Speaker 1 (00:02):
Going on doing all right, locker rooms healthy. How are
you feeling? What was that? Yeah, yeah, I feel alright.
Just gotta get down just uh yeah, just landed awkward
and and felt all right, but uh no, I felt
good to be a while but important going made that

(00:23):
great catch.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Able to run the football and I would stay it
was a struggle. I think, you know, I think you know,
be run football, help us out. You know today, I'm
proud of the guys up front. It was just this
all week. Be able to run the football and uh,
the guys outside may plays when the when the balls
in the air.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
When you started that two menager, like what was in
your head and your plan was such a quick strike?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Was that planned or did you just see that playing?
Like yeah, kind of the same thing as last week,
and the one was really two minutes just try to
go get points and if something's there, take a shot deep.
And we've been glad. We came out with seven and
we're able to you know, double dip coming out of halftime.
Don't do what you saw on the time of Hooper. Yeah,
who uh you know, we had a basically a high

(01:05):
low out there, and they both went to digs and Uh,
there's late getting out. You know. Back to Hoop, and
Hoop made a nice play. I don't do it a
little bit, but uh, he's made a lot of those
catches in his career, in his career, and he made
a big time catch.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Did you hear the raable chance that I did.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. Yeah, I think that's always cool.
I think that's Uh. You know, he downplayed it all week,
which we appreciate. You know. I think he was focused
on us and worried about us, and that's what matters.
But I know that it feels good for him.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You guys, different teams since week one. Obviously, Coach talked
about tipping your tone and water we want. Guys went
that great and really started to build. You have multiple
plays down the field, especially in the passing game. We
won the booty. You talked about what's gotten here at
this point where it seems like everybody's live. You're taking
shots one of the booty, whether it's digs, whether it's talk.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Last week, Yeah, just keep playing the offense. Just just
I think we're you'll learn each other, learning the offense together,
and I think more and more comfortable every week. And
I think That's the big thing with with coach. He's uh,
he was calling great games and I think we got
you know, even more or less than the tank, And
I think that's what we look back on and in
that fourth quarter there to try to really steal the game.
Those guys, those five guys up front of ball man,
those those guys are warriors. Those are You're the heartbeat

(02:12):
of this team and they come show up every week. Here.
You're obviously playing at a really high level right now.
But the consistency at which you've been able to do it,
what do you think is helped you the most to
be able to kind of do you know? Yeah, I
think the guys around me, I think they're you know,
we're still in confidence in each other, and it's confidence
in myself and just keeping them going out there and

(02:33):
they're getting some wins on your belt. It helps with that.
So just keep on going and just not changing throughout
the week and just trying to get better.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
You're the first quarterback in this franchise history to have
three games in a single season completing of the stage
percent of your balls. What has allowed you to have
that type of success so early in your career?

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yeah, you know same thing. Those guys are making plays
for me. Those guys are you know, upfront, are blocking
their butts off, and in the passing game they're going
to you know, make plays for me. And I think
we're just trying to stay ahead of the chains and
try to throw the first guy.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Open during during the week a little bit. But maybe
now that the game is over. How much have you
grown since being in this stadium last year when you
how decided to play and then lost over time, but
you see how you how you pulled out the wind today?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
How much would you do you feel like you've grown
as a quarterback? Yeah, I think is growing up the organization.
I think you have the you know with h with
coach Rabel and and uh his staff. I think we're
just trying to, you know, buy into each other and
build an identity. And I think that's what's kind of
the biggest thing for me. I'm trying to he'll be
the same player you know every week. And I think, uh,
those guys from this game last year, Yeah, I left

(03:35):
the bad taste of our mouth, so glda'll be you know,
cannot hear the win donated obviously.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
All weeklong, everyone did about coach gre able.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
To come back here. What does he meant to you
guys though, I just you know, put on a daily
basis and hope you guys get to five or two
where you want to be right now. Yeah, he's uh man,
he uh he brings it every day. You know, I
think he brings it every day. He uh he challenges us,
but uh he also cares about us and cares about
us outside of the building. And I think, yeah, he's

(04:03):
just awesome played for and uh it's pretty cool in
locker room celebrating.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
He said, I don't know if here whatever. She said
the Petriots record for offense computing person the game, the
two being completions in the game twenty one twenty three.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
What is your reaction to to that? Yeah, I left
some out there that I ended up running and I
could have could have thrown. I think I talked it
a couple of times when I shouldn't have, and I
think you need to get the backside of the progression more.
But uh, yeah, I think I'm trying to be careful
with the football and trying to challenge it down the
field and not just be a you know, check down Charlie.
So just trying to throw to the guys that's open

(04:37):
and they're making great, great plays. What's what's your level
of confidence in this offense right now? Yeah, I think
we got we got some more, We got some more left,
and I think that's what coach McDaniels is challenging us.
I think those offensive coaches are doing a great job
and in their areas, and I think we still got,
you know, more left. And I think that you can
touchdown really helped us out a lot of us.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
A little bit off topic, but Friday night, there's a
great high school game in Massachusetts.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Yeah, so you were able to attend it, and just
sort of what made you want to do that and
what was your reaction to Yeah, I think I heard
it was a big game, you know, in a local area.
I think two state champions playing and just trying to support,
you know, brings me back to those days when I
was playing. It's pretty cool to see them out there.
And I guess there's a bunch of Patriots fans, so
it was a pretty good crowd. So it's a good game.
