all those things,
but you know, there's a few things there where this

(15:04):
could have gone either way.

Speaker 4 (15:06):
And don't forget even though we think past rushing the
quarterback is a bit of a concern at the moment,
they've got Bradley Chubb on the verge of returning as well,
and we don't yet know when he's going to make
his first appearance of the season. But He's twenty one
day practice window has been opened for a while now,
so hopefully, on the assumption there are no more further

(15:26):
setbacks on that injury front, maybe we'll see him take
the field sooner rather than later to kind of boost
that pass rush.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Absolutely so that you said, do you want to get
onto some bins facts.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
Yeah, and we've got loads this weekly, so I think
we should split them up because there's so many good
nuggets to come out of this game, as you would
have expected with a game like that. And the first
thing I want to say is that it was a
score of Gami as well. Never before has that game
seen a thirty two to twenty six final score. And
we'll talk about a little bit more about score a Garmi's.

(16:00):
But Miami picked up its fourth consecutive win over New
York in today's contest. It marks the seventh time the
Dolphins have won at least four consecutive games against the Jets,
dating back to the twenty sixteen season. Miami's fourteen and
three against the Jets. The dolphins fourteen wins against the
Jets is their most against any opponent since twenty sixteen,

(16:21):
and their eighty two point four winning percentage across the
seventeen contests is the best against any opponent Miami has
faced more than three times. Miami's fourteen and three record
against the Jets is tied for sixth best against a
divisional opponement in the NFL since twenty sixteen. The win
was Miami's first winning overtime since we beat the Bengals

(16:43):
in twenty nineteen, as we talked about the other week,
and it was their first overtime game since that lost
in Vegas also, which we mentioned a couple of weeks ago.
But yees, so some good nuggets there coming out of
our series with the Jets. But tour has also got
a load of nuggets, good fins facts, hasn't it. Do
you want to go through those leagues?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Yeah, definitely, there's some interesting ones there. And it was
a great performance from QB one on Sunday, So too,
are completely thirty three or forty seven past attempts for
seventy point two percent completion for three hundred and thirty
one yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Two is now
five and oh is a starting quarterback and six and

(17:21):
zer in games played against the Jets. With his five
and o record and against the Jets and seven and
against the New England Patriots. Two is the only active
quarterback to have a record of five and oh and
betset against two opponents, and his three hundred and thirty
one yard performance, Tour became the fourth quarterback in Dolphin's
history to pass with fifteen thousand yards. Can you name

(17:44):
the three above him? You can, obviously, because you can
see the thing. I guessing you would have got those.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
I think I probably would have got those.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Yeah, I think most people would, but just to read
them out, Tour is now fourth from the list with
fifteen thousand and ninety five yards and ninety eight touchdowns.
Ryan Tannehill comes in his third place with twenty thousand,
four hundred and thirty four yards and one hundred and
twenty three touchdowns. Bob Greasi is then with twenty five
thousand and ninety two yards and one hundred and ninety

(18:14):
two touchdowns, and somewhat unsurprisingly, Dan Marino is out in
front with sixty one yards and four hundred and twenty touchdowns,
which is just insane, really, isn't it. But I think
the interesting thing is, I know, obviously he would have
played the least games but the completion percentage on sorry, yeah,
the completion percentage on there is really quite interesting too.

(18:35):
Currently sits just over sixty eight percent at sixty eight
point one. The next tires is Ryan Tannehill sixty two
point eight percent. But yeah, just interesting stats there.

Speaker 4 (18:46):
Yeah, it is interesting if you look at the time
period that Tannehill got his twenty yard twenty thousand yards,
that was over the course of what six years, too
has been here four and he's only in his five
thousand yards hind So if you assume that he's going
to throw more than two and a half thousand yards
for each of the next two seasons, he'll overtake Ryan

(19:09):
Tannehill in that list in a shorter timeframe.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Most likely.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Cool.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
Did you agree? Excellent?

Speaker 4 (19:17):
So shall we give out some game balls?

Speaker 1 (19:19):
Leaf?

Speaker 4 (19:20):
First of all, did you want to go through the
fan vote that we put out on social media just
to see what those out in the social media world
thought of the game and who they voted for.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
Absolutely, So, we put out a poll after the game
asking you to vote for a game ball to be
given out on the show, and there was actually eight options,
wasn't there? It was two poles? Well, I've only got
the one list in front of me.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
Seven there were seven options. We had to do it
over to over two posts in the same thread.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Okay, so the options were John Smith, Jason Sanders, the Leak,
Washington two A tongue of Bylowa and.

Speaker 4 (19:58):
Jellen World d Turreik Killen Zacts.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Jayla Model, tyre Kians Actually, and the winner with fifty
nine percent of the vote was QB one. It was
two A Tanga Vila And yeah, I think he led
that poll start to finish, which is interesting. I thought
I thought Johnny might get a few more votes based on,

(20:22):
you know, the way overtime played out there, obviously being
a huge part of it and grabbing the winning you know,
the walk off touchdown at the end. But yeah, I
mean obviously too as a part of all of that.

Speaker 4 (20:33):
I mean, don't forget this is a game ball. It's
not MVP. It's not best player who contributed the most.
It's it's who gets your game ball, isn't it. And
you can interpret that however you wish, can't you, As
seventeen people did and they voted for John Neu Smith
and Malle Washington got five percent of people. Recognize the
wish or the need to give out a game ball

(20:54):
for their contribution.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Absolutely, and to be honest, all of the guys in
this lists are a game ball. It was good performances,
every single one of them. But yeah, we know this
is the award order players really want to win for the.

Speaker 4 (21:06):
Record, Tyreek Kill and jenn and Wordel didn't get any
votes and was actually they got two percent, so.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
They quite astounding.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
Really, but who got your game ball?

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Lee?

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Who do you think? Who do you not? Who do
you think? But who who has received your game ball?

Speaker 1 (21:24):
I vote to Gona be honest, I thought it was
a great performance. I thought it was like you said,
it was a mature performance. So he took control in overtime.
At no point did I think he was he was
going to leave that field about a touchdown when he
went into overtime. They the saying about the look on
his face when he won the toss and said he

(21:45):
wanted to receive the ball. Obviously they was going to
do that, but I don't know, it just projected confidence.
So yeah, he got my vote and it.

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Was an elite throw, wasn't it for the touchdown to
Johnny Smith as well? Wasn't it it was angle and
the way the ball just sat nicely for Johnny Smith,
who incidentally juggled it as well. He didn't catch it cleanly,
but there were three defenders around him. Weren't there any places?

Speaker 1 (22:11):
You know, there was plenty of jets in the area,
but also really the only person who had a shot
it was Johnny. I mean, it's a great throw, and
if you look across the field, you know there's an
opportunity to possibly get a ball towards Jalen Waddle, like
there was places to go with the ball. That isn't
a you know, a high level throw to complete that
with the game on the line, you know, nerves are

(22:32):
steal love it.

Speaker 4 (22:34):
And incidentally, you did a nice mesh of different camera angles,
didn't you, and created a nice little kit clip which
we've put out on social media of that touchdown pass
and that's a thanks. Obviously the Dolphins were the ones
who took one of the sideline view of the clip,
and you merged it with the TV camera broadcast clip.
Didn't you need to create a nice different way of

(22:55):
looking at that touchdown pass?

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah? I just thought it was fun.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Yeah, that's how on social media and my game Bill Lee,
I've given it whilst tour did was at the forefront
of my mind. I think I needed to give it
to Jason Sanders because I love the way he bounced
back after his missed extra point to kick two fifty
yard field goals, one at the end of each half,
as we said earlier, and it seems as though he's
got a really strong mentality to not let missing an

(23:21):
easy kick bother him. He went through a spell a
year or two back where he got some criticism for
his performances, but he's come through the other side of
that now. I think it's fair to say he's fifty
seven yard tied a career long. He's made at least
one field goal in every game this season. It's the
fifth time in his career he's nailed two fifty yarders

(23:42):
in the same game, and he did it also against
the Rams in November. And it's his tenth tying or
game winning field goal in the fourth quarter in his career.
So there's just some additional Finns facts for you.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
Absolutely. So that being said, I think that takes us
on to halftime.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
It is halftime. Shall we do some trivia?

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Let's do some trivia, right Shall I go through the.

Speaker 4 (24:12):
Old question and you can set the listeners the new question?

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Absolutely? All right.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
So the question last week we posed which game in
Dolphins history has had the highest number of points scored
for both teams combined? And the answer was on the
twenty first of September nineteen eighty six, the Dolphins played
the Jets, funnily enough, and the score was another overtime game,
and it was this time it was played in the

(24:37):
Meadowlands in New Jersey, and it was a fifty one
forty five shootout win for the New York Jets. And
I said last weekly that that was a significant game
in the early days of me watching the Dolphins, and
I remember it like yesterday. Did you get a chance
to catch it on YouTube?

Speaker 1 (24:52):
No, I haven't yet, but you did send me the link.
I do think we should post that link so everyone
else can catch it as well.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
Yeah, it was a great game, battle of two good quarterbacks,
obviously Marino for the Dolphins and Ken O'Brien for the Jets.
And it was the story of a tight end called
Wesley Walker I think, who scored four touchdowns for the
Jets in that game, and I believe he scored the
winner in overtime as well, So it was it was
a great game to watch and it set me on
the road to be in a Miami fan, even though

(25:18):
they lost that game. And that game incidentally was also
a scorer GARMI at the time. Would you believe back
in nineteen eighty six, Now talking to scoring armies before
we get on to our new question, Lee, I did
want to just done a little bit of research on
scory garmies just to see if I could find out
what are the Dolphins games were also a scorer army

(25:41):
And I picked this out from the somebody on the
Finns Nation Facebook group who kindly posted this, and just
some recent games that have been scoring. Gami's forty five
fifteen victory over the Commanders last season was a scorer Garmy.
The seventy to twenty went over the Broncos was a
scorer of Army last year. Nineteen fifty six defeat to

(26:01):
the Ravens last season was also a score of Gamy,
so they had three last season. They had a twenty
six to fifty six loss to the Bills in twenty
twenty one was a score of Gami. The Raiders they
played out the Raiders in twenty twenty and one twenty six,
twenty five that was a score of gamy, and several

(26:24):
against the Jets. To either look of it, we are
one two, three four five games against the Jets has
resulted in a score of gamy over the years. So
some interesting Morphins facts for you. Anyway, league go on
set this week's question.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
So this week's question is Jayla Wordl's four eighty five
career receiving yards are the most in a player's first
four seasons in Dolphins history. Which player did he just
overtake against the Jets to reach the top spot? Yes?
I did know the answer to.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
This, Yeah, and I probably would have guessed this one
as well.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
So do you want to give us an update on
the Pickham League?

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Yep, why not? So at the bottom of the Pickham
League we have bris Mark fifty nine, who unfortunately didn't
make any picks this week, so he's now been cast
a drift a little bit, but he's on one hundred
and four points. Louis Coe's only slightly head on one
hundred and six, but then a significant gap now to
Lee Finn's fan, who is just above the relegation zone

(27:28):
on one hundred and twenty three, followed by Miami five
I one with one hundred and twenty eight and Jojo
Chi Meyer who has one hundred and twenty nine, And
all four teams down at the bottom who made selections
got nine predictions right out of eleven or twelve I.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
Think this week.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
And at the top we have Danny Meyer's one four
to three. Stokey Dolphin eighty six, who had a league
high of eleven correct predictions this week, is in fourth
one hundred and forty four and then a little bit
of a gap. I got ten this right on one
four nine and actually seventy two equals perfection and Rabots

(28:08):
seventy nine also got ten right this week, so little
movement between the top three there. So it's all to
play for still Raybots out in front and it's up
to us to catch him.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Now. Absolutely, I was annoyed I changed one of I
changed one of my predictions right at the last minute
because I thought to myself, I need to realistically try
and catch up some points just for the fun of it,
and it didn't work in my favor. So yeah, I
picked the Packers to upset the Lions just because the

(28:40):
Lions had some injuries and they end up falling by
three points. That cost me. It makes me big. There
is only at the last minute, I don't know why
I had the Lions in there. So I've been looking
these results, these picks in kind of after we do
the podcast, so I know that I've got my picks
in each week because done that before, missed the week,
but you know, at the last minute, decided to change

(29:03):
my mind and it left it badly.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
I was interesting. The Browns were the least picked to win,
with only eight percent of the pool picking the Browns
to beat the Steelers. I'm surprised it was that high,
to be honest, And the Dolphins were the most picked.
One hundred percent of the pool picked the Dolphins to
beat the Jets.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Interesting.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
I'll be interesting to see what that split looks like
next week at Houston.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Absolutely and.

Speaker 4 (29:32):
Right, should we talk about the playoff picture?

Speaker 1 (29:33):
Then let's talk about the playoff picture. So last week
we had a ten percent chance of making the playoffs.
How does that look this week?

Speaker 4 (29:43):
Silent, it's gone up slightly to fourteen percent. Now it
was fifteen percent yesterday, but it's gone down another clip,
another clip, another percent, to fourteen percent, which I presume
is as a result of the Bengals beating the Cowboys.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
Yeah, must be AFC team be NFC team on Monday
night was probably the one percent chance. So with that
being said, should we let's look at the stand ins first,
because I think that's probably a good place to start.
We know that the Dolphins currently sit two spots outside

(30:22):
the wild card race, which is currently occupied by the
Baltimore Ravens, who are eight and five and on a
one game losing streak, The LA Chargers, who are eight
and five and also lost their last outing, The Denver Broncos,
who are out eight and five but have won their
last three. Then the Indianapolis Colts, who are just outside

(30:44):
at six and seven, one game ahead of your Miami
Dolphins on a win streak of one, and then followed
by the Dolphins, who are also six and seven on
a win streak of one and behind on a tiebreaker
having lost to the Colts earlier this season.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
I think we said we were going to take a
look at the next four weeks, didn't we in terms
of who each team is playing, And I think for
the purposes of this, we're going to exclude Baltimore and
the Chargers because their win percentage is so high ninety
seven and eighty nine percent respectively, that realistically they're almost
guaranteed a playoff spot, and as you know, the Dolphins

(31:21):
are probably fighting for that last time, aren't they. Shall
we take a look the Denver Broncos for now in
terms of the next four games currently Sat. Eight and five.
As you say, third in the FC West. Who have
they got coming up on their schedule?

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Well, this week is an intriguing matchup for us as
Dolphins fans and one that you hopefubably want to have
a rooting interest in because this week Denver play at
home against the Indianapolis Colts, then they got on the
road at the Los Angeles Chargers, on the road to

(31:55):
the Cincinnati Bengals, and then at home against the Kansas
City Chiefs.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
Yes, a pretty difficult last four games there. Interestingly, none
of those four are out of the playoff race. Even
the Cincinnati Bengals have not yet been officially eliminated, so
they've got something to play for. And according to Jason
Bell of Sky Sports, Joe Burrow is one of the
greatest of all time to play a quarterback, so they
must have a chance in that game being at home
as well. So yeah, difficult slate of games there f

(32:23):
for the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
Absolutely, And that brings us onto the currently eight seeded
Indianapolis Colts, who, as I just mentioned, this week on
the road to Denver, but then play against the Tennessee
Titans at home in the Division, of course, go on
the road to the New York Giants, and then come
home to play another's visional matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Of course we were talking off air, weren't we, lee
around how more straightforward that schedule looks for the Colts
than the Houston Texans next four games, doesn't it? Because
the Texans themselves have got obviously the Dolins next week,
and then they're away at the Chiefs, and then they're
playing the Ravens, and then they are away at the

(33:07):
Tennessee Titans last game the season, who have already beaten
the Texans. So the Colts look to have a pretty
decent run in whereas the Houston Texans don't. And I
know you were keen to point this out, weren't you
before the show around? Maybe we should be keeping an
eye on the Texans.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Now. Yeah, So although the Texans have a ninety seven
percent chance of making the playoffs, that's obviously based on
the fact that they've won two games against Indianapolis in
the division. But where it kind of goes a little
bit could go a little bitself. Obviously, Indianapolis need to
win four games with their opponents at Denver this week,
but then after that they play three teams eliminated from

(33:43):
playoff contention, and teams not only eliminated from playoff contention,
but also in the conversation for the first overall pick.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
So they're tanking.

Speaker 1 (33:55):
Then lead read into that what you will, and you know,
if you were, as the Miami Dolphins fan, able to
go into Houston and win that game on Sunday evening,
Houston then need to start looking over their shoulder a
little bit because they would be eight wins and to
get to ten and match the Indianapolis Colts that need

(34:15):
to win two, but those games would be on the
road at Kansas City the following week. So Kansas City
in SIRI are still playing for the number one seed.
I know they have a two game lead, but that
means they can't afford to drop one at this stage.
Then they play at home against Baltimore, who were also
playing for seeding and possibly the chance of winning that division.

(34:37):
And then they played, like you say, they played Tennessee
on the road, and Tennessee have beat them already. They're granted,
I just mentioned Tennessee are kind of in that conversation
for the first overall pick, but they're also in a
position to play spoiler, and we have been there and
been that team in the past, so I don't know.
It sounds like it could be interesting. If they need
two wins and we were to beat them, they would

(34:59):
then need two wins from Kansas City, Bolt more intense,
and that's maybe not as favorable as needing four winds.
If in Newanapolis can beat Denver, they'd only need three
from Tennessee, the New York Giants, and Jacksonville.

Speaker 4 (35:14):
What is clear, though, is the fact that the Dolphins
are two games behind that number seventh seed. The earliest
they can put themselves into that seventh seed is in
three games time, and that's clear. In that seventh seed
that's kept three games time at the earliest. So they've
got to take care of their own business first, of course,

(35:35):
and rely on other teams to do them favors. So
as look, if the Dolphins keep winning, then it will
probably go down to the wire when it last game
of the season.

Speaker 1 (35:44):
I could see that absolutely, and let's hope it does
because it means we're in a in a chance.

Speaker 4 (35:51):
Yeah, But first and foremost, they have got to take
care of their own business, starting with a visit to
the Houston Texans on Sunday. The Texans, as we said,
are currently sat in first place in the AFC South
with a nineteen five record. Their overall rank is eighteenth,
their rushing rank is sixteenth. On offense, this is and
their passing rank is sventeenth, and on defense, the overall

(36:14):
rank is fifth, their rushing rank is teventh, and their
passing rank is seventh. So, Lee, we're talking about the playoffs.
How important is this game for the team in terms
of the playoff race.

Speaker 1 (36:29):
I mean, I think we just went through it a
little bit and and some of what I've got written down,
we've kind of just just covered. Anything that we've just
said is completely completely academic. If you can't win the game,
because there's no margin, Verra, every game needs to be
won from here on out to get into the playoffs,
and you still need help from others because of the
position that you're in now. Obviously we know some teams

(36:50):
are playing each other, but you still need help. So
the first the first thing, as is always the case,
is taking care of your own business, and they were
able to do that Sunday, and they need to find
a way to go and do that again this Sunday
on the road if you want to. We've talked the
last couple of weeks about you know, narratives around the NFL,
narratives around this team. They want to go and kill
another one. This is the week to do it, is

(37:12):
to go on the road against the team with a
winning record in a big game and find a way
to get a result. And this would come slightly back
to what we spoke about when reviewing the Jets game,
and I asked you earlier, is it about the win
or the performance? At this stage of the season, It's
about the win. The performance is great, and you if
you win all these games, you're probably going to find

(37:32):
that you've put in a good performance at some point,
but winning is all that matters.

Speaker 4 (37:36):
Yeah, they go hand in hand at this stage.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Only yeah, exactly, because you know, I would argue that
two of the Dolphins' best performances this year actually in losses.
I thought they've paid really well against the Cardinals, really
well against the Bills on the road. Those both resulted
in the loss. That you games are still only worth
one in the in the lost column, so at the moment,
all that matters is a getting the wins, and this
is a big opportunity to say, to go kill some narrative.

(38:00):
So I thought they definitely took a step towards that
on Sunday, like you say, big drives when they were
absolutely needed pressure drives because that was a must win
game as well that we're not having this conversation about
a chance of getting into the playoffs if you fall
last Sunday to the Jets based on the way the
other results went, because you'd have been one game further behind.

(38:21):
It's okay mathematically there would have been a chance. We
know how unlikely that that would have been in reality.
So I thought that was a huge step under pressure
to get into this position.

Speaker 4 (38:34):
We talked earlier about how there were one or two
concerned over the Dolphins play against the Jets, and one
concern that has been a become apparent over the last
few weeks actually is the wrong game, But so how
the productivity has kind of dropped off a little bit.
So how does the run game get back on track
against the fifth ranked defense.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
It's going to be a tough task, isn't it that
We've got some changes there on the offensive line. With
toront Armstead coming out of the game last week, it
sounds like he's unlikely to go this week. I know
it's early in the week and things change, and I'm
sure he's going to give it a go, but he
looked pretty distraught on the sideline. I'm sure it's a
tough time. And the guy's a warrior. We know how

(39:16):
hard it is for him to get through on a
week by week basis, and he's played every game up
to now and played it an incredibly high level. So look,
there's changes, and it's it's going to impact the run game.
There is a way to get back on track, though,
and there is a way to get back to what
you want to do, and the passing game can help

(39:36):
with that. Some success in the passing game can help
lighten up the box a little bit, a little bit
of continuity with the new guys and getting used to
doing doing what they do well. You know, if Patrick
Paulwick sells at blocking for inside runs, you're going to
lean more that way. I know logic says that you
want to put these guys in and you know, get

(39:59):
to your game plan, but it's too late in the
season for that not to work. So you're going to
play to the player's strengths and we're going to learn
what those are. But I also think this is where
you lean on the old heads in the room, and
that's going to be Rahem Moster, who missed last week's game.
But let's hope that he's first of all healthy and
fit and well for this Sunday's game, because I think

(40:20):
you're going to lean on his experience in these big games.
He's got big game experience and with his time with
the San Francisco forty nine ers, and you know, players
with that experience know how to not panic, keep going,
trusting what they see, trusting what they know of the scheme.
And I think Jeff Wilson comes into play there as well,
and that's not even necessarily just with being on the field,

(40:41):
but it's also just being part of the room all
week and leading up to the game. And I think
they will be priceless coming up to this and you know,
everyone knows that they have to improve and that this
it needs to come back up to scratch to balance
back out the offense. The passing game last week was
able to get the job done. You know, almost two

(41:04):
hundred yard receivers. I think it was one hundred and
ninety nine yards waddle. Yeah, which seems incredibly unfair, but yeah,
do you know what I mean? They found a way
to get the job done. And if we can find
a way to get something out as a run game,
it's going to help keep you balance and help just
a better performance across the board, because we know once

(41:26):
teams get a lock on something, it can become very difficult.

Speaker 4 (41:30):
So they've got some momentum. A win is a win,
and of course wins breed confidence. So how much confidence
can the team take forward from that win against the Jets.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
I hope they are going into this game full of confidence.
You mentioned it earlier, and they were able to execute
really important drives, but not once You're not looking at
that game and saying got away with that. They were
able to do it. Like you said at the end
of the first half, the end of regulation to force
overtime and then the overtime drive as well. If that

(42:02):
doesn't give you confidence, I'm not sure what can. The
record is the record, and that's an accumulation of things
that have happened. But in a game situation when you
needed to get a win, I would say it brought
the best out of them, like game you needed. Okay,
like you said earlier, did we see did we let

(42:24):
the Jets play well? Or are the Jets playing up
to where maybe they should have been, or did we
beat a team that is bad then struggled to beat them?
Tyrekhill got one hundred yards, Jalen Border got ninety nine
yards to win over three hundred yards and let a
game winning overtime touchdown drive. Like that's at the beginning

(42:44):
of the season what you thought this team was. So
I think they should go in there with incredible confidence.
And I wanted to give a It's not a special
mention because I'm sure he knows what he's doing, but
something that I noticed there on that last drive, it

(43:07):
was the sorry the start of the overtime drive. I
thought the first player of the drive was the most
important player of the game. Now do you remember what
the play was, you're smiling at me. I think you
might remember.

Speaker 4 (43:21):
The play was an incomplete passley.

Speaker 1 (43:24):
The play was an incomplete past and why was that
the most important player of the game.

Speaker 4 (43:29):
So I'm intrigued to find out because I did wonder
whether you'd gone mad, gone mad, because I'm.

Speaker 1 (43:35):
Not mad too.

Speaker 4 (43:36):
What the question was, and I knew the answer, and
I wondered if you were got it confused with the
next play, which was the twenty yards to john Neu Smith.
So go only share with me why it was your
favorite play.

Speaker 1 (43:47):
I expect Tour to make a twenty yard past to
Johnny Smith's. That doesn't surprise me. It was great, and
it's in a big moment, and it's a big throw.
This is a guy who's won a national championship, top
five pick in the NFL. I expect those sort of things.
He's franchise quarterback. There was a moment. There was a
moment there where as he rolls out to the left,

(44:10):
he thought about holding onto it, and you saw him
go through the process that has got him in trouble
in the past, which is to hold onto the ball
too long and make something happen. But you almost saw
you saw it click, it's first down. Just throw the
ball away, and he just threw the ball away after
that seven yard touchdown drive. But the most important thing

(44:33):
was two are not getting hit on the play. Didn't
need to take a hit there. It's first down. I
know it's over time, but this is what I'm saying
about pressure. The hit that he took against the Bills
was a pressure moment because it was fourth down. He
was desperately trying to convert. Took a hit that it's

(44:54):
not unnecessary, but he's trying to make a play. But
here you see he understood the value of him being
in there the next play, him being the starting quarterback
as this team, and I think that's a huge step
forward for him. So that's why I think that was
a huge play. Even though, like you say, you think
I've got mad because there's a bunch of good players
in there, that that one was really important, And I

(45:16):
don't know if people look at it that way, but
I thought it was a big moment, especially for Tour
and his growth.

Speaker 4 (45:22):
Was that the one where he rolled out not just
out of the pocket, but he rolled out towards the sideline.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
That's it, right, towards the dolphin's sideline, and about about
when he gets to the numbers. I stood up in
my living room and Olivia just gone to bend and
trying to require it, and I just just throw it
away like that. It's not there. It's fine, do you
know what I mean? But this is what we said
earlier in the season. It's not there. The most important
thing is that you're under center the next slap. You
don't need to take a hit there. If it's not there,

(45:50):
there's no point in taking the hit. And I'm sure
if you do it enough times, you're going to make
a spectacular play. He's a great quarterback. It's going to happen.
But percentage play is to be there for second down,
because what happens on second down you get the player
started driving.

Speaker 4 (46:07):
Yeah, he's interesting in how you were shouting it to
her to throw it away as opposed to shouting it
to her to slide, like we have done over the
last few weeks exactly.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
But it goes back to that thing. You know, sliding
is great as well, don't take the hit, but when
you slide, you do, you do risk taking a hit.
We've seen it enough times in the NFL, especially in
the last few weeks. But when the play was so
clearly dead so early on, you could see that as
he started to roll out, he knew there was nothing there.
He was just desperate to try and make something happen.
I say, that's why I think it's an important play

(46:37):
because under pressure, he was able to stay focused and
make the right decision, and that was to throw that
ball away. Because he goes on to leaders see the
touchdown drive to end the game.

Speaker 4 (46:49):
So tell me Lee, I don't think throwing incomplete passes
is the way forward to beating the Texan So how
are they going to do that? Give us your path
to victory.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
I would rather people were open and he was able
to complete parts. Is that it's way more fun. But
I think you know, coming off the buy, if for
the Texans, if there is any sort of slow start,
you need to put your foot down and make sure
and you take a lead. We know the Dolphins play
better when they're in front, and they play better with
a lead, so there could be an opportunity to do

(47:22):
that here coming off the bye. I haven't looked into
the Texans stats coming off the buy with a second
year starter at quarterback and a second year head coach.
I don't know if there's anything to be gleamed from
their previous bye weeks. I'm sure they're still learning as well.

(47:43):
But we've seen plenty of teams that do come off
the buye with a sluggish start. They could also come
out firing out the blocks. And you know the inverse
is true as well. You need to keep pace and
if you can find a way to keep them down
early getting out to a good start.

Speaker 4 (47:58):
What about on defense, got to find a way.

Speaker 1 (48:01):
To tackle better. You mentioned it earlier. If you're playing
against Joe Mixon, he's going to hurt you. Interestingly, who's
the second highest Russier on the Houston Texans behind Jamison?

Speaker 4 (48:14):
You're going to say c J. Stroud.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
I am going to say c J. Stroud. And it's
not with an awful lot of yard, but it's enough
to hurt you and extend plays. So you need to
find a way to get it done. Going back to
what we said earlier, this is another week of just
find a way to get it done. The Dolphins came
up with huge plays on Sunday and when they needed
the most, the plays to push the Jets out of it,

(48:39):
didn't push them out of field goal range, made it
a long field goal, didn't it. Then they converted for
a shorter field goal, But stop them converting and taking
time off the clock and enabling the Dolphins to get
the ball back in time to kick it a game
time field goal. So find a way to get it
done and hopefully, like you say, we get to see
some players return this week as well. So what is

(49:05):
your part of victory? How do the Dolphins come out
victorious this Sunday?

Speaker 4 (49:09):
Well, it's obvious now we know the next game is
always going to be the most important game of the season,
and we are facing the same old narrative. If you
hit the nail on the head earlier. Can the Dolphins
beat a team with a winning record, a playoff contender
on the road in December? Now, I've been looking at
their home form and they're not blowing teams out at home,
and in fact, I've lost their last two when Detroit

(49:31):
and Tennessee were the visitors. Now, of the teams they've
beaten at home, their margins of victory have been six, four,
three and three points. So they're not blowing teams out
at home. And I think this bodes well for the
Dolphins because if they're going to win, I think it
has to be another close one. It will be very
hard to fall behind early like they did in Green Bay,

(49:51):
and you mentioned it about getting off the fast start
and expect to come back from that as Houston are
just too good I think. Plus it's very well coming
from behind to win against the Jets team at home,
but it's a different proposition away from hard Rock Stadium.
Now the Dolphins will be playing in a dome for
only the second time this season, so at least the
weather won't be a factor. What does concern me, though,

(50:13):
is that the Texans are going to be well rested
having come off a bye. You've already mentioned it, so
you can see a scenario where they are much fresher
and a fast start for them is highly possible, although
you just don't know. As you've said, overall, on paper
this is going to it says it's going to be
a Houston win. But the Dolphins of that belief and

(50:33):
that intensity you have on display when playing playoff football,
and that is essentially what they're doing now. Every game
is almost like a playoff game, and Tour is playing
great at the moment. He's in top form and you
need that level of play, that inspiration, and that leadership
to continue to have a glimmer of hope. If you
offered me now the chance to win the game and

(50:54):
the last drive of the game, I'd take it. We
have the players in form to do that, so I chances.

Speaker 1 (51:02):
Absolutely. We hope it doesn't go that far. But if
it does, just go to come out with a win.
It's all the mass.

Speaker 4 (51:08):
Yeah, not so much of a weather watch though. This
week is the league because as I just said, we're
playing in the Dome.

Speaker 1 (51:14):
We are playing in the Dome. Although it does have
a roof that opens, doesn't it. I think they do
play with the roof open sometimes. Not very old. Yeah,
they do, just not very often, I believe. I think
it's quite rare. But it does have a roof that opens,
not the stagecord. Now it changed. I think it was
NRG Stadium in Texas.

Speaker 4 (51:31):
Yeah, I don't know what.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
It is in Houston. But where can we watch the
game site? I say that because I'm just bringing up
the rest of the schedule.

Speaker 4 (51:40):
Well, we know we can watch it on game Pass,
But in terms of the games that Sky are looking
at I'm not you're going to tell me whether they've
selected the game yet for the six o'clock slot. But
there's not a great selection to choose from this week,
is there? In the early games? It's possible given the
playoffs sort of stake for kind of both teams. I
wonder if the Sky choose the Dolphins this week.

Speaker 1 (52:01):
Yeah, So I was looking at this earlier because I
haven't seen anything from NFL UK or or from Sky yet.
Just double check in as we speak. Nothing yet. But
I was just looking at the early games, and I
think that this last week I said there was no
chance of us being on there because of the matchup,

(52:22):
whereas this week they think there is a chance we're
on Sky. I'm going to read out the games to you,
so I feel free to tell me when you feel
like there is a game with more importance. Now, Also,
we know that that's not necessarily an option for Sky.
Sky get given a selection of games they can choose from,
not the entire slate, but we don't know what that is,
so we're going to ask for the entire slate. The

(52:44):
first kickoff is the Dallas Cowboys traveling to the Carolina Panthers. No,
the Kansas City Chiefs traveling to the Cleveland Browns. Yeah,
maybe the Browns are kind of fun. They're kind of
exciting to watch, aren't they. They're causing teams a lot
of trouble, but yeah, it's fine, aren't they. Yeah. That
is the twelve and one Chiefs against the three and
ten Browns, and the Chiefs have already won their division,

(53:06):
and I'm guessing we're going to see plenty of them
come playoff time. And then obviously the next one on
the list is Dolphins at the Texans. And then you've
got the three and ten Jets playing the three and
ten Jags. I mean it has certainly has a draft
pick implications. I don't know as they want to go
there with four weeks ago, but definitely does. And the
eight and five Commanders go on the road to New

(53:27):
Orleans to play the five and eight Saints. Could be
could be interesting, although the NFC teams have a lot
of wins and ThEC the teams in the playoff race
at the moment. And then we have the eight and
five Ravens playing the two and eleven Giants.

Speaker 4 (53:49):
And doesn't appeal That doesn't appeal.

Speaker 1 (53:51):
To And then the last one I've got to offer
you is the five and eight Bengals traveling to the
three and ten Titans. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
If I were Sky, I'd picked the Dolphins and the
Texans because that's clearly got the most at stake for
both teams.

Speaker 1 (54:03):
Yeah, it's got a good quarterback matchup as well, hasn't it.
CJ Strrden two tang of lower good crowd pullers. They've
also had the Bengals on the last few weeks. Obviously,
they were on Monday on a football this week, but
have been on a few times, so I don't know
if they want to change it up. Obviously, the Dolphins
are on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (54:21):
All the good games are on the latest slot because
you've got the Colts at the Broncos. You've got the
Bills at the Lines, the Steelers at the Eagles, all
of which are on that late slot. So the three
best games of the week are probably later in the evening,
aren't they.

Speaker 1 (54:35):
Yeah, that's it, And I mean even the Buccaneers the
Chargers is you know, that's charges for going for a
playoff spot. Buccaneers still trying to get to lead of
the division, I think, although leading the division now, same thing.
Do you know what I mean. It's yes, it's an
interesting late slater games. And so I was having this
conversation with someone the other day, how do you like

(54:58):
to take in your football when you're not watching the
Mima Dolphins play? How will you watch that late slate?
Do you like to pick a game or watch red zone?
Or do you like to go to bed just with
comfort of knowing that the Dolphins have won a football game?

Speaker 4 (55:10):
Red zone is my choice really if the Dolphins are
not playing, I like to keep I like the fast
paced intensity of red zone where you've got constant action
following everything at once. So yeah, that's that's my choice.
What about YI? Are you a red zone person or
do you like Scott Hanson or you do you just
pick a game and choose it.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
I like Scott Hanson. I like it when he's done
commentary and stuff in the past. I just can't get
into red zone. I have to watch it. I need to.
I need to feel the flow of the game and
see everything that's going on. Once I get to the
red zone, that's cool, but I need to really know
how they got there. I need to know where the
momentum is not just yeah, I just need more I

(55:51):
need to fill the flow of the game. I also
very much prefer to see the start and end of
a game. I struggle a little bit more as well
when I turn a game on halfway through to I
feel like I've missed some of the information that I need.
I know, the scoreboards there and stuff, But yeah, I
prefer to watch the game in this entirety.

Speaker 4 (56:08):
So you can't get into the red zime, Let's keep
everything cross that the Dolphins do get into the red
zone on Sunday. So how absolutely, how about you take
us homely absolutely.

Speaker 1 (56:19):
That being said, don't forget to vote for your Miami
Dolphins players to get into the Pro Bowl this week.
There is all sorts of ways to vote, but go
on social media. They're they're the team of pushing them
all the time. But let's get some of these guys
to the Pro Bowl. I think there's definitely some worthy
performances on this team. And check out the Dolphins social
media channels for all their content. Check us out on

(56:41):
x and Instagram and TikTok and everywhere WhatsApp. Group come
and talk to us. But other than that, is that
us done? So I think it is so until next
week fingers crossed for another Victory podcast next week Big
