Speaker 1 (00:00):
So so let's going on nothing much.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hold on, what are you doing, Jake?

Speaker 1 (00:08):
I just left pilates buddy, and I'm going homemade lunch.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I'm gonna get on the tractor lawnmower.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And cut grass because it's.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Going like crazy and next week's supposed to be all rainy,
so I'm trying to knock it out nice.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
So if I sound like I'm going through puberty, it's
just allardies.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
No, you do sound a bit overmodulated, though. Are you
onna you kind of go blow your nose? Jake?

Speaker 1 (00:32):
No?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Who so I talking? You sound in a tunnel. Don't
you didn't even put my air pods in?

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Yeah? You sound like you have.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Hey, I'm not asking for me a two cents, Stewart,
obviously awesome.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
I just I just wanted to come on here. And
that's with a second because I just I just pulled
up to meet with David. You so much better now, Jake.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Okay, let's just have Stu be on this instead of Jake.

Speaker 4 (01:02):
Seriously, sound like you just came from space.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Stu. This, I ran into this. It's funny you're here.

Speaker 5 (01:13):
I ran into this mega Oregon Duck fan like two
weeks ago and he was all geeked out because I
know you just so you know, do you know Jonathan Stewart.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I was like, yeah, we're your teammates. Oh man, that
guy had huge muscles. I'm I guess he did. He
still does as far as I know.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
Yeah, this guy, he told me all your stats everything.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
He's in the big.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
Should have told him how good of a basketball player.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
I was No. I didn't want to.

Speaker 5 (01:44):
I didn't want to change any thoughts of what you
thought about you. So I was like, yeah, man, he
made us look good.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
He framed his butt off.

Speaker 5 (01:52):
Which is all true stuff, but I only stuck with
the highlights.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
So there you go.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
All right, good hearing from you, guys.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Jake, Yeah, glad you jumped on.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
You need to Yes, you need to go take some
n Well.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
No, I don't need will you're sick snooze the rest
of the day.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I'm not sick.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
It's just you know, when people rolling their sleeves and
work for a living and don't stay in the house
or go play golf or go go meet.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
With David in their condition, I mean, come on, they
had a.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Meeting in a business meeting.

Speaker 4 (02:25):
Congrats on your horse man, that was super fun to
hear about.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
And in your interview, thank you Craft.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Well, I called him and I texted him and he
ain't coming back, so.

Speaker 3 (02:41):
That would be a wrong answer.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
No, he's very sick because he don't remember.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Yeah, out that time of life.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, see you guys, Shortan and Jake Good.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Ready to go bump stops.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
He throws a crossfield.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
So torg Grouse, here are your Panther Hall of Honor members,
Jordan Gross and Jake Delome.

Speaker 5 (03:10):
Jake, it's been a little while, it's time to talk
to Panthers and some general life information.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
How you been, buddy.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I am doing great, Jordan.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
It's a it's getting pretty warm down in South Louisiana,
to say the least, and so you know, but that's normal.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
But the thing to me is.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
That when I'm cutting a ton of grass and things
like that and it's hot, I know football season is
starting to creep up a bonus.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
That's how I look at it.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Here's the thing that I don't like about this time
of year. So the Panthers are in the OTAs. I
do like that, Panthers and the OTAs, and it's like,
oh yeah, football starting my high school. We started our
summer program. Had seven on seven last night against another
couple of high schools. Ooh, football starting. But also summer
is the best time of the year in my opinion,
for swimming and sunshine and all that, and it's just

(03:59):
all seems like it's a little accelerated, Jake, So I'm
okay that football isn't officially starting yet, just kind of
dabbling in it because I like summer to last.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Man, it's the best time of the year.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
I can't agree with you there.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I totally understand that, especially you know with being ahead
high school football coach and all that entails, like you
want to enjoy because you know, once the grind starts,
I mean, it's just it's it's nose down and just work.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I understand that. So I get it.

Speaker 5 (04:29):
Yeah, Well, we're doing our summer program, so like today
was the speed day, so we're working on our speed development,
going through the techniques of all that running for him
and all that stuff. The whole time I'm doing it,
I'm thinking, like this funny cycle will being an athlete, right, Like,
let's stop talking about high school, but moved to the
Panthers off season training and maybe things have changed, but

(04:51):
off season training you always got to where you felt sweet,
right like this time of year, your diets dialed in,
you got your your lifting's good, your body's feeling if
you do have a surgery or something, your body's feeling good.
You're in shape, You're running around out there with no
pads on and doing your OTAs, and everybody loves each
other because you're undefeated. And then you fast forward to

(05:13):
like October, and at least for me and the other
line guys, my diet fell off the wagon.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
I was like, beat up, I'm sore, I'm miserable.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
It's just such a funny thing, man, the differences in
the part of the year for these guys. But I
know they're feeling good right now, Jake, is that how
it was for you?

Speaker 3 (05:32):
One hundred percent? You just everything feels good and as
hard as the quarterback because I'm not a running.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Back or alignment a linebacker, a tidy end that you
have the bumps and bruises, right, we have some, but
not nearly like the big guys and the guys that
get hit. But man, it's toward the middle to ladder
part of the season. I know some guys might struggle
with weight.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
I couldn't keep it on.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
It was so hard to keep it on, so you
would just try to eat as much as you could.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
But I guess that was a good thing.

Speaker 1 (06:01):
In a way, just to try to keep some of
the weight on. I know, super Bowl year, I got
down the two hundred and four pounds and I went
into training camp weighing two seventeen.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
I just just couldn't.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Keep it on, just withering away to nothing, Jake.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Almost nothing, That is correct, all right, So let's talk
about these Panthers right now. So they are out in OTAs.
Bryce Young has got to just be feeling excellent. Second
year with coach Canalis, minimal change, added a sweet receiver
in the draft, Renfro and free agency. I mean the

(06:36):
receiver groups is exciting to talk about. But Jake qb
mentality with his age, he is now that rookie year's
far away from him. So can some consistencies happen? And
what do you think he's feeling like in these OTAs.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
I would just.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Think it's you know, Jordan, and I'm trying to put
myself in his shoes and I can't because I wasn't drafted.
I wasn't the number one overall pink and I wasn't
thrust into being a order right away. You know, I
had the time to develop and things like that. But
I think for him, you know, last year learning another system,
and yes, we had a I'm talking about twenty three season.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
You know, wasn't a good year for the Panthers.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Have a brand new coach going into twenty twenty four,
and we didn't play well as the team and individually,
and Bryce will say it, yeah, I had a lot
to improve upon. So I guess there's more of that
mindset of like I got to prove myself and he
still needs to prove himself. But you go into this
year that the year started off not good for him,

(07:37):
sat wait, waited, Watchton. We all know how it ended, right,
We all understand the last six to eight weeks of
the season that looked like, okay, that's the number one
overall pick. So I just think the confidence factor year
two in a system you can kind of build off
of it. You've added a couple of receivers fairly new,
but they're still Adam feeling Cocher's back. Lagetts in year two,

(07:59):
JT Sanders, you know, tremble. Yeah, he has a little
off season surgery deal. But like you're the old line,
all five of those guys are really truly seven because
Brady and yet k mays.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
There's just that comfort Jordan.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
It's hard to explain that, just the comfort level, and
it's like, Okay, what are we building on? What are
we working on to keep adding to what we did
last year to where we're going to be that much better.

Speaker 3 (08:25):
I just think it adds to the confidence factor. That's
just what I believe.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Here's what I think about him. So, Bryce Young is
twenty three years old. His birthday's July twenty fifth, Okay,
two thousand and one. First of all, that's just awesome.
Aither way I got drafted. I was five years in college.
I got drafted at twenty three. My birthday's July twentieth.
So when I was Bryce Young's age, I was a rookie.

(08:51):
Bryce Young's now going into.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
His third year, and the point here is his first
and second season in the NFL.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
I was only a junior and in college, Like, I
got so much better in that time of my life, Jake,
I got so much better, like stronger, more emotionally and mentally,
develop experience whatever. I was a rookie when Bryson's going
into his third year. So there's so many parts of
himself with his age and with the experience and the

(09:20):
things with the Panthers organization and consistency. I just I'm
so excited for this kid to be going into his
third year. The other thing for me is like, because
I was starter from right.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
Away, and I was, you know, right off the bat, hey,
big responsibility.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
You're gonna be a guy that does this thing, you know,
not a quarterback, but as a tackle. I remember in
my third year when I saw the rookies, I felt
like my second year, I didn't think there was much
difference between me and a rookie, you know, when I
was in my second year. But third year, I thought, man,
these guys don't do anything Like I'd had enough experience
in two years to feel like they're separation. And I

(09:55):
was starting to, like teeter On like a bit of
a veteran, knew what to do, knew the ropes, know,
got comfortable with everything. And that's what I'm seeing with him,
And it'll be and it's interesting. It'll be fun to
watch his relationship with McMillan, where now McMillan looking at
him as a veteran guy, you know what I mean,
Bryce's gonna transition out of that you got Lee getting
and then that receiver room, Jake, I know you've mentioned

(10:16):
it briefly. I want to talk about it, like I'm
so dang excited with feeling still there, Renfro adding him, Uh,
they're getting a battle against JC and like a group,
great corner group.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Over there as well.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
It just seems like an area that the Panthers have
been drafted and spending so much capital on for multiple seasons,
Like it's it's got to be settled in now at
this point.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Yeah, it's got to be.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
And you know, you made such such a great point
talking about like year three and you're thinking, like my gosh,
this rookie doesn't know anything.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
So yeah, just that factor.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
But also you talk about the receivers, you know, Jordan,
I think I told this to somebody when we pull
up to a stadium this year, I think our receivers
need to get off the bus first, you know, because
we're gonna be a big, long, good looking group when
we get off the bus. I mean one Legette gets
off and he's like RoboCop.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I mean, he's just massive.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Then McMillan, the six four and a half, you know, six' five,
long Lean feeling is not a small, Man Adam Feeling
Jalen cocher is not a small, person you.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Know so we get off the.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Bus we're gonna look, pretty and we're gonna look, big
and we're gonna have. Speed so, yeah there's a lot
of weapons that we. Have and it certainly seems like
just everything, reading, listening, watching you, Know feeling.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Is the, godfather, right everyone kind of looks up to.
Him But flan.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Had That ricky pro in, him that that that there's
a mean he's mean, there there's just there's an edge to.
Him AND i think all those other guys they see,
it and they reverew him and they talk about. Him
we watch what he, Does we watch everything he, does
how he, attacks and how he. Practices that's that is
so critical to the development of a young especially a wide,

(12:03):
receiver because that can be a diva, position as we
all know that diva.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
Position, yeah exactly.

Speaker 5 (12:09):
Right doesn't feel that way with this, group THOUGH i
love that you call him the godfather, too.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
WELL i mean it just like that's that's but think about.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
It think about all of our big, plays a big
third down or fourth down, plays who's it's stealing catching
it and he's getting Up And i'm not saying he's talking,
smack but you know what it, is there's an edge to.
Him he plays with an edge that is something THAT
i for a young football teams that goes a very long.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
Way he was born in nineteen ninety by the, way
so addressing difference Than price. Young he'll be thirty five
when the season starts this.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Year.

Speaker 5 (12:45):
Jake let's give him some airtime talking about how freaking
awesome that is to be a wide receiver in THE
nfl at age thirty, Five. Jake the amount of routes
that he has run an experience obviously can make you
a better.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
Play but bottom line is a, receiver you got to
be explosive and.

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Fast and for him to keep himself in top condition
and be a guy that is valued on AN nfl
roster at thirty, Five, jake that's just.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Incredible, yeah it's a credit to probably his, diet, exercise
but also staying, pliable being, loose standing in, shape never
let yourself get out of. Shape and it's funny you
said nineteen. Ninety that's pretty. Cool And i'm trying to
REMEMBER Jj janssen was born nineteen seventy. One it's got
to be in the, seven, nineteen the, seventies, Right he's.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Not in the.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Seventies there is no WAY jj is in the, seventies
but he might act like it's ALL i came up
here while we're talking as.

Speaker 2 (13:41):
Well but now being in thirty, FIVE jj was born
in eighty.

Speaker 5 (13:45):
Six oh so he's the. Oldest he's thirty. Nine how
old were you on your last? Season thirty?

Speaker 3 (13:53):
SEVEN i THINK i. WAS i THINK i turned thirty
seven right at the.

Speaker 5 (13:56):
End, yeah, yeah super. Old there's no way you could
have been a receiver at thirty, Five. Jake, unlikely he
couldn't have.

Speaker 3 (14:03):
BEEN i probably couldn't have been receiver at twenty, Five.

Speaker 5 (14:06):
Jordan, hey we haven't, talked you, know there's no chance
we haven't talked About the schedule came out a couple
of weeks, ago and you AND i haven't done a
show since.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
THEN i was.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
Pumped for A monday night football, Game.

Speaker 5 (14:21):
JAKE i have had to bite my tongue for years and,
like oh, yeah, shoot we didn't get a primetime. Game
darn it Rats monday night football game at the forty
nine ers In.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
November awesome AND i am excited about. This, jake what about?

Speaker 3 (14:40):
YOU i Am jordan and that's something you.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
KNOW i don't know If i've told this story, already
But jake read long time wide receiver In Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (14:49):
Vikings and he came.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
To New orleans at the end of his, career and sure,
enough schedule came out and we're in a team meeting
where they gave it to, us and he stood up
and he.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
Was, like there's a problem, here.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Guys and nobody knew what he was talking about because
the same we were. Terrible and he was, like there's
No monday night football, Games like there's no you know, why.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Because we're not.

Speaker 1 (15:11):
Good we're not good enough yet we need to have
this needs to be a standard and. Expectation and that
really and truly that's kind of how it.

Speaker 3 (15:20):
Is you become a good football, team you get put
in prime.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
Time and the last couple of, years two years ago
we had A monday night, game but it was a
doubleheader type game.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Early in the.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Season one of THOSE i love that this is A
monday night football game Against san fran toward the latter
part of the.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
YEAR i love.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
IT i hope there's an expectation level on our part
that we're going to be making our run to go
toward the.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Playoffs that's What i'm. Hoping i'm like, You, Jordan i'm
fired enough for.

Speaker 2 (15:46):
It, well let's talk about that time of.

Speaker 5 (15:49):
Year it's a million million years from now and we
can speculate all we.

Speaker 2 (15:52):
Want our, conference or excuse, me our. Division.

Speaker 5 (15:56):
Jake you know you Got Derek carr, left which kind
of surprised. Me i've read an article the other day
about how he could have made thirty million dollars if
he would have gotten surgery and tried to play this.
Year like that's a whole nother. Story but our division
seems to be up for grabs this, Year. Jake schedule
makers wouldn't have done that matchup if they didn't think
that there'd be some relevancy to that game In. November

(16:18):
like you, said how do you think this thing's going
to play out this?

Speaker 3 (16:21):
Year? Jake, WELL i think we're a.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
Team And i've said, This i'm going on, record upset.
It we need a draft class to hang.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Our hat, on. RIGHT i ALWAYS i truly.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
Believe you, know when teams start to make their, run their,
push everybody wants to talk about a, quarterback and, yes
that's super, important but there is that draft class that
puts people over the top where you hit on a, second,
third or fourth round or that they become one of
the top. Players, okay so a collection of draft picks
that we have this, year we signed a bunch of

(16:54):
guys in free. AGENCY i look at us as a.
Team i'm not scared of anybody in the. DIVISION i,
mean people want to talk About atlanta and things like.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
THAT i was there calling.

Speaker 1 (17:04):
The Game week eighteen last, year the last week of the, season, Like,
okay we're scared of.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
SOMEBODY i was In. Tampa. Tampa got to give them,
credit they've done a really good.

Speaker 1 (17:15):
Job but, YEAH i mean we Had tampa beat here
In carolina and. Overtime it was an unfortunate, situation Right New.
Orleans AM i scared Of New? Orleans, No i'm not
scared Of New orleans in the least. Bit we lost
The week one last, year but later on in the,
season when we started to somewhat turn the, corner that's
when we beat.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Him right before we went To. GERMANY so division's wide
open health is.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
PARAMOUNT i think we all know that health and, growth
AND i think we saw growth at the end Of
Lada porta last, year AND i think we're going to
continue for going.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
Forward the off season acquisitions that we've put together this year, Too,
Jake i'm excited about a couple of. Names Pat jones the,
second he had a nice ride up on dot com
but kind of a past rush guy coming out Of.

Speaker 2 (18:01):
Minnesota and Then.

Speaker 5 (18:02):
Turk wharton From Kansas, city like coming from that, organization
all the winning that he's been. Around just some good
additions that aren't like maybe big flashy. Names, jake we
always tend to talk a lot about the offense because
both of us that's where, we you, know made our.
Bread but, defensively our units are all strengthened and. Up

(18:22):
it's gonna be fun to watch that battle N ota
didn camp and then obviously when we get into the.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Season, Yeah, jordan, listen we had to address some defensive.

Speaker 3 (18:32):
NEEDS i think we all know.

Speaker 1 (18:33):
That there's a bunch of SIGNINGS i, like and just
certain Things i'm kind of hearing out Of. Carolina just you,
Know wharton From Kansas. City you talked about being around
a winning. Program that's kind of the things you're hearing
is the way that he it's a. Motor it's a
motor that he has that's just. NonStop i love the
moreg signing from The. RAIDERS i just think this is

(18:55):
a guy that loves. Football that can play, deep that
can play a half, safety that can get in the,
box that can, attack that can. Blitz just little things like.
THAT i, mean we're just adding. Players And dan said.
It we talked about it at nauseum in the press.
Conference all we needed dog. Players but you gotta get
guys that love the.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
Game.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Jordan we've played with guys that have just liked the.
Game they were, talented they liked. It the ones that love,
it it resonates throughout the team by any means, necessary
whatever we have to do for the team to.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Win that's when you start to develop good football.

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Teams, well there was a very good football team ten years,
ago the twenty Fifteen Carolina. Panthers this is the tenth
anniversary of that team that went, sixteen was fifteen and one,
then AND i was a part of that whole thing every,
game being a part of the radio broadcast. NETWORK i
know you, Weren't, jake but, man that team was so

(19:52):
amazing and fun to. Watch AND i know we'll talk
about that as we go, through but there WAS i
mean the right that team was put together with some
superstars With cam And luke and other. Guys but then
there was some special players you, Know ted or Not
ted Gin concheri as a receiver And Mike, tolberd and
the line had some you Know khalil and then but

(20:15):
then it had rimors and just how that team was placed, Together,
jacob just just, briefly like when you were watching that
team as A panthers, fan what was that team? Like
watching that?

Speaker 1 (20:27):
RUN i think you saw him grow before our very, eyes,
right because it was a team THAT i don't think
no one expected a super well run because of what
was it seventy nine the year, PRIOR i, believe but
won the, division, right made the playoffs and then was
it In?

Speaker 3 (20:43):
Seattle is my memory serving me?

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Correct where we Beat, seattle who was still you, know
one of the premier teams Or Camp, yeah can't Eat
greg down the scene and it was like all, right,
hey we're, here you, know not Knock carolina's.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Here we're not going. Anywhere that's an.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
Expectation and that is very similar to our team in
two thousand and, Three, jordan where we Beat Tampa week,
two Defending Super bowl.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Champions you, know everybody.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
Thought it was a.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Fluke well you fast, forward you, know two months, later
we're seven and. Two we beat them In november at, home, like,
no we're, Here like that. Was it's a statement. Game
and that's WHAT i remember about that team and watching them,
play and certainly the dab situation and all, that but
there was a confidence with that team and just a.

(21:30):
Swagger all teams just kind of have that juice whatever
you want to call. It there's just an edge to,
them to those football. Teams and that's WHAT i remember
about that football. Team there was just an edge to
that football. TEAM i love that you said dabs, Situation.
Jake that makes you sound so, old just so you, know.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
And i'm fifty years, Old. Jordan it doesn't bother me at,
all the dab situation.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
Now And i'm not alluding to the fact that this
year's team is going to be a one lost team
by any, means but, that like as you, said the
year before that team went seven to, nine kind of
came out of, nowhere And i'm cautiously. Optimistic you, know
just watch the rest of these OTAs they go Through june,
twelve finished with the mini camp the tenth to, twelfth

(22:14):
but how this team does and then going into the,
season we got The monday night. Game, jake like you said,
it you said it very. Well the division open to,
anybody so we'll see where it. Goes, Uh, jake were you?
Surprised it's been a month, now but we haven't talked
With clowney being. RELEASED i know he only came in
for the year and it, wasn't you, know a big splash.
Signing but being a local guy and, whatnot did that

(22:35):
surprise you at?

Speaker 3 (22:36):
All, yeah a little.

Speaker 1 (22:38):
Bit but once we, started you kind of saw we
signed so many defensive, guys and then through the, draft it's, like, man,
okay this is starting to bet there's some numbers, Here.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Like what's gonna happen with? Numbers i'm not Talking.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Jersey numbers LIKE i had that, position and so you, know,
Listen i'm not exactly sure what might.

Speaker 3 (22:57):
Have went, down how it went down and what. Not and,
YEAH i was a fan Of.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
CLOWNEY i Like.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
CLOWNEY i liked what he.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
DID i appreciated the last game of the season really
and truly not going to the. PLAYOFFS i think he
missed the week, prior but he probably could have not
played just to make sure he was healthy in the.
Offseason but he helped close out that game In, Atlanta
SO i appreciated.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
Him but, listen that's THE, nfl, Right.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Jordan it's it's a tough, business tough league, sometimes but you,
know guys move on to new play new, places and
so we replaced him with a bunch of free agent,
signs some young draft, picks and we're moving, forward all.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
Right, well last THING i got about The, Panthers, jake
is the article on the dot com talking about all
the games that Coach canalis has had in a. Practice
so if it's a team deer, drill you, know a
four yard run is worth one point for the, offense
less than four is worth one point for the. Defense
interceptions were two, points touchdowns worth, three you, know things like,

(23:57):
that back and. Forth my hat's off to Coach canalis
because as a head coach at a much smaller, level
trying to find ways to make practice competitive and change
it up and keep the guys engaged and do all those.

Speaker 2 (24:10):
THINGS i love what he's. Doing his energy is like annoyingly.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Incredible and the REASON i say, IT i was, Like
i'm jealous of how much energy he, has his positive,
attitude that, consistency even in the tough parts of the
season last, year in his first, year he just kept it.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
Up.

Speaker 5 (24:26):
Man and now, see like watching the videos of the
OTAs in, practice with the life and the juice that's
got going on, There jake just seems like a great
vibe and a guy THAT i would love to have played.
For And i'm honestly taking notes AS i follow, him
what's he? Doing what CAN i add to my practice
structure because it just seems like a lot of.

Speaker 2 (24:44):
Fun. Man let's work hard and let's have.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Fun that's the Whole seattle, way, Right AND i think
there's something to be said for. That that's competitive, Environment.
Jordan we've always talked about. It we used to finish
our week with a competitive two minute during the, season
and it was either offense was, happy offense was.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
UPSET i, mean there was no in.

Speaker 1 (25:02):
Between but as a competitive you just kind of it
just it breeds to, Me it breeds success in a
football team into an, organization you, know have competition at
at every, facet every, position. Everywhere AND i think it
just kind OF i don't, KNOW i just think it
kind of complacency doesn't set. IN i guess you could
say one thing as we wrap, Up, JORDAN i watched

(25:25):
the blueprint that was released a couple of days ago
A panthers dot. COM i think it's thirty six minutes.
LONG i watched it. Yesterday, phenomenal just the draft room
and listening To dan talk and Then brandt, talk And
tepper's in there, listening and then you got Coach canalis right,
there and then they go back and they and they

(25:46):
from Like february and they're discussing the guys that we
drafted and How dan had conviction and, this and, LISTEN
i think this is gonna. Happen and Then brant talking
about it and just like so ready to. Go.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
MAN i thought it was so fabulously. Done it was.
Fantastic watching that.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Yesterday it was, Like, okay we put the work in
and the draft came to.

Speaker 3 (26:08):
Us if you haven't seen, it you've got to go watch.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
It, Yeah, JAKE i saw it.

Speaker 5 (26:13):
Again just, awesome, man the content and the exposure and.

Speaker 2 (26:16):
The view that our fans get in the. Organization, man
it's it's just.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
Phenomenal something they should be proud of seeing what the
leadership is right now in the.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Building. Man, So, Jake i'm gonna let you. GO i gotta.
Go i'm going to get a tooth, Whitening. Jake just
so you, know right, now here's how it. Works at my.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
House my wife, goes you know, WHAT i think you
should go get your teeth. Whitened AND i, Said, hey
IF i said that to, you do you realize how
this conversation what would happen IF i.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Said that to?

Speaker 5 (26:45):
You she's, LIKE i, KNOW i, MEAN i just think
you're already, handsome but you would look, better like and
there's this place that does, it Like Downtown, boys it's
supposed to be really.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
AWESOME i just thought you should. Go i'm, like Just i'll.
Go that's thank. YOU i appreciate. That i'll. Go but
just so you, know IF i said that the other way,
around there'd be hell to. Pay.

Speaker 1 (27:02):
Yeah, Like i've always Liked dana a. LOT i THINK
i love her for telling you. THAT i think that's so.
Awesome that is great and of course you took it
the only Way jordan.

Speaker 3 (27:12):
Girls knows how to take. It BUT i think that is.

Speaker 2 (27:14):
Awesome, yeah So i'll let you know how it.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Goes, okay, Perfect please do? Right we can maybe get a, picture.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Yeah, Before i'll do it before and. After heck yeah
we can touch, that all, right Budd it be, good all,
right take, care
