Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome into a Week two Giants Hangout, brought to you
by Crestaurant madelein Burke, joined by Russ Salzburg, Jonathan Casias
and Matt Sietek. Guys Week two turning the page. Week
one is in the books, but we got to take
a moment to at least acknowledge what happened out there.
Giants fell to the Commanders in the season opener. Russ,
what's your takeaway from that one?

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I was just light out dumbfounded by what I saw.
I didn't expect it. I don't think anybody expected anybody
involving the Giants. They just need to improve, quite frankly,
across the board. The biggest things that I saw there
was no surge from the offensive line at all cases
point first and goal at the one. You need to

(00:38):
do that. You need more than six points, You need
less drop passes.

Speaker 3 (00:44):
It just listen.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
When you lose fourteen six, and you lose the way
they did, you don't go crazy. You don't make get
nuts and make all kinds of changes of what people
are calling.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
For, which to me is just stupid.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
But you have to regroup and bounce back, and bounce
back on a hurry but want to be.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Fair, twenty one six was the final score, but it
was okay six in the fourth quarter, so it could
have been.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Yeah, could it would have?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Should have?

Speaker 3 (01:08):
You know what? That that just gives you headaches.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Could it would have?

Speaker 3 (01:10):
Should have?

Speaker 2 (01:11):
Doesn't get it done. You have to go and play
the game. I was saying, fourteen to six. You know
what the best played the game was for the Giants.
It was fourteen to six. They had the Commanders had
third and one at the forty nine yard line. It
was either late the third or fourth quarter, I don't remember.
And it was a short pass to Deebo Samuel and

(01:33):
Drew Phillips made the team when he grabbed them and
threw him around. I see you're shaking your head, Jonathan.
To me, that was a big time play. Huge But
other than that, we weren't seeing big time plays. And
that's what you need to see.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
Causee this was your takeaway.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
And Russ, I mean I got the same points for you.
For offense, literally the first thing I said was establishing
Atlanta scrimmage as an offensive line. And to me, I
saw a couple of things like the gold line situation
you were talking about with Bo, the one, he was
turned around, he ran, the running back ran right into him.
His alignment was wide. And you know, down down there

(02:12):
in the red zone, especially in the low red and
the tight red zone, all the details, all the inches
truly matter. So one of my things I had was
details not just for the offensive lineman, but for the
receivers and for the tight ends as well. And I
also have on my list catch the damn football. Gotta
be able to do that, you know. And I love
the league neighbors, just like we all do. And I

(02:33):
think it was a non play, but he dropped the touchdown,
but like it was in his hands, he was in
the end zone. I don't think the play county. It
was a penalty or something like that. And body language,
that was the thing I took from the first game,
because it's like, no matter what happens during the game,
there's gonna be losses, there's gonna be wins. You need
that body language to be there, not just for yourself

(02:53):
but for your teammates. Right and on the defensive side
of the ball, I saw a lot of gap integrity issues.
Like it wasn't about the Giants getting pushed around, it
was that guys were in the wrong gap. A lot
of motions with Deebo Samuel McLaurin comic messed up the
gap integrity, especially from the defensive backs. And then I
think the number one takeaway from every single game until

(03:14):
we start seeing it is the Giants have to create
takeaways on defense.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Yeah, we saw one almost Cordell flat had the ball
kind of bounce off his hands. He almost got it
early in the game. But it almost doesn't get you
the takeaway side takeaways from this game.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, I mean on the offensive side of the ball.

Speaker 5 (03:31):
And coming off of a preseason where the Giants scored
over thirty points in all three games. It was totaled
one hundred and seven points. You know, that was the
most they've ever scored in the.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Y'all gotta throw the preseason away, guys.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
The execution was there.

Speaker 3 (03:47):
With the regular season guys, no.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
Different games, but they were executing down the field.

Speaker 3 (03:52):
Yeah, with vanilla defenses cover two, cover three easy.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Vanilla is a flavor two.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Like that one.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Look, there's a reason why preseason record does not count
for your final record. I completely agree with you, JC,
like it doesn't really matter now, and we clearly saw
that because it didn't.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Carry over into Week one.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
And you know, you could point to, you know, a
wide variety of different areas as to why it didn't work.
For me, one of the biggest ones had to be
the offensive line. You guys touched on it. They just
in the run game, there was no push at all.
You know, Russell Wilson felt like he was it seemed
like he was like under attack every other play. You know,
that definitely needs to improve. And I think Washington's defense

(04:33):
was a little bit overlooked going into that Week one matchup.
I think they do have a talented defense led by
Dan Quinn, who's a defensive minded head coach. And then
on the other side of the ball, I feel like
this has been you know, the defense is Achilles heal
for the last couple of years.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
You got to stop the run.

Speaker 5 (04:49):
And I know this Week one game against the Commanders
with Jayden Daniels under center, and he is one of
the toughest quarterbacks to go up against because of his
dual threat ability. You know, he was the second rusher
for the Commanders. Not every week are the Giants going
to go against a team that has a quarterback that
can run like that. However, two hundred and twenty rushing
yards allowed. That's way too much, almost seven yards of

(05:10):
carry you. This week, the Giants are going to face
the Cowboys team who averaged over five yards of carry
against a good Eagles defense, So that run defense needs
to step up.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
You know, are the pass rush talked at length the
last couple.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
Of months about how you can't get into those third
and long passing situations unless you win on the early downs.
The Giants didn't do that too much past weekend. They're
gonna have to do it this weekend.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
I mean credit to the Giants defense though, for getting
after the quarterback, like you mentioned Jade Daniels, such an
elusive quarterback. Three sacks on that guy is nothing to
scoff at, especially for a pass rush that has a
lot of hype coming into the season. But you're right,
the run defense has to be better and the run
offense has to be better. Like Russell Wilson leaving the
Giants and rushing with forty four yards probably not what

(05:54):
you want to see on a week to week basis.
You got to get the backs going, You got to
pound the run game, establish the run so that the
offense can get opened up, so you can put some
points on the board. But you know what, let's turn
the page because we've got another division game in Week two,
taking our talents down to Dallas to take on the Cowboys.
Sidetag What are your early predictions or takeaways? What are

(06:14):
you focusing on when you look at this game Giants
Cowboys in Week two?

Speaker 5 (06:19):
Yes, so the biggest thing for me is probably how
are the Giants going to match up against the Cowboys offense?
Because I don't think there's any doubt about it. After
the Cowboys traded Michael Parsons, their offense is going to
be the unit that carries that team to any level
of success that they have this year. The defense, We'll
see how the Cowboys defense turns out, but they have

(06:40):
one of the top wide receiver duos between Ceedee Lamb
and George Pickens. They have a very talented pass catching
tight end and Jake Ferguson.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
You know, they're running backs.

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Who a lot of people overlooked going into the season,
showed some signs of life against the Eagles last week.
So how the Giants can match up against this Dak
Prescott led offense. You know, how they can pressure him,
make him feel uncomfortable in the pocket, force him out
of the pocket. That's going to be the biggest thing
to watch for me this weekend.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Well, you mentioned the receivers that we saw on Thursday
Night Football in their season open our Ceedee Lamb had
a little case of the drop season all that we
can't expect that weekend in week out because he is
How do you kind of focus on hampering that Cowboys offense?

Speaker 3 (07:21):
I mean, look, they're explosive, man, and let's be real
about this. When Dak's healthy, this offense is rolling. You know,
they've proved that year after year. Ceedee Lamb is one
of the best, one of the greatest receivers in the league.
One of those drops, he turned that to a catch.
They beat the Eagles on opening night. They're they're a

(07:41):
tough out on offense, you know, uh, bringing in pickings
and also what they do with Turpin' right. They they
found their new running back in Javonte Williams Miles Sanders.
You know, he's been in the league for a while.
He's approven entity turping. He's like their gadget guy. So
he could be a threat in the passing game where
I see him affecting the Giants big time is is

(08:02):
the edges of the defense on some of these run
plays that they like to get him get, like to
get him involved with. And the Giants have to have
better gap integrity like I talked about from the Commander's game.
And look, we gotta see these young players for the Giants,
these second year guys, the Neighbors, the Theo Johnson's, the
Tyler Newburns, the Drew Phillips. They can't play like rookies anymore.

(08:23):
We can't keep saying, hey, all right, they're rookies. They're
making mistakes. They're not rookies anymore. They're in their second year.
They can't keep doing the same type of thing Dallas
with their offense. They're so explosive. They want to get
to the perimeter because they know what lies on the
inside of that defense. Dexall Lawrence is there. And I
don't know if you guys watched the All twenty two,
Dexiah Lawrence was doubled on almost every single play last game.

(08:45):
That's why you had Burns have the game that he had.
And that was one of my takeaways from the Commander's game.
If Brian Burns Cavon, Thibodeau, abdu Carter, these guys that
are gonna get single blocks because Dexah Lawrence demands the
double team every single play. The guys have to win
one on ones to create different situations for this offense.

(09:07):
If this offense is a rhythm, they have the athletes
on the outside that can create a lot of problems
for the Giants, so I look for them to stifle them.
They found their new running back in Javonte Williams, and
then offensively, get some type of rhythm, going, establish some
type of rhythm, going maybe get the blow of the
Elite Neighbors a little earlier in the game a couple
of times, so we have a little bit better body

(09:29):
language from him as the game progresses along. But I
really want the Giants to establish to run and do
a good job in gap integrity against the Cowboys, because
the Cowboys they showed that there's something to be to
be wrecked with this year.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Well, and you mentioned how Dexter Lawrence was doubled against Washington.
Of course that combined with the fact that he was
on a snapcount, really affected the defense. But Elite Neighbors
was also doubled by Washington's defense as well quite a
few times. And I think to your point, if you
established the run early and you get different elements of
your offense going, then you can't zero in and put
all of your eggs on covering Molik neighbors in that

(10:06):
in that essence, but Russ, what are you focusing on
in this one?

Speaker 3 (10:09):
Listen?

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I agree with what Jonathan just said. It's grow up
time for a lot of guys. You know, you're not
rookies anymore. You got to start playing. You know, you
can talk about elite neighbors. But I saw THEO Johnson,
who I'm very high on, last week. I said I
expect a breakout season. He dropped a couple of easy balls.
I mean, you can't be doing that. But you can
talk about the young guys all you want. I'll go

(10:32):
with what I said to open your offensive line. You know,
you can talk about young guys, but your offensive line
are made up of veterans. They need to play better.
I need to see across the offensive.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Line and needs to be better.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
I need to see protection for Russell, and I need
to see a surge on short yardage plays. And we weren't.
We didn't see that that has to improve because if
you improve on that, then you're not in those third
and long situations, and then you have Russell Wilson and
a chance to hook up with Eliite Neighbors or Darius
or you know, had a very good game. We're not

(11:05):
talking about it. Wandel Robinson had a very good game.
I'm expecting more of that from him this season.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah, you mentioned the short yardage too. I know, Cassius
that you're anti talking about the preseason, but one thing
we did see quite a few times in the preseason
was that screen game was working. Those screen passes were
working well, and we didn't really see the Giants offense
utilize that as an option against Washington. We'll see how
that kind of shakes out. And I think it's how
we play a different game.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
Russ.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
I know you got a little trivia for us this week.
What's up your sleeve?

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Yeah, well it's you know what do you know? What
do you say?

Speaker 3 (11:37):
And listen.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
We're playing at Jerry's World this weekend. And people might
not remember, but the very first game played at Jerry's
World involved your New York Football Giants when they beat
the Cowboys back in two thousand and nine. By a
score of thirty three to thirty one. So my question
to you for you guys today is this, four guys.
Four players scored points for the Giants in that game.

(12:01):
I mean, it'd be great if you can name more
than one. But I'll go to each one of you
and no looking at any phones or anything. Give me
a player who scored points in that game. There are
four men. Give me a player who scored a point
in that game.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Eli Manning, No, let's go to the next. He signed
the wall, okay Amani tumor plexical.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Birds mob Brashaw, I.

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Was gonna go Bradshaw.

Speaker 2 (12:29):
No, how about this for a you put your thinking
caps on? How about this for a hint? One guy
who scored points has the same initials as the greatest
giant in history.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
Oh lt uh.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
Hello, there's all right.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Now give me somebody.

Speaker 3 (12:52):
Else, Brandon Jacobs. No, really, two of them are receivers.
Steve Smith. Ingo, there's one.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
All right, you got your thinking cap on. Now the
next one, I'll give you his initials eminem And it's
not Mickey Mantle.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Hello, yes, hello, Hello.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
To get the fourth one, nobody a defensive back.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Core Webstern, No, No, was he on the team.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
In all, I forgot. I didn't even remember this guy.
His name is Bruce Johnson. He was with the Giants
for two years. He scored on a thirty four yard
interception return. If he came up and kissed me on
the cheek, I wouldn't know who he is. I comply
forgot about him.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Okay, okay, okay, but you guys.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
Did okay, you know, little little little tips you did.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
We appreciate the We appreciate the hindstarre there.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
What do you say?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
What do you know?

Speaker 3 (13:56):
What do you say? We'll get you next time?

Speaker 1 (13:58):
All right, So wait to summarize the very first game
at the new stadium in Dallas. The Giants won. Mario Manningham,
Lawrence Tynes, Keem Nicks.

Speaker 3 (14:10):
Where do you come up with? You Smith? Steve Smith?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
I'm his name of people?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Now, well, Maddeling, I get it. A Keen Knicks and
Steve Smith's. That sounds close. Easy to make a mistake
of taken for each other.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Never mind, who needs the summary of this segment. Let's
keep it moving. Let's get some barbecue draft going.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
Oh yeah, all right, so all right, now it's going
to be we're drafting some barbecue plates over here, because
of course, Dallas, we're talking barbecue, we're talking food.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Why not. Who's the number one pick? We forgot to
talk about this before the show, so we're doing it live.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
You got first pick, first pick. We're talking about the
Boys of God.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
All right, You got the number one overall pick on
your barbecue plate.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
It has be the staple of every barbecue slash cookout,
a cheeseburger, American cheese beef cheeseburger. Of course, one flip,
one flip. Any more than that, I don't want that
burger and the buns gotta be toasted. Number one pick

(15:22):
gotta be a cheeseburger of barbecue. Baby.

Speaker 1 (15:24):
Well, okay, I think you and I are thinking of
different barbecues because que hamburger, I amberg cheeseburg ends. I'm
going burt Ends over here. My tas up for the
number one overall was the pulled pork or the burt Ends,
And I was like, well, he's probably gonna take the
pulled pork, so let me go with the burnt ends.
When you went cheeseburger, well, well, this.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Is the thing. A barbecue doesn't mean you're only eating
barbecue food. There's a food that you barbecue on a grill,
like a cheeseburger.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
But Dallas is known for its Dallas Barbecue, which is
the point of the game. Sea's throwing the cheeseburger in there.
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Chee burger is number one for me at a barbecue.
You're talking about going to a barbecue, right, that's about.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Meeting the cuisine that is barbecue.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
If you were going to a barbecue in Dallas, that's
the first thing you would request.

Speaker 3 (16:22):
Yeah, because you know why, because everybody's thinking like you, guys,
and you only got the barbecue type food. I want
a cheeseburger.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
But if you go into like a barbecue restaurant, right,
like a place it's known for its ribs and it's
pull pork. Are you ordering a cheeseburger?

Speaker 3 (16:38):
No, but this is not a barbecue restaurant. This is
a barbecue. That's a different barbecue restaurant.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Draft, Jonathan, the barbecue is in Dallas. It's not in
Jersey City. Okay, I know you're a homeboy, but it's
not in Jersey City. It's in Dallas.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
That was good. That was good. I'll let you get
that one off. I'm still rock with the cheeseburger. You're
not changing, all right?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
Let me go with burnt ends. Then let me go
burt ends? Is my choice?

Speaker 3 (17:06):
Do I get a second choice? Here?

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Is it just me and you?

Speaker 4 (17:08):
All right?

Speaker 3 (17:09):
Go? Does it come back to me? So I get
the third choice? Right? You got the cheeseburger, got the
burn ends. I think you gotta have some type of
barbecue chicken. You know, the leg, right, the wings of
the breast, but the leg. You gotta have a leg,
a nice, healthy, you know, big legs. I don't want
the little small baby legs that came off the wing.

(17:32):
I want a nice leg, right. I want to grill
the right way with a nice barbecue sauce on it.

Speaker 1 (17:38):
I feel like we just got to get everyone involved here, Sidetech,
what's your first pick?

Speaker 5 (17:41):
I'm shocked that no one has said barbecue beef beef brisket.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Actually the beef.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Brisket that they make here in the area at the
quest Sidegnostics Training Center when it falls off the bone.
I mean that was easily my number one pick. I'm
shocked it has not been chosen yet.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
Number If it's not risket, how do you have a
barbecue and you know, especially in Dallas without ribs, plain
old ribs.

Speaker 4 (18:06):
Ribs second choice.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
See, these are all valid first choices because he us
has taken cheeseburgers and chicken legs off the off the port.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
But I'm thinking of runt office. That's your scouting because
what Russ said, I'm thinking when I say when I
think barbecue, right, I didn't think barbecue food, I thought cookout.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
But it's like when you walk into a barbecue restaurant,
they're not worried about what you're thinking about. They're worried
about what they're cooking. I'm into it though, all right,
I I gotta go with pulled pork as the next choice.
Bird ends and pulled pork. Those are my two faves.

Speaker 3 (18:44):
Oh, I got my two side tech gotta give us
one more.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
I mean my second was going to be like barbecue ribs,
baby back ribs.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
I'll forget about some of the side stuff like macachee,
about maka che corn cornbread.

Speaker 1 (19:03):
And mac and cheese are my two stars of the
plate on the side. Maybe a little Cole's laugh it's good,
but baked beans. Now we're just naming foods. This is
no longer a draft.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
This is just making me hungry for lunch.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
Free agents right there, guys, Yeah, we.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Gotta we gotta devour the competition in the cafeteria this week.
We'll see if they pull out the brisket and the
pulled pork and all that good stuff. All right, let's
play a little over under Week two Giants Cowboys. We
got three stats for you, guys. We're going to see
if you think that they're going to go over or
under these numbers. Russ over under one hundred receiving yards

(19:44):
from Elak neighbors.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
And I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say under. And that's
not taking a shot that he can't do it. I
just think the ball they're going to try to distribute
the ball, and as I mentioned earlier, I think you're
going to see a lot of one as well because
see us.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Yeah, I agree with Russ. I think defensively for the Cowboys,
they'll probably try to focus in on neighbors a lot.
Even though Wandell had a great week one. I think
you know, they understand, you know, they have their CD LAMB.
The league Neighbors is our CD LAMB, you know. So
I think when you play against a player like that, defensively,
you got to figure out a way to stop him,
and I think that'll limit his yards.

Speaker 5 (20:24):
All right, Matt, Yeah, I wanted to go over here,
but I have to go with under. I mean, the
Cowboys completely took out aj Brown and DeVante Smith in
the NFL in the league opener last week. You know,
they played a lot of two safeties high, just took
out the deep game. I think we're going to see
similar strategy for the Cowboys this weekend. I think they're

(20:46):
going to force the Giants to try to establish the run,
which hopefully the Giants will do it, and if they do,
then that'll open things up in the passing game.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
But I think one hundred yards is a little too steep.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
I'm going to take the over because Neighbors in Week
one at Washington, despite looking frustrated, had quiet seventy one yards.
And if you were to say, casually watching that game,
how many yards you think he had, I would say
or fifty, But no, he had seventy one. I could
see over he breaks off a big player. Two we
get there, link, I could see it for you. Let's
go defensively over under side, tack over under three sacks

(21:21):
for the Giants defense.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Oh, this one easy over.

Speaker 5 (21:26):
I mean, the Giants had three sacks this past weekend
against the Commanders, who I think have a sneaky good
offensive line. It's so much more improved from where it
was last year. With Laramie Tunsel and Josh Connerley as
the new tackles Dallas, they have a solid offensive line.
But I mean we saw what the edge rushers were
able to do, cause hee Us mentioned, you know, Dexa
Lawrence was double team nearly seventy percent of his snaps

(21:48):
out there, which set up a lot of one on
one situations. We saw Brian Burns take advantage of it
with two sacks. Kevon and Abdual split a sack. I
think we're going to see a lot more of that
on Sunday. I'm going over three sacks.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
I'm gonna go under. And honestly, it's a compliment to
that quarterback over there in Dak Prescott. I think he's
a very underrated quarterback, you know, and I think he's smart,
and when you play against smart quarterbacks, they don't allow
you to sack them. You know, he has a good
presence in the pocket where he steps up in the
pocket or slides outside. I wish the Giants would have

(22:22):
over three because I think if they can do that
to the Cowboys, they'll have a good out, a good night.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Defensively, Russ, Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with I'm
not taking anything away from from the Giants, but I'm
gonna have to go with the under because over three,
you're talking four and more and four. Yeah, I mean
that's that's a lot of sacks for any defense in
a game. I'll tell you what, if the Giants go

(22:47):
over three, book it now that they're gonna win your
book it now, they'll win the game.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
But I gotta go with under.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
I'm not saying they're not gonna win the game, but
four is a lot of sacks, many by one team.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
So I'm gonna go with under.

Speaker 5 (23:02):
They did just sacked Naden Daniels three times and Jamie
not the easiest quarterback to take down.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
And credits to producer Pearson for making it a tough line.
I'm gonna give it a push. I'm gonna say exactly
three sacks. You know, I'm making my own rules over here.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Easy way out there, Maddy, easy way out there.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
I think three is a good number it's my lucky number.
I could see them getting three sacks again in week two.
All Right, finally, we gotta get takeaways, right. That's been
a point of emphasis for Shane Bowen in this defense
with the turnover chess, because he is over under half
a takeaway. Basically, do they turn the ball over or not?

Speaker 3 (23:36):
They have to like this. This is the way they
win the game. They have to be able to create
turnovers and in order for them to win the game,
which I think they have a chance this week, even
though the Giants doesn't have don't have a lot of
success in Dallas, but I think this is the way
they win the game creating turnovers. So I think they
go over. Hopefully it's more than one. And if they

(23:58):
start doing more than one turnover, that gives the Giants
a lot more chances to win the game, give their
offense a couple a couple more possessions which they need.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Side tack.

Speaker 5 (24:10):
Yeah, I'm gonna go with the over here as well,
and I think it's gonna I'll take a step further.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
I think it's gonna come in a fumble.

Speaker 5 (24:17):
One of the safeties is gonna just punch the ball
out of after a pass catcher catches the ball and
Tyler Nuvin, Javon holland one of them are gonna punch
it out a nice little peanut Tillman punch, and the
Giants are gonna recover. I mean, as JC just said,
the guys need to force some turnovers in this game.

Speaker 4 (24:32):
The Cowboys offense is just too high powered, too good.

Speaker 5 (24:35):
Like the Giants are gonna have to turn the ball
over and set their own offense up with some good
field position. At some point, it's time to be a
damn pirate.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
Side tack. Colin is shot with a peanut punch. I
like it, all right, Ross, what do you got.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
Listen, We're not asking for a whole lot. We're asking
for more than half a sack. I'm gonna go. I'm
gonna go. I'm gonna go with the over, and I
think it's gonna come similar to what side tacked just said.
But it's not gonna come Well, it's gonna come via fumble.
But that fumble is gonna come via a sack strip sack. Yeah,

(25:10):
that's where I think it'll come from.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
All right, I could see it. I'm gonna take the
over on this. We saw a couple of moments where
the Giants almost had their hands on one in Week one.
It's been something they've been focusing on all through training camp.
That turnover chest is getting hungry for a ball. Put
it in there, right there, let's get over Let's get
one takeaway for these New York Giants defensively, all right,
I think that's it. Week two Giants Cowboys taking their

(25:36):
talents down to Dallas. Hopefully the travel is easier. I
know week one the Giants were sitting on the tarmac
for five hours before the plane took off to go
to Washington. So maybe a little bit easier travel day
will make this team look a little bit more together
on the field on Sunday. That's a wrap for Week two.
Giants Hangout brought to you Vy Crestaurant for Russ Salzburg.

(25:57):
Jonathan can see us and Matt Sytak I'm not a Burke,
will see you next set.
