Speaker 1 (00:02):
Jordan and Jake.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Go good. I'm excited, ready to go.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
The bump stops.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
He throws at a crossfield.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
Guess who, George Gross.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Here are your Panther Hall of Honor members, Jordan Gross
and Jake Delome Jake.
Speaker 4 (00:20):
We're back man, the Jordan and Jake Podcast. It is
back in training camp it started. I can't believe that.
And I have coaching boys, so it's football time. Hallelujah,
Thank the Lord.
Speaker 3 (00:34):
There's no doubt. I agree with you totally.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
And I was about ready to ask you if you
had coaching for us because it sounds a little raspy.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
So okay, let me tell you how this happens two ways.
One is on the football field, but also the others
in the weight room. So the weight room with a
high school football team is the epicenter of testosterone nonsense. Okay,
Like today, we had an upper body day, right. We
(01:06):
always finish on Thursday's because we're still in our summer program.
Our season doesn't officially start till August eleven. Next week
we're doing team camps. There's a lot of football. But
today was the last day of our weekly summer week.
On Thursday, upper bodylift. Well, in honor of Ozzy Osbourne
passing away in remembrance. Obviously, today was all Ozzy Osbourne
music in the weight room. So you can't play Iron
(01:29):
Man by Black Sabbath at low volume?
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Am I right?
Speaker 3 (01:33):
I agree with you totally.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
So got my dang Apple watch is constantly telling me
I need to turn the volume down, okay, because it's
scared I'm going to injure myself. So then not only
do have Ozzy Osbourne, you have to then coach weightlifting
over the top of Ozzy Osbourne. Thus my voice was
raspy or occurrences like last night we took the team,
we went and did the seven on seven against the
(01:55):
school in Boise. Then we went to this pool. I
rented this pool for us after right, and I got
the kids all corralled. I'm like, hey, we can't go
in yet. It's not you know, we rented this thing.
It's not for five more minutes. I got a freshman
or a sophomore who's not listening, making a break for
it thirty yards away. I got to get his attention.
Don't go in there right from like down in my
(02:17):
stomach yelling.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
My wife's like, yeah, that's why your voice hurts.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Oh my gosh, that's so awesome, coach Jordan Gross. But
I can agree with you because like at training camp
my first day or so, when you're calling out the cadence,
and yes there's some crowd there, but it's not like
a regular crowd noise. I have to you know, it
just takes a little bit to get the get the
old vocal cords.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
I remember that out of you. You'd be like, I
have a voice, it's not there yet. You got every
everything training camp, Jake. Everything has to get.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
In shape, there's no doubt.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Like even though I had was super strong, you know,
twenties and early thirties.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Incredibly strong. My neck, my dang neck.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
The first few days of camp was so sore from
touting that helmet even before we started pads on, you know,
just like that extra weight getting used to your cleats
and Jake, this time of year reminds me of blisters,
the unknown nuisance of the NFL or any football team. Jake,
did you get them as bad as some of us
(03:16):
did when camp would start?
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Well, I wore the different cleats than y'alls. I had
what I called the cadillacs. But my problem was the
inside of the right foot because every time everything I
did was lateral, so I'd drop back and whenever I
would put the foot down, so I would call us
up on the inside part of the.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Right heel and the inside part of the toe.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
That was more of the issues I dealt with, But
a lot of that was due to the sheer fact
that it was two days every day.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
You know where great segue, Yeah, because I wanted to
talk about this.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
It's not new, Jake. This has been the way it's
been for many years now.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
I just can't believe the difference in training camp from
now than it used to be. And I'm fully recognized
we are old. Has been talking about the old days, Jake.
But when I look, you know, at being on the
inside part of the Panthers media network, we get the
official schedule of training camp.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
We know what's happened and where.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
This morning the players had special teams meeting, team meeting,
offense meeting, defense regeneration, then defense meeting offense regeneration, then
at nine ten hydration and fuelling.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Jake, was that ever on any schedule we ever did?
Speaker 4 (04:34):
And I'm jealous, Okay, there's jealousy here, but I just
love that that's on the schedule.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
Jake, Yeah, Jordan, No, we had the old John Fox
two a days whenever we started practicing, when is Wednesday coming,
because that means that it was family nights, so you
didn't have meetings till ten o'clock.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
At least you can breathe a little bit for a
few hours in the evening.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
But yeah, listen, that's what the new CBA in twenty eleven,
that's what that turned out to be.
Speaker 3 (05:05):
And that's just the way of the world.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
And I do this is where I kind of feel
bad for some of the young kids.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
I really truly do so.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
One of the I guess the negotiating tactics or ploys was, oh,
we can only have so many padded practices, and we
as players in our union, thought that was a win.
I think that's a loss. I mean, the owners like,
of course they're gonna let us have that.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
To me, that's not a tactic.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
I mean, you're not getting guys better in a hurry.
You have to get calloused up in camp. That's what
camp does. You have to get calloused up. It seems
like the less practice we have now, it seems like there's.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
A lot more injury. So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I just think the lack of time these young kids
get to truly understand the program and learn the pro game,
it really kind of stunts their growth in my opinion.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Well, there's a lot of meeting time, and you know,
we would meet till later in the evening because we
were at Wawford.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
It was all different.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Time on task of doing the thing in a life
situation is definitely shortened, Jake.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
The callous thing.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
I remember we used to practice at three point thirty
as the second practice at Watford, and the temperature was
a thousand and the humidity was a thousand.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
I remember, lady, we do like it's so funny, like
how far it's come.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
We do the static stretch right right, Like you're just
laying there right, leg over left.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
You know, like like they did in Pe in the sixties.
Speaker 4 (06:28):
Right, And I'm laying there and I have the suns
on my face, I'm in full paths, and I'm like,
every day having a conversation is just really what you
want to be doing right now with your life right now?
Speaker 1 (06:39):
The answer is, hey, yeah, I want to be doing this.
But to the callous up point, Jake, But enough of
that we're jealous and we're old.
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Okay, you know what I loved about end of day yesterday,
catching up on the pressers and how the day go
and you know, hearing everything that went on. The number
one thing that was asked to Coach Canals by Joe
Person when he took the podium for the first time
talk to us about Princely getting a little close to
(07:08):
Bryce hitting the ball out of his hand to stay
off the quarterback.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
Jake, that is the best.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
I get such a kick out of stay off the
quarterback in training camp situations and the fuss that's made
of it. It gave me so much, so many throwback
or memories, Jake.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
Yeah, you know, Jordan, that's the one thing and the
one thing Coach Canalo said. We loved everything about it,
but I was trying to catch up after this morning's
practice and some of the things that you're starting to
hear is that Princely was trying to not hit Bryce.
It was a fantastic move, but he was actually trying
(07:45):
not to hit Bryce. So I think they're going to
retract some of that from what I'm starting to gather
a little bit that yes, stay away with the quarterback
don't go near the quarterback.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
I get it, but it's the first day.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
Guys are just flying around bodies is the best body.
Speaker 3 (08:00):
Are going to feel until next March. So yeah, they're rolling.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
But i'd they're going to retract it like in the paper. No,
I'm just like they're gonna built an official statement. I
Dave Canal is retract.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
No.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Obviously did in fact stay off. The quarterback has been
put to rest.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Bryce wasn't bothered by it at all. He say, hey, listen,
it just is what it is. But and that's the thing.
It's you know, I'd rather have that. I'd rather tell
how players kind of rain him back in and have
to kick him in the behind to get him going.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
So I don't know, that's that's my fault on that.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
The good news is an offensive lineman is if you
get beat and your guy that beat you in practice
gets too close to the quarterback, he gets yelled at
instead of you.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Stay up the quarterback. You're like, hey, nobody noticed he
beat me. That's good stuff.
Speaker 4 (08:51):
Hey, Josie Jewell released that was yesterday's news as well.
But that surprised me. You know, it's his status. I
had no idea what what where he was in the
return to play and all that stuff. But definitely it
really shows how important some of those off seasoning signing
words with signing signings were. With rose Boom and Wallace
(09:14):
not having him, that's gonna be a difference.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Man.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
He was only here a short time, but man, what
a presence he was on that defense.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Yeah, Jordan, that one hurt me. I'm gonna be very honest.
Speaker 1 (09:24):
That was agreed.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
That hurt me a good amount. I just think it's
more of the communication piece.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
Listen.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
We did a great job of getting some big, large.
Speaker 3 (09:35):
Men to play in front of the linebackers correct.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
And leading Derren Brown leading the charge coming back, but
just the communication piece, especially in EJ's defense.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Yeah, that that's Trevin.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
Wallace is gonna have every opportunity to step up rose Boom.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
Thank goodness we sign him.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
It sounds like he's wearing the green dot, meaning he'll
be the one calling the defenses. But Jordan, we all
know there's gonna be nixed along the way. And Trevin
Wallace was thrust into it last year and was able
to play and showed some flashes and then he had
to have surgery. So he's gonna have every single opportunity
to step up, and I mean that's what happened. Sometimes
(10:17):
you would have loved to have Josie for another year
or two, that veteran presence. One because he made play
this he was always around the football. That's one thing
that I always thought about it. But yeah, I wasn't.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
Aware of this, and that would hurt me. I don't
know any other way to put it. Jordan.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
I think that's a big loss, just the communication piece
for our defense, the guy, the conductor.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
That's called in the place.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Well normally a corner is not kind of the conductor
of the defense.
Speaker 1 (10:44):
And I don't think that will happen. But j C.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Horn had a big off season became a new dad
as well, which congratulations to him and welcome to the
whirldwind that that is.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
But I mean he's got to be I already felt
this way before Josie was released. But jac has gotta
be like the dude on defense now.
Speaker 4 (11:04):
Right, He's been rewarded handsomely, he's had an outstanding season
last year.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
He's more of a veteran player.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Now, we got to be able to hang our hat
on him, just kind of setting that tone in the
back end, letting that seep into that linebacker unit and
all the way down to the front.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Jake, what do you think we can expect from him
this season?
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Well, I think he's a kid.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
And I call him a kid because I saw him
on the side of his father when we were.
Speaker 3 (11:28):
Teammates with the Saints. So I literally watched this kid
in diapers.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Talented, big, aggressive, great tackler, and I want to see
more takeaways and I think that's gonna happen because of
what we did upfront. More pressure on the quarterback, more
better job of stopping the run where teams have to
throw it a little bit more. So I want to
see more takeaways and I think he's going to leave
that charge. I think Mike Jack also, that was such
(11:53):
a fine that we were able to get Mike Jack
in the middle of training camp last year, and he
got rewarded and he's won in listening to everything he
said after this contract, I found a team that believed
in me and I wasn't looking to go any other play,
so probably had an opportunity to leave, maybe for more money,
but he was like, I bounce around, this is where
I want to be, and he's a big, physical guy.
(12:14):
But yeah, certainly JC is one that we're going to
lean onto. And it's so early in camp, anxious to see.
I know Demani Richardson made a play early yesterday in
camp that was talked about how the ball always seems
to find him. We'd love to see some growth from him.
Trevor Morriggs on the big deal the safety. So yeah,
(12:35):
a lot of new pieces. Love I'll go back to it.
I love what we did, but I just think people
need to get in their mind that, hey, this is
a team that's building. This is a team that is
still in the building process. We won what a couple
of games in twenty three, we won five games in
twenty four. Let's take if we can win a few
more games this year and then continue to add to
(12:57):
this roster and get some young guys stepping up and
play playing effectively for us.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
I mean, that's that's kind of the mindset that we
need to have.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Well, the first time I read this stat the first
time since twenty nineteen that we're going into camp with
the same head coach GM and QB from the year before. Jake,
I'm sure you all we knew that. Everyone knew that
that's followed the team, but when you hear it's been
that many.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Years, it's incredible.
Speaker 4 (13:24):
So kind of the exhale, like, I love that we
don't have to talk about what do you think of
the first year? Fill in the blank, because for during
six years we've been doing that, Jake, and it just
seems like even from a distance, it just seems smoother.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
Like familiar. We know the people, we know how coach canal.
Speaker 4 (13:44):
It's like I could have told you what his tone
and energy was going to be in that first press
or Jake. So for him as a head coach to
now know second year, all right, man, what did we
do the first year during camp that I loved? What
do we do that we didn't love? You know what
can I change? The comfortable fact with his family and
his kids and you know, Dan Morgan the same thing, Jake.
I just feel like people been asking me what the
(14:06):
Panthers gonna do this year? You all, my friends, everybody
that I talked to. I said, I actually, I think
we're gonna make some We're gonna make some noise.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Man, I really do.
Speaker 4 (14:15):
And so coming in with this three three three headed monster,
the GM, the head coach, quarterback, everybody return.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
It and familiarity. Jac It's got to make us feel
good as Panther fans.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Yeah, I think it definitely does because I think you
were able to build in the offseason, and you know,
Dan didn't have to worry about trying to hire a coach,
and Canalis is there, he's not worrying trying to build
a staff.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
Now, O, Kate, what do we Let's go back. We're
watching every film.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
We're gonna break down everything, and even also in the
draft process, the Blueprint series that's on Panthers dot Com,
watching everything unfold, that was a direct line of communication
between It just seems like it's a three headed monster, right.
You have Dan, Brent, Tilas and Canals and they all
seem like they're all on the same page. Not to
(15:02):
say that there probably is not some disagreements, but you
talk about it, you talk about it, and you go forward.
I just think that's healthy. And certainly Bryce, I think
you're gonna see a different Bryce, a confident Bryce. We
saw it at the end of last year, and hopefully
we can take that next step because we did add
another piece of two. But there's a couple of players,
you know, and I'm transition to some players on the
(15:23):
team that I'll mention to see tremendous strides and jumps from,
Like JT.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
Sanders is a young kid that.
Speaker 2 (15:32):
I can't wait to watch play. He had to play
last year and I think he had a welcome to
the NFL moment in Week one against Chase Young. He
got knocked in the backfield pretty quick one time, and
there's no other I guess, teacher, than getting kind of embarrassed,
to be quite honest, And that's what happened on that
(15:52):
play and what you're hearing about him.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
He dropped about ten pounds. He looks faster.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
Young kids when they get to the NFL you realize, yeah,
this is this is.
Speaker 1 (16:01):
A grown man's league.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
This is very different. You start to learn how to
prepare yourself a little better in the weight room, eat
a little better. Oh I need to worry about this.
There's something about it.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
And I just think all of that, combined with the
continuity of the coaching staff the front office, I just
I think that leads to growth and progression and that's
what I'm amation to see from this team.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
Well, you said it earlier about the limited reps in camp.
Speaker 4 (16:25):
That's what that's where you get better at that stuff
is now with what the schedule is.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Man, we got pads on, we've got a live drill.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
We've got nine on seven or team run or whatever
you want to be like, that's those are such precious reps, Jake,
and what I love about our team right now, I'm
knocking on wood, So it's okay for me to say this,
but we're pretty healthy, man, going into camp. You know,
Tommy trembled out with that late back surgery he had
in May, and coach Canalis has been kind of clear
(16:55):
by being unclear about when he can return, knowing like, hey,
we probably aren't gonna be able to count.
Speaker 1 (16:59):
On him for a while.
Speaker 4 (17:00):
But overall, I mean, Austin Corbett back at center. We're
going into this thing in decent position health wise.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
No, we are Jordan, and that's the thing. Can we
stay healthy. We battled that bug last year. Can we
stay healthy and we're gonna We're gonna lose somebody along
the way.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
I mean, that's just that's part of it.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
It happened.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
So can we stay healthy and minimize it and then
get good play?
Speaker 3 (17:25):
I mean, I think that's the biggest thing. Just get
some really really good.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Play from our football team and just keep building it.
You know, we said in the offseason, we said it
at the end of the year when we kind of
wrapped up. To me, it finally feels like there's some direction.
Ever since I started doing this in twenty nineteen, you know,
Ron Rivera was still here in nineteen, it was just
(17:50):
one of those that you had Christian McCaffrey. But ever
since then, it's just been kind of where the COVID
year and then we went through the head coaches and
things like that.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
Now it feels it was like, Okay, let's go in
the same direction. It feels like we're going in that way.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
What's receiver?
Speaker 4 (18:05):
Are you more excited to watch Jake this preseason McMillan
or Renfro.
Speaker 3 (18:11):
You know, I'm gonna say neither. I think it's I
think it's Leete.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
That's not a joke. To Renfro.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
I'm like, it's so excited to see what he does
with the second opportunity.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
You know.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
But here's the thing. This is gonna sound crazy. I
know what Hunter Renfro is already like, I'm not I
know what to expect. He's gonna probably become one of
Bryce's favorite guys because he's going to be the most dependable.
He's going to go in and out of breaks, great hands,
he is going to understand leverage, understand coverage.
Speaker 3 (18:43):
He's a security blanket. That's what that I mean, that's
what he's gonna be.
Speaker 2 (18:47):
I mean, he had some health issues and it's been
talked about and that. It's like I expect that. And
you know, the young kid. I want to see his
catch radious. I want to see him catch the football
and things like that. But I'm just telling you, you
get there were some things that I saw from him
last year and he was still so young, and yes
he had a couple of drop passes and crucial situations,
(19:08):
but just the sheer size and how powerful he is.
And I've seen video of him this offseason. He had
the Flint Survey and I'm telling you there's just something
about this kid. And I'm not saying he's going to
leave the team in reception. It's not that at all.
I just think he's going to be an impact player
for us. This big, strong, physical young man who understands
(19:28):
what the NFL is about.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Now, that's that's the one that's.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
Did you see him swimming in the lake on the
getaway trip with the receivers in Bryce Young in Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Did you see that clip?
Speaker 2 (19:40):
I saw it about thirty five times, probably the greatest things.
Speaker 3 (19:45):
I had an absolute ball watching it. I love things
like that. That's what's so great. And I just I
loved everything about it. Listen. He was a correspondent for
the NFL at the Kentucky Derby.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
So I saw outstanding. Yeah, outstanding.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
I loved it all.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
Treville Wharton did not like getting in lakes either because
he was afraid of a snapping turtle was gonna get him.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
Oh, I can't stop laughing, Jordan.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
I just so.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
We lured him into the lake one time, same deal.
We were on in the boat doing the same activities
and then somebody threw in like something like a rock.
I think they brought a rock on board or something.
They threw it like behind him. We got trevail into
the water. There's no snapping turtles, and everything's fine. He
was looking one way. We threw the rock in the
lake and said turtle and man, that big fellow. He
(20:32):
got out of the boat like he was exavierly get man.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
It was guys, want to go sp Jake. But seeing
the guys want to go spend time together and do that.
Speaker 4 (20:42):
And like it appears to be sincere and genuine that
they're having fun together. Like that isn't exactly gonna win
you games, Jake, But to your point, like things just
feel so much better, Like we know each other, we
know the team, we know what we want from coach Canalis.
Like it's not new and fresh, we don't. It's not uphill,
(21:06):
it's rolling a little bit.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Yeah, Jordan, I'm the same way. Can't get here soon enough.
I'm looking forward to it. I'm excited. I'm gonna be
able to do a couple of other games on preseason,
you know, Panther televisions.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
That's what I'm excited about. I'm to do two of them.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
At home, and that's something new. But even though it's preseason,
you know, Jordan, I wasn't that first.
Speaker 5 (21:29):
Round pick like yourself, so I never knew if I
was gonna make a team for my first basically six
years in the NFL, or should I say four, So
the preseason was my life. That was and I've always
held that in high regard, you know, And I understand
it's lost some of its luster with not only three
games and all these practices with.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Other teams, but still there's young kids at the bottom
of the rosters that are fighting for a job. And
that's something that I just I never take that for granted.
That's something that yeah, you.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Might have taken off your shoulder pass at the second
half of a game and put on tennis shoes on,
things like that. But I always tried to be that guy.
I wanted to be there. I wanted to be steady
because the young quarterbacks behind me, they were fighting for
a job, these young receivers, linemen, linebackers, whatever it may be.
Speaker 3 (22:16):
And so I'm looking forward to it. It can't get
here soon enough.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Last thing I want from you got to talk about
quarterback a little bit. What do you expect from him
in year three? And is this this is I won't
ask it, I'll say it. This is a critical year
for kind of the trajectory of his career. Year three
as a rookie, A big year for Bryce young man.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Well, of course it is. I mean it's year three,
and look, you just go back to last year.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
I think you know, after you know, September or even
October last year, I don't think many of us would
be thinking that Bryce would be the lone guy in
twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (22:54):
But as fate would have it, he gets back.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
In there, becomes a different player, becomes the Bryce that
who was drafted number one overall because of how he
played in college and he just he had that magic
to him, and so.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
It's a huge year for him. I expect some more growth.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
I expect like what we did offensively last year, especially
with the receivers.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Coming back and the tight ends and the old line.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
We're gonna expand we should be able to expand we're
gonna have more of a bigger menu of plays we
can call from. Canalis is gonna know him and Itzig.
You're gonna know what Bryce likes, what he does best,
and what he's very comfortable with.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
And then what have we worked.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
On in the offseason, what we were able to get
to to And so that's what I want to see
iss just continued growth, that's what it has to be.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Well, it's gonna be a lot of fun to watch, Jacob.
Speaker 4 (23:42):
I'm excited to get back talking with you every week,
something I always look forward to. Next week more of
the same, and I think we're weekly now, man, all
the way through the end of this run.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Yeah, Jordan, I'm looking forward to it, man. It's it's
always a pleasure to catch up with you. I know
you're really busy, you know, being a head high school
football coach. In the fact that you've had and you
know you've had a young player I believe commit to
Utah one of your tackles, and I'm assuming you have
one or two others on your team that are getting recruited.
And so I love hearing about all that because that's
(24:12):
where it all starts. On Friday nights and lea and
if you're good enough, it leads into Saturdays, and if you're.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
One of the elite, it leads in the Sundays. And
that's what we love talking about it is this Sunday man.
Speaker 1 (24:22):
I love it. Jake. All right, well you'd be good.
I'll talk to you next week, all
Speaker 3 (24:24):
Right, man, take care
