Speaker 2 (00:29):
There's nothing else like it.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Nobody else is on the field postgame like this covering
your Texans.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
Walking off the field just a few seconds after the
matt Amandola game winner.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Holy moly, John Harris, what did we just see?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I don't know, Drew, you might have to get the
bleep raw for this, because that was some serious bleep man.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
I still don't know how that happened.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
I mean, the game is literally enhanced twenty seventeen, and then.

Speaker 5 (00:59):
I I mean, I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Even know how to explained it.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
I mean, how did boyd and not catch that touchdown
at the end there?

Speaker 5 (01:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I don't know what this means other than the fact
that Texas they're five and four beating some really good
football teams lately, beat.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Some really good football team and this is a place
they just win in this town. They haven't lost here
since the George W.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Bush administration.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
That's a long time ago.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Which Bush? Which Bush?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
George W? The first second?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, a long time ago. Ah yeah, I mean the
defense was so good for so long.

Speaker 5 (01:28):
Today.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
You know, just in the fourth quarter, you know, Joe
Burrow got his but man, the running game got going today.
Motor was fantastic. You know, everybody contributed. And how about
Madamondola going three for three today? I mean huge, absolutely huge.
But you'll look, it comes down to seven. I mean
that fourth quarter, he'd like to have the one back,
and I guarantee you'll tell the guys that he he
cost them there. But they hung in there. They hung
in there, and that's what good football teams do. Matter.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
Was really fun to watch, just.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
A total team win, huge plays on all three sides
of the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
You brought up Motor.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Not everybody knows, but that's Devin Singletony's nickname. First one
hundred yard performance to Damian Pierce cracked one hundred in
the loss on Monday Night Football a year ago or
Thursday Night Football year ago against the Eagles. He was
huge today, he was.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Massive I mean there were times where he was one
on one with with a Bengal in the hole and
he'd make a miss. And I mean Nick Scott still
hasn't tackled him. I mean he made twenty nine miss
a few times. I mean it was fun to watch, man.
It was really fun offense to watch today for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
And Nolah Brown, my goodness, we haven't broughtup CJ stround
were going on a moment. Nolah Brown continues to explode
head north of one hundred and fifty.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
We're getting fist bumps here from.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
John Garnard had a couple of sacks atay north of
one hundred fifty, I mean nearly two hundred yards receiving today.
That's John clapping it.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
Motor yeah, motor uh yeah. Eighty five was tremendous. Two
games for one hundred and fifty plus back to back games.
I mean, I mean, guys that we have out today,
I mean, this really was a This was an organization game.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Man.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
It was incredible, really really fun.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
All right, I got to get a lot from all right, John,
have fun. That was John Harris wrapping up the win.
Excuse me, U's gonna come through wrapping up the win,
Texans moved to five and four. They have not lost
in Cincinnati in over fifteen twenty years. It's been a
long long time and they are cooking now. This is
a good Bengals team if they just beat all right,

(03:09):
Tank Dell, what were the emotions? What was this locker
room like when you guys come in after the win.

Speaker 6 (03:16):
You know, we was we was hyped. You know, we
just been a big We just beat a big time
team and we know what those guys was gonna bring
to this game. And you know, we went out there
and executed. It came down to the wire, but we finished.
So you know we was a sighted you know, but
it's on to the next week now.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
So what'd you think get that last drive? What was
going on for you guys?

Speaker 6 (03:34):
CJ Man, he was just calm, He was poised. It
started off front with the old line. But you know, CJ,
we got seven, bro seven handle business man, so very
like we got seven and when we got him, we
know we can do anything. So he gave us motivation.
He gave us the courage to go out there and
finish the game, and you know, we want to win
for him and for coach Demico, So for the whole organization,

(03:55):
man for everybody.

Speaker 5 (03:56):
So we finished.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Tell me about the touchdown catch you had. You catch
that thing and then you dive in there.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
It didn't look like initially when you get it, the
defense was gonna.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Converge and get you stopped short. They didn't do that.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
Yeah, with me, I just caught it.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
I saw a little bit of space and I tol
I ran with it. So saw a little bit of
space I saw it just felt like.

Speaker 5 (04:15):
I could reach out. If I can get close and
reach out, I can get in there.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
So that's what I did, and you know, ended up
being a touchdown.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
A lot of you guys were banged up today. Some
of you weren't able to play. Some of you who
were able to play play through a lot. What to
say about the toughest of.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
This team, man that were willing to go out there
each and every Sunday and give up what we give
everything we got left in the tank. If you hurt,
you banged up, but you're going out there, you're scrapping up.
Then you signing up to go out there and play
all four quarters and play hard. And we know that,
so you just gonna give it everything.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
What's it like seeing the game and the way it
did with the kicker, with all huge players coming from
every side of the ball, special teams, offensive defense, it was.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
As a sight.

Speaker 6 (04:51):
You know, he just got here this week and he
stepped up. His name and his number was called, name
was called, and he finished the game for us. So
we're very proud of him. Man, you just hand the business.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Tank del thank you for the time, right all right,
SEAQ Griffin. What is going on in this locker room
following a win like that?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (05:10):
Man, it's kind of hard to pinpoint it right now. Man,
It's a lot of excitement. Man, it's a lot of
people who, you know, just who're just happy with everybody
who had the way we fought this game and offense defense,
specially teams putting us in a great situation. But man,
I'm just proud of these guys here, and I feel
like everybody feel the same way.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Man.

Speaker 5 (05:26):
It's a lot of excitement. Man, it's kind of hard
to put in words right now.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
You got a big smile on your face and you
just bring up all three sides of the ball, huge, huge,
huge players by all of them.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
Let's talk about your interception. What was going on there.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
Oh, man, I just reading his eyes, and you know,
we're just playing the regular zone, a little defense, and
I seen him want to go to his running back.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
I said, well, I ain't gonna waste no time here.
I'm gonna go to the end zone.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Man.

Speaker 7 (05:47):
He threw it exactly where I was heading to. So
it was a perfect I said in my head, I said,
just don't drop it. I said, the only thing you
gotta do is just don't drop it. So I took
my thigh I caught the ball. I was like, you know,
should I run?

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Ah?

Speaker 5 (05:56):
I just took a break, took a knee to that celebrate.
So man it it was amazing, amazing play.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
He's one of the best in the game.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
Joe bro.

Speaker 2 (06:02):
He's gonna get his. He got his.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
But you guys encoverage in the rush in the middle
with the linebackers.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
What'd y'all do to him today?

Speaker 4 (06:09):
Man?

Speaker 5 (06:10):
Oh, we did exactly what we need to do.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
We knew he was gonna make some plays for the
main thing is we try to keep him contained as
much as possible. They knowing nuggeting the wrong with a
lot of things we could learn from, you know, from
the situation in that game. But uh, man, I feel
like the d line got after him, like they made
a lot of huge plays, especially the plays towards the end.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
What really mattered, you know, getting those two sacks back
to back to push him back.

Speaker 7 (06:28):
You know, ain't no telling how different it could have
been if we didn't get those plays made. So man,
I just feel like, you know, when it came down
to it, we just continue to fight no matter how
the outcome was gonna be. We just continue to fight
until the last second, you know, And I be the
one on that side of the ball, they'd.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Be kicking it for the game winner. I love going
that side every time.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
One last thing for me, what's it like having a
quarterback like CJ. Stroud when you're a defender?

Speaker 5 (06:49):
Oh man, it's amazing. It's amazing.

Speaker 7 (06:51):
I remember in the first quarter when they took off,
like first six minutes, I said, when you got a
guy like that who can minish the game and make plays,
it's gonna be a hard team to stop. And man,
knowing you got a guy like that behind you the defense,
you gotta do what you gotta do.

Speaker 5 (07:03):
Man, we love him, We love him a lot.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
Seat Griffin congrats on the victory. Can't wait to see
you again.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Thank you, thank you, thank you our cornerback.

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Stephen Nelson. First things first, the locker room after this win.
How delicious is this?

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Delicious?

Speaker 8 (07:16):
Uh it's a crazy way to describe him. Delicious not malicious. No, No,
delicious is a crazy word too in itself. We have
to pause that. But well, I'm gonna say, man, it
was great. It was a great atmosphere after a great win.
You know, guys came in here. It was hype, you
know what I mean. We need that, We need that
juice for our team. Man, So you felt great.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
Big win over a good team like you mentioned, This
is a banged up roster of you guys, you in
particular banged up. I mean, what did you have to
gut through today to make make today a reality? Oh?

Speaker 4 (07:48):
Man?

Speaker 8 (07:48):
You know, just look at my teammates. You know, you
know they depend on me, so you know, I gotta
put whatever I got going on side, and you know, sacrifice,
you know. So that's what it's about and helping my
team get a win.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
What'd you think what the pass rush was able to
do to help you guys, and what you guys were
able to do to help the pass rush as a secondary.

Speaker 8 (08:05):
Rush and cover go together.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
What's next for you guys?

Speaker 8 (08:10):
Get back to work, man, Just keep it going. You
know there's still a lot of football left. You know,
a lot of great football teams, and you know you
can never look too soon or you know, take the
foot out of the guys. Gotta keep going all the
way through.

Speaker 1 (08:22):
You bring up those those great football teams you've been
on this the last question. What's it like as a
defender playing with a quarterback like CJ.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Stroud?

Speaker 8 (08:29):
It means a lot, bro because I mean, just keep
it short, like you know, when you got a quarterback
that can get points, you know, it puts an other
team on edge. And as a cornerback, you want them
to throw the ball, you know.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
So gutsy performance by Steven Nelson. Steve, appreciate the time,
best of luck.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Appreciate you, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Thanks Ma Sheldon. I got in, I got in late.
But ye, what was going on on here your day
to day? I mean three sacks? You ever had a
three sack day before high school?

Speaker 4 (08:55):
High school? My last three sack game was high school?
Oh yeah, no, I think I played against Alixe cap
A lot, you know from my time in New Orleans,
you know, so very familiar with him, very familiar with
him and played the Bangles the last two years with
the Jets in this same front, So very familiar with

(09:17):
how they want to attack it, very familiar with you know,
a lot of things we would get and just went
through my process through the week, just kind of understanding
what he loses too, and then what I do well,
and just kind of marrying those two things together and
then just come out here and execute. You know, every
one of them isn't gonna be perfect. Everyone isn't gonna

(09:37):
be a sack or a hit or something like that.
But you don't deviate from the plan. You trust the process,
you go through throughout the week, and then you come
out here on Sunday and you execute.

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Seldon, you talk about the marriage of those two things.
How about the marriage.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Of what you guys were able to do upfront with
what was going on in the back end in the secondary.
How much did you both sides crank each other?

Speaker 5 (09:54):
Yeah? Absolutely, we feed off of that.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
We feed off each other. You know, JP's are hyping,
you know Petrie, you know, he's always uh, he's always
talking to us up front. He's always getting everybody hyping
on the same page, and and we just feed off
that energy. We understand it all works hand in hand
Russian coverage. You know, there are times where we may
not necessarily you know, win all our rushes, and you know,

(10:17):
they bail us out and then you know, and vice versa.
And then when we're operating on the same page together,
you know, we feel like there's an offense that that
can mess with itself. Uh So, you know, just just
being able to continue growing that continuity, continue to grow
that that uh, that relationship between Russian coverage.

Speaker 5 (10:37):
I expect nothing but great things down the stretch.

Speaker 2 (10:39):
Last thing for micheldon how tough are you guys?

Speaker 1 (10:42):
Because you know, no, no NFL team, no matter the
week of the season, enters it with one hundred percent health.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
That's to a man, not much less as a team.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
A lot of guys are out today, A lot of
guys who were playing you included, playing hurt.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
How tough are you guys?

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (10:57):
Yeah, we don't. If if we can walk, we're out there.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
You know.

Speaker 4 (11:01):
That's that's that's that's kind of the the kind of
the vibe of the locker room. You know, no man
wants to miss an opportunity to go out there and
fight for their brothers, you know, to go out there
and and put their best feel forward for this team.
You know, just being around here, man, everybody's so close.
Everybody loves wonder. Everybody wants to see the man next
to them elevate and have success and and make big

(11:22):
time plays. And there's no there's there's no slight, there's
no animosity, you know for any of that. Guys are
genuinely happy to see one another go out there and
make plays and and have success. So, uh, when you
have that, it's it's it's nothing for a guy to
you know, uh tough it out through a little you know,
through a little pain here or there to be able

(11:44):
to go out there and and be a part of
his special brotherhood that we have here.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
Sheldon, congrats on the big day, Congrats on winning. Congrats
on having hands down the coolest sunglasses on the team.

Speaker 4 (11:54):
Hey, I appreciate you.

Speaker 5 (11:55):
I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Sheldon. Rankings
