Speaker 1 (00:01):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I mean you looking forward to the second meeting here,
one of the biggest games we've seen around here and.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
For a while us it's gonna be it's gonna be
a good environment. We've been trying to build it out
droughout this year as far as like giving on a
fan something to cheer for, what a bigger moment for
them and obviously a great opportunity for us, and I'm excited.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
You can't really tell, but.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
What's an opportunity to win the division mean and doesn't
mean anything extra gets stacked up.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
It means a lot you work hard all year. We
kind of echoed it earlier on in November. November is
when football starts. November, in December all the meaning for
football December and January. So we're kind of teetering that
line and getting to that point. So right now we
got a great opportunity in front of us, like why
not go chase it? We work hard all year. I mean,
you know years are hard y, allow of.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Guys banged up, bruised up, but we grinded. We built
a really.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Built the team out of camaraderie and a lot of bonda.
So going out there and playing as a unit is
gonna be super.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Important stuff when you signed here, I'm sure yourself the
text within this group and in this team, but you
like to go through training camp and you see what
this team is all about. Did this team grow faster
than we've been expected.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
I've been on a lot of teams, so I would
hardly say yes, I wanted to. And I think it
kind of started with coach Raves mainly. You know, he
kind of started talking about like identity and things like that.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
And in the.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Past you kind of like, uh, you kind of figure
out what team you were throughout the year. You know,
which you were good at, what you were going to
do well, what you weren't, and what.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
You want to try to be good at.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
But he kind of started off from the gig go
what we were going to preach as hard, effort and
finish things like that. Some things that I did a
little bit throughout my career, but this was probably it
was the most prominent, you know, this year going into
this area and you know, really identifying or define.

Speaker 2 (01:49):
What a leader.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
You know, different teams require different things. Now you know,
when it comes down to effort and finish, He's not negotiable,
you know, talking for your guys down the field is
not negotiable. Kind of builds the higher art or like
just as far as the standard, you know that your
best players are you know, giving it all for everybody,
so everybody funds suits.

Speaker 6 (02:07):
Yeah, what's your biggest difference trying to prepare for a team.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
I wouldn't say it's a It's obviously a challenge, but
I want to say a difference because you are who
you are. They're gonna give you some different looks and
different wrinkles to kind of like, you know, mess with
your eys. You know, as a receiver, you might see
a different coverage, see a guy in a different position,
but they are who they are. They're gonna do what
they do well as far as like you know, as
a as a defensive coach and as a staff like
you always got wrinkles and stuff to try to, you know,

(02:36):
mix it up a little bit. But who you identify
as and what you like to play and what you're
good at. You know, you're trying not to straight too
far away from that because then you know you'll be
out of position. But you can anticipate things being a
little different. But it's you know, it's a challenge. It's
gonna be a challenge that hell of a football team
and they've been winning.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
It's gonna be it's gonna be a lot of fun challenge.
You have that same challenge on you already played them.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Yeah, I mean off as they might have seen some
things that you might have did particularly well or some
things you didn't do well. So I mean it's gonna be.
That's why I said it's just a it's definitely a challenge.
Is because you know, it's like a state game. I'm
a little older battleship. We'll see how it goes.

Speaker 6 (03:17):
Someone's given me atmosphere, the stakes in the game and
the opponent you're facing, Mike to be head.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
Of a good ramp up game or.

Speaker 7 (03:27):
Good experience for you to have to getting the season.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
I've been there, so I look at it as another game.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
It's just this this game is a little different because
you play for something you got allowed to play for.
Every team in the league can't say that this week
they're playing for something other.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Than just wanting to win.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Come.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
You know, we obviously want to go one to know,
but uh, it's a.

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Little you know, I feel like, you know, we talked
about the potential of this team. Things like that, and
you know it all can go hisplanic if you continue
to keep putting left in front of the right and
winning game.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Going want to know, but.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
You know, obviously it's something that we could accomplish this week,
So we don't want to take.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
A leni this week. This week the strength of.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Why do you think that?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Is unselfishness? You know, I'm now I would never sit
up here at like a robot and act like I
don't want the ball. But I mean I can tell
you the guy next to you right here and got
next to him.

Speaker 5 (04:20):
Everybody wants to know.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Everybody wants to play at a high level, and it's
like a it's like seven dogs in one bone.

Speaker 5 (04:26):
You know.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
That's why when you.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
See guys out there and they playing or playing at
a high level and treating everything like this last you
just don't.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Know when you're gonna get it again. It's a lot
of guys that can get open and play at high level.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
So I just think that it's unselfish and you know
you're pulling for your brother. That's why you see guys
blocking down field for a receiver and you see guys
like throwing an extra little block here and there.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
It's just because you know you're really willing enough good
for your brother.

Speaker 7 (04:47):
And you really mean you care about Why do you
why do you think that there's a trust in this
group that it's going to eventually be your terms pop
turn everybody.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
I think it's because you know, you can't really row
it up during the week, and you know where guy's.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Being different spots and then that kind of thing.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
But uh, it's just so many special players on the
offensive side of the ball that you know it's going
to happen for you. You know you'll be open. Just
continue to get open. We have like this little saying
like which, what's what you're gonna do?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
You gonna stopt open?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
He was out catching them all.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
So, uh, you know, it's just as I said, like
a seven dollars bone, it's only one ball to go around.
Just make the most of your opportunities. And you see
the young kids, you know, young kids been bagging for opportunity.

Speaker 5 (05:25):
They trying to get out there.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
They've been playing at all level.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
So seeing kylecasts tells and stuff like that, you kind
of started seeing like, shit, it's gonna.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
Turn the corner for everybody.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
At one point, how nice has been to have the
guy feeding with.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
The ball watch him row and when you've played.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
With Josh Allen, you know the MVP type caliber player.
He is going to see Drake continue to grow right
there with his maturation process that he was second to
none in my OS.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
And as far as uh being a quarterback, it's a
very hard position, you know, So now he has a
supporting cast. Definitely, you got some guys, you got some
running backs and tight ends. But when it comes down
just so individual making good decisions consistently.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
He's he's been doing that.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
As far as the MVP conversation, that guy on outside
of the about to play against a hell of a player,
you know, I believe that that team kind of goes
through him, you know. And at this point, you know,
I like our guy, our guy who's been playing shame
as well.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
You know, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna put it
all on him.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
We've obviously been supporting him, but he's done a great
job of making good decisions playing and play out and
I'm super proud of him. Anticipating this game being no different,
We're just going to all have to give up best
effort and be open, be available, you know, as he's
still a young quarterback and being open doesn't.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Do nothing else. If you know, Josh, uh, what did
Josh all?

Speaker 1 (06:33):
You know?

Speaker 6 (06:34):
The close game at the end, what are you gonna
be reminded? Your defense is never the game? You know
what I'm saying very much. He's a hell of a quarterback.
You know, I don't think our defense any more coaching points.

Speaker 5 (06:46):
I'm not running over there.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
That's how you get cussed out. I leave that for
the cool steph. You guys are actually under some of your.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
I didn't know.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
That's first something. I heard him good.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
As a leader and someone who's played in big games before.
What's kind of your messaging to the young guys.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
Who haven't had to play in a high stakes game
like this and what it takes to come out in
that in that type of environment.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Do your job, you know during the week you go
are in it during the week, and you know, being
on your keys and being on communication. That's our big
games of arts. Communication make the players that come to
you. You can't really control myself. I don't think about it
more than the game that you just playing since you
were five, you know, I'm pretty sure when we had
state championships and literally you know that was the end
all be all at your at that moment. So it's

(07:27):
no different just.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
The game you've been playing, but out there, I mean
treated like you care about if you love it. You know,
I don't know how other people and I'm just tell
them right now. I see how Sunday.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
When when Drake was first drapped, a lot of comparisons
made between him and Josh Allen.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
Having played with both of them, and how.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Drake is going to move reps. Do you see them
being more similar? We're dissimilar in terms of how they
approached the game. M It's a it's a different offense.
That offense over there. They'll do a lot of scamma drill.
They'll do a lot of different stuff like we do
some differ of things here. I mean as far as
like talent. Though it is August, you know, it's very
apparent that.

Speaker 3 (08:04):
You know, he can make every throw, he can run,
you know, if you want to kind of go like
that route they woken.

Speaker 2 (08:09):
They're both mobile.

Speaker 5 (08:10):
They can throw the ball, but I think this league.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Is field quarterback like mob and throw the ball.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Those guys really can make plays at a high level,
and they just look a little different when they make
those plays, you know, when they make those grows so
those key throws. So for me, I could see the comparison,
but two totally different openers.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
I've been in vothing, Josh.

Speaker 7 (08:25):
Dagos, it seems like the last time you guys played
Buffalo was almost like the catalyst for you know, the
big waiting streaking a lot of momentum for you guys.
Just how much do you feel like you guys have
grown ups since a.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Long time ago? You know what?

Speaker 3 (08:40):
I think a lot of things have happened throughout the
season that we kind of learned from. Even even that game.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
We learned a lot from that game and we were like, damn,
if we had this back, he would have did this differently.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
We would have did that differently. But Oswell, Innswell. When
you win the game and then you learn a lot
throughout the season, that's gonna help you towards the end.
And uh, the landscape looks of the movie a little coders,
a little some wint or weather, whatever it is.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
I think the biggest thing for us is packing with
our identity and who we are, who we like to do,
and that's finishing plays, and that's being aggressive and that's
being smart. So that's how I guess you.

Speaker 9 (09:15):
Guys have already seen a lot of people's expectations on
the number of wins you have.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
You just sturted, you guys are under bogs this week.

Speaker 9 (09:21):
If you felt like or have you sense it all
that this team plays with sort of a like nobody
believed in us mentality and real age.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I think that's why I said it was good. This
team is full of teams that was like, you know,
cast offs and people who were cut on people who didn't.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
That's approach. So I mean, we're excited to get out
of this challenge. Everybody knows what to bring the Bills bringing.
We're really excited to get out there and we playing
at a home game. Did you let's gonna be rocky,
it's gonna be realized, said when Rape said.

Speaker 5 (09:53):
We're gonna go out and in the division. Did you
believe in?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Of course?

Speaker 10 (09:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (09:57):
Did you take anything in order to buy in?

Speaker 4 (09:59):
Give them the way the last couple of years, whether
you have to see anything or did you when you
said it like we're gonna beat me?

Speaker 5 (10:05):
You always want to see stuff on the field. It's
like everybody who bought it in the right away.

Speaker 8 (10:11):
So to get it right with you know, despite having
already be fills this season and your record, you guys
were listed as underdogs in this one. Does that motivate
you or take you guys off at all?

Speaker 5 (10:23):
It could for some people me and not really.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
I mean I feel like as a team, we were
not really too worried about, you know, where we lie
as underdogs. You know, the favorites, whoever's out there, whoever
we're going against. We're gonna go out there and play
our style of football, and you know, go out there
and try to get away.

Speaker 8 (10:45):
What's it like preparing for those team that is just
relentless and never giving up. We've seen how many you know, comebacks,
Josh Allen, Can you can leave the offense on? What's
it like having to pregas for that?

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 1 (10:55):
I mean it's it bring such a big challenge, Josh Allen.
We lose the MVP for a reason. He's that's so
many good things with his arm, his feet, He's got
playmakers around him, and they're never out of the game.
I mean even just last week he was they were up,
but the Bengals by two scores in the fourth quarter
with about eight minutes and they came back and one.

(11:15):
So we know it's it's it's gonna be a dogfight.
Uh So this guy go out there and compete in playoffs,
fourth quarters or.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
After a lot of takes.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
In terms of the quarterbacks you play against, is Josh
Allen the most difficult one to play against? Given the
way he can just draw then he can ramble.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Yeah, I mean he's definitely up there. I mean, like
I said, he was the MVP. He's taking his team
Steep into.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
The playoffs multiple times for for a reason and he's
proven so. But we look forward forward to that challenge.
I mean it's fun every time we get to see him. Yeah,
you know, we always know he's gonna bring his best
and we get to see it, you know, a live.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
And that ship.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
How important was the first game and kind of building
the identity of this team where you guys made high
quality players you want to run that everything is God
of reinforced about what you've may believed. And I'll get
out trying to paper what my braves said about wunning
a division.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
It's not the game three kind of sensed we can
we can't have all that. That was kind of a
wild back people.

Speaker 1 (12:26):
I mean it was a big win obviously going into
into their house and getting it ready on Sunday night.
But I mean they've grown so much fromm from that game,
and we grow so much, so I mean you can't
really look too much into it, like, yeah, that was
our our win.

Speaker 5 (12:41):
You know, we got to go out there and sands
due again on Sunday, so it was ready for Sunday.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
You slow down something like cook obviously, but might be
designed to go to the right, ends up on the left.

Speaker 2 (12:59):
What's challenge that?

Speaker 5 (13:00):
How do you guys have to play stan gap sound?

Speaker 10 (13:02):
For sure, that's gonna be most important as a defense man,
it's gonna be it's gonna be times where you're gonna
be eagerly wanted to get over and crossover and make
the play. But as a d line, we've been talking
about that all day. Stand gap sound man and trusting
guys behind you to play they gays and for the gap.
So that's what's gonna be about. And truly again attacking

(13:22):
the ball. He actually had some trouble with that last week.
So continue to go out to the ball and swow them.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
Down for sure, kind of expecting in the crib Sunday.

Speaker 10 (13:30):
Man, that was the little word. Still that's fine. Now
it should be it should be dope. It should be dope.
It should be packed. Man, when the last few home
games says that we have promised so far, so mind
expecting to show up and show out? Man, I know
we'll be deep. We won't be too many, too many
of those guys and I not already for sure.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
I'm sorry, Wait.

Speaker 9 (13:56):
Have it? Have it happening again or the potential for
it to happen and also to be a part of it.
I think it's cool to work that we put in
OTA's kind of coming to Fruitionia.

Speaker 8 (14:04):
What is the mentality through the week as you get
ready for your high stakes?

Speaker 5 (14:07):
Gave the first you will be many big down. Yeah.
Every game from really probably a couple of weeks.

Speaker 9 (14:13):
Ago on is only going to get more difficult as
a temperature has change, as the playoff picture kind of
works its way out.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
Every team has a little bit more tape to watch
on you because the season is longer.

Speaker 9 (14:23):
They have a little more intel on you, more tells
that they've seen from you know, some scout's fewer teams
they have to study because now they're out of the picture.

Speaker 5 (14:31):
So yeah, every game just gets more and more.

Speaker 9 (14:33):
I don't want to say difficult or art, but you
have to be more precise and really locked in the
A bunch of a.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
Mental challenge is a game like this from the sets up,
no one, Josh on the other side, you've got to
go sixty maybe more.

Speaker 5 (14:45):
It with a hard thought meant keeping the mental frame
all the way through.

Speaker 11 (14:49):
Yeah, I mean coach Coach talks about all the time
competitive stamina, and every game, you know he said it
since we won, so that you know you have that
for these long stretches and every game is getting you're
gonna need it sixty minutes.

Speaker 9 (15:02):
It's it doesn't matter who you're playing at this time
of year. And then playoffs, you better be ready to
play sixty minutes. If not, you'll you'll you'll blow it
either earlier, blow it in the full full. How is
it defeated?

Speaker 5 (15:16):
I'm not sure. I really look at it when week
at a time, so the first game means nothing.

Speaker 9 (15:21):
I wish I wish you had it roll over, like
I says kind of a lot, because I wish things
in the past could roll over and just help you
in the future.

Speaker 5 (15:28):
But it's just how it works every week. To me
is compete the same way, practice the same way.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
Be right.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
How much did you guys show yourselves though in that
first meeting, just being able to go into that ton
of environment and you.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
Can get a win on the prime time stage.

Speaker 9 (15:41):
Yeah, I think it was important, uh, because I think
that was the you know, the first big road wins.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (15:48):
But I don't think it's surprised. That's a surprise everybody else.

Speaker 9 (15:51):
I think everybody else was thinking, Wow, I can't believe
they were able to pull that off.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (15:56):
If you go into a game not confident you're gonna win,
I think it's better you will probably not play.

Speaker 5 (16:01):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (16:02):
From an individual perspective and as a team perspective, if
you're not like, hey, I want to win, I.

Speaker 5 (16:07):
Prefer you don't play.

Speaker 9 (16:08):
And as a team perspective, if you, as a team
don't think you can win, you can save everybody a
lot of money and time if you just I don't know,
surrender the game or whatever you want to do.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
I don't know if that's a league thing, but where
every game we play is to win.

Speaker 9 (16:21):
So that first one we played to win, and we're
obviously fortunate enough to get it, and now we have
another chance to get a win.

Speaker 5 (16:27):
Nothing's given you. We have to go get it, obviously,
So Markie match up, what back? What's going to like
to grow with Drake on a weekly basis to see
him get better? Yeah, it's been great.

Speaker 9 (16:35):
He's a heck of a player obviously, And again I
don't think anybody in our locker room is surprised that
what he's you know, been.

Speaker 5 (16:42):
Able to do, because we've seen it.

Speaker 9 (16:44):
Uh, But I think it's always great to have a
guy gets kind of a little more recognition as like, hey,
you've been putting in some work, but the work continues
every week. Uh, this this league has a tendency to
wipe away anything you did in the past pretty quickly.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
And it's a week two week league.

Speaker 9 (16:58):
So but yeah, it's been great to watching and grow
and continue to build his confidence as a player and leader.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
And uh, it's.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
Prepared for to play a team for the second time.

Speaker 9 (17:12):
I think you just have more info to to to
look at other than that, I think, and in this game,
your identity matters a lot more than than the opponent.
If you can do the things that have helped you
get to where you are. That's gonna be more important.
Don't don't try switching everything up now, like hey, let's
try this whole new package and putting back a quarterback.

(17:32):
As much as I'd love to be at quarterback, there's
no reason for me to start going in there just
to see what they're gonna do on defense. Uh So,
like be who you are and obviously there's some more wrinkles,
but we have a lot of a lot more tape,
so that I guess that would be the biggest difference.
Is you a week I guess it is what four
or five or something that he played them, you don't
have much tape, and now it's a week fifteen.

Speaker 6 (17:49):
Well, you know they're going to show different wrinkles defense,
but you're gonna do the same thing on offense.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
That's a case. Yeah, that's kind of how the game.
Game works.

Speaker 9 (17:55):
Everybody has a few adjustments here and there, but it's
