Speaker 1 (00:02):
Jordan and Jake. Good.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I'm excited, ready to go the bomp stops.
Speaker 1 (00:07):
He throws at a crossfield.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
Guess who, George Grouse? Here are your panther?
Speaker 4 (00:13):
Hall of Honor remembers Jordan Gross and Jake Dillome?
Speaker 3 (00:20):
Is this episode three? Is that? Jake? Is that where
we're at episode three of the Jordan and Jake podcast?
Speaker 1 (00:25):
For this, I think is.
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Already blurring together. So it's happening so fast.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
I just remember episode one because you had the coach
brass people.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
Well, yeah, you had just started practice.
Speaker 3 (00:37):
You gotta get in game shape, Bud. That's what the
three seasons four I can. I could go back to
that at any moment, depends on how practice goes for
a couple of days. But so far, so good.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
Well that's a good thing.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
What's what's going on to you? You traveled, You want
to hear about the game, but you traveled, h and
you're traveling again this weekend, just getting taking care of
business in between. You like Greg, You're like Greg Olsen,
just traveling every weekend for football.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Yeah no, I'm not like Greg.
Speaker 3 (01:07):
Poor Man's Greg Olsen is what I'm gonna call you.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah, very poor I can only the name.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Of this episode producer Matt poor Man's Greg Old.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Yeah, if I could, uh, you know, I would give
anything to be able to walk in Greg Olsen's shoes.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
Shoes right.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
Did you happen to see the episode he was on
with Busting with the Boys where they were talking. Did
I talk about this last week? I think I might
have about uh him talking about high school football.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Yep, No, we kind of briefly mentioned it.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm just reading the high still from him
talking about that. But anyway, So you traveled to time,
You traveled again this weekend, you traveled last time.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
I'm actually I'm not doing it this weekend. We're moving
the youngest into college.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
So oh yeah, okay, yeah, but I did travel last week.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
It was great to be back in Charlotte and see
a lot of familiar faces and just great to get
back to some football.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
You know. Even talked off the game. Yeah, let's go
right into it, please do, please do?
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Yeah, go right into it. So preseason game. Got to
see our starters. Not bad out of Bryce Young and company.
First drive was quick, but then they go down and
score a testdown looking for white white pants, blue top.
My least favorite combo. I just got to say that.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
Really, that did not bother me one bit.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
I know you don't notice stuff like that, but I do. Plus,
like no logos in the end zone. It was just, man,
this didn't look like the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Yeah that's different.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
And in the sidelines some of the torps are not
down yet because man, I think he had a soccer
game the night before, possibly, so there's.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
So much going on. But yeah, it's uh it definitely.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
You know, it's not fully dressed, but you're not supposed
to be fully dressed, right, because well they.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
Were fully dressed, Jake. Yeah, that's incorrect.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
The whole everything that encompasses a true game day.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
But listen, it was good to.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Be back, good to see all the guys, and good
to see some football.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
And I'm like, you, you know, wanted to watch a
couple of players. And yeah, we knew Derek.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Brown wasn't gonna play, jac Horn wasn't gonna suit up.
But I think the biggest thing, you know, you hear
all week long we had production meeting and play fast
play tempo and and things like that, and I just
loved offensively, Yeah, three and out on the first drive,
but watching Bryce operate watching him play the accuracy, I
(03:28):
think it just it just feels like the last month
of the season and he and it seems like he's
playing that way, playing fast, making checks, making adjustments. You
got the beautiful fade route to t Mac on the sideline.
He was able to keep the sideline and Steve and
I addressed it during the game. I said, it's so
(03:48):
important when you run a go route, especially a young receiver,
you just want to get past the dB and run well.
You get pushed to the sideline, and the sideline's an
extra defender, and that's what the deep he wants you
to do.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
But he was able to get on top and stack him.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
What I mean by that, he was able to keep
about a four to five yard.
Speaker 1 (04:07):
Distance from his outside shoulder to the sideline.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
And Bryce was able to drop the ball and he
made a fantastic catch. He made another catch a little
later on and he actually had it was a drop
in the end zone. But if you think about it,
he just didn't get his head around quick enough because.
Speaker 1 (04:24):
It was a double move. You know.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
He went to the post, one step, back to the corner,
and back across the corner's face again and Bryce let
the ball go anticipation, accuracy, and he bounced off his
hand and he knew right away and he looked back
at Bryce and he gave a thumbs up, like I've
got to get my head around quicker and those are
things that that's what's preseasons for.
Speaker 1 (04:45):
But yeah, nice to see that.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Jalen Koker once again had him feeling, you know, made
a play to Tari Carter was able to start at
left guard. D Lue sat out, gave up a pressure
early in the game, but other than that really played well.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
So yeah, it was it was good to see.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
And defensively, certainly not a bunch of guys playing, but
the first team defense are the majority.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
Of them when they were in there, really did a
nice job.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
It's good to see some of the new pieces, you know,
like you watch a Bobby Brown, it's a big man,
a big man that's gonna help turk Wart. You can
just tell it's gonna be that energizer Bunny him and
Nick Scordon.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
Also you watch Scorton just have a motor princely.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
He's long and can bend it, can move like guys
are gonna help us. Pat Jones DJ want I'm a healthy, DJ,
So I'm looking forward to the season big test. Right
as we're taping this, the Panthers will be practicing against
Houston tomorrow in Houston, and it's twofold. One that's a
very good football team with a lot of talent. But two,
(05:48):
it's going to be hot today and we're on the
same plane as Houston, same weather, one hundred and seven
heat index, humidity through the roof, so it will be
hot tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Get great, great work.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Because we open up in Jacksonville and it's been very
rainy and Charlotte and some of the practices, the weather
hasn't been that bad.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
So yeah, good work against Houston tomorrow. Anxious to hear
how that goes.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
Fortunately, that practice is scheduled excuse me, for nine am,
so it'll only be super muggy. Shouldn't be terribly hot yet, Jake,
they'll be like the Spartanburg days.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Right, I get it.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
But like, okay, So right now, as we're taping this,
it's in the morning and it is ninety two degrees already.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
I mean, it's it's I'm telling you, it's just you know,
it's not Spartanberg hot.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I go to Spartanburgh because it was easier than it
was in South Louisiana.
Speaker 3 (06:40):
It's a different Okay, I'm just telling you, gotcha, Well.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
I'm not. Well, the game the same.
Speaker 3 (06:45):
The game on Saturday is at noon kickoff local times,
so that should be getting Maybe they close the dome indoors.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
Yeah, it'll be indoors, it'll be coming it.
Speaker 3 (06:54):
You ever played any football games at that stadium, Jake.
Speaker 1 (06:57):
Yeah, it might have.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I was, you know, first game at that stadium, first
game ever. I am backing up a rookie out of
North Carolina and we're playing the Panthers.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
I got there that week.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
No, your first game ever there was you know three.
Well that's what I was getting. I was getting at
the super Bowl. But we could talk about the end
of your career if you'd like, Yeah, well, hey, I was.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
It Richie Brockle.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Richie Brockle fumble, Yeah, exactly, annexation of Puerto Rico. We
called it fumble Ruski, but that's really what it was.
That's his famous moment. What did you think of the
league fight? Getting ejected, Jake? He apologized kind of to
the fans and like a little frustrated, but I just
think that stuff's awesome. It's so funny. We're talking about
(07:46):
fighting last week on the podcast and then there's a
fight today. But he's lucky to break his hand. He
went fast with the punches to the helmet. Jake. It
was just you're not thinking clearly at that point.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
No, you're not thinking clearly.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
They were locked up, and I guess they you know,
the face mask is being grabbed and the boom boom
boom combination, and uh yeah, I think that's the biggest thing, Jordan, Like,
you don't want to see that.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
We want to see you on the field.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
I can't have that. I'm glad it was the preseason.
It was addressed. I think he apologized. He totally understood
that was out of character for him. Kind of sounds
like out of character for both players.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
But that's why.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Yeah, though, Jake, did you hear the crowd cheering it's
like hockey?
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Yeah, yeah I did. But I want him in the field, Jordan.
I want him because is he out this week?
Speaker 3 (08:33):
Is he out this week because he got ejected?
Speaker 1 (08:36):
I don't believe.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
I don't think that's okay. All right, Yeah, I can't
remember what the rules are in the preseason I think that.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
I think the ejection piece of it that is more
high school in college.
Speaker 3 (08:46):
I don't know, but I don't. I don't know what
pre season rules were at all. That's because what do
you think is the fine though? Is full in season value.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
You would think to find.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah, so the only ejection will be money ejected out
of his paycheck.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
That's all.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
I'll tell you. What I did like that the Panthers
did was playing McMillan extra. He got work with the
second with the Andy Dalton and the second group. I
thought that was a great move for a young guy,
you know, limited preseason, less practice, all the stuff we've
all talked about too much. I love seeing him get
some extra plays out there.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Jake, Yeah, Jordan, I'm all about like getting some plays
and getting some reps. I just think it.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
You can practice all you want and you get really
good work. And I'm speaking probably more so quarterback wise.
You're just you so insulated with a red jersey or
a practice jersey, and you get a little too brave
and a little too comfortable in the pocket. Sometimes you
gotta be able to feel that rush and.
Speaker 1 (09:43):
It becomes real. Because week one it's very different.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Most everyone's healthy, and everyone's flying around, and your eyes
are not truly truly adjusted.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
Did you see that? Tuesday night, the Panthers did a
joint practice with a little eleven and under youth football
team from the Pala League coach by CMPD police officers.
How sweet was that? Jake? And I tell you also
being a youth football coach also, to be able to
go do that with those kids, Holy moly, what a
(10:14):
cool deal. And they were getting into it too. I
saw some of the clips. That's full tackle football. Jake.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, Jordan, Let mean just think about it.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
You're getting to go on the Panthers field and around
like guys that you you worship, right, and then you
just see the sheer size and you watch how our
players interact with them.
Speaker 1 (10:34):
They became kids again, do you want?
Speaker 2 (10:36):
I mean like it's that's that was that was them,
that was us what ten twelve, fifteen years ago right now?
Speaker 3 (10:43):
On?
Speaker 2 (10:43):
Not you and I, but you know the players. He
what and just to get to see those guys.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
And what How awesome was that? I just love things
like that.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Well, what I think is neat is Dave Kanalis just
built in a lot of this stuff, you know, into
this program and it's different. It's like practices are short there.
They get out of there a little earlier than you know,
possibly they could. There's the schedule on looking at the
training camp schedule that all of us staff guys get.
There's family staff dinner Thursday night when they get to Houston.
(11:18):
Just making time to like kind of enjoy and he
talks about it. Coach Canwals all the time, talks about, man,
this is fun. You got what a great day? You know,
he starts his press conferences with such energy and what
a great day this is and can you believe this?
And you see like him just appreciating beating on the
field and it shows in the players. And then they
get the opportunity to be around those young kids and
(11:39):
they're engaged. You know, Icky's trying to get reps at
tackle out there on the field. They're cheering them on. Man,
it's just it's good stuff if it converts to winning,
because that ultimately that's what it's all about. It's like,
you know, I pay attention to the way that he's
doing things, and man, it sure seems like he's got
it moving in the right direction. Jacob I enjoy being
(11:59):
around it.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah, it's it's fun to see and it's all about
it's it's about bringing out that competition aspect, right and
that's the Pete Carroll way. And you're hearing stories out
of Las Vegas right now with the Raiders just just
oh my gosh, it's just so different.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Everything's about competing, and.
Speaker 2 (12:18):
But we're gonna have fun and we're gonna compete and
we're gonna coach you up.
Speaker 1 (12:21):
And that's what it's about. Man.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
This game is very difficult and hard, and to touch
what you talked about with the family deal, like it's
this is your family.
Speaker 1 (12:31):
You're away from your family. I mean, this is your family.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
And it's good to be able to do that with
the family and things like that because it's a long,
hard season and hopefully there's a lot of wins baked
into it so we can truly enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
But there's gonna be times where it's gonna be tough.
It's very tough. It's difficult, it's hard times. The body's
gonna hurt, your battle throwing.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
The injury, and you know, it's it's it's a long,
hard season. And when you can create an environment that
it's fun to come to work, and yes it's tough,
and yes we're going to have constructive criticism, that's what
it's about.
Speaker 1 (13:03):
But you just you kind of create that environment and
makes it. It makes a championship environment.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
You know, he's at it.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
Pup.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
The last couple of seasons I'm rooting for is Austin Corbett,
and when we came into camp this year there was
the competition between him and Caid Mays. Coach Canalis is
seen enough, he says. Corbett's our guy and Cad now
is in the rotation. With Lewis out with the shoulder
deal at left guard, Cade's getting some reps there with
the ones at left guard. But that's a guy, man.
(13:31):
I want to see him healthy. I want to see
him you play a full season lead that group just
continuing on with kind of that attitude that I love
out of Coach Canals. I see it with Corvett. I've
got to be around him a little bit and just
kind of love his energy. Jake, but I was so
happy to see him as that starter because I know
those old line guys love him and it's got to
be comfortable for Bryce Young to have a veteran like that.
(13:52):
He's taking snaps from.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Yeah, Jordan, I can agree with you there.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
I've gotten to know Austin, i'd like to say, fairly
decent and great human being.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
The game means so much to him.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
He's had a couple of injuries, toughout the last three years,
and I know we're better when he's in there, and
I look forward to a healthy h Corbett and uh,
he just seems like he's that leader. He's that glue guy.
And Kaye Mays, I mean, still just a young kid
who stepped in and I think I read where he's
getting some some opportunities playing a little goard. We're going
(14:23):
to need him at some point, right, You're gonna have
to just depth wise, it's always crucial.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
And I'll say it again, the seventeen game season.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
That's long, man, It's long as hard and Yeah, but
Austin very happy for him and hopefully we can stay
as healthy as possible heading into the season.
Speaker 3 (14:42):
A lot of receivers were getting a lot of pub
in the preseason. Jake obviously, T mac feeling Legett listed
as our starters, but man more, renfro Coker, Jimmy Horn Junior,
how do you I love all the weapons that it
seems like we've assembled. How do you think it's going
to play out when it gets down to the final roster, Jake,
(15:04):
this is gonna be an interesting situation.
Speaker 1 (15:07):
I think it definitely will be.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
I think special teams will play a very crucial factor
in all this. But I think the big thing, and
I think I heard Dave Canalis say it, you just
worry about your play on the field, on the practice field,
in the meeting rooms, and the games and things will
take care of itself. Hopefully there's not an injury that
happens that that kind of makes a decision for someone.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
But you just let it play out. I've always believed
that you just let it play out.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
In the more competition you can create, it kind of
raises everyone's game. So yeah, it's a I'm anxious to
see Renfro in a game type situation.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
I'm not sure what the whole situation will be going
into the game on Saturday.
Speaker 2 (15:46):
Yes, they have the practice against the Texans on Thursday.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
So I don't know exactly how that will go.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
But yeah, I want to see I want to see
him because certainly coming out of hearing coaches talk, hearing
players talk, it's certainly sounds like he's a difficult cover, right,
and we know t Mac.
Speaker 1 (16:04):
We saw some of the plays he made. I think
feeling you just kind of understand.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
But one thing that I heard Canal's say last week, Hey, listen,
three receivers basically kind of play. I mean, there's not
enough footballs to go around, so it's gonna be who's
the three. The coaching staff feels on the top three,
So it's gonna be interesting how it all plays out.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
It's crazy how fast this preseason goes, because this is
the last time we'll see the starters play. What do
you think, Jake, two quarters, quarter and a half. I mean,
they're not going to go into the second half. I
couldn't imagine. What do you think that because in the
you know, the way it is, they're not the starters
are not playing against Pittsburgh the following week, and then
(16:46):
it's like three weeks until there's a game. How do
you think the snapcounts are going to go?
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Yeah, Jordan, I think a lot is going to be
predicated on, most likely how the practice goes with the Texans.
I mean, if you get great quality work, big time work,
and you can see, you know, things that are moving
in your favor or direction. I think that's gonna be.
That's gonna determine a lot. Yeah, Jordan, I don't know
exactly how.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
We'll play out.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
It was so easy, I guess you can say way
back when when you had the four preseason games and
you could kind of gear up, you knew exactly how
it was gonna go.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
But after the last preseason game, then you have a
bye week. In essence, every team has that bye week
to get yourself ready for Week one.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
So yeah, I'm not exactly sure how it's all gonna
play out and who they're gonna.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Decide to play and not play. And but that's where
you know, as coaches getting.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
The big bucks, you know Canalla has changed what he
did from last year and not playing many starters to
this year.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
You know, you learn about your team and what what
do you think they need?
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Absolutely, Jake, and learning about our team. I like looking
at all the projections right now. Right so I read
an ESPN article they said we're gonna the ceiling and
the floor record wise for every team. So so take
it with what with a grain of salt, whatever you
want to do with this, Jake. They got the panther
ceiling at ten and seven, floor at five and twelve.
(18:09):
X factor the defense. Can it go from one of
the worst or the worst statistically in some categories last
year twenty twenty four huge focus in the offseason with
Dan Morgan and company. But that's where it looks like
they say it up to the defense. If we go
five and twelve or ten and seven. Jake, what do
you think?
Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah, Jordan, I I hate to put a number on it.
I guess I always make you every year, though I know.
Speaker 3 (18:34):
Listen and you don't have to do it right now
because I'll probably ask you all. I'll forget that we
talked about it.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
I just think I want to see continued growth. I
think for me, if we have five wins, I'd be disappointed.
I'd love to see this kind of hit that seven
threshold and maybe get one or two more. Hel I'd
love to get twelve, Jordan, But I think we need
to be realistic.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
We're still developing this roster. This roster is not there yet.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
We're still developing, and we've had a couple of injuries
like our mishaps already. At linebacker, you know, Josie Joe
anticipated starter he's.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Not there anymore. On this team's Claude Cherless went down
with a groin. Hopefully he's not out long next week.
Hopefully he's not out long and and he can come back.
But you know, you gotta stay injury free. But I'm
like you.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
We addressed the offensive line after the twenty twenty three season,
check mark.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
That was good.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
The defensive defense after last year we needed to address.
Speaker 1 (19:28):
I think we addressed the d line a great amount.
We addressed the safety position. But getting Derek Brown back
and our defense will be better. I don't think there's
any doubt.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
We've got to stay healthy there, especially cornerback wise and
safety wise.
Speaker 1 (19:45):
Can we get another safety to emerge? We signed Trev Morrigan.
Can we get another one till you meerge out of
this bunch?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
So yeah, Jordan, I would love us to hit the
seven threshold plus or minus. Might like to think more
plus a game or two there, but growth once again,
continued growth, and see where.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
We're going forward, Jordan. We don't know who our kicker
is yet. Eddie was a very consistent kicker to me.
One of the interesting facets is now it's special teams
with the ball coming out to the thirty five yard line.
There's going to be more returns because you don't want
to kick it into the end zone. I mean the
thirty five yard line.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
The way kickers are nowadays, two first downs, you're kicking
a field goal, you're giving up points. So seven year
field goal kicked this week exactly. Gunner special teams. We
don't have our gunners from last year. Both of them
are going Lonnie Johnson and Sam Franklin. So still some
questions to be decided on this team, and that's what
preseason's for.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
But you know, just continued growth is where I'm at.
Speaker 3 (20:46):
Last thing before we go, Jake, have a little fun.
I love watching Panthers social media. They they pulled the
guys randomly as they were getting onto the practice field.
What's your Mount Rushmore of dipping sauces? So it could
be you know, catchup ranch whatever, Jake Dilome, I'm gonna
ask you, what's your Mount Rushmore of dipping sauces? That
there's four people on Mount Rushmore, so I'm gonna need four.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Wow, let's see. Well, thanks for telling me there's four
people on Mount Rushmore.
Speaker 3 (21:12):
You do you know you're down there in the South
that's a long ways away.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
Oh yeah, you're right, that's right. We're in the third
world country down in the South.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
I've been to the Mount Rushmore. It's actually way cool.
But anyways, dipping sauces.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Man Jordan, I'm not a I don't really use that much,
but if I will, I mean, listen, ketchup.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
You gotta go with ketchup. I think that's one, you know.
For wings? Yeah, I like, I like Ranch, but man,
i can go Ranch our blue cheese, and I'm gonna
tell you one and you're gonna laugh at me.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
There is a pizza local chain down here.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
They have three locations, all in the Lafayette area.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
They make the French dressing and I'm telling you they
sprinkle some cayenne pepper in it or whatnot.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
It's like little rant specs. It is fabulous.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
So those would be three, and I gotta go with
one more, a little spicy mayoo.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Spicy mayo. Yeah, so those will be about four.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
All right, not bad. I go Catship, even though I'm
kind of like graduating out of it. I feel like
but French fries. You know, I'm blue cheese on wings.
I'll go Ranch, but I'm blue cheese.
Speaker 1 (22:23):
I'm like you, Yeah, I'm agree with you there.
Speaker 3 (22:26):
Anyway, either way, French dressing just sounds horrible. Uh, but
I would probably go with I got this thing called
truff It's truffle oil, hot sauce. It's outstanding. It's really expensive,
and then spicy mayo exactly. I put it on a
lot of stuff. I put it on a lot of stuff.
All right, thanks for letting me have a little fun there, Jake.
A lot of Texans. After this week is over, I'm
(22:48):
on game week next week. We got a game already
next week, so things are heating up.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Is the team okay? Is the team fully prepared? Or
do you like the direction you're in or you're ahead
of schedule.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
I'll tell you, I'm gonna say one thing, and you
tell me how we're doing. One of my linebackers day
one of practice, it was hot out, not Louisiana hot,
and we were super up tempo practice right, conditioning built
in to the practice flow, Like we're making a move,
we're doing team period. He pukes and the ball snapped
and then he immediately just goes running to the ball
(23:22):
in the team run drill. How are we doing?
Speaker 1 (23:24):
Yeah? He probably needs to be team captain.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
Exactly. It was through the helmet. He drank too much
water during the water break. You know how that goes,
pukes through the face mask, boom immediately to the ball.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
It was all right. So it sounds like, sounds like.
Speaker 3 (23:43):
Well, we're not ready, but we're on the right track.
Good time, anybody, I'll see you next week.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
Man, be good sounds good bye bye, Thanks
