Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, Grace his football field. It's so wonderful time.
So just being able to you know, get through this
week and you know, you did the playbook and get
everybody on the same same page as it's been fun.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
How much have you seen this group evolved from the
start to where you guys are going in and season.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
It's been fun. Man. We've taken tries every day, you know,
just you know, number one, getting to know on another
every day, and then just coming out there and playing
effortless football, man, and being being able to play complimentary football.
So you know, when you go against a great defense
like we got, you get challenged every day. You get
different different guys up there every day. So it's been
good just to be out there, you know and possing
and techniques and things.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Well, we're saying that he could sense that it is
a game yesterday. I mean, like what you tell kind
of the young guys that.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
I mean, you know, he's been through it, man, He's
been He's played big college ball. You know, he's been
playing in the preseason. So you know, just trying to
tell him, you know, obviously, you know you know this
this is where it counts, you know, you know, it's
gonna be a little bit faster pace out there. You know,
a lot more veteran guys has played this game for
a long time, so you know, you just got to
keep your p's and q's in this week one, you know.
So there's a lot of things that will we might
see that we haven't seen in the preseason tapes and

(01:02):
things like that. So just being able to just on
the sideline and take those things and go back out
there on the field and nextecute.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
Do you get any more juice?

Speaker 4 (01:08):
Suff just knowing the big one child was the guy.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Like Pat one hundred percent. You know, anytime you get
you need to get to grace the football field on
Sundays as an opportunity. But you know, being able to
go out there and compete against a high quality guy
and there is always always the key.

Speaker 5 (01:21):
What makes him such a difficult player, you.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Know, for him in his effort man, you know, everything
he does on the football field is one hundred percent.
It's fast twitch, you know. Obviously, you know Casey played
with him last year, so being able to pick his
brain about little things and things like that. But you know,
just going out there and just and playing football, man,
knowing your assignment and doing your techniques and knowing that, uh,
you know, you got to block that guy into the whistle?

Speaker 6 (01:43):
What for THELUS coaches say, it's the term following your
groups when it comes to what you guys are gonna
go through.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
What does that mean to you?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I'm just doing your job, man. You know obviously, you
know we we we installed a lot of things out
throughout the weeks and throughout training camp and just knowing
your job, not trying to do too much, not trying
to be a superhero out there, but just playing your role.
And I think you know we would do that, would
be would be good on Sundays more.

Speaker 5 (02:04):
Than what are you expected to be your first home game?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Excited? Man? You know obviously you know going through the
the uh you know, training camp, the preseason games and
seeing the crowd out there and then you know the
you know, the practices that we had in the stadium
and things like that. Man, it's excited to be out
there to run through that tunnel on Sunday and and
see all the all the fans are gonna be out
there cheering us.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
On how many rinkles are thrown at you on week one?
Like how much is kind of held back of the
preseason where you don't.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Know's you know that that's that's the beauty of football.
You know, everybody plays through preseason. You know it's a
different pace and in week one and you know it
gets faster and then and then it gets faster when
you get to the playoffs and and things like that.
And so just adjusting going out there and playing. You know,
obviously you know, I've been been on that field for
a for a while from time now, so just being
able to adjust and and going out there and execute.
But the main part is just going out there and

(02:48):
having fun.

Speaker 7 (02:49):
What's your advice for the repeats on the line, like Charing,
you know, just you know, keep poised, you know, be poised,
believe in that the techniques and the work that you
put in for these last six weeks, and then go
out there and play football.

Speaker 1 (03:02):
Man. You know, you guys are here for for for
for a reason. You know, you're drafted for a reason,
and you know obviously they work their tails off all
off season and all training camp to be in the
roles that they are, So just going out there not
doubting you.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
So how much have you guys.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Rotate out I'm always ready to go. Man. I've been
in the league for twelve years, so you know, just
polishing the techniques and doing what I'm asked up. So
I'm excited to hit the field running.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Thank you sir. Ready for the season opener?

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I feel good.

Speaker 4 (03:35):
I'm just ready to go out there with the guys
and see how we played. Yeah, what's that like? The
unknown of a coop, especially with two new head coaches,
two new staffs, and a lot of your face something.

Speaker 8 (03:44):
And that's how you know we wanted you know, definitely
new staff, so that that's what makes it because they
got a new staff to act, so that makes it,
you know, both probably going back to old games and
stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
But it's gonna be excited for Uh, two teams going now. Yeah,
y'all saying the term follow your rules, it's a group.

Speaker 3 (04:03):
What does that mean?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
Thanks for the secret? Uh, do what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
You know, if you do what you're supposed to do,
all gonna follow a line.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
So everybody got.

Speaker 5 (04:13):
What they need to do every single place.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
So you do what you're supposed to do.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Shouldn't be successful.

Speaker 9 (04:18):
Pop this guy in a couple of lockers down here,
what's impressed about him and his approach.

Speaker 10 (04:24):
In the time of gotten Oh man, good, good guy.
Definitely a player, you know, a team player. Uh, he's
gonna be good for this team.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Man.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
He just he can do a lot.

Speaker 10 (04:38):
You know, it's gonna be exciting and you know, come
see him ball and it's gonna be his first game.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
It's gonna be excited. What is it about his skill
set that's exciting everything?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Man?

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Uh, you watch this film from college.

Speaker 10 (04:49):
I mean that that stands out, you know, good to
the ball in his hand and the balls his hand
and goodbye.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
You know, just just gonna be hard to catch.

Speaker 5 (04:57):
You take it back to your time with your first game.

Speaker 4 (05:00):
What do you remember from the first game was kind
of like that or was it like for you first
game that was against the Eagles.

Speaker 5 (05:07):
Uh, that was pretty It was pretty.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
It was pretty good.

Speaker 11 (05:10):
You know, my first catt was a screen, so that
was the that was crazy because you know, they had
a crazy D line. So you know that my first
play D line running straight out, so that that was different.
But I feel like that that woke me up because
that was a good defense that first NFL H yeah,

(05:30):
uh kind of. I don't think I think my first
NFL like hit probably Giants. That's probably the only one
that really it was a hit of like okay, welcome
to the league.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
That probably be the only one.

Speaker 9 (05:43):
You mentioned the screens and you know, defensive lineman chasing you.
They've got a great pass ustaurant on the other side,
how would you you know, you're not playing offensive line,
you're playing quarterback.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
But how aware do you even the receivers have.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
To be that they haven't the talented guy like that.
Oh very man.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
I gotta get open before he could get back there.
You know, everybody know Mac. Everybody knows he's that guy.
So uh, you know, my, my, I gotta you know,
get him out right before he can get back there, so.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
I get over. How much you like to establish home field?

Speaker 3 (06:12):
How much would you like to establish home field starting
on Sunday?

Speaker 5 (06:15):
And I needed needed.

Speaker 11 (06:17):
I don't think I wanted my first game here, yeah,
in the season, so I needed needed for the fans excitement.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
You know, bring that come.

Speaker 11 (06:28):
Loud, be loud ready, you know, like we're gonna get
our juice from them to you know, we're gonna bring
our own juice.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
But you know it's it's different.

Speaker 11 (06:37):
We got the fans behind you to it and they
bring that energy and the whole energy around the England.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
That's gonna be good.

Speaker 9 (06:43):
Ott identity that you guys as an offense can sort
of establish this first game this seasons.

Speaker 4 (06:49):
Is there a certain way that you guys want to
play that you're trying to show us? I think I
guess we got I guess you got to established that.

Speaker 11 (06:58):
You know this week, you know see what our real
mentality is, you know, going to get somebody else.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
I feel like that'll show us who we are.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So I can't answer that.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
The next minute I'll come find Yeah, all.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
The work with the did finally get to put on
the field and the regular see something like ready.

Speaker 9 (07:17):
To go to wall with my mother?

Speaker 6 (07:18):
What's it like the unknown factor going into a game
like this with new staffs, teams doing this. I say,
usually it's just it's usually a bit nervous, but like
I'm super positive about the staff man and the teams
to put together. Man, uh, all the things we kind
of preached all.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
See, we stuck to it.

Speaker 6 (07:37):
It'll still preach the same thing and it's getting said
every day.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
So I'm pretty pretty.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Excited about going in type right now.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
Antonio, how importady from your experience in the league.

Speaker 11 (07:47):
How important is continuity for players careers and coaches careers
and making sure all the field everybody's in the same paras,
in the same system, same culture.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
I feel like that's like super important, man, Like that's
that's probably one of the biggest things I've seen this
year been my whole career, Like everybody from from the
head coach to like every room is preaching the same thing.
And not to knock other organizations or other teams, I've
been on the other coaches staff, but like some is
just like certain rooms, you know. But like when I
say everything is getting relaid down from the head man

(08:17):
to to whoever's you know that the bottom light is
all being the same, said the same, we talked the same,
we speak the same like like, and that's that's super
important because it just helps out the whole team. So
it's you see one thing, oh, like, oh I've seen this,
Like everybody knows what you're talking about.

Speaker 5 (08:32):
What makes a big difference.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
What does follow your rules being from us from coming
from you follow your rules like as a player or
team coaches saying.

Speaker 5 (08:42):
Oh, like for the players, so basically, do your job.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Do you want to live it?

Speaker 5 (08:45):
Man?

Speaker 6 (08:46):
Coaches have rules set up for us to be successful.
I'm pretty sure they've seen it.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
It works and we've seen it it showing us to tape.

Speaker 6 (08:53):
It works. So as long as you do our job
and we're locked in on what we need to do,
everything works out all the time. When we do we're
supposed to do, and the all levels on the same
page as you a good outcome. Of course, they get
paid too, so they'll make you play something every here
now and damn, what.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
If we do what's supposed to do?

Speaker 11 (09:09):
This should at the outposhginn If you're just talking about
it being able to have a home game and start
the season off.

Speaker 4 (09:15):
You've done this a couple of years, But what's that
like to be able to start the season off at home?

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Now you're at home and you at the home field advantage,
you get the fans involved. Uh, nothing's like that that
that we went gaming and to be home. Everybody's coming out.
It's a new season, so the energy level is just
going to be crazy for a week, win everybody everywhere.
But like to be home and to have your fan
based behind you, that's just another I feel like they extended.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Hype about it.

Speaker 12 (09:40):
I guess I think just week one across the league
is always exciting because you guys always get to see, you.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Know, something new.

Speaker 12 (09:46):
Nobody who knows what your offense is gonna look like,
and it's kind of a chance for fans for us.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
To get a first impression. What do you hope that
first impression is of this offense?

Speaker 1 (09:54):
What do you guys?

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Positive one?

Speaker 6 (09:56):
First of all? But man, I hope we show our
identity play out as excuse. We play our butts off
with nothing but effort, finishing. You know, come that fourth quarter,
now we're still going. You know I didn't I won't
say identity.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
But buy then.

Speaker 5 (10:11):
I hope everybody knows what our identity is not a football.

Speaker 13 (10:18):
I think the biggest scene is just the preparation, you know,
just trying to come in here each and every day
and just put in the work and stay focused. And
so it's been a slow week fielding up, and so
it's been a lot of work put in, and so
we got a couple more days left and.

Speaker 5 (10:30):
Then it's start to put it all out on the field.

Speaker 3 (10:32):
What is the key for you there? Just carry over
what you've managed to do in the preseason.

Speaker 13 (10:37):
I think the biggest scenes at the ball and uh
tech the ball and our identity as well, you know,
you know, putting out effort, trying to finish and uh,
it's gonna be a long game and.

Speaker 2 (10:49):
So yeah, how much have you heard just about how
much the pains and everything about the game is about
to change.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
For the pre season.

Speaker 13 (10:57):
Yeah, I think, you know, playing at the uge level,
you know, the game is definitely faster, Guys are bigger,
guys are stronger, and so yeah, you know that's Yeah,
you got.

Speaker 5 (11:09):
Fai family to watch the game. Yeah, my mom, my
mom is coming up and my brothers, So it'll be
a good time. What have they been telling you? How
excited are that they got to be? Yeah, they're excited. Yeah.
What are you gonna do for uh especially, I don't know,
you know, I just got to continue to put into word.
We'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 12 (11:28):
Josh McDaniels talked about trying not to like do too
much on offense, especially in week one, and I think
for you especially too, I'm for the adrenaline is going
to be pumping week one, your first game. How do
you make sure you're not you know, overplaying? Do you
kind of have to like pump the brakes a little bit.
How do you stay poised and compose and make sure
you're not doing too much?

Speaker 13 (11:47):
Yeah, I think the biggest thing is just trying to
keep my poise, just try to go out there and
relaxed and break you know. The biggest thing is your
Prosy's games. You feel the nerves, you know, it's like
kick up and stuff, and so that the biggest thing.
I just try to take time to get in a word,
you know, get in a miable and just take time
to pray and just set my mind in my heart

(12:07):
on the Lord before I go out there. It just
it just helps me out, you know, you know, before
I go out to games.

Speaker 5 (12:13):
It just helped me out. You know.

Speaker 13 (12:14):
My thing is to do my part and the rest
I just leave up there that some of the older
guys gonna giving you some advice or any worse.

Speaker 5 (12:21):
Going into your NFL in view your realized not yet,
not yet. Yeah, I feel like we've been so locked in.
You know.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Will was saying that he like felt the difference to
walking in the building this week. Does it feel like
a different week knowing this gamely?

Speaker 1 (12:41):
Uh?

Speaker 13 (12:43):
I mean yeah, I feel like We pretty much approach
every day this every day the same. You know, we've
been putting a lot of work and so I mean,
of course we got game week, but I feel like,
you know, just the preparation.

Speaker 5 (12:54):
That is going to be going there.

Speaker 13 (12:55):
You know, we've been coming and preparing heart each and
every day, and so I don't really feel too much
every day different, just.

Speaker 5 (13:00):
Knowing, you know, how hard we've been preparing.

Speaker 3 (13:02):
What what do you make a chip Kelly as a coach?
You pass along.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
He's a great coach, you know. I know he's gonna
I know he's gonna do uh a good job there.

Speaker 13 (13:12):
And you know, I'm happy for him. You know, I'm
happy that he's got the oportunity to coach. And then
I feel again he put.

Speaker 5 (13:19):
A lot of good things on a lot, you know,
I know the biggest thing is just the work that
I put into practice.

Speaker 13 (13:29):
You know that that really has been in confidence is
just you know, taking those reps to our practice and
getting ready for the game and just trying to put
out all out on the field.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
And so

Speaker 3 (13:40):
