Speaker 1 (00:00):
All you've been through here, I mean is what what
does this mean to you? And what is this like?
Pre game? H man?

Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's a blessing, you know to be in this situation
because you know, the last two years I was wasn't
even close to this.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
You know, how do things change in terms of kind
of just started at the mindset and how you go
about the business.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Uh, I think we need to keep it the same,
you know for us, you know, uh, keep taking the
game by game and you know, go out there and
play to our identity.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
What just do you kind of know what you're gonna
get out of the bills at this point the times
you face them.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
And yeah, yeah they are. It's it's always a good
game between us two. You know.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
Uh, it's gonna be a dog fight and it's gonna
be who want to play for sixty minutes?

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Appreciate what that? What would that mean to just take
down the depending champ for five time defending champs? Your boys?

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Blessing?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
You know.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Hopefully the fans you know, come be loud. I know
they will. They're going to be loud, and uh definitely
give them a you know, a good show. Drake was
saying that we'd like to elevate his play for every
every game that consequences get bigger, bigger. Just see him
what makes him that trade that you see? Definitely that's
a big play guy.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
You know, he's always making the play, you know, even
with his arm or his his sweet legs.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You know, uh, the guy, the guy is a hooper.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
He'd be balling and uh, I know he's gonna do
his thing.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
Even this year.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
I want you you've seen him grow from game to
game a lot. You know, every game, you know, you're
growing in some aspect.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
You know, I feel like you know, his communication, his
you know, leadership definitely been growing and it's noticeable.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
Do you think the comparisons between Drake and Josh Allen
are warranted?

Speaker 3 (01:39):
And now we don't compare, We don't compare. That's Drake,
Drake is Drake. Watch Drake and Josh.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Watched Drake and Josh as a kid.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
I did kids watch him. I used to watch.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Know, just what are you doing those MVP chance when
you're hearing.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Those from I'm chanting it too. When they yelling, I'll
be yelling it too, So that'd be fun.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Yesterday's step was talking about how he feels like the
receiver group is an unselfish group, and even though everybody
wants the ball, you know, there's there's something about this
unit where it doesn't bother you. If it's not your
weak necessarily, Why do you think you guys are the
way you are?

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Man?

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Just how close we got, you know, as we got closer,
you know, we believe that we got the guys.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
You know, we all can make.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Plays, and when our opportunity is called, you know, that's
what we have to make that play.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
And I believe in our group.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
You know, I believe our group could make any play
that's on the field, based.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
On what you've seen on tape, what your experienced when
you park. What makes them the second ranked past defense?

Speaker 3 (02:46):
They say that again, what makes them such a difficult
past defense? I guess I guess they disguise. I guess
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
Just how tall a task is not growing up against
the defense?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
No, No, it's definitely gonna be attashed, you know, definitely
after the first game.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
You know, they definitely gonna come with a chip on
their shoulder. So you know we're gonna have to definitely play.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
But that's already on our you know, our mind every
game we're.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Coming out with a chip on our shoulder just to
come play and ball.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Do you feel like you guys have already exceeded a
lot of expectations, you know, in terms of the number
of wins you already have this year?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Do you guys get motivated by that?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
Like people you know, do you ever say that to yourself,
like nobody believed we've been eleven to two or even
have eleven wins period this season?

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Like does that motivate you guys at all?

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Or I don't think our conversation should go like that.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
I don't really pay attention to the outside world because
that hinders a lot of people. When you, uh, you know,
go look at Twitter and stuff like that, it can
mess up your game. So I don't even look at,
you know, the outside stuff no more. So we don't
even talk like that. We talk like, dang boy, we
in this position as of from last year. You know, uh,
from last year. I've been talking to the people who

(03:57):
dealt with you know, last year and our record in
black bro, we won eleven games.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
It's crazy. Like when I talk to Gonzo, we were like, bro,
we won eleven games. It's crazy, and it's a blessing?

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Is there any chip on your tuld? Like you know
Stephangan was talking about this yesterday.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
A lot of guys in here, like your six round pick,
who is a six round pick? Steph was traded. You know,
there's a lot of guys that he called I think
the word he used was outcasts. But like, do you
feel like you have you have players that are that
are motivated because at some point in time somebody.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Told you no, Yeah, no, definitely.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I know a lot of people definitely probably definitely playing
with the chip on their shoulder and blessed to be
in this position.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
But also you know a lot of people have a
why of why they do this.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
You know they people's are family or something like that,
or it's just trying to make it out.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
So uh, I feel like both both get you know.
But that why it pushes a lot of people to yeah,
thanks for your time.

Speaker 6 (04:52):
Man and controller controllers?

Speaker 3 (04:55):
What that?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
What was your reaction? Just your own place when you're
the one looking for the the title?

Speaker 6 (05:00):
I mean, to be honest, I don't really care, you know,
because you can be favorites, underdogs, It doesn't matter. What
matters is in here and you know what we do
at practice and how we get ready and how we
execute on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
What was your takeaway from the initial Josh Allen experiences
here was what would you think of Josh?

Speaker 6 (05:21):
A good player? He nice his mother, you know, he
can make anything happen at any moment. Talented with his
legs and arms is big. Uh, He's a good player.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
How much just what they did against the Bengals, the
fact that they had that comeback the way.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
They did, I mean, what is the message.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
That shows a lot man? They play four quarters of
football man and they execute no matter what it is.
If the odds are against him, they's still you know,
he's still getting after, he's still trying to win. And
obviously it's shutting a good.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
How much have you seen that those since what's time?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (05:54):
You know they've all I mean, they also picked up
some new players, you know obviously you know, evolved the
game and their game plan and what they do and
they're playing good ball.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
Run.

Speaker 5 (06:04):
You have a kind of mental week comparato to say,
as a team like that where you know they are
in it until the final whistle in a kind of.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Rementless in the way that you come back.

Speaker 6 (06:12):
I mean you prepared like that for every game because
you never know, Like I abould say, it's the NFL,
I mean, everybody's good and uh it's always for a
quarters of football. You can't just let up or what
coach is taking naps, you know, because you never know
what can happen.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
So what's Mike Smestering been like this week?

Speaker 6 (06:26):
With the big opportunity? You know, just go out there
and be president, man, and go out there execut and
do what we do. I think that's the biggest thing.
It's just being president and taking advantage of the moment.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Would it mean something to.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
Be able to get it done in front of the
who of fans?

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (06:39):
Yeah, for sure, it's definitely, man, the whole fans. I've
been rocking all season, and uh, it would be good
to get this wing this weekend.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Did you see this?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Sorry, did you see this for yourselves?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
At the start of the year, like to be eleven
or two win row?

Speaker 6 (06:53):
We just bought in man to a coach st I
started in OTAs and you know, since then, the journey's
kind of just been one week, one day at a time.
I mean, you know, the outcomes have been the outcome.
So it's been blessings. So we got to continue to
do what you do.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
If you're as already you're in the top ten for
pro bit of voting.

Speaker 6 (07:12):
For your possession, that's cool. That's cool man, that's a blessing.
You know, stuff like that is always cool.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Man.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
Just I guess the first time that's happened for me,
so pretty dope. Still got to lock in on what
the important task is is to get the wan. But
that's dope, it really cool. Say it's a blessing for
I think that could.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
How much do you take away from round one with
these guys just knowing the chess match that you know,
like the second time you face the team this.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Yeah, you gotta watch that film heavily. Then that's what
they're going to be watching all week preparing for the
things that we did, and how do we go about
keeping our identity the same and maybe changing a few
things up, maybe keeping a few things time.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
How much do you think the Bills win in week
five maybe help places a little by what the identity
of this team is.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
Yeah, we've been working on that identity since day one,
OTAs and it just continues the build so on. Part
of the guys that have really stayed the course and
continue to believe in the basics, the fundamentals doing what
we do well. And I think we've just continued to
grow as a defense that we're still at this point
late in the year a few wins under our belt,
but at the same time hungrier than ever. You look

(08:25):
across his locker room, it's almost like a sense that
we have so much left in the tank, We have
so much more to give. We can play such better defense.
So we're just striving to go out there and do that,
which challenges to James Cooking in the run rushing attack. Yeah,
James cook puts eleven people at attack. He can bounce
its sideline, the sideline, the inside run could end up

(08:47):
on the outside of the numbers, an outside run can
cut back to the opposite side corner. He puts eleven
at the point of attack, and he's really a great
football player for them. How much more would I mean
to clinch the division at home? Yeah, We're going to
take one game at a time, and that's what it means.
It would mean. It's a great deal for this organization,
I know for us as players, But we're just going

(09:07):
to continue to keep putting the right stuff forward In
terms of difficulty in preparing for certain quarterbacks, where does
Josh Allen rink on that way? Yeah? Is that MVP
for a reason. He could do it all. He can
extend plays the arm talent to get the ball anywhere
over the field. He challenges your ability to plaster people,
light and downs. He could be a primary runner on

(09:30):
quarterback designed run, so he could really do it all.
