Speaker 1 (00:00):
What's up everyone, It's week seventeen. Welcome to the Giants Hangout,
brought to you by Crestawn. My name is Madeline Burke,
joined as always by Russ Salzburg, Bern London and Jonathan Cassiis. Guys,
two more games left on the docket for the season.
But Russ, we got to break down what happened in
that Vikings game. What are your big takeaways for the
Giants lost to Minnesota?
Speaker 2 (00:21):
What do we takeaway? It was a mess every which
way you look.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
Listen, Madeline, you and I were sitting next to each
other and I was like, just dumbfounded. I mean offense, listen,
we saw the running game, but there was no passing
attack that was that. Still there were some drop passes. Still,
Darius Slayton with another drop. We all love Darius another drop.
But what kills me is the defense. I've said a
(00:45):
time and time again. There was a third and ten
they give up a first down. There was a third
and eleven they give up a first down. There was
a third and fifteen, they give up fourteen, and then
you know it's fourth and one.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
They scored that. They get a first.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Down there, and then late in the game, MC Madland,
you know, like it was, it was third and seventeen.
They give up twenty one. They're better than that, but
they're not showing it.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
They yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Well, especially you know, especially considering going up against the
Minnesota Vikings team that hasn't hello yeah on third down
this season, and causeie is you know, as a defensive player,
when you look at the fact that not just the
Giants letting these third down situations progress, but third and
long so consistently.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
What happened bad angles, those plays that Russ was talking
about earlier. I mean, justin Jefferson, if I'm not mistaken,
was responsible for two of those three, maybe all three
of them, I'm not sure. But it's bad angles. You know,
you got, you know, eleven defenders. When you're out there
and you're kind of on the edge, you have ten
other defenders inside of you, and if you take a
(01:49):
poor angle, you're just taking your whole team out, you know.
And I've seen that time in and time again, mostly
from the defensive backs, because those are the guys that
are on the edge and they just consistently take bad angles,
taking guys out. But there was some positivity there. The
Giants defense was all over the Vikings, right, you had
(02:09):
a you know, shrip sack touchdown. You had an interception
that was called back, but that was a pick six.
That was a beautiful play by Holland. And this is
what I've been seeing. This is what I've been wanting
to see from this defense. Yes, you might give up
a play here and there, you might give up a
third down conversion, but you're making plays. You're hitting the quarterback,
you're taking the ball away, you're scoring defensive touchdowns. This
(02:32):
is something that I wanted to see. So I did
see some positivity out of the game. It was a
very rough game to watch, especially offensively, but defensively they
kept this team in the game, scoring a touchdown, attacking
this offense from the Vikings the entire game, and this
is what I wanted to see. Things that hurt them
is the things that we've been seeing, right, penalties on
(02:53):
cruiser situations, giving up those third and long situations where're
supposed to be beneficial for the defense, the Giants into
opportunistic situations and they never.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Capitalize in it, right, you know, And it was like
they were in the game, of course, sixteen thirteen. The
final score was a tie game. Late but just not
enough to pull out the win. But you know, you
look at the Giants and the offensive side of the
ball in Brandon. You know, going into this week, we
heard Jackson Dart earlier in the week talking about how,
you know, the Brian Flores defense is chaos and it
can be a bit intimidating. You know, you saw the
(03:23):
way they called plays. They were really heavily reliant on
the run. You didn't complete a pass until almost two
minutes left in the second quarter. But the way that
they approached the offensive plan mixed with the way that
the defense was really stifling them, you know, how do
you get more out of the offense going forward?
Speaker 6 (03:41):
You know it's going to be hard, you know, because
if you look at that Giants offense and the way
they played, it was completely different than how they played
in recent weeks. I mean, you look at when they
had Jamis Winston that quarterback. They had well over nine
hundred toty yards of offense in two games. And then
you think about some of the successes Jackson Dart has
had within this offense.
Speaker 7 (04:00):
Argers game, the Eagles game, and even.
Speaker 6 (04:01):
In that Broncos loss, He's still throwing for two hundred
something plus, So you knew going into this game as
a wide receiver, as a pass catcher, you knew your
targets and opportunities were going to be limited. But at
the end of the day, like I've been saying, if
you're a wide receiver or a pass catcher on this offense,
you're not playing for fantasy stats.
Speaker 7 (04:21):
You might get three or four targets in the game.
Speaker 6 (04:24):
You got to make the best out of each and
every opportunity. So you got to keep your head in
the game, whether it's getting nasty in the run game,
picking a fight with somebody on the other side of
the football and the defense, just to keep yourself grounded
into this football game. So when that opportunity comes, it's
not something it's not something that kind of sneaks up
(04:44):
on you per se. You know they're going to be tight,
contested throws and windows throwing the ball on thirty long
or thirty long situations. So it's just a lack of
focus and a relapse and what these Giants pass catchers
have been able to do on the second half of
the season. And it's unfortunate, but luckily you've got, you know,
two more games to try and get.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
It right as possible, But you didn't want to put
that on tape at all.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
Mating right and starting of course with the Raiders. Next week,
Giants going out to Las Vegas taking on the Raiders,
two teams that right now are kind of playing for
that number one draft pick. Of course, that's not the
priority for the people on the field, and they're they're
figuring out how to get the offense going again. Russ
And when you look at you know, this matchup as
a Giants on the offensive side of the ball, what
(05:28):
do you want to see from them?
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Well, I want to see a balanced attack.
Speaker 3 (05:33):
So you know what we got last week was imbalance
for whatever reason it was. You know, they if they
thought that the running game was going early, Okay, yes
it was, but to.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Me it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
I wasn't surprised that they were going hard with the run,
but there was just it was in balance. I want
to see a more balanced attack on the offense and
from defense. You know, jac brought up a good point
before the defense kept them in the game.
Speaker 2 (06:00):
Okay, kept it close.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
At the same point, while the defense kept them in
the game, they didn't make the big play when they
needed to. Make the big play what I'm talking about,
And you heard the defensive players say it themselves after
the game. We gotta be able to get off the
field on those third and longs. You gotta make the play.
So I want to see that. Listen, you got two
James left in the season. You got two games to improve.
(06:25):
Don't talk about it.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Show me well, and especially on the defensive side of
the ball. A big challenge for the Giants this season
has been defending the run caseis and you know you
got Ashton genty real spark clug of a running back
who led the Raiders and rushing and receiving yards last week.
How do you slow down the Mike Myers stance man
over here?
Speaker 4 (06:47):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
Well, Gent's starting to come of his own, you know,
he's starting to come into his own.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
He had a huge game last week against the Houston Texans.
Speaker 5 (06:54):
And to be able to consistently push forward and play
better as the season moves on, as your team is
not playing better, as your team is not producing wins,
I think that's a testament to who he is. And
then Brock Bauers Man, he's a phenomenal young tight end
and the Giants historically has just not done well against
tight end, so the expected Giants defense to have their
(07:17):
hands full, especially with those two guys being dynamic and
Gino Smith, he hasn't had a great year. He's throwing
fifteen interceptions on the year, multiple games with multiple interceptions.
But when he's playing well, he's not at seventy five
eighty percent completion percentage. He's getting the ball to the
various receivers and the weapons that they have, and gent
is a full integral part of the offense. And brock
(07:40):
Bauers looks unstoppable at times because he's really that good.
So the Giants will have their hands full with this
offense like he had. A record doesn't show just like
the Giants, the record doesn't show how many athletes they have,
how capable they can be at times, and the Raiders
can be a capable team offensively.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
We can give the.
Speaker 1 (07:58):
Giants some problems when you look at this matchup too.
And I think from a fans perspective, when they're sitting
at home looking at the records and what's at stake
here that number one draft pick, I think fans are like, well,
let's lose the game and get the draft pick, But
I don't think a single player or coach or person
inside that building is focused on that. And Brandon, You've
been in a lot of locker rooms that have had
(08:19):
their ups and downs. How do you as a player.
You know, I've heard from Onondale Robinson and yesterday talking
about how you know, the focus is to prepare and
go on the field every week the same way. But
you know, how do you as a player kind of
stay locked in at this point in the season when
Giants have lost nine straight games.
Speaker 6 (08:38):
Well, the NFL locker rooms I've been in, we won
a Super Bowl and we were the Dolphins.
Speaker 7 (08:42):
We won the AFC ET so I've never really he'll
talk situation before.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Okay, what about in the CFL?
Speaker 6 (08:50):
Then I won a great Cup and we went to
the playoffs every single year. Talk yo, talk, let me chat,
GPT the appropriate your answer for this, because it's not
from experience.
Speaker 7 (09:03):
But no, you know, at the end of the day,
you still got to look at it. You're still a professional.
Speaker 6 (09:06):
You still realize that you're trying to put some stuff
on whatever you put this on tape. JC and I
think about myself being a you know, a practice squad
guy that Super Bowl year when I had I thought
I was going to have the opportunity to step in
for Sonora Smass, who I thought was going to go
on I all injury reserve, Whether I was going to
play special teams where I was going to get a couple.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
Reps at receiver, I'm be I.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
You realize you're being evaluated in the NFL. Now you're
rather you're playing for this team another team. There are
scouts from all over that are watching this game. And then,
like you said, Malan, our very own fan base as well.
The court of public opinion may not sway the decision
makers inside that building, but it does sway the vitual
(09:50):
and the online narrative that is painted about you, and
that can mess up your money at certain points.
Speaker 7 (09:57):
So you know, if it's.
Speaker 6 (09:58):
One thing, if you're my Jason, see if you're my
brother and we're going to put this helmet on and
we're going to go to football war together, I'm still
going to run that clear out route at two and
twelve or two or fourteen or whatever or owen whatever.
I'm still going to run that clear out route because
I know you do the same for me. So it
comes from and now it goes from all right, let's
(10:19):
try and get to one peed that you can't get
to the playoffs.
Speaker 7 (10:22):
But now you're playing for the pride now, so when you.
Speaker 4 (10:25):
And b you're playing for your career.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
You know, as an NFL player, you know at the
the end of the day, the NFL does stand for
not for long.
Speaker 4 (10:34):
And when you look at this team, specifically with the.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
Giants, right fired a head coach, fire defensive quator, another
fire coach, that means things are changing, right, you want
to be putting that good film out there, because the
great thing about the NFL is everybody watches all of
your tape, right All other thirty one teams are looking
at your tape, and you have to put good tape
out there, man, because when they start clicking in and
they see a couple bad plays, they're just going to
(10:56):
move on to the next player.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
And they don't have them a lot of time.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Lee.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
And the worst thing in the world is if you've
been putting some bad stuff on tape and now they've
drafted your replacement.
Speaker 5 (11:06):
Oh yeah, the writing's on the wall right there. By Well,
I'm scared.
Speaker 3 (11:11):
Excuse me, Like what you guys have just said, You know,
it's all about pride. And you talked about coaches being fired, Well, yeah,
people lost their jobs. So guys, it's now time to
look in the mirror, take a good look in the
mirror and say, where is my pride? Because people lost
their job, families were affected.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
What am I going to do about it moving forward?
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Well, and it's like that in the last Dance, Michael
Jordan says, there's always someone in the gym who's never
seen you play, right, You're always making a first impression
on somebody, and whether they're watching your film for the
first time or saying, Okay, what's this person up to now?
You want to be putting your best foot forward because
if that's the tape they pull up and they decide
to evaluate your talent as an NFL player, you want
it to be representative of who you are and what
(11:54):
you can bring to an organization. And I think a
lot of these guys, you know, yes, the team goals
have eluded them this season, right, but the personal goals
are still very much within grasps for a lot of
these guys, including Wandelle Robinson, who's just ninety nine yards
shy of his first career one thousand yard receiving season.
He's already got a career high interceptions. He's become the
(12:16):
third Giant in franchise history to catch eighty or more
passes in consecutive seasons, joining Odell and Victor Cruz. He
has been really stepping up in Lak Neighbors' absence. But
Brandon as a receiver, when you look at that thousand
yard stat on the horizon, you know he's also focused
on achieving that personal goal in he's final two weeks.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
Yeah, you got it, but you can't chase it though.
You gotta let the game come to you, because that's
when you when you feel like.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
You're you're almost there at the mountaintop.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Or let's say you're working out, you're on the treadmill,
you're in your last you know, four hundred meters and
that you.
Speaker 7 (12:51):
Crank that trev mill up and you go and sp
and you sprint it out.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
Football is not that type of game to where you
gotta go and you gotta go chase numbers.
Speaker 7 (12:58):
Your targets are going to be yours.
Speaker 6 (13:00):
Whether you get four or five the next x amount
of games, you just got to make sure you come
down with every single football that you can and do
something with it. So shout out to Wandell, who's having
the season that he he is having because he has
been the most consistent giant on the offensive side of
the football that we've seen throughout the course of this year. Man,
my man's catching flee flickers for touchdowns and all.
Speaker 7 (13:23):
So you know, he's he's been.
Speaker 6 (13:25):
He's been a positive to watch throughout the course of
the season. And again, JC, it comes down to, you know,
he's playing in that slot.
Speaker 7 (13:32):
If I got to run that clear out route.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
On that right side, on that on that side on
the outside, I'm gonna run as hard as I can,
knowing I'm not going to get the football knowing what
wan Dell has at stake if he eats.
Speaker 1 (13:45):
Yeah, and he's been saying to his teammates have been
telling him, keeping him posted on just how close he's
been getting all season two.
Speaker 7 (13:50):
That he knows.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
But we've seen that too, you know, like you said,
you got to stay focused on the play. I mean, Russ,
we've seen many times a player who you know, looks
towards the end zone before securing the ball and then
it's all of a sudden to drop. So how important
is it to stay focused on the moment right here.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
For the That's always the case.
Speaker 3 (14:08):
I mean, you know what it's like when they talk
about trap games in sports. Well, I don't care if
it's football or anything else. The minute you start looking
past what's in front of you, that's when it bites
you on the butt. You just got to stay focused
on the business at end. And you know, Mattalie, you
brought up a great point. I mentioned Darius before. There's
been far too many issues this year where they've looked
(14:32):
to go before they've secured the ball making the catch.
You got to it seems to have been a problem
with the focus and that all has to improve.
Speaker 7 (14:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
You another player who is having a tremendous personal season though,
Brian Burns got to give a hat tip to this man.
Fifteen sacks and counting this season. That's a new career
high for him. His previous career high was twelve and
a half through the season. That ties in with Michael
Strahan and lt for the seventh most in a single
season in Giants' history, and another half sackets into a
fifth place tie. But you know, when you look at
(15:05):
just how much Burns has been adding to the defensive
side of the ball. Paulson and Deebo talked earlier this
week about how you know coming in here. When Paulson
joined this team in the spring and met Burns and
saw the way he works, it was absolutely no surprise
how much he has executed on the field because he
is what are you seeing from Burns and this tremendous
(15:26):
growth that we've seen from him in productivity this season.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
I wouldn't say growth because he's always been a great
player in the NFL. Last year, I feel like he
was on an injury report every single week. He would
start the game with something and leave the game with
two bore injuries. Now you're seeing him relatively healthy. I
think we've seen him go down a couple of times
this year, but he just plays the game with this ferocity,
this tenacity, this grit. No matter what's going on on
(15:53):
the other side of the ball, no matter what's going
on with his other fellow defensive players, He's just gonna
play his ball. You know, he's gonna be attacking these
offensive tackles if they're lining them, if they line him
up off the ball, He's bringing the pain whenever he
goes to a ball carrier. He's fundamentally sound. He barely
(16:15):
makes any mistakes. He is by far the best player
for the New York Giants, and what makes him the
best player is his consistency.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
He has been consistently doing these.
Speaker 5 (16:24):
Things the entire year, no matter what blocking schemes up against,
what time of offensive blocking, whatever's in front of him.
He's been playing sound football, and the Giants have asked
him to do more this year. This is the most say,
I think, probably his whole career that he's played off
the ball and be I've been watching this dude, because
every time he's off the balls, like why is he
off the ball?
Speaker 4 (16:44):
Why is he off the ball?
Speaker 5 (16:45):
He's moving and thinking just like an off the ball
middle linebacker, and that goes to show his intelligence as
a football player. Some people think that the defensive lineman
can't process, but you see a guy and Brian Burns
who's processing it for on the ball, who can basically
beat any tackle in the league, and then off the ball.
He's one of the better middle linebackers in the league.
(17:07):
And you just don't really see the combination of off
the ball, you know, on the ball type of play
from a defender. So he gets the Pro Bowl nod,
he should be All Pro. He's having that type of year,
and I sure do wish that he could have had
a chance to break that sack record for Michael Strahead.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
I mean, listen, there's still two games left. You can
stack them in these, but I mean the way that
Burns plays, whether he is rushing the passer, dropping back
into coverage, it just is incredibly effective on the defensive
side of the ball. We love to watch it. Giants.
Next one up, Giants Raiders, Sunday afternoon in Las Vegas.
(17:46):
But let's get a little trivia on this one, shall
we rest? What do you know? What do you say?
What do you got for us this week?
Speaker 2 (17:51):
What do you know? What do you say?
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Is this Madeline and everybody? The year was two thousand
and five. The place was Oakland. Okay it was we
seventeen regular season finale. Giants beat the Raiders that day
by the score of thirty one excuse me, thirty to
twenty one. Okay, three Giants in that game score touchdowns. Okay,
(18:13):
tell me who were the three?
Speaker 1 (18:15):
The year again two thousand five five, So let's go
victor No.
Speaker 7 (18:22):
Two thousand and five.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Before this was this was against This was against the
JaMarcus Russell Raiders. Right, I'm just thinking.
Speaker 7 (18:34):
Tim Tim Carter won them.
Speaker 3 (18:36):
Nope, Lord, shocky guys, I mean.
Speaker 5 (18:40):
Come on now, Amni tumor amigo.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Three guys scoed?
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Who did you say, diky barber peky Barbaro?
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Yes, on a ninety five yard run. That was one
of them.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Let's go tiky okay two thousand, Sante Schenko.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
No, this guy, one guy caught a big, big catch
for the Giants in the Super Bowl.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
No, Maria Manningham Mexico Burke seven, I was still.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
At Arizona State. Let's go and the last.
Speaker 7 (19:22):
Who's that?
Speaker 4 (19:26):
Brandon Jacobs?
Speaker 2 (19:27):
Hello, thank you very much?
Speaker 3 (19:30):
Boy?
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Oh boy, I thought you was that rough?
Speaker 4 (19:33):
All right?
Speaker 3 (19:33):
Well, well that being the case, let me give you
a chance to redeem yourself.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Can you name?
Speaker 3 (19:40):
Can you guess who scored the two touchdowns? Two touchdowns
for the Raiders that day?
Speaker 7 (19:47):
Ronald Curry?
Speaker 2 (19:49):
No, this this guy was a heck of a player.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Too, Tim Brown.
Speaker 7 (19:53):
Tim Brown was.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Done at five for sure, right, Hall of Famer? What position.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
Wide receiver?
Speaker 4 (20:06):
It wasn't Randy Moss? Was it?
Speaker 3 (20:10):
Wait?
Speaker 1 (20:10):
That's rand.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
I wanted to say that and I'm like, Randy Moss
wasn't in the Raiders in O five, but yeah it was.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
And finally, okay, who what throw? Who was throwing the
touchdowns for the Raiders that day?
Speaker 4 (20:30):
No? Gannon was done. Gannon was done.
Speaker 7 (20:34):
Harry Collins, Hell, thank you very much, folks.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
This was not your finest hour.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
I have a good job. They'll be with the carry.
Speaker 7 (20:43):
Collins.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
I was in my freshman year at Arizona State. I
think I was otherwise.
Speaker 4 (20:49):
Focused freshman year in Wisconsin.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
For me, let's go, let's go all right, Well, you
know what, the more you know, the more you learn.
Uh Russ Salisburg always bringing it all right, Let's get
a little over under action before we wrap this one
up heading into the Raiders game Week seventeen, over under
a takeaway from the Giants defense because see us, do
they get one or more or no?
Speaker 4 (21:14):
Yeah, I believe they do get one.
Speaker 5 (21:16):
I feel like, you know, especially last week when you
look at the Vikings game, man, they were this was
an opportunistic bunch, right, And I feel like these guys
on the back end and even Burns on the front end,
like they have a knack of kind of getting the
ball into their hands.
Speaker 4 (21:30):
Now.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
It wasn't like that early in the season, but I
feel like as the season has progressed, they were getting
a little bit more opportunistic. So yeah, I do see
this defense creating at least one turnover all right, Russ.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
I would say, also, you know, again we don't know.
I don't know everybody who's healthy this week going in.
Will find out more tomorrow, but I would say, yeah,
I agree.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
With JC, You're gonna get at least one.
Speaker 7 (21:53):
Yeah, Brandon, I'm with you. I'm with the over.
Speaker 6 (21:57):
Let's make the Giants defense sexy again. Time for sexy
Dexy to get himself a turnover, you know, I mean.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Dance is trending on social media. It's about time we
see a little bit more on the field out here.
Ye here for it. And I also think too, I'm
gonna agree with everyone and take the over just because
you know, the Giants are able to capitalize on generous
quarterbacks as they did last week with JJ McCarthy and
this week, I think Gino Smith he's had some turnovers
and given away now, so we'll see about that over
(22:26):
under seventy total yards from Tyrone Tracy Russ, what do
you think over under.
Speaker 2 (22:33):
Total or just rushing total total. I'm going over.
Speaker 1 (22:36):
Yeah, over, Okay, Brandon.
Speaker 6 (22:39):
Over, he's gonna have a buck twenty from from scrimmage
at least.
Speaker 1 (22:43):
At least oh wow, because he is.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
I'm going over as well.
Speaker 5 (22:46):
I think Tracy had the game last week, and you know,
he's coming into his own as a player. And don't
forget his receiving aspect that he comes out the backfield
the screen game and also the down a few throws
that hopefully we'll see this week.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Yeah, I mean, hey, I'm gonna take the over as well.
People are quick to forget this man was a thousand
yard back last season his rookie year. But of course,
some injuries earlier on this season and Cam skataboo is
Snding really kind of took the shine off there. But
Tyrone Tracy can ball. I can see him taking the over,
even with Devin Singletary spelling him at times. Yeah, I'm
taking the over on that as well. All right, over
(23:22):
under two and a half sacks from the Giants defense, Brandon,
what do you think I.
Speaker 7 (23:29):
Gotta go under on that one? I'll go under. I
think that Gino Smith is going to get the ball.
Speaker 6 (23:34):
Out quick because he understands how bad that Raiders offensive
line is.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
So I'll go under cause see us.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Hm, that's a good number. Two and a half is
a good number.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
I think the Giants will be a right around two
and a half, which is said two or three.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
Man, you know what I like?
Speaker 5 (23:51):
Man, I'm gonna go over You know what I've been
I've been liking a lot ab du Carter over the
center off the ball. Holy smokes, yo, He's beating the
brakes off these centers. I'm talking about spin moves, club
and rips, swim moves, just straight speed rushes, power, speed
to power, And I see him if they do that
(24:11):
this week, I see him at least creating one to
one and a half sacks himself, and then I'll give
Burns another one and a half sacks and let's get
Sexy Dexie into that party as well.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
I'm going over it.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
I mean, hey, listen, these defensive guys are really crediting
Chuck Charlie Bullen with the aggressiveness that they're seeing in
that past rush. So we'll see if he can eat Russ.
What do you think over under?
Speaker 3 (24:32):
You know what the two and a half, that half is,
you know, an iffy think, but I do. I agree
with jac I mean, Carter certainly has been coming on, and.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
You know, after being named to the.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Pro Bowl, Brian Burns.
Speaker 3 (24:51):
I see a pass rush, you know, and I think,
like I said to you, look in the mirror earlier,
and I think some of these guys are looking. I
know Burns is and Carter, after his missteps earlier, has
really rebounded. So I think they're looking in the mirror,
and I think I think they're gonna be ferocious coming
off the line.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
So yeah, I like going with the over.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
I mean, credit to producer Pearson for throwing out a
tough line there with two and a half. I think
that's a great number. I'm going to take the over
as well. Let's go three plus. Let's let's see it.
