Speaker 2 (00:31):
Happy Friday, Cowboys Nation, Welcome in the Girls Talk Boys
Talk presented by invisil Line in e SWBC Studio. I'm
no Cole Hutcheson alongside Brianna Aldridge, Christy Scales, Aisha Morrison,
Ladies was popping Good morning, how y'all doing?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
My God?

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Did it?

Speaker 5 (00:49):
I feel like you practiced last night.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
A little bit?

Speaker 6 (00:51):
He did?

Speaker 7 (00:52):
I did.

Speaker 8 (00:53):
I'm sure the neighbors appreciated that.

Speaker 4 (00:55):
I'm getting better. All right?

Speaker 2 (00:58):
We got some football to look forward to on Sunday.
Cowboys Eagles E been breaking it all down all week long.
But it's getting real now. Hopefully the Cowboys feel that
same sentiment, which I'm sure they do. Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:11):
We got a practice report though to go over Asia.

Speaker 7 (01:14):
But what all right? So Cowboys practice yesterday?

Speaker 9 (01:19):
Mallie Cooker was out of practice with a personal matter.

Speaker 7 (01:22):
Initially when I saw it, I was like, what the
heck is going on?

Speaker 9 (01:24):
Because he looked better, you know the safet, You're gonna
look better with him there today. ViOn Clowney with the
shoulder h slash neck injury was limited. Dante Fowler with
Dante Fowler was limited with the shoulder injury. Solomon Thomas
with the calf was limited. That's two days in a
row he's been limited. Dak Prescott was limited in Wednesday's practice.

(01:45):
He was full with a hip bruise that I think
that they mentioned. Tyler Smith with the knee was limited.
He was upgraded to full on Thursday. Donovan Wilson with
the elbow slash shoulder was upgraded to full from limited
on Wednesday as well. And then perry On Winfrey had
another full practice with that back entry that he is
coming back from off of i R. So that's the

(02:07):
Cowboys injury report. To start any comments, ladies, anything that
sticks out, well.

Speaker 8 (02:11):
Just good news that Solomon Thomas, who was a d
n P did not practice you know last week leading
into Raiders. That he's been limited all week? Is is
more and more positive sign?

Speaker 9 (02:21):
Are you ladies getting a beat on that? At all,
I wasn't here yesterday. Yeah, didn't talk to him yesterday.

Speaker 8 (02:29):
But the fact that he's getting some work on the
field and not just on uh, you know, chords or
working in the end zone with the with Britt Brown,
director of rehabit is a is a better sign.

Speaker 10 (02:39):
I was in the locker room. He wasn't one of
the guys who thought he was kind of in and
out of there. But same as Christie says, I mean,
even if he doesn't suit up on Sunday, it's still
a positive sign where we're at in the season. If
they can get a win, most likely you'll see him
the next the following week later.

Speaker 8 (02:54):
And then Dak said, Dak said, you know, it was
a deal with his hip. You know, he landed on it,
you know, and sore. But if this were not a
short week, if it weren't a Monday night game, and
this was more of a regular week, he likely would
have been able to practice on Wednesday.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
No, you just gotta be positive, or you gotta feel
confident about just the depth that they finally have though
at that position, because we couldn't be if their injuries
did happen the previous years. You couldn't feel good about,
you know, what they have going on.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
But so yeah, regardless if he does play or not,
I feel confident that.

Speaker 9 (03:29):
Those guys are Yeah, it's definitely positive with a calf
because I mean it's a soft tissue injury. When I
seen him on the injury when he didn't play last week,
I was like, I don't like that. We can go
over to the Philadelphia Eagles practice report as well. Lane
Johnson with the foot injury, with the Liz Frank sprain.
He did not practice yesterday. He is expected to not
play on Sunday. Kim Jurgen's their center. It wasn't concuct well,

(03:52):
he's in concussion protocol. He did not practice on Wednesday,
but he was upgraded to limited on Thursday. That's a
positive sign for that Philly offensive line. Miles Hinton, they're
a tackle. He's a backup tackle for them. He was
dealing was dealing with the back.

Speaker 7 (04:06):
He is full.

Speaker 9 (04:07):
Willie Limpkin, he's a guard slash center for them. He's
dealing with a knee slash ankle.

Speaker 8 (04:12):
He was full.

Speaker 9 (04:12):
And Jalen Phillips Day outside linebacker, newly acquired outside linebackers
dealing with a shoulder injury. He was limited on Wednesday,
but he was upgraded to full. So both teams look
fairly healthy going into this this game right now as
it stands right.

Speaker 8 (04:26):
Now, and so important with the three games in twelve days, right,
I mean, because this is a real gauntlet. It was
interesting because Jake Ferguson on his Thursday afternoon weekly call
in to one O five to three the Fan, the
Cowboys flagship station here in Dallas. You know, they were
asking him about, you know, the quick turnaround and things
you have to do differently in preparing your body and

(04:48):
what does he tell the rookies and things like that,
and he says, yeah, I was telling one of the
rooks that, yeah, you know, uh got the game Sunday
and then next Thursday, and then we play again the
next Thursday day. And he goes what He's like, yeah,
you know, like Sunday, Thursday, Thursday, two thursdays.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
Next.

Speaker 10 (05:09):
It's so funny to me, I guess they really think
that I want to know where my feet are?

Speaker 8 (05:14):
We do, we kind of, you know, we just get
so tired of hearing it and you roll your eyes.
Take them one game at a time. But literally most
players could not tell you who is on the schedule
like two weeks from now.

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Honestly, Yeah, they're just focusing.

Speaker 9 (05:29):
Yeah, they're taking out a lot of info during the
week su with like film and like being specific.

Speaker 10 (05:34):
But that's almost like I remember the Cardinals loss when
Dak was up there and he was like, they only
had two wins this season.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
I didn't know that.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
That's just not what they focused on.

Speaker 8 (05:42):
Yeah, because he's the Cardinals defense, you know, and and
studying that and you know what, that's good.

Speaker 11 (05:48):
Yeah, I guess that's.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Yesterday.

Speaker 7 (05:52):
She can't live like that, she said, I can't live
like that. I'll be thinking about the next week.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
I know.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
I sometimes do that, but sometimes don't. Off that stresses
me out a little bit, That's why I get it.
But no, we got a little bit more to talk
about Cowboys Eagles. We did break down the film. I
used to shout out to you, We looked ahead different
sides of the ball. But I want to ask a
question that we hadn't gotten to. What's a kind of
quiet underrated matchup that you feel the Cowboys have an

(06:21):
advantage on?

Speaker 8 (06:23):
Oh advantage huh, that's interesting.

Speaker 11 (06:25):
Quietly, Oh that's a good one quietly, Yeah, barn like an.

Speaker 8 (06:32):
Underrated matchup, you feel that, well, just you know, since
since they're not going to have Lane Johnson and it's
going to be Fred Johnson, then it'll be left in.
Of course, it's it'll be a rotation, but right williams Azerak,
who might you know? And especially if you put five
linemen down there at times it could be uh Osa,

(06:54):
right clowney. So I think that Fred Johnson is going
to get to see several different guys and that I mean,
I know that the injury to Lane Johnson isn't a
quiet thing, but that would probably be the biggest mis
mismatch right now going into the game.

Speaker 11 (07:15):
Yeah, I don't know if there's any quiet.

Speaker 10 (07:17):
I think that's what's going to make this matchup so intense,
is because there's not a lot of advantages, if you will,
when you look at what Philly brings, especially when we're
talking about their defense. But I will say the Cam
Jurggens concussion protocol limited and where he's kind of at,
I feel like that's something depending if he's out, that's
kind of.

Speaker 8 (07:34):
A big deal if you're sure. Since since now defensive
tackle is the strengths of the team in two weeks.
It's amazing.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
Well not to a parrot.

Speaker 11 (07:42):
That'll be a place where you're definitely looking to eat
if he happens.

Speaker 5 (07:45):
To be ruled out.

Speaker 9 (07:49):
I was trying to look into some numbers about it
because it's a part of the ball that we don't
talk about enough. Special teams and I know that Philly
in the beginning of the season was having issues with
their return They were having guys on and off. They
were trying to figure out who fit there. They tried
tanking Bigsby there when they brought him in. Dallas has
improved in punk coverage. You know, you got guys like

(08:10):
Mary clea foul and those guys coming downhill and tackling.
I wonder if there's something that Dallas can put themselves
in better position with with special teams coverage, because Philly
has kind of been abysmal on that side of the ball,
trying to you know, get positive yachders and set that
offense up. When you look at that offense, they're starting,
you know, close to their their own end.

Speaker 7 (08:30):
Zone and stuff. Often so starting field position.

Speaker 9 (08:33):
I think Dallas might have an advantage on the special
teams unit and coverage against Philly.

Speaker 8 (08:39):
But yeah, that's I mean, I actually have that for
one of my keys, although I will say that the
coverage units the last couple of weeks for Philly, particularly Detroit.

Speaker 9 (08:49):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, because that's why I was looking at
I was like, when you look at them at the
beginning of the season and you're like, I mean, well
to the last couple of weeks, You're like, what the
heckers they had that they have going on down there,
And I think they've been just trying to find steady
guys to fit in there. So yeah, I mean their
linebackers because they have so much depth at their linebacker spot.
They help out on special teams. So anyway, special teams,

(09:10):
maybe there we see something fluky or you know.

Speaker 8 (09:13):
Yeah, you're gonna have you're gonna have to flip the
field on this game. And I don't want to give
away or should we talk about it now, I mean,
because I'm just I'm just killing something. It is difficult
to move the ball against the Eagles, duh, Right, Although
the Cowboys did score on their opening possession in Week

(09:34):
one and then Javonte Williams the second of his two
rushing touchdowns was first play at the second quarter. In
the second half of that opener Week one, there were
only three points scored in the entire second half. But
the point is, we know that Philly's defense is stout,
and so the way that you have to do this game,

(09:54):
in my mind, is flip the field and you're gonna
have turpin. I'm sorry. The entire return game for the
Cowboys has been below average. I know you spark about
it earlier this week. It has been below average, and
it cannot be below average this Sunday, you and or
moving forward against these really good teams Kansas City, Detroit
and on and on. But if you can steal a

(10:17):
first down or two, I mean, think about it, instead
of getting a ball, you know, the kickoff going in
the landing zone and Cavante returning it to the twenty
four or the twenty eight. You know, a touchback will
put you at the thirty five. That's a first down
right there. But if you don't get the touch back,
if you can get a decent return to like the
thirty five, thirty six, thirty eight, that's like a first

(10:39):
down in half, if you want to think about it
that way. The other thing is stealing possessions right and
having the defense set up the Cowboys offense.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I know that.

Speaker 8 (10:52):
Takeaways, you know, I speak about it ad nauseum throughout
the season, but this time in particular, this has to
be the ultimate complimentary football game where special teams are
setting up your offense, but also the defense in terms
of stealing possession and putting the offense in a good spot.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
So, yeah, that's a good one.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
I went back to weak ones where you know Dallas,
of course their drives began and where they ended. All
their drives pretty much were either in so well twenty five, nah,
thirty one.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
Okay, so one of the.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Drives, of course, second drive started at the twelve, they
got to the one, of course touchdown. Second third drive
they got they started at the thirty one. The next
drive Dallas twelve, Dallas twenty nine, Dallas twenty six, Dallas eleven,
Dallas eighteen. So yeah, certainly not getting much there in
special teams. But you've gotten a lot of confidence though

(11:47):
in the way that this team has shown that they
can't drive the length of the field.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
However, you don't want them problems against.

Speaker 9 (11:54):
Fieling, Yeah right, yeah, because they're betting on you to
mess up and That's what a lot of the good
defenses do. I mean, there's something that finny defense is
really predicated over is making you have to be methodical
down the field. So, like Christy said, and every opportunity
that you can get extra yardage, she's broken down, you know,
the hitting yardage in the special teams game and how
it really affects both, you know, both of the other units.

(12:17):
I'm hoping that Dallas can you know, come out and
play better there in this game, because I do also
agree that I feel like Cavante Turpen's vision has not
been the same. You know, obviously the blocking, the penalties
and things like that. That unit has been kind of
up and down this season ladies.

Speaker 8 (12:34):
Mainly, yes, mainly up and down. Not a not a
lot of ups, more downs. It's below average, it is
when you're in the mid twenties. Yeah, I'm sorry when
I say below average, I mean statistically, you know, across
the league where the rankings are. So it's interesting though,

(12:56):
because with the two field goal kickers, you know, Jake Elliott,
he's his game winners, He's a good kicker for them.
They have only attempted fourteen field goals the entire season.
Excuse me, thirteen field goals ten games. Philly has only
attempted thirteen field goals in ten games.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
Why is that?

Speaker 8 (13:14):
Because they are number one by a lot in the
red zone. They score on seventy five score touchdowns on
seventy five percent of possessions in the red zone. That's crazy. Yeah,
you went the bad news.

Speaker 5 (13:30):
There's more.

Speaker 7 (13:30):
Go ahead, please say no, no, let.

Speaker 8 (13:33):
Me put it in a good way. The Cowboys red
zone defense has improved because it's gone from thirty two
to twenty nine, so now they're only fourth worst.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
In red ze.

Speaker 8 (13:43):
Ring to be funny, it's they're improving. Oh, you're right, yeah,
they're improving. But the point is that the strength of
Philly in terms of scoring touchdowns is a weakness of
the Cowboys defense. And allow the Cowboys defense through ten
games has allowed touchdowns on sixty seven percent of opponents possessions.

(14:08):
So they're giving up a touchdown two out of three times.
So yeah, he's like, man, what's up with Jake Elliott?
And why aren't they what's this low number of field
goals they can't get in field coal position? No, they're
scare touchdowns, they don't have to. Yeah, they don't have
to settle for it because they're going for it on
fourth down, right, Just keep matriculating the ball closer and

(14:29):
closer and closer and then ultimately punching it in when
they get in the red zone. So kudos to them.

Nope, it's the front Bullsey you bus.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
Sorry, we don't hit the talking clay take the edge
off very good.

Speaker 8 (17:41):
It's paying off all that Wow, all that practice.

Speaker 4 (17:43):
Man, I love that big girl for you growing up,
big girl boy.

Speaker 5 (17:50):
All right, bullseye or bust, you're.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Ready for number one? Yes, George Pickens finishes with over
one hundred and thirty receiving yards and a touchdown against
the Eagles.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
Yeah, I'm gonna go bus.

Speaker 10 (18:12):
It's a little excessive just because I think I don't
think Vic Fangio is going to allow that to happen.

Speaker 11 (18:19):
We saw it in the first game.

Speaker 10 (18:22):
Where he switched his number one corner from Pickens to
CD and then kind of slowed up CD a little
bit in that second half, So I just think Fangio
has a defensive mind where that's not going to happen.
But I do think he's gonna have a better game
than what we saw when he faced the Eagles. That
of course, that was his first game as a Dallas Cowboy.
Four targets, three catches, thirty yards. Yeah, he's definitely going

(18:42):
to surprise that number, but I don't think.

Speaker 5 (18:44):
It'll be that high.

Speaker 8 (18:46):
I'll go with a touchdown, but I'm with Bree. I
think one hundred and thirty is is hopeful.

Speaker 4 (18:52):
Okay, I mean I hope.

Speaker 8 (18:55):
I hope we're wrong.

Speaker 7 (18:56):
Hope that'd be nice.

Speaker 11 (18:57):
Let's go with be a fun locker room after for sure.

Speaker 9 (19:00):
Yeah, I'm gonna go bullsark because I think that that
Philly secondary opposite of opposite of Queenyan Mitchell. They're gonna
have to make some decisions and uh, I thought that
Mina brought up a really good Mina cons brought up
a really good point yesterday talking about the fact that
when they help, that's gonna open up space.

Speaker 7 (19:15):
There should be run after catch opportunity.

Speaker 9 (19:18):
That's where I think it could come from if they
do decide to try to take away Ceedee Lamb first,
or however they decided to do how you were talking about, Bree,
I feel like with them having to maybe roll the
safety over there, Pickings has shown that he can get
yards after catch. He's actually thrived in that, so maybe
some of that extra yardage comes from him being on

(19:38):
the fly. This is a great This is a really
good tackling team for Philly, but their safeties can't take
some bad angles and you know, get a little aggressive
because their aggressives out is Fangio gonna gonna target Pickings
and we don't we don't know, because at this point
in the season, who who gonna be?

Speaker 8 (19:56):
That's they'll start with for some I have.

Speaker 9 (19:58):
But then if they do that, then since how he
had over one hundred, he had close to one hundred and.

Speaker 11 (20:02):
Thirty last tenty hand he dropped the balls.

Speaker 9 (20:04):
So that's what I'm saying, it's gonna be. To me,
it's gonna be one of them. It just depends on how. Yeah,
I think one of them will have over one hundred yards.

Speaker 5 (20:14):
All right, bulls eye or bust. That wasn't very great.
Dallas holds Phillies run game to sixty five yards.

Speaker 7 (20:28):
As a whole. Woof, that's gonna be a bus for me,
a wild and no, no, that's gonna be a bus
for me.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
Don't tell, don't get a twisted day.

Speaker 9 (20:36):
Run game is mixed struggling, But I can't see it
mixed struggling that bad. I think Dallas is better upfront,
is and more equipped to you.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Know, stop their run.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Maybe under one hundred yards.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
They're averaging eighty eight on the road, so I don't know.

Speaker 4 (20:51):
I mean it's close, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 9 (20:53):
I think they can do under one hundred yards, but
sixty five if they do sixty five yards, maybe we
will jump on the table for.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
Yeah, I said, my god, Chris said, oh your Chris said,
this isn't a stable play.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
They don't need no loss.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
I like some some could hold couldn't hold on. But
I know because I'm this big, big dude. What you got?

Speaker 5 (21:24):
Did y'all say your thing?

Speaker 7 (21:26):
I said, say bust? That was easy?

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Cool already?

Speaker 11 (21:32):
Yeah, your turn, bullseye or bust.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
That's confident.

Speaker 7 (21:37):
I'm getting better at it. I'm not as scared on
the mic.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
I love that Quentin Williams records two tackles for loss
and two sacks.

Speaker 8 (21:46):
Oh, two sacks.

Speaker 7 (21:48):
Two tackles for lost and two sacks. In my mind
as bose sacks.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
Win.

Speaker 8 (21:55):
That is a good one because Jalen holds the ball.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
I know you.

Speaker 8 (22:00):
You been talking about it all week.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
You got a girl.

Speaker 8 (22:02):
Oh breaking down, Oh, break it down. Wow, the two
tackles youre lost for sure. I'd go with the two
TFLs for sure, one sack for sure.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
To you know what, give my half, he give me half,
give me half.

Speaker 11 (22:16):
One.

Speaker 4 (22:17):
It's gonna be up for debate.

Speaker 8 (22:18):
Okay, you know what. Heck, we're gonna speak it into existence.
Thank you, Nicole, What about you, Bree.

Speaker 10 (22:27):
I'm gonna go Bus just because I think they'll have
multiple sacks.

Speaker 11 (22:32):
I just don't think they'll come both from him.

Speaker 5 (22:34):
I think everybody's gonna eat it.

Speaker 8 (22:35):
Yeah, I agree with you.

Speaker 9 (22:38):
I'm gonna go Bus because I think it's gonna be
a collective effort and look for uh Donovan is Araku.

Speaker 8 (22:44):
Nicole, what do you have for that?

Speaker 7 (22:46):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (22:46):
I know you proposed the stuff, but we need to.

Speaker 15 (22:48):
I was gonna grow Bullseye bulls want and a half
sacks easily last week? Wait a minute, yeah, one and
a half sacks last week four tackles, one tackle for loss,
season high five pressures.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
That's easy for easy work, easy money. All right, did
you say Bus?

Speaker 12 (23:11):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (23:12):
I mean we just talked about Kim Jurgens. I mean
he's he's on the injury report. He is a little
bit banged up. So you know, if anybody can take
advantage of stuff like that, it is a Quinn Williams
and Kenny Clark love to have that problem.

Speaker 5 (23:24):
Your turn. Yep, yay, I'm want to piss you off.

Speaker 7 (23:32):
Bullseye or Bus, We'll take it. It made me feel
like a Disney Channel like, how you be doing.

Speaker 5 (23:43):
Like it was you don't watched Disney channel.

Speaker 11 (23:46):
Yeah, I just didn't get that from what I just did.

Speaker 7 (23:48):
Oh well, I love Disney.

Speaker 2 (23:50):
Okay, Okay, Dallas holds Philly to under seventeen points Sunday.
Oh wait, Dallas holds Philly to seventeen points, but they
only ever under or under.

Speaker 8 (24:03):
Yeah that's that's not far below of their season.

Speaker 7 (24:06):
Church, but get Dallas defense is not.

Speaker 11 (24:09):
They'll be playing games average quite yet.

Speaker 8 (24:11):
Yeah. Yeah, I think that's a little hopeful.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
I'm going bust.

Speaker 11 (24:15):
I think they'll get over twenty points.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (24:16):
I think this is gonna be a low twenties game
of teams.

Speaker 9 (24:20):
Yeah, I'm gonna go bust the just because I just
don't think that Dallas defense is there yet.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
Okay, fre me to about next one.

Speaker 8 (24:29):
Oh god, bullseye or bust.

Speaker 5 (24:34):
I don't know. Maybe it's just Friday. It's not working.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
Cowboys defense out sacks the Eagles performance. So like Cowboys
defense has more sacks than Eagles defense.

Speaker 8 (24:45):
You know what, I'm gonna go bulls eye. I was
about to say, yeah, bullseye, because Dak's gonna he's gonna
get rid of the ball. Okay, and unlike Jalen who
holds it, Dak gets rid of it. I mean we've
talked about it last few weeks. I mean even only
sacked twice but at Denver, but harassed habitually and able

(25:08):
to get rid of the ball. Affected, right, I mean,
I think he'll be affected on nearly every pass, but
hurried and hit but sacked. I think that he just
gets rid of the ball too quickly.

Speaker 7 (25:19):
That's fair.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
Even last week once I once I believe, but even then, yeah,
it was one sack last week.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
But I don't know.

Speaker 10 (25:31):
I don't trust them, but I guess that. I also
just watched Josh Allen take eight hits last night out
our eight sacks. I was like, what is going on
over there? But I will agree with Christy on that point.
I think Dak's IQ and what he's shown, he'll get
rid of the ball at least throw it away, you
know what I mean, escape it, rather than Jalen. But

(25:54):
it's just the it's just the Phillies defense. It's like
saying anybody's going to outdo them in anything, but I'll
take it.

Speaker 7 (26:00):
I'll take it.

Speaker 9 (26:02):
I'm gonna go bullseye too. I think you have better
help protection than Philly does. Right now, I don't think Philly.
I don't think Philly's tight ends have particularly been good
in past protection.

Speaker 7 (26:13):
When they've been asked to do it.

Speaker 9 (26:14):
This year, obviously, Dallas Goddard is their guy, but I
think he's more interested in catching the ball, and uh
Saquon Barkley has been underwhelming to say the least in
past protection. And and as on the inverse, Javonte Williams
has been fantastic in that department this year. So I'm
gonna say the it being a home game, guy's been rowdy.

(26:38):
Maybe there's some miscommunications with some of the stuff they
want to do. I think Dallas has the better help protectors,
So I'm gonna go.

Speaker 8 (26:44):
I'm gonna go bullseye, all right, bullseye or bust.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
Okay.

Speaker 11 (26:52):
I know she has a little flair on.

Speaker 7 (26:54):
Hers like.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Dallas holds Jed Brown to underfit the yard or is
that because of Dallas or is it because of.

Speaker 14 (27:06):
What the.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
They're like a toxic couple, They coordinators, they biggest h now.

Speaker 8 (27:15):
I mean they they obviously targeted him, targeted him frequently
and early last week, which I think they will do
again this week. So I'm gonna go bust on that.

Speaker 5 (27:29):
Okay, how many under fifty.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
I'll go.

Speaker 10 (27:39):
I think this is a team that got away from
going to Davante Smith, and I think my opinion, I
think that's who they should and will go too heavily.

Speaker 8 (27:48):
I think they're over the.

Speaker 5 (27:51):
Trying to make both receivers happy.

Speaker 7 (27:52):
They need to.

Speaker 10 (27:53):
They're also trying to win games and continue to win games,
and I think I think the OC needs to stand
on business and just give it to what's working.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
That's Davante Smith.

Speaker 9 (28:04):
I'm gonna go bust, but I don't think it's gonna
be too far off. Yeah, the Jalen is having to
throw into a lot of tight windows, a lot of
their a lot of their barnacles, their concepts, they're passing
concepts and route trees are not really married to each other.
There's a lot of stagnant type stuff. And I don't

(28:26):
really think that they're trying to I don't think if
the OC's trying to work guys open and things like that.
So for me, I'm gonna I think the way that
Dallas that they get the opportunity to kind of play
downhill the secondary how they did last week that they
they'll be okay, but I think it's gonna be more
than fifty, but not a lot.

Speaker 8 (28:43):
Well, can I just add one o their things?

Speaker 9 (28:45):
Uh?

Speaker 8 (28:45):
Aj Brown is played nine games. He hadn't done all
Tenny was inactive for a game I think three weeks ago,
maybe four weeks ago. Uh So, nine games. He's averaging
four point two catches per game and fifty one yards
per game.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
It's close.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
It's a good it's a good one.

Speaker 8 (29:01):
So Soe Nicole hit it right on the head there.
It's a good research on that.

Speaker 9 (29:06):
Do you think that if they get behind in the
game though, because we talked about that on here, is
that they kind of let them play a little bit
more freely when they're trying to come back in games
and stuff like that. So I wonder Dalla still has
to look for explosive plays and Aj can do that.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
That brings me to my next one.

Speaker 7 (29:22):
Oh Lord, bulls eye or bus.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
Sounds better.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
The Cowboys, Sorry, reword this, there's one full quarter where
the Cowboys shut the Eagles out.

Speaker 5 (29:38):
Zero points in one quarter for the Egals.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
Oh sorry, y'all.

Speaker 2 (29:45):
Yeah, one full quarter and Cowboys shut the Eagles out.

Speaker 8 (29:51):
But they did it in the fourth quarter of the opener.
They might have done it in the first quarter. Yeah, yeah,
that's true.

Speaker 7 (29:59):
Well they wouldn't it, And I don't know, that's just
one quarter.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
One quarter.

Speaker 5 (30:06):
You want me to say, hal, I feel those are nothing.

Speaker 8 (30:12):
I'll go first quarter, okay, whatever, whatever, I'll be, I'll
be the one.

Speaker 10 (30:17):
I love throwing all the chips down. I'm looking at
who else they facing, who else has done it, But
it looks.

Speaker 8 (30:24):
Like, yeah, they scored in the first three quarters in
Week one, and I know that's a different defense since then,
but they did hold them without a score and the
fourth quarter.

Speaker 7 (30:39):
I'm gonna go bust because I don't know what else
to do. But it would be I mean, I think
it would be impressive.

Speaker 8 (30:46):
Okay, hold them without a touchdown for sure, But but
you said score, So I'm over here cheating.

Speaker 10 (30:52):
I'm looking at other teams who have done it. Who
you see, Yeah, Rams, Rams did it, like everybody like
Bucks did it?

Speaker 12 (31:03):
No?

Speaker 11 (31:03):
No, no, it's all fourth quarter too, which is all
fourth Yeah, which is interesting. Okay, now I'm discovering something
and they just run out of gas.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
I guess.

Speaker 10 (31:14):
I'm not trying to hate, but I think Dallas defense
just needs a little bit of work. I don't think
they just yeah, I'm gonna go bus on it, cools,
bulls eye or.

Speaker 4 (31:24):
Bus.

Speaker 5 (31:25):
The Cowboys finished a perfect one in the red zone.

Speaker 11 (31:30):
That's a bus.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
On my camera, a little bus. I'd like to be wrong.

Speaker 7 (31:36):
But Christy last how close?

Speaker 4 (31:38):
How close?

Speaker 8 (31:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (31:40):
How close do they get it? Because if it's like
two three yards, I'm gonna be like, yeah, it's.

Speaker 7 (31:47):
Just easy one now, eh, it's gonna be bus for me.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (31:53):
The when their average in the red zone sixty one percent,
So that's thirteen frank thirteenth thick Cowboys offense, and so
that's going to be and the But the Eagles defense,
you think, oh Man vaunted, they're probably very stingy in
the red zone, literally middle of the pack, ranked fifteenth,

(32:13):
allowing touchdowns on fifty nine percent of opponents visits to
the red zone. So not as not as as stout
as you would think that that number did catch me
by surprise a little bit, to be honest, what are
you looking at?

Speaker 7 (32:29):
I don't get where she got I'm not.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
That's not the same thing.

Speaker 7 (32:32):
It's her that's her book.

Speaker 8 (32:35):
You know it's the same thing, is it?

Speaker 4 (32:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (32:37):
Yeah, her book just looks cooler.

Speaker 8 (32:40):
Yeah, yeah, it's just it's just got it's got a
little more, but it's the same. A lot of the
pages are the same.

Speaker 11 (32:46):
Try it's a good information bulls eye or.

Speaker 5 (32:52):
Sorry, bulls eye or bus Dallas.

Speaker 6 (32:59):
M h.

Speaker 8 (33:01):
Nicole's working the glasses this time.

Speaker 5 (33:03):
Dallas creates two turnovers against Philly.

Speaker 8 (33:08):
Your lips to God's ears. No, that's again when I
said in the first section, you have to steal a
possession or two and the defense you have to pay
play complimentary football on Sunday against a team like Philly.
That's so so good. Two is a lot, though, Yeah,

(33:37):
that may be ambitious. Yeah, one against the Raiders. It's
there were zero. There were zero by the Cowboys in
Week one.

Speaker 7 (33:47):
By the way, you gotta stop.

Speaker 5 (33:48):
It's a no for me.

Speaker 12 (33:49):
Now.

Speaker 7 (33:50):
Uh, I'm gonna I'm gonna say, bust.

Speaker 9 (33:54):
I'm really I wonder I'm predicting at least one turnover
on downs. I'm not.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
I don't. I know it's gonna be hard with the two.

Speaker 8 (34:02):
If you do turnover on downs, I'll go with that.
But you mean interceptions, Yeah, yeah, he can care. They
only have four turnovers because they only have four turnovers
in ten games. Jalen Hurts has thrown one interception. Okay,
so all this stuff about he holds the ball and
there's meat out on the bone, you know, it's not

(34:23):
turning it loose and so many yards left out on
the field all true, But Philly does not beat themselves
and Jalen doesn't turn over the ball. So and guess what,
They're eight and two.

Speaker 9 (34:38):
So if you get something you gotta, you gotta. It
can't be like a turnover. It gotta be a take
away very much.

Speaker 5 (34:44):
For she's so chill.

Speaker 11 (34:46):
It's like his whole locker room turns on him and
he's just chilling.

Speaker 7 (34:49):
Maybe that's why killing.

Speaker 4 (34:51):
But they turned on him.

Speaker 10 (34:52):
They had these samelike problems last season, and they just
happened to win the whole goddamn thing. So I wouldn't
care either because I'm winning.

Speaker 5 (35:02):
Ression I followed.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
That scream last one bullseye or Bus Pickens has more
receiving yards than the entire Eagles wide receiver room.

Speaker 4 (35:15):
You so, petty, Oh wow, that the whole.

Speaker 7 (35:21):
Is hilarious, petty, m the whole.

Speaker 9 (35:24):
They ain't been doing that much, so that's why she
coming up with these numbers, but they have been playing
really good defense, and so it's kind of like an illusion.
I mean, they look rusty and dusty offensively schematic wise,
but God, that one's hard. I'm gonna I'm gonna say yeah,
I'm gonna say no.

Speaker 7 (35:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (35:47):
I think that they collectively are gonna wake up for
this game. The Eagles, I think they're gonna wake up
for this game.

Speaker 11 (35:52):
I don't think they like everybody wakes up when they
played the Cowboys.

Speaker 7 (35:55):
Of course, we're not like.

Speaker 4 (35:56):
I don't think that they're gonna like flip a script.

Speaker 9 (35:59):
Philly is a moment and some team, as they build
momentum during the game, you can kind of feel it
they can take the eart out of a stadium. I
hope that Dallas would like e being like you mentioned
the other day, is that yesterday that you know, it's
the first game home game with Marshan being gone, you
know all that stuff. I hope that that energy kind
of resonates through that because if they get some momentum,

(36:19):
they can really, you know, maybe make some explosive places.

Speaker 7 (36:22):
I'm gonna go, know, boll bus, go bust.

Speaker 2 (36:27):

Yeah, that means a lot.

Speaker 8 (39:15):
Man, You're gonna have to do a holiday version of
that coming up, you know, like through the after Thanksgiving,
you know, or maybe it's like some jingle bells behind.

Speaker 5 (39:22):
It or soth but like, how do you how do
I like word that?

Speaker 7 (39:25):
Definitely Christmas wake up?

Speaker 8 (39:30):
We'll take We'll work on it.

Speaker 9 (39:31):
Okay, a little bit more, just say jingle bells or
jingle all the way or or happy holiday.

Speaker 7 (39:40):
You or maror krima.

Speaker 5 (39:46):
Work on that.

Speaker 7 (39:46):
Well, yo, we gotta go.

Speaker 4 (39:48):
We gotta go deep.

Speaker 7 (39:48):
Into the like Christmas will and find like a saying
or something. Okay, I'm like home alone or something.

Speaker 5 (39:53):
Yeah, we'll do that. We'll do that. I'll think they
do it right now.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
Just all right, Christy is time and you're talking about
going deep into the bag about you know the different names, Christy,
you go deep into the bag by your fun facts.
What you got.

Speaker 8 (40:06):
Football footballly or non footballly. I'll do real quick, maybe
do both?

Speaker 4 (40:10):
How about that? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (40:11):
Yeah, okay, all this supposed dysfunction and I things with
with Philly and all they do is win, win when okay, yeah, no,
I just want to put this in perspective. Why do
Philly fans like Nick Sirianni when you know, uh, everybody
else just like oh that guy, you know the way

(40:32):
he gets in people's faces on the sideline and stuff.
Put this in perspective, his winning percentage of seven eighteen.
How awesome is that in the Super Bowl era? Only
one head coach in NFL history has a higher winning
percentage and it's by just a little bit, and that's

(40:52):
John Madden. So I just want to put in perspective
what he has, what Nick has accomplished up there in Philadelphia,
and how consistent they are, maybe not in their numbers
statistically gamed a game. We know sometimes it ain't pretty,
but give me an ugly win every single time over
a pretty loss. And only John Madden has a higher

(41:15):
winning percentage in the Super Bowl era than Nick Sirianni.
So little appreciation for what our division rival that Cowboys
Nation can't stand what they've done. Okay, now a fun one.
Back in the seventies, there was a player for the
Eagles who was a bartender and a teacher in South Philly.

(41:36):
Native of South Philly, his name was Vince Papouli. He
played for three years as a backup wide receiver and
as a special team's ace. He was kind of Bill
Bates before Bill Bates, all right, special teams demon going
down the thing. And obviously the Philly fans loved him
because he was literally one of them. And if the
name Vince Papoli sounds somewhat familiar, even if you're not

(41:58):
old like me and remember him actually played, you may
remember the movie Invincible with Mark Wahlberg, which is based
on the life of Vince Popoli. It came out in
two thousand and eight. So here's the thing. They wondered,
they've got some great football scenes and they even came
to Texas Stadium and filmed.

Speaker 4 (42:17):
You know, when.

Speaker 8 (42:17):
Papouli had a good game, made a good play against
the Cowboys. Vince Poopoli was six foot two. He was
the size of other football players. Mark Wahlberg is five
foot eight. So when they cast the movie, they had
to cast football players, you know, hit the teammates and
players for the other team that were a bit shorter. Okay, Otherwise,

(42:40):
if you had all these you know, like D one
or former NFL players, Mark Wahlberg would look small and
everybody else would, you know, look really tall. So they,
you know, it was kind of some you know, there
were some semi pro players, maybe some D three players
cast well. One of Vince Popoli's teammates, one of the
great wide receivers in Eagles history. Some would argue the

(43:04):
best Harold Carmichael six foot eight in real life. I mean, hey,
the real Harold Carmichael was six foot eight, and the
actor that they cast in the movie was six foot four.
Because if they had a six first of all, it's
hard to find a six foot eight person. You know,
they could do that. But anyway, so think about casting
in that movie. But I highly recommend Invincible. You're talking

(43:26):
about Disney earlier. It's great you and you see some Yeah,
and I love me some Marky Mark. So it just
makes my heart happy to think about Marky Mark, even
though even though he played a Philadelphia Eagle. But yeah,
good movie, good movie. And like I say, they yeah
they two thousand and six instead of two thousand and eight,
thank you. So they but they filmed scenes over here

(43:49):
at Texas Stadium. I remember when they did that. It
was in the off season. That's really exciting.

Speaker 7 (43:53):
Yeah, another football will be I gotta add to my list.

Speaker 8 (43:56):
Yeah, Invincible, Vince Vince Papa Invincible and Meryl Reese, who's
the voice of the Eagles, just like Brad Sham is
the voice of the Cowboys. Brad is forty eight years
now Cowboys, and Meryl has him by one year, so
forty nine years. But Merrill is actually in the movie
and so you know, does really voices the play by play.

(44:21):
So it sounds identical because it's the same guy. Wow,
Invincible as a movie Invincible.

Speaker 2 (44:27):
Who do y'all think is gonna be invincible on Sunday?

Speaker 5 (44:30):
Oh got a farmer's dog, Dog of the game, who
y'all got?

Speaker 9 (44:33):
God?

Speaker 7 (44:34):
I almost to go who's gonna be invincible.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
Yep, might be a stretch. I was just trying to it's.

Speaker 8 (44:46):
Gonna be the farmer's dog, the farmers dog, a dog
of the week, dog of the game.

Speaker 7 (44:52):
I feel so like this is being thrust upon me.

Speaker 5 (44:56):
I'm not ready.

Speaker 4 (44:57):
I'm still thinking, do y'all have one.

Speaker 5 (45:01):
I'm gonna go Donald as a rock.

Speaker 7 (45:06):
That's literally what I'm thinking.

Speaker 2 (45:11):
I'm gonna go Eessie. Obviously it's gonna be important to
get pressure on Jalen. Jalen hurts. You know, there's some
opportunities across the offensive line. He's been playing well week
after week. Uh yeah, I'm gonna go with Ezsie.

Speaker 5 (45:24):
I think that's the.

Speaker 4 (45:27):
Yeah for me.

Speaker 10 (45:27):
I'm going I'm going ceed Lamb because just of what
happened when they faced each other, and how I know,
I know, it's just been sitting there and we talked
about how it was gonna be him going into the
next game, but to face the same team who gave
him his worst game thus far, I just think it's
gonna be a little bit more personal. And yes, I

(45:49):
expect Pickens to get at but I think this is
going to be a ceedee Lamb watch this type of moment.

Speaker 14 (45:56):
I like that.

Speaker 8 (45:59):
Brandon Aubrey, okay, which I know we don't think of
the kicker as being you know, like dog and you know,
super tough and physical out there. But I think this
is going to be a relatively low scoring game, and
I think that he'll have some long attempts because it's
going to be so hard to matriculate the ball down
the field against that defense. And I think that this

(46:20):
will be a game similar to New York Giants, where
at the end it rides on Aubrey's foot. So I'm
gonna go with Aubrey.

Speaker 14 (46:26):
I like that.

Speaker 9 (46:27):
Wow, I'm gonna go with Oh Soul, Diggi zooa. I
get like you benefited last week, you know, just getting
Quinn Williams in there with that Philly in Teier being
kind of me. I think you'll have the opportunity to
tee off in this game and get some pressures and
some penetration.

Speaker 7 (46:45):
I'm also Diggie Zula like.

Speaker 5 (46:47):
That score predictions. Yeah, all right, I want you to
show out to that promise. I'm done. That's a wrap
for today's show. It's been fun.

Speaker 2 (46:54):
What stressed out Like I always igt that y'all want
to do, We're not gonna do it.

Speaker 6 (47:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (47:01):
By I know she was getting pressed out though, So
I'll do a score.

Speaker 7 (47:06):
All right, but you gotta bree what you got, Christy.
I think it stays in the twenties.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
Twenties.

Speaker 11 (47:12):
I'm gonna go Cowboys twenty seven?

Speaker 4 (47:17):
Is that too much?

Speaker 12 (47:17):
Now?

Speaker 11 (47:18):
I'm gonna go twenty seven.

Speaker 8 (47:19):
I'll go twenty three, seventeen Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
I'm gonna okay, hmm, I'm gonna say twenty one cowboys.

Speaker 7 (47:30):
See you and got your seazy see the skirt and
it puts you under.

Speaker 2 (47:34):
Yeah, Cowboys twenty one Mm hmmm.

Speaker 7 (47:38):
Do you think the Cowboys pay twenty one?

Speaker 5 (47:39):
Twenty eagles? No, I'll be bold, twenty one fourteen cowboys.

Speaker 11 (47:45):
Alright, God, all right boy, I'm gonna take a sip.

Speaker 9 (47:47):
Here you go.

Speaker 8 (47:48):
Fortune favors the bones break what's in that?

Speaker 4 (47:57):
All right?

Speaker 5 (47:58):
It's gonna be a cowgo.

Speaker 4 (48:00):
I'm gonna go.

Speaker 9 (48:00):
I'm gonna go twenty Yeah, that's I'm gonna go twenty three,
twenty eight.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
Cowboys were all picking cowboys.

Speaker 9 (48:12):
Wow, it's a hong game. They're about to turn up, yeah,
turn up work. Yeah, they're about they're about to have funa.

Speaker 8 (48:20):
We've all been drinking from breeze.

Speaker 9 (48:23):
Nah, Seriously, Like the other night, I was sitting there
like just kind of thinking about the game, and it's
Philly weeks.

Speaker 4 (48:31):
I ain't ain't never scared. It's Philly weak.

Speaker 9 (48:33):
And then on top of that, like they played each
other tough every time, it's gonna be a good game.

Speaker 8 (48:36):
That game was for the taking for the Cowboys in
week one and they know that there and they know
that absolutely.

Speaker 4 (48:43):
I'm ready, so are they Hopefully. I think they are
get them green people out of here.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
