Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, we already.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
This thing is yeah, wait, let a start to training camp.
Look at this guy.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
This is why obviously you'll saw him because I did
have a little pet adoption day tomorrow. Hopefully people come
out and get to look at you guys like this.
Please don't send us to my wife because I should
probably want him to come home with us.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
You have a natural I hold my babies and kids
kids too much, so I'm a little more natural.

Speaker 4 (00:36):
All right.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
It's so guys, good feeling, goods.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Competitive, Frank Camper. They all kind of the same, whether
it's field, whether.

Speaker 5 (00:50):
It's whether it's.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I think they're all similar in a way. I mean,
I think you got to attack it that way.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
That's how I try to attack it with my mind set,
and I think majority of the guys will. I mean,
you have to be ready to come every single day
no matter what training camp you're in, and uh so
you try to, you know, prove.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
It every single year.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
You still got it, and you still are trying to improve,
trying to get better, find things you can improve on.
So yeah, man, that's that's the beauty of training camp,
is coming in and trying to get better.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
You learned anything about getting ready for camp and tell
people over the years or is it still.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
Uh, it's it's hard to simulate everything obviously.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
H it's hard to like, you know, putting pads on
obviously and and going to get another person. Can't really
simulate that unless you come in and actually work on
it and practice against you against your guys. So, but
you try to get as great as shape as you can,
as strong as you can, so you can withstand that
that physicality throughout you know, the practices throughout training camp,
but also you know the longevity of the season.

Speaker 7 (01:50):
Look like in the five weeks that the quarterbacks, your
receivers to get together kind of who set that up
and how far does that mean?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Yeah, Drake hit the guys up after mini camp and
we just kind of talked about trying to you know.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
Get guys together.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Obviously, it was good a couple of days of working
just we need as many as reps as we can.
We're still as many reps as we can to just
get timing, get a feel.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
For each other more and more.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
But also it was good to just like be able
to hang out because that bond can go a long
way no matter you know, good times, bad times, that
bond will continue, and so you know, it's it was
good to connect with the guys for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
For a few days.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
Was out there with you guys during that time when
your shop, just to see how quickly he recovered health there.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, he's doing great, man.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
You know, obviously a guy that adds a lot of
value here and a guy that's done a ton in
this league. Everybody has a lot of respect for and
I got a lot of respect for the work he's
put in. Obviously, I've been through an aco myself and
uh man, it's a it's a tough injury, and he's
done a tremendous job of just staying focused, staying locked in,
and he looks really good. So like sout to you know,

(03:00):
go out there and compete with him and kind of
get a feel for each other on the field too,
And I know he brings a lot of energy and
excited to be out there him.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Where were you guys located if you worked at next summer.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
We were in Charlotte. Yeah, it looks.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Like bel was down there as well. What do you
what are you starting to see from him in the
second season?

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Yeah, Jim, it was good to have him down there.
You know, he I feel like all he did last
year was continue to improve and growth in a lot
of areas. So had a good spring and you know,
he brings a lot of energy to the room and
a guy that obviously has a lot of speed, a
very very talented receiver, and so you know, it's uh,
I'm excited to kind of see his growth throughout throughout

(03:41):
camp and continue on. You know, what he did last year,
he did a great job of just improvement throughout the year,
working his way through a whole year, and then I
guess to build upon that this year.

Speaker 5 (03:51):
You know, it's been seven seven months out with Mike Craville.
How much of a better field do you feel like
you have for what he's about and how do you
think that what he's about will help you guys this year?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, I mean obviously, uh, he's been great man and
I think everybody can see that too. You know, I've
I've loved being around him just as a person first
and foremost. I mean, he's been awesome building that relationship,
but also just as a coach. It's been it's been
a lot of fun just being in the meeting room
with him. You know, he's done it at a high

(04:22):
level as a coach, but he's also done it at
a high level at you know the same as us
as players, and so to kind of have both those
things for him to for us to be able to
lean on, it's huge. And uh so I'm excited to
you know, dive into training camp with him and then
you know, get ready for the season.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
You're not scared of him. You know, he's not messing
around this team.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I mean, we all, we all need.

Speaker 3 (04:48):
Accountability and I think he brings that every single day.
I think he's the same guy every day so far
that I've seen and I think he'll continue to be
that And that's all you can ask for from.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Your head coach.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
You know, he's very consistent and that's that's definitely what
we need.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
New offense again this year. Like you feel like the
guys know.

Speaker 6 (05:08):
It pretty cold now entering training camp where you guys
be learning to the offense said that one time.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Now you're entering training can do you feel like you
know your new offense pretty cold at this point or
like where are you in dread getting gains?

Speaker 3 (05:20):
I think I think we, I mean everybody's at different
points with it. Personally, I'm pretty. I mean it's kind
of like riding a bike because I was luckily in
this in this offense, So you know, there's uh, you know,
you don't you're not in it for a while, but
once you hear the terminology, once you hear things, you're
able to kind of pick things back up, kind of
you know, retrain the mind of everything. So and there's

(05:41):
a few guys that are in it for sure before,
so I think that helps some of those younger guys ask,
you know, bounce questions off of us. But you know,
Josh has done a great job. I think everybody feels
in a good spot. Obviously we're gonna dive pretty heavy
and deep into it, you know, right away, and so
I think everybody would be ready.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
To go dreat b.

Speaker 3 (06:02):
Yeah, I mean it's been it's been great man obviously
as a talented player, but I think just him growing
in his leadership and just off the field stuff and
obviously just as a player. I've seen a lot of
growth in them and just confidence. So you know, that's
that's only going to continue to go as we you know,
more practice that we stacked and more reps we take,

(06:24):
that confidence will.

Speaker 6 (06:25):
Grow, whether physically or maybe get their approach. Who's a
teammate that leaves off today or at the end of
spring seems markedly different from when you saw him at
the end of last season. Approach just the guy who
showed up a little bit of different players.

Speaker 3 (06:45):
M h man, it's hard to say, like I don't
know yet, you know what I mean, Like we did
some stuff, some good stuff in the off season, but
I think we'll be able to you'll be able.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
To see that once practice is really starting. Training camp.

Speaker 3 (06:57):
You know, you practice in the off season and that
stuff is like bring you know, we're putting stuff in,
we're installing, but like training camps really where we formed
the team, and so you're really able to see where
guys are at because obviously we're out there more, we're
competing a little bit more. It's a little bit more intense.
So to be honest with you, I don't I don't
know if there's a guy can like really pinpoint right now,
but like maybe in three weeks we can you know,

(07:18):
circle back and circle back on that question and see that.
So you know, that's what training camp's about. You know,
it's about the growth, it's about like form of the team.
You know, putting the blueprints together for this team, and
so I'm excited for that.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, just as Josh comes back, he talked to one
year he's really successful year. Now he comes back. Is
there anything about him picture remember, you know? Yeah, he's
really did do this little band something like that.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
I feel like he's a really really good teacher. I
really Obviously he's been this is his system. He's been
in for a long long time, and he is a
master of his system. And I think it's really cool
to learn from him because he's a really really good
teacher and able to relate to a lot of different guys.
So that's one thing that I respect a lot about him,

(08:10):
and I did you know right away my first year,
but like coming getting back into it, he's he's a
really really good teacher, and so it's a lot of
a lot of fun to learn from him.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah, I got.

Speaker 8 (08:23):
It going.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
How's it going?

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (08:27):
Right, this is Wyatt a little white He's pretty sleepy
right now. I guess he was over there in the
back hanging out. I said, please don't pee on me,
and they're like it, don't wear. He feet on the
floor already, so I don't have to worry about that
right now.

Speaker 7 (08:41):
Yeah, this is a yeah, I guess uh Robert Robert
and Dana kraftar spearheading this pet adoption giveaway, so you
too could walk away with a puppy.

Speaker 8 (08:55):
My dog is currently down in Texas right now.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Yeah, you want to say something. He's down in Texas
with my mom and dad.

Speaker 8 (09:01):
So hopefully he can come up here soon enough now
that I've got a house up here with a big
enough yard for him.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
So yeah, he's a he's a big boy.

Speaker 8 (09:09):
He's about one hundred and thirty pound dog, so yeah,
he needs quite a bit of room.

Speaker 1 (09:14):
And it's greeting up. What's gonna happen tomorrow?

Speaker 7 (09:18):
Everybody today.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Walk to the fields or we're gonna.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
Wear like that process to mon.

Speaker 8 (09:27):
Yeah, so we're gonna be walking out with the dogs.
I think after practice, before before practice, I think he
wants to go down. Yeah, before before practice, A handful
of us will be walking out with some dogs and
doing a giveaway to some families. And I think it's
you know, animals are special. I think there's you know,

(09:47):
all they do is know how to love, especially when
they're young. So to go into a family that needs,
you know, something that's like a like a sticky glue
in the family that can bring somebody together. I think
that's an awesome thing that we can do as an
we're gonnization. We have a great leader and mister Craft
and his wife Dana to help, you know, families in
need who could use something like that, who could bring

(10:09):
join to their lives. So when they asked me to,
you know, kind of be a part of this, I
said absolutely, I'd love that.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
To be here and kind of it's you only like
you guys should get ready for day one practice tomorrow. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (10:22):
We always we always look to come back around this
time of the year because this is actually real football
and things kind of start to ramp up, and you
you know, look forward to, you know, preseason, you know,
coming out here with the guys, get getting after it
during camp and you know, it's it's it's those dog
days that you have to go through to earn the
right to go onto the field on Sundays and Mondays
and even even Thursday evening. So it's, uh, it's always

(10:42):
something that we look forward to. And you know, people
ask me, do you get nervous to come up there?
And I don't think it's nervousness anymore. I think it's more,
you know, you're anxious to come up here and you
know you've worked all off season to get to this point,
you know, to go out in the football field and
kind of prove that you belong here, to showcase your
abilities as well.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Changed for you during this strength.

Speaker 8 (11:04):
I think more of a leadership role. I know kind
of talked about that last year as well, but you know,
Joe Cardona was still here and you know he was
that season vet in the special teams room. So to
kind of be thrust it into that role, I'm very
excited about that and to hopefully get to wear see
on my chest, you know, be be elected by these
guys on the team. So kind of taking us definitely

(11:24):
a bigger step and in that direction when it comes
to special teams wise. And then also kind of wanting
to contribute more on defense as well. I know kind
of midway through last season I was able to step into,
you know, a small role, So it's going to be
I'm gonna try to you know, expand that role as
well on defense this year.

Speaker 1 (11:42):
Defensive staff.

Speaker 8 (11:45):
A little bit during during before OTAs there was there
were small conversations, but it was I think more it
was you know, getting to know the playbook inside and out,
and you know, not only make the team as you know,
a guy who's gonna contribute on special teams in four phases,
but to contribute you know, on defense as well.

Speaker 7 (12:02):
So we'll see what happens.

Speaker 8 (12:03):
I mean, I'm sure there will be conversations coming up
the pipe, but not not too many as recent.

Speaker 6 (12:09):
Do you see yourself in any of these young special
teamers or is there anybody that you particularly.

Speaker 5 (12:12):
Come here to be your name?

Speaker 8 (12:14):
I think everybody in that in that room, especially the
guys who are gonna be you know, on the perimeter
on punt and punt return, and you know, I think
when it comes to kickoff and kickoff return too, there's
still either there's so much things that are evolving in
that realm as well. I think it's gonna look a
whole lot different than it did last year league wide,
just based off like how teams attacked, you know, certain formations,
how they're kicking the ball, where they're gonna put the ball.

(12:36):
Is it gonna be on the ground, is it gonna
be in the air, Is it gonna be in the corner,
So I think that in that realm it'll be a
little bit different. But when it comes to punt, punt
return on the perimeter, just you know, anybody who has
any questions, like, I want to be that guy. And
I had great mentors like in Cody Davis, Matthew Slater,
justin Bethel, even Joe Cardona when it comes to even
rushes on punt. Just taking those guys under my ring,

(13:00):
my wing and showing them all the ways that I
learned and those guys and kind of pour into them
because those older guys poured into me, and I knew
how much that meant to me. So any any way
I could be, you know, a role model of those
guys and be you know, a teacher, and like I'm
still trying to be a student of the game. So
if I learned something new, I want to teach them
something new too. So just trying to be that guy
in the room. Now that's you know, kind of that

(13:21):
quote unquote old head now. And I've seen a lot
of ball out there and it's crazy, I'm only going
into a year four, but these guys look at me
like an old guy. So it's just just try to
just pour into them as much as you know other
guys poured into me as well, Randy a.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
Couple of times. But what kind of good time did
Joe happen?

Speaker 8 (13:36):
I think Joe just taught me how to be, you know,
a true pro and how like hard this game can
really be. And you know the difficulties that he faced
as a long snapper when it came to rushes, and
even if it's just him and I and you know
a couple other guys that are working on a rush
that week that we're trying to pick on a snapper,
He's like, Hey, for me, this is really hard. You know,
I got to pick my head up and I see

(13:57):
guys crossing my face and guys flying around, and so
to have a season vet like him, I think this
he's going to the year eleven this year, and he's
seen a lot of football and you know, been to
the super Bowl and it was around a lot better
players than I've been around recently in these past four seasons.
So he was just a great soundboard to bounce ideas
off of and talk about Russias and you know other

(14:18):
ways to you know, get to to the punter and
ultimately change the momentum of a game if you can
get a blocked.

Speaker 6 (14:23):
Punt and another ton of players coaches like newnesses all
around you.

Speaker 1 (14:28):
But if you had to capture what's different he started.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
This greedy game from here?

Speaker 8 (14:35):
What would you say you're talking like for me personally.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Just the whole building, the building.

Speaker 8 (14:40):
I think coach Rabel brings, you know, a different vibe,
and I can only speak for the years I've been here.
He brings a different vibe from the year's previous, where
it's it's not it's not you're not scared, but you're
you know, like he's not messing around. Like if you're
not on your p's and q's and you're not doing
exactly what you're asked to do how you're supposed to
do it, then you I don't think, you know, guys

(15:01):
are going to be sticking around long. But then that's
not to you know, to scare anybody or to be rude.
I think it's just the nature of the business. And
he's no, he's not messing around. So I think there's
that aspect of it. But there's also the excitement that
he brings and the energy that he brings because being
a former player, he knows the difficulties that we have
to go through, and so to have him at the helm,
I think it's you know, it's going to be beneficial

(15:22):
for us, and we're gonna we're gonna see what happens
and see where the chips fall.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
Because you said you want to wear the sea on
your chest is here. And that standard that the coaches
are setting.

Speaker 6 (15:32):
How much do you feel like it is being communicated
to years to hold.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
The other players on their team accountal, especially when you've
got a pritise opinion who may be taking.

Speaker 8 (15:42):
That big pos right by, you know. I think it
falls back to that old you know saying, you know,
players playing coaches coach like, we're going to be on
the field and we're going to be the ones that
are going to have to make checks, and we're going
to be the ones that are going to have to
bring guys together when you know, because not everything's gonna
be perfect, and you know things are going to be
hard during the game, and you know, the coaches that
can only do so much. But as long as the

(16:03):
leaders who are supposed to be leaders on the team
are your best players on the field, then those guys
are going to raise the standard and raise the bar.
And you know, if you're not meeting that standard and
you're not arising to the occasion, then I think, you
know that we're going to have a hard hard time.
And so to be that guy and to you know,
hold that standard, that's something that I take very personal
and I want to be that guy and I want

(16:25):
to be you know, part of you know, something great
that we're going to build here. So it's it's about
the guys on the team who are going to hold
the standard and that those need to be your best
players who are going to be on the field day
in and day out. So to wear that sea on
my chest, you know, there's it's it's it's a huge deal,
especially being at this level. You know, coming in as
a guy who was undrafted, to hopefully get to wear

(16:45):
a see on my chest like that would be a
huge honor and I wouldn't want to let anybody down
who got to wear that before me, Who's going to
wear that after me? So it's about holding that standard
and keeping that tradition alive here of you know, dominant footballer.

Speaker 5 (17:00):
Every year and you get to give this season, you've
had consistency of Joe wants with the two Wiki specialists,
in particular.

Speaker 1 (17:08):
Forty two pieces of advice? Can you give the joy
you bard?

Speaker 8 (17:18):
Yeah, I think don't ride the roller coaster. I mean,
you guys are gonna have good days. You guys are
gonna have bad days. There's there's gonna be the ebbs
and flows of practice, there's gonna be the epps and
flows of games. Just try to stay as as consistent
as you can, and you know, learn from the older
guys who have been around, and you know, listen to
your coaches. Trust your coaches. You know, it's like drink
it through a fire house when you're a rookie and
you know you have the pressure of not only performing

(17:41):
from you know, other people, but I think there's also
a pressure as a certain amount of pressure you put
on yourself to perform, because I don't think anybody who's
here wants to do poorly. So it's like, don't worry
about the ups and downs. As long as you stay
consistent and show up a day in and day out,
then you're gonna be just fine. Like, you guys are
talented enough. We brought you guys for a reason. Just
trust yourself.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
Brendan, you mentioned that there were gonna be some changes
this season or early special teams.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
What are some of the bigger trends that you are
expecting to see this year.

Speaker 8 (18:10):
I think the biggest changes are definitely gonna be on
kickoff and kickoff return. We'll see what happens because I think,
you know, every every special teams coordinator kind of has
their way of attacking it this year, and whether like
I said, that's putting the ball on the ground, whether
that's hanging the ball up in the air, whether that's
you know, different twist games that you can do on
kickoff and kickoff return. I know that was kind of

(18:30):
a big trend that we saw league wide last year,
so I mean, it wasn't like a big secret or anything.
So I think it's just gonna be one of those
things where that phase of the game is going to
be evolving because we're only going into year two of it,
so we're gonna have to wait and see what happens.
Appreciate you guys, enough.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Good?

Speaker 4 (18:53):
Are you so good? I have fun, got to spend
time with the family of friends, enjoy time off away
from ball work out. But it was it was needed.
But I'm excited to be back.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
It's your transition back training camp here.

Speaker 5 (19:10):
What are you thinking personal in terms of works taking.

Speaker 4 (19:17):
Just getting better every day, just focusing on the one
day at a time and training camp. That's I mean,
all you can do is come in and fix some
mistakes you made the the day before, cause there's always
gonna be mistakes. But yeah, just focusing on getting one
percent better each day and have a good camp and
and leading the seasons.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
You've had the new head coach ran every year since
being in Colorado, how have you kind of what do
you kind of learned from that.

Speaker 4 (19:45):
To kind of help you move forward to justice. Yeah,
I mean each coach is different, They're all different, but
I mean at the same time, just you just playing football,
you know, getting in and and and learning the the
new faces and you know how one coach coaches versus
another coach. I mean it's like I said, it's just football.

(20:06):
So just coming in and you know, being the best
version of myself and doing what I can do for
the team.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Young players have talked about well thanks for my nag
as you do about you in the chamber.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
I mean I would say, just just being who I am,
just playing I'm kind of going back to to that
question earlier. Just being one percent better every day, not
focused on making no goals on anything, you know, just
trying to better myself each day, and I will lead
into into a good season, I mean for sure. I mean,

(20:51):
I I feel like pressure is pressure is a privilege.
If you have that pressure on you, it's a good thing.
So I enjoy it. Kind of have to enjoyed playing
corner because it's always gonna be up on on the DBS,
so I enjoy it. Like dogs, I like dogs, I
do like dogs. I have a dog. He's much bigger

(21:13):
than this dog though, I have a deal or a
king Corse though he's like one hundred thirty five pounds,
so it's huge.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
But he would eat that.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
No, he would probably probably run around with him and
do or we get tired out after five minutes.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
But that's physically different. Is your bloody down? When he
came into being stronger, faster and.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
Flexible, hope, I don't know. I mean, I've always been fast,
always been pretty strong. I mean I kind of hit
on a little bit, but I've been starting doing a
little pilates during the off seasons that kind of can
help with my flexibility. It's very hard for nobody that's
done it. It looks easy, but it's probably one of

(21:57):
the hardest things I've done. So it's fun. But that's
something I challenge myself with during the offseason.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Whatso like senior name on the Top one hundred list
to last.

Speaker 4 (22:05):
Week, it's cool? Cool.

Speaker 1 (22:11):
I would you like to throw as a leader as well?

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Now that you've been here kind of established, do you
feel like you have that in you as far as
the team of that next stuff? Yeah, I mean I
feel like I can. I can improve in that, And
I mean everybody leads in a different way. I mean,
I'm I'm can't sit up here and say I'm gonna
get up in front of the team and give a
team speech. It's just not who I am. But you know,

(22:34):
I can lead and by example and in other ways.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
You know.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
I love when people can come up and ask questions
about anything, not even just football off the field stuff.
I enjoy it. So being able to take that step
by it's something I look forward to.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Get A pretty nonchalant reaction to the Top one hundred
like do.

Speaker 6 (22:54):
You pay attention to goals list?

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Do you take your ranking personally?

Speaker 2 (22:57):
And do you keep you where you're here.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
I mean, I see it. We've got to get into
it too much.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
What you've learned from problem they have a distracted visions.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
Yeah, I mean, it's it's been awesome to It was
fun to be in here with him during o t
as you know, pick his brain a little bit. It's
you know, he's he's won a Super Bowl, he's done
at the highest level. He's done it for a long time.
He's made a lot of plays. So you know, it's
always great to have that Vet in the room because
lean on him, ask him questions, how he sees certain things,

(23:32):
and just you know, it's it's fun being on the
field with with him and and and all the dbs.
So I'm excited for.

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Its being the best version of yourself. What does that
look like long field.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
Making plays?

Speaker 1 (23:47):
Doing what I do, Chris, That's a corner, especially a
band covered corner. How would you prepare and put yourself
in position to forces?

Speaker 4 (23:58):
I mean, it's it's you wanted for turnovers, of course,
but you know you can't go into the game just
thinking for first and turnover. You know, you gotta lock
in on on on your man and and and your
your job with the defense. So it's it's kind of
just you know, when the ball in the air and
you a good position, you kind of flip back to
receiver mode and you just go get the ball. So yeah,

(24:22):
how much you.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Going out against the receiver.

Speaker 5 (24:27):
Lights out means?

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Oh, yes, I'm excited for that. It will be fun.
He's he's also done it for a long time at
a very high level. You know, kind of picked his
brain a little bit during the spring already, So I'm
excited for those competitions and even just what he brings
to that room and the team. Uh, you know, he

(24:50):
brings a veteran role, a veteran leadership role. You know,
he's just gonna crank up the competition and it will
be a lot of fun out there.

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Skip last year, Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
It was good. He's a he's a good route runner,
great route runner, very smart just talking to him, like
actually getting to talk to him. He understands football very well,
spaced defenses. So it's it's fun to pick his brain
and see how he looks at it as going against
the corner as how far as I look at it.

Speaker 6 (25:27):
A couple of catches against him that game, if I
remember right, what did he do and how he attacked you.

Speaker 1 (25:33):
How might that help you, Befoord.

Speaker 4 (25:35):
Yeah, just being able to you know, see it on
film and actually ask him about it. Now, like you know,
you can get beat from receiver and you know it's
you don't always get the luxury to be able to,
you know, for him to be on your team and
actually sit down and break down that film. So you know,
I was able to ask him questions about certain things,

(25:56):
certain reps he won, and he was able to give
me some ans. So that was cool.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
What was the.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
Just just being people face, just be who I am.
That's he told me that, So that was that was
something nice. Appreciate it.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
There's a lot of optimism around here because you know,
my Frand was here as the coach.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
The fans you know when mes a familiar face.

Speaker 5 (26:18):
But how much is it on you guys as players
to get this thing turned around after two four to
thirteen seasons.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
Yeah for sure. I mean at the end of the day,
it always comes down to us. We're the ones out
there playing. We're the ones out there having to you know,
win and and make plays. So it all comes down
to us. You know, they they can coach us, they
can they can teach us all all the techniques, all
the tools, all the coverages, but we got to go
out there and execute, so we gotta we gotta be

(26:44):
better at that.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
Just what the conversations? Did you guys just sit down
and watch the film? Watched you or what did you
guys off?

Speaker 4 (26:52):
No, just outright, we didn't get to sit down. We'll
probably do it sometimes. We're gonna be here all day
twenty four seven now, so we got time to do it.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Now, going back to.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
Your comment, I'll go back to your comment when you
mentioned you got to kind of flut to receiver mode.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Feel like we all know somebody screwed to the TV,
Like why didn't he turn around? Why did he pick
it off?

Speaker 3 (27:10):
So for you, at what point are you just trying
to play the hands and at what point are you
saying I'm good enough position to turn around and try
to tack the ball.

Speaker 4 (27:16):
Yeah, So, I mean being a dB, there's there's kind
of two different phases. You know, in phase where you're
pretty much you're I mean it's kind of harder's in
phase like you're right hip the hip you can look
up and find the ball and if he's you know,
a couple of steps ahead of you, a step ahead
of you, and if you look up, the ball will
go right over your head. Because I mean the quarterback

(27:37):
not throwing to us. He thrown the receiver. So if
if you're in this the the his hip pocket where
you can turn and look, you can if he got
a couple steps on you, you gotta play straight through
the hands that does agreed exination, appreciate it years.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
So if you're out of phase, just yeah, that's right,
bustcha
