Speaker 1 (00:00):
How are you doing you do not just.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
A thought on hitting somebody else. What it's gonna be
like for you guys to joint practices tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
It's gonna be really good for us, really good to
compete against somebody else. Like you said, see different things
that we have not seen yet. It's gonna be really
good to sharpen out to us.
Speaker 1 (00:16):
What have you learned about practices? What's the best.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Way to work post as a as a a great
opportunity because, like you just asked, we see things that
we haven't seen yet. Different a lot of different looks,
have opportunity to disguise and and do different things, and
so that's just a great opportunity this earlier in the year.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Is it difficult to keep your emotions and check you've
seen that before joint practices?
Speaker 4 (00:39):
Nah?
Speaker 5 (00:39):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (00:41):
Yeah, I don't think it is at all.
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Spring the summer behind.
Speaker 6 (00:47):
What about that was a learning experience for you?
Speaker 5 (00:50):
Experience? Did you kind of speak? It was a ton uh.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Personally, it was a big opportunity to learn to lean
on my faith, which is something that trying to grow
and mature in. And just as far as when things
aren't going your way being still being there showing up
as a leader.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
You know, that's what great leaders do. It's not just
about them.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
So that was a great opportunity to do that.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
There was a little bit of patience always, for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
I have a lot of work to do, a lot
of a lot of areas to get better in and
to be able to help his defense. So that's how
I think about it, and so I'm not really trying
to think about it's specifically to that, but I just
have a lot of ways I can get better and
to help the team specifically.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
Talk about how this is very much especially change for
you guys.
Speaker 5 (01:49):
Want to get out of the back end. Uh, we
just we got to do our job the same.
Speaker 3 (01:53):
We gotta lock it up and be tight and be
be on the same page and things like that.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
So it doesn't really change it much.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
We just got to make sure we're holding up and
doing what we're supposed to be doing our job to
help them out, just like they're doing their job to
help us out.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Kind I know.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
You're always trying to work in your game, but when
you mentioned a lot of areas that want to improve on,
how much is that related to the system change.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Obviously, it's it's some differences in the system, and so
that's going to be there. There's always stuff to work on,
but it is some new things if I'm being honest
that you know, I have to to get used to
and learn how to do.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
And so that's definitely there with the new system.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
That the extend the detail you can share. Yeah, it
is you were reflected there. I'm curios.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
So guys in the league twenties often.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Talk about kind of transitions in the next phase.
Speaker 6 (02:43):
They're alive and not being able to rely as.
Speaker 7 (02:44):
Much ay before kind of.
Speaker 6 (02:48):
The thoughtful television teams, boys for the fence, baltball player
and by experience, are.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
You leaning more on that now more going forwards your
experience of the league?
Speaker 5 (02:55):
How much is that coming to play?
Speaker 3 (02:57):
I wouldn't say I'm leaning on it anymore. Uh, I'm
just trying to be heavy on it just as much
as I've always tried to be. And just like the
athletics and things like that like that, that's gonna come
and be what it's gonna be. But I'm just gonna
try to lean on the same man and just pick
up more, you know, details with that kind of stuff,
you're gonna.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
See some familiar faces tomorrow Jones.
Speaker 5 (03:17):
Yeah, yeah, if you talk to them at all, and
if not, what do you think it's gonna be like.
Speaker 3 (03:21):
Seeing I haven't talked to him in a while, a
little bit after you know, after everything afterday Saturday in
over there, and so this is gonna be my first
time being able to talk to them.
Speaker 5 (03:30):
Man, it's excited to be able to see them. Is
that like up you expect to talk.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
I'm gonna be watching.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
I'm watching close, uh when when their defence is out there,
and definitely have some some positivity and things like that
to say after maybe a little bit of trash stock.
Speaker 5 (03:45):
But it's all love though, appreciate me.
Speaker 8 (03:47):
Sire different about I mean obviously coaches, Yeah, what fields different?
I mean I think just the team energy, you know, obviously, uh,
obviously the new leadership. Also, they've been great. They've been
(04:11):
very attentive, very detail oriented.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
So it's been good. There's a team rule.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Not diving too much into scheme, but for guys who
have been here the last year plus, sea change, getting
from your spot, just your position, speak of yourself what you.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
Say about.
Speaker 8 (04:29):
Yeah, no, I think I think I love the scheme
we have going on here. They let us play fast,
and they let us play free without running into it
too much. They they just have done a really good
job of just making it not grey. So it's not
like a question of what I got to do that snap.
I know what I gotta do, and it's just a
matter of execution. Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, he's been He's
(05:03):
been an amazing addition to this team. I see nothing
but greatness in him. I think he's gonna do amazing
in this league. I can't speak highly enough of him.
He even got me on a go route the other
day that you know, I just I honestly wasn't expecting
out of him, and he just he just keeps showing
that he can play. And I think he's gonna helpless team.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
Yeah somebody else.
Speaker 5 (05:28):
I'm excited. I'm excited.
Speaker 8 (05:29):
It's gonna be good to go up against a different
team other than our own guys.
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (05:36):
Yeah, No, it's just a it's a very different style offense.
You gotta worry about the QB run game, you gotta
worry about the option. It's just something that I'm excited about.
It reminds me of you know, it reminds me of
college ball almost you know, it's it's just different, different.
Speaker 9 (05:52):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, uh yeah, yeah, No, it would be
good to see the guys liked wise.
Speaker 8 (06:03):
Uh, we got Jones, we got we got a few
guys over there that used to be here and even.
Speaker 6 (06:10):
Okay, thank you, thank you, okay bye, Yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:16):
I love you. Yeah yeah, interpreter.
Speaker 8 (06:20):
Yeah, I still have guys like even that we're on
Philly a few years back that I know, and.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
It'll be good to see him. Yeah.
Speaker 6 (06:32):
One of the things that stood out, yeah against him.
Speaker 8 (06:42):
Yeah, yeah, it's not so. I think from what I've seen,
he's done a really good job. He stays square, he
doesn't want he does his job. So you know, if that,
if that's just a sign, I hope he continues it
(07:02):
going forward. And you know, it's all different when we
actually get to a game, when guys are going full tilt.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
So it'll be exciting to see for sure.
Speaker 6 (07:10):
Speaking of signs, you know, we can obviously see the
right in his hands.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
But when you're behind the scenes, is there anything that
tipped you off initially when he got here that, like kids.
Speaker 8 (07:19):
Seems a little bit different. Honestly, I was so focused
trying to be focused. It was hard, Hi, Hi, son,
I don't. I don't think there's anything that really tipped
me off other than just after getting into like running
(07:41):
routes with him against him, it was something that I
was like, okay, like he can move a little bit,
so I got it whenever I like get on him
and coverage, especially now, I'm I gotta lock in for
the down.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
And how do you walk that line when he's out
here running double movie like he died.
Speaker 5 (07:56):
To respect the underneath.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
But also.
Speaker 8 (07:59):
So for me, like what's what's better than catching a
five yard route or like a twenty yard eighty yard touchdown?
That for me, it's like protect the deep and then
I'm fast enough I can break on the slant, you know,
and then we'll see who comes out with the ball
at that point.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
So yeah, Hi, enjoint practice.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
If you guys been warned at all by your head
coach to keep.
Speaker 8 (08:23):
Everything checked out, we'll we'll talk about that here soon, especially,
but I know from experience that, yeah, it's usually always
like it's either teams just go right out the gate
or it's usually the second day. Obviously we only have
one day with them, so hopefully that we can just
keep it about football and then I think both teams
(08:44):
will walk out happy.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
It seems like the.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Still this year and you feel.
Speaker 8 (08:51):
That yeah, yeah, no, I think our guys have done
a really good job of even just like their route
running making. You know, I always say when I'm in coverage,
like I know when I'm a win, when I'm confident
and composed, when they start like getting on your toes,
when you start backing up, when then you become unsure.
(09:12):
That becomes when we lose reps. And I think they've
done a really good job of doing that. That's you,
you know, so it's a credit to their speed. Yep, yep, agreed, Yes, okay, thanks.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Hey, yea.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
A couple of weeks in.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
Yeah, it's great being you know, close though.
Speaker 7 (09:43):
I went to school Harvard coaches a out here yesterday,
so it's been able to hang out with them and
practice and put on a good show. But it feels
like just being closer to that community, closer to that network,
has been really nice.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
Have you felt the transition.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
IVY League to the NFL?
Speaker 6 (09:55):
Has that been no bigger jump?
Speaker 7 (09:56):
You feel like, yeah, setting a bigger jump, it's definitely
a jump, but what I expected, you know, the size
and just overall people are a lot more skilled. You know,
technique is better, fundamentals are better, and so that's something
that you have to overcome.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
You can't just went off of athleticism anymore.
Speaker 7 (10:14):
So going onto my third year and you know, something
I've adjusted to but still always growing.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
Building on that with the top defense.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
A couple of times and go to Kal's been out
herald one day. What was the feedback you got that
day from the coaches about how you're performed in that
that spot.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
Yeah, I think the feedback has just been pretty consistent,
you know, of trying to build that consistency day in
and day out, and so you know, have good players
have good bad days, when I have more good days
than bad days, and making sure that I know my assignment,
can play fast and play physical so I can hopefully
get into that top group.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
Yeah, what's the biggest surprise for you just bring.
Speaker 7 (10:52):
I think the biggest surprise has just been getting to
know my teammates, Like getting here late in the season
last year in December, didn't get a chance to meet
everybody in those four weeks that I was here. So
now I feel like I've really had a full off
season with the team, know most of my guys, know
everybody's name and a little bit of their story, and
so been just surprising to see how well I can
kind of fit in here.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah, I don't a goal of yours, you know. Yeah,
that was I should have said that was the biggest surprise.
Speaker 7 (11:22):
Yeah, because I felt like just showed up every day
and wanted to give my best effort, give my best
work every day. And so if I could bring the energy,
bring a little enthusiasm, even just bring a smile to guys,
It's something that I tried to do. And you know,
that's something that came from Harvard, but come from even before,
just knowing how to work hard.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Your relationship with coach Rabel uh here to fill in
the blank, it's.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
What I think.
Speaker 7 (11:42):
It's it's a it's a good you know, Bosston and
person relationship. You know, like that's the head guy and
obviously played by position, so it's more critical of that
and has a lot of feedback, but it's it's been good.
It's been a solid relationship.
Speaker 10 (11:59):
Person around with practices and.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
Yeah, I'm looking.
Speaker 7 (12:07):
Yeah, I mean the advice on joint practices are to
treat them like games, just because you know another team
is coming into our stadium, our facility, and so to
take that very seriously. This is my first joint practice
after three years, so that is something just a new
element that's coming in. But yeah, just preparing for it
like I would a game or like any preseason game. Yeah,
(12:31):
I mean, it's definitely a legacy to look up to
live up to, and I'm just doing the best that
I can with that. You know, I was, I was
given this number, didn't necessarily choose it, and so now
that I'm I have it, you know, I have to
try and earn it and try to keep it.
Speaker 5 (12:44):
Back here today after.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
A little bit of a scare yesterday, just from whatever
you saw or heard from after practice yesterday to today,
what's been.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Like, Yeah, it's just been great to have him back
in the building.
Speaker 7 (12:55):
You know, his health is something that you know, everyone
knows about and we're just constantly keeping it our prayers
and keeping in our thoughts and know that he's doing
what he can to be back.
Speaker 2 (13:03):
Were you aware of, like worried at all or did
you know was dehydration and things were generally okay.
Speaker 7 (13:10):
I mean I was honestly just in practice and didn't
didn't know too much, so I was worried and then
kind of just had to put it away while we
were sprigsing.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Great, Thank you guys, appreciate it.
Speaker 5 (13:22):
Thank you.
Speaker 9 (13:26):
It's serious.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
Center, pretty college what have you.
Speaker 11 (13:37):
Yeah, he's been a good athlete. I think something that
we preach here is just like kind of the more
you can do. So I mean, obviously Olan, you know,
you can't just have one position. Got to be able
to play at least too. So he's working through that
and he's doing good.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
That left art.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Somebody who's like always asking you questions.
Speaker 11 (13:54):
You appreciate it, Yeah, definitely. I mean I was once
in that place. Wants to know shoes too, So I
mean I can understanding and see his viewpoint and you know,
some viewpoints where he may not be able to see yet.
For I'm looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to it.
Be a good competition, interesting, feel like.
Speaker 4 (14:19):
Everything you guys.
Speaker 11 (14:21):
Yeah, Yeah, he looks good to me, you know, that's
all I can tell. He looks good to me.
Speaker 5 (14:30):
Mm hmm. Yeah, how was going up against?
Speaker 11 (14:35):
Yeah, it's been a good competition. Tomorrow will be a
test for us. It's been a Wilson's win against real
competition or I guess opponents.
Speaker 5 (14:43):
But practice has been good.
Speaker 11 (14:44):
It's been a battle daily or every time we've been
in bad so it's been great for me. Yeah, yeah,
you definitely, you definitely got a skylar a little bit
or just know who you're going against. That's just what
any opponent, so you know, treated as a game. Yeah,
it'll be it'll be interesting, it'll be fun. You know,
(15:07):
happy for them, but it'll be fun.
Speaker 5 (15:09):
It'll kind of.
Speaker 11 (15:12):
Me uh, probably Dietrich, but you know, nothing I haven't
already seen before.
Speaker 12 (15:16):
So yeah, he's a got three offensive line coaches and
the stuff. What are the advances of that?
Speaker 11 (15:23):
Really just coaching technique, coaching technique or whether you know
one coach may not see something the other one sees
it in a different way. We have a lot of conversations,
so we all just speak about technique, speak about play,
how we understand things. So it's great for insight. He's
a good player, I mean, star player that's been in
the league for a long time. So definitely just got
to do my study on him and just make sure
(15:44):
I'm ready, Like.
Speaker 12 (15:47):
How does this offensive line compare.
Speaker 11 (15:51):
I'm not gonna compare it, but this offensive line is good,
and we have a lot of young talent, a lot
of guys that can play, and a lot of experience.
Speaker 5 (15:56):
So I'm excited about this year.
Speaker 1 (16:00):
He's on the left side right now.
Speaker 10 (16:01):
M and Jared.
Speaker 12 (16:02):
What gives you confidence that that would work, because that's
not something in general the teams. I don't think teams say, hey,
we're gonna start two rookies on the left side.
Speaker 5 (16:09):
Yeah, they're good athletes.
Speaker 11 (16:12):
As an old line, we're as a group, so you know,
we all make sure we're on the same court, you know,
on the same page. So you know, regardless of what
year they are, they are good players and you know,
I'm sure they will compete and so that they belong there.
Speaker 12 (16:23):
I know you said before that you're a football player,
you're going to move around.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
Nice.
Speaker 5 (16:29):
Yeah, it's it's been nice to be in one spot.
Speaker 11 (16:31):
I think it's probably been a while side only played
one position the whole year, So it's nice, feels good.
Speaker 5 (16:38):
M seems like a lot of stuff M M.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Things like that. I feel like that's similar.
Speaker 5 (16:48):
I think we have a good mix of play.
Speaker 11 (16:50):
So definitely with the past game in with the wrong game,
but I think they marry up with each other, So
it's been good to see so far.
Speaker 1 (16:58):
Just for those young guys, Like what kind of advice
would you give.
Speaker 11 (17:01):
The Yeah, yeah, as far as playing, you know, just communication.
Depending on the guys around you, the sinner is gonna
be your best friend as an anterior guy, like like
like you just said, there's two rookies on the left
right now, so you know, the more communication, the more
on cue that they are. And just as far as
about the year they're they're both athletes, they've been playing
(17:22):
a long time, so just as far as taking care
of your body, just staying in the treatment room, staying
on top of your diet, and just making sure you're
good with everything.
Speaker 6 (17:31):
For sure, forward playing against somebody else.
Speaker 13 (17:40):
I mean, we've been going against each other since the spring,
so I think it'll be good to go against other people,
see different matchups, kind of see what.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
We ad as a team.
Speaker 13 (17:47):
So I think as a team overall, we ready, but
you know, we'll find out when the time comes. Todown,
I would say, I for sure caught the ball. I
think the main focus was getting both feed and bonds,
(18:08):
which I think I did, you know, but who knows?
So you know it was fortune and three you know,
gotta have the situation, and uh, Drake just kind of
got flushed out the pocket just receive him making plays.
So I say, you know, it's important for receiving a
(18:29):
quarterback to have chemistry.
Speaker 5 (18:30):
Like you said.
Speaker 13 (18:31):
You know, every day we out here working on anything
we missed during practice, anything he wanted. I just asked him.
Kind of, even if I'm not running the route, I'll
just go to him and ask him anything you need.
You know, it would never hurt to help him work
on what he need to work on. So I say,
(18:51):
with our two corners down, I think DJ did a
tremendous job stepping up, filling in that role, you know,
kind of smaller corner, but he giving us the looks
we need.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
So a big shout out to him.
Speaker 13 (19:03):
Yeahs Ago, I say, much better now than I was
two years ago, coming off ankle surgeries. Uh, just kind
of getting my footing back under myself. I feel better,
I play worry free about the ankle, so I'm able
to move how I want.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
Nowsome.
Speaker 13 (19:24):
I really wouldn't say. I really wouldn't say it bothered
me last year or the year before. I think what
a lot of people failed to realize just ankle is
a big muscle that you need in order to do
the things we do. You know, we run out, so
we plant all day everything like that, So it's a
lot more to go into it than.
Speaker 5 (19:40):
When people realize to.
Speaker 13 (19:46):
H Yeah, I feel like I'm able to do everything
I do. I still wrap both of my ankles every
day just in case. You know, Jones, I'm not gonna
see beachers too much being that were on the perimeter.
But uh, you know John was with his last year
great cornerback, smart, versatile, so it'll be.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
A good matchup. Mm hmm.
Speaker 13 (20:17):
I wouldn't say it was broken, but I was still
kind of getting my feeling being that I just had
surgery too, so I think a couple of months before
that made probably a year honestly.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
But it's still it still was new to me.
Speaker 13 (20:33):
It was my first ever injury, so just trying to
kind of get a feel for it. I think focus,
I mean focuses receivers obviously, everything I want, like I
(20:55):
said previous interview, you know, physicality, just staying in the
weight room, things like that, and I think my main
focus this off season is coming.
Speaker 5 (21:03):
Back in shape.
Speaker 13 (21:04):
So I feel like I came back in shape, picked
up where I left off at and not getting in
shape while we're going. So I think that was my
main focus is coming back ready to row.
Speaker 5 (21:15):
I'm good.
Speaker 13 (21:15):
I just try to take a day by day, you know,
kind of think about the overview of everything. It it seemed long,
everything like that, So just kind of being with my
feet up day by day.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
I feel better about it.
Speaker 13 (21:29):
You know, as time going, you know, you make plays,
feel more confident playing the game, feel more confident. So
this is really all about getting I wouldn't say comfortable,
but like confident.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
Sup.
Speaker 13 (21:48):
I just say I think I'm gonna speak from a
perspective of every receiver that we have instead of one,
But I'll just say, honestly, Uh, any guy on our
team could make plays. I think I'm not surprised by
the things he do. It might surprise y'all, but we
see it on the.
Speaker 5 (22:04):
Day to day.
Speaker 13 (22:05):
We know what everybody capable of, so it really don't
surprise us.
Speaker 1 (22:09):
Going, yeah, why was that.
Speaker 13 (22:19):
In the spring, just kind of thinking of last season
and the little success I had, just kind of want
to builds off of that.
Speaker 11 (22:28):
You know, I don't want to.
Speaker 13 (22:29):
Set myself back, but have these high expectations. So it's
just kind of keeping myself on that path.
Speaker 5 (22:35):
Did you add anything.
Speaker 12 (22:36):
Or change your off season routine.
Speaker 13 (22:38):
To make sure that you Oh, no, it was just
I wouldn't really say I added anything. I kind of
did the same thing, just kind of didn't slack or anything.
So yeah, I'll just say it's a quarterback in the
receiver making a great play. So shout out to j D.
Speaker 10 (23:04):
Guys, don't I don't.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
I can't playing.
Speaker 10 (23:11):
And I'm always looking forward to that. You know, It's
it'll also be nice shitting other scheme. You know some
elade players. You know, those guys a playoff team last year,
so it's always you know, nicee how.
Speaker 14 (23:22):
You measure up against those guys.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
Teammates.
Speaker 14 (23:29):
I'm happy to see those guys, man, those my dogs.
Speaker 10 (23:31):
Now you put a lot of blood sweat into this
time on task together. You know, hopefully they're doing well,
but you know they come back, you know, I hope
now we get the best of them.
Speaker 1 (23:44):
That'll be a good task.
Speaker 10 (23:45):
I mean obviously we can't you know, tackle in practice,
but just to see how many times he breaks contained,
see what QB runs with, hit things like that, because
we you know, we play against some some good mobile
quarterbacks this year. So definitely see how we you know,
track our eyes, our guys get off the blocks.
Speaker 14 (24:01):
Things like that for sure, for sure.
Speaker 10 (24:07):
But then you have the element of the QB run
design run, you know, where they have one more extra
guy than you can block. So you know, it's it's
it's gonna be fun. I'm excited to see it. I'm
excited to see it. Younger, great, great, young rookie. You know,
all of our rookies have came in and done what
they've been asked to do. Now they brought into the process.
(24:29):
It's all about just getting better, getting acclimated to the speed,
getting acclimated to the talent, and you know, just getting
in that good physical football shape. So you know it's
the earliest, only week two camp and you know, those
guys who got a long way to go.
Speaker 12 (24:44):
We've seen you, big safety. Can you spend time watching
Kevin Bayern and maybe some of the ways that the
Tennessee utilize them and think like, hey, I can step.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
In that some of those things.
Speaker 10 (24:55):
Definitely, you definitely watch guys who excelled in this system.
He's one of them, and I'm just gonna you know,
give my best and do what I gotta do, you know,
whenever they ask me to do something.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
You know, we have a lot of virtuti of.
Speaker 10 (25:08):
Guys on the team who can you know, play different sports,
and I'm excited to see how to use all of us.
Just like you said, man, he's an explosive quarterback, can
make plays with his arms and legs. You know, we
still have a little bit more time on task to
do on them, but obviously watching them from last year,
(25:29):
big playability. Could make any throw on the field, and
he can you know, get you a couple first down
or some touchdowns.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
With his legs.
Speaker 14 (25:35):
So, like I said, we're looking forward to the challenge to.
Speaker 5 (25:50):
Just go out and have fun.
Speaker 10 (25:51):
You know, don't don't leave no stone on turn, don't
dip your toe in the water. You know, they're evaluating
this film as if it's a game. You know, it's
a lot of great players on that side of the ball,
and they want to see you go out and compete,
and they want to see you win your matchups. You know,
those guys get paid too, But you know, we want
to see only good things on tape.
Speaker 14 (26:07):
So you know that's gonna be my mindset.
Speaker 5 (26:09):
That's gonna be my message.
Speaker 10 (26:12):
Last year. You know, anytime you get a playoff team
to come to practice against you or play them to
see how you measure up, you know against the time,
I mean against the talent that they have over there,
you know, it's it's a great opportunity for you. So
(26:33):
you know we're gonna be focused. I know they're gonna
be focused. So it should be a good time.
Speaker 1 (26:41):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 14 (26:44):
Uh.
Speaker 10 (26:44):
You know it's still still growing, but I definitely think
you know, we've come together, you know a little bit better.
We both see football the same way, both think that
it should be played the same way as well as
you know, the rest of the coaches. So you know,
it's a good mess. But you know, we still got
a little ways to go. But you know, I'm happy here.
I'm having to play for him.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
You're still.
Speaker 10 (27:05):
I've definitely, definitely still added things to the game. You know,
you can never you can never know enough, you know,
be a student of the game. And I watched a
lot of tape. You know, see what works well for guys,
see what doesn't work well for guys. And then you
know guys that have my my specific body type, you know,
see what worked well for them things of that nature.
So you know you're always trying to try to get
that percent better.
Speaker 14 (27:24):
For sure.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 10 (27:27):
Like I guy like guys like Bob Sanders, I've been watching,
you know, just just the name one. I ain't gonna
give away my whole blueprint, but.
Speaker 1 (27:34):
I've been watching a lot of his tape.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Year it was, you know, I'm just curious on getting
me opportunities to just go out there proper football.
Speaker 14 (27:49):
How that that's been tremendous.
Speaker 1 (27:51):
You know, that's basically all I ever wanted to do.
Speaker 10 (27:54):
But so New Year got a new opportunity, a great opportunity,
new coaching staff, new team. You know, it's being up
to the stepping up to the plate, excited for the challenge.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
M hm, thank you.
Speaker 4 (28:04):
S
