Speaker 3 (00:09):
The world's a vaginal podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Welcome to Patriots Unfiltered.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Oh all right, yeah, it'll look quiet today.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
A lot of axes know us talk. Yeah, I let
the ball knowers do that, all right.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
I was talking to Evan about this from Alabama. You
can I perk up now, this is like the thing
that we touched on yesterday. You wanted to get me engaged. Agents,
fans are back right six and two. There's a Super
Bowl champion.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Now.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
You can't even say that they've had a soft schedule
without getting someone's panties all in a bunch. They've literally
had the easiest schedule in the history of football since
nineteen seventy eight. You have to make fun of everybody else.
If you want to say Buffalo hasn't played anybody. Now,
I'm on board because Buffalo has the same schedule the
Patriots did.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
The AFSE schedule is a joke.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
Like the Chiefs are what the Patriots to be, Like
they are the proof of concept team. Like they have
the best quarterback in the sport, They have maybe the
best head coach in the league. They are in the
CHAN Super Bowl or the AFC Championship Game every single year.
So until that changes, they are going to be ahead
of a team like the Patriots that are breaking out

(01:17):
in a young quarterbacks career like that, I don't understand.
I'm with Paul in the fact that I don't understand
why everybody keeps calling in and saying, why is Kansas
City in Buffalo ahead of the Patriots on power rankings.

Speaker 6 (01:28):
This is Patriots Unfiltered, presented by Toyota's official website for
deals by a Toyota dot Com.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
All Right, welcome the Patriots Unfiltered. It is Thursday here
at Jillette Stadium, a rainy day in Foxborough, a little
mile though temperature wise, but it is. It is raining.
I've had a lot of rain lately. That's good. Need
the rain, need the rain. All Right, it's Evan, it's Paul,
it's me, it's Deuce, it's Alex. It's Matt and Alex

(01:58):
in the booth and uh, we're talking Patriots. It's Thursday.
We're getting closer to the Falcons coming in. Got gotta Harry,
We got picks today. Uh, Evan will be leaving for
the locker room. Alex is here, so that's always a
good thing, you know.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah, yeah, I'll go to lock them for a little bit.
It's a little later today though.

Speaker 7 (02:18):
It's a one twenty, and I don't want to screw pick,
so I might just I'll go in get a quick.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Money doing this screwing with big trades.

Speaker 7 (02:26):
I think, I don't know, it's that's what I'm later.

Speaker 5 (02:32):
Later then I showed I was late to practice because
they said the practice started at two forty, but they
let everybody.

Speaker 8 (02:38):
In earlier than that. And then I got out there
and I was already going on.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
So how are you going to manage it?

Speaker 9 (02:43):
Later? I can touch the tail end of it.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, I gonna man I I'm gonna try for it.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
I'm just gonna go briefly. I'll go briefly through.

Speaker 7 (02:52):
Check guys, Hello Patriots, how are we doing today?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
The mic has returned, song is Mike has entered.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
That's we could we should have and like you know,
and then all of the players are like here.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
He comes, let's go get dues in here to not talk.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
To about.

Speaker 9 (03:11):
There's not really.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Brandon Bolden who controls the music.

Speaker 9 (03:17):
It was for a long time.

Speaker 7 (03:18):
It was no music, no music. Yeah, they got rid
of the music. That's why the wind streaks happening.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, that's my theory.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yes, they traded music in the locker room for individual
player introduction.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
There you go, there you go.

Speaker 7 (03:31):
So everyone just plays their own music in their locker
and it's a little bit, you know, hard to focus, but.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
The play.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
I don't like them, No, I I like that. That
was our thing I had. I talked about this earlier
this week. There some traditions, like you don't have to
keep every tradition. I get that change is good, but
there's some traditions that are worth keeping, like Christmas and
cabbage introduced as Alloween.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Yeah, you Devil's night, Cabbage night tonight, that tradition that the.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
Night before Halloween, when you go tp people's trees.

Speaker 1 (04:04):
In front of their line.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
It was always it's called mischief mischief night.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yea, we called the cabbage Night. I don't know why
I have cabbage.

Speaker 7 (04:09):
I never heard of cabbage devils or something Devil's night
like cabbage night.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Never heard of mischief, never heard of it.

Speaker 10 (04:18):
Cabbage.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah, you were just good kids.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
You were in the city. Every night was mischief night
for you correct, This was let's get crazy and d.

Speaker 9 (04:29):
He's about that.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Halloween, but not I don't remember any of it.

Speaker 7 (04:34):
The night before the night before Halloween was always a
you know, small town, we got nothing to do.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
Go back in the sixteen when you know the Dusseau's
first landed here, You're.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
Going to cabbage.

Speaker 7 (04:46):
Cabbage, that's all they had.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
That was the thing. You know, little ding dunk ditch,
little t p in the in the tree.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
All of these things familiar with on Halloween. Not necessarily you're.

Speaker 9 (05:04):
Neighbor.

Speaker 11 (05:05):
I have a neighbor that has a gorgeous a frame
house that I grew up. Climb on the roof and
then get to the other wing of the house that
had a more It was a really cool mid centry
modern house with any but we would like we would
ring the doorbell and climb up the roof. We got caught,

(05:27):
but like we thought, you're on the roof the thing.

Speaker 7 (05:29):
Could I think it's a raccoon or something. No, it's
Alex Francisco and the friends.

Speaker 9 (05:35):
Nothing but twelve year old hood stuff with my friends children.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
That's good stuff, all right.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
So okay, first practice participation report yesterday, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
Got a toe stub toe.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Is it a stub toe or we don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
He didn't see it, it's not I hope it's not seriousness.

Speaker 8 (05:55):
Yeah, Rock Party is still not playing with turf.

Speaker 2 (05:57):
Toe borrows out three months.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Yeah, so we'll see. Uh, maybe we'll see him today
in the locker room. They have been using Wednesday as
like if you got banged up.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
In the game.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
They've been giving guys days off on Wednesday, Morgan Moses.
They finally just said veteran rest. They kept on like
putting something on there, and finally we got the veteran
rest day. So we'll see if he's out there again today.
But he wasn't a participant at all in yesterday's practice,
And they've been doing a lot of maneuvering on the
practice squad the roster at running back. Tel Jennings signed

(06:30):
to the roster, Deerness Johnson signed to the practice squad,
who's had some success in the league and isn't you know,
a totally unknown player.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
So I like that.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah, you talked about it a little bit yesterday when
Mike was back from.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
Lots of rumors about trading for running back. So I
think Mike Reese wrote that it's one position. He wouldn't
be surprised if they made an acquisition at So there's
a lot going on with that running back room right now.

Speaker 7 (06:57):
And my inst re membory like was, did he play
for the break during like a COVID game where he
was like the last man standing for the Browns and
he went over.

Speaker 8 (07:05):
One hundred yards? Okay, I think so, I know it
wasn't against the Patriots.

Speaker 5 (07:08):
No, it was a Thursday night game and I don't
want to say twenty twenty twenty one somewhere around there,
and he had like one hundred.

Speaker 7 (07:15):
Maybe that had happened like the game before they played
the Patriots or something. I just remember thinking about him
and like, oh, who's this guy?

Speaker 5 (07:21):
But one of those it was like the Jonas Gray
of the night, Like he literally had like this like
Breakout Star game. He was the star of the game
on all the postgame shows and stuff like that.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
As like Nick Chubbs must have been hurt or something.

Speaker 8 (07:34):
Yeah, big waiver wire pick up the following week.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
And then he did never played again.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
So he's played ninety six games in his career, two
and fifteen rushing attempts. So this is a guy that
at least has had some experience and I think would
be a better safety net if you know, rom Andre
was you know, banged up significantly. But yeah, he's been
you know part of I mean, he hasn't had much

(08:01):
action lately, but he had one hundred carries in twenty
one with Cleveland. Yeah, so that's probably the either that
you're thinking, well, because I believe that was the Baker
Mayfield has no shoulder game.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Unlievable came here, and I.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
Think you kind of have to whether it's the practice
squad or on your main squad, you kind of have
to start every season with five running backs at your disposal. Yeah,
pretty much, you know what I mean, like maybe three
on the roster two, but you have you're gonna use five. Yeah,
it always happens. It's crazy, especially.

Speaker 7 (08:32):
The bigger ones, like you know, like I think you
can always it's a little maybe maybe this is wrong.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
My initial felt is like it's a little easier to.

Speaker 7 (08:40):
Find a third down guy who can kind of catch
a little bit and run around, but like the guy
that can take the pounding and you know, not get
tackled in the backfield. That's probably what you're asking out
running back when you get him in like that, just
don't hold the fourth down, you know.

Speaker 5 (08:51):
Yeah, but most teams carry three on the active roster,
and I always thought that was a little bit light,
but I guess now with the practice squad rules, it's
really easy to elevate Terrell Jennings for three straight weeks
and he now finally is signed to the roster, so
he's on the fifty three now.

Speaker 8 (09:07):
But it's a.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
It's like, I just don't know what they do at
running back in terms of adding one, because I know
a lot of people are talking about that with the
trade deadline, But if you're not gonna you're not going
to add somebody that's pushing Remandre in Treveon Henderson at
this point, if he was still fumbling, I feel like
Ramandre might be talking about that, But he hasn't fumbled
since Buffalo at this point, it seems like maybe they've

(09:32):
figured that out at least for the time being. So
I could see them adding, you know, a third running back,
But are you really going to go out there and make,
you know, a.

Speaker 8 (09:41):
Brice Hall or Tony Pollard.

Speaker 5 (09:43):
Or like one of these splash moves for an expensive
running back when you have these two guys on the
roster that you're working with. I don't know, unless it's
a serious injury for Remandre.

Speaker 7 (09:54):
Have you guys ever seen a stat of I guess,
like man games lost by position, Like like what is
the most injured NFL position?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Like what is there?

Speaker 7 (10:02):
You know, I've never seen anything like that, But I'd
be curious what because I would think running back would
probably be close to the top of it.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
It might be, but i'd be like defensive backs too,
but there's more of them, you know what I mean.

Speaker 11 (10:13):
Defensive lines, Yeah, any of the trench positions, Like just
by nature.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (10:20):
They are the one of the least injured teams in
the NFL, now that I think if we can say
that without any like stats, so that's pretty we can
tell they are, you know, because they do keep track
of like games lost by players on the roster due
to injury, and the Patriots are near the bottom of the.

Speaker 3 (10:40):
Lending people and people get defensive. It's a compliment. Actually
your team's in good shape, maybe because they conditioned better.
Who knows. Take it as a compliment, you know, I
just think those don't get defensive.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Those things are kind of cyclical.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
And they You know, I think Buffalo is one of
the healthiest teams last year. This year it hasn't been
that way. They've guys, you know, out of the line.
I think it just kind of runs that way.

Speaker 3 (11:03):
I remember one year like they were like four to
five centers deep. Oh ye, Brady was here.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:09):
And just my good memory about Dearness Johnson in twenty
one at against Denver.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
And here's what threw everything off, Fred.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
The game was actually in Cleveland, and this is why
that Denver actually.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Had to play a road game. It's probably the last
time they.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Had to do it.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
And it was international twenty two for one he had
in that game in his first career start. Three weeks later,
in his second career start here in Foxville, he had
nineteen for ninety nine. Okay in that in that forty
five to seven Patriots blow out wins. So they probably
gave him some sure some cheap yards.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yah yeah yeah right, Well we just.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I mean, did you know that when Denver's forced to
play a road game they lose, they actually raised their
cap number a little bit. It's it's crazy what they
do for the Broncos.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Well, Fred, we probably can mention too.

Speaker 7 (11:58):
Now it's official that Marcus Jones has been announced as
the a f C Defensive Player of the Month for
the month the month, not the week the month.

Speaker 8 (12:07):
I have some gripes to pick with this list. Yeah,
go ahead, Marcus.

Speaker 7 (12:11):
No, No, Well it was funny because even the first
time I was like, hey, he's getting to and it
was like defensive plan.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah, like Miles Garrett, just have five.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
S in the game. But I don't want to.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
I don't want to.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
How do they now? How is this award determined? It
is this players and coaches?

Speaker 8 (12:27):
There's a fan.

Speaker 5 (12:28):
I believe it's just the league, like the league just
like as like probably like a committee of some sort.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
And I believe you have to submit nominees, right.

Speaker 8 (12:36):
Yeah, I don't think that this is like an A
P or so.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Who's on this committee? Who's making this determined?

Speaker 8 (12:42):
I don't call Park Avenue and ask them. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
I recognized you have so many.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
Just how does someone like Marcus Jones get recognized because
you need to be a ball nowhere.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
But you get nominated. A team has to nominate.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Okay, but then somebody has to vote on it. Do
the research.

Speaker 11 (13:02):
I wonder if with the extension. He was kind of
top of mind because the news broke this week. I
don't know when they come up.

Speaker 9 (13:08):
With the decision, but that's kind of what me and
Evan were discussing.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
But like I said, like a slot corner, like you
have to do your research to say, oh, this guy
had a good month.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
Yeaheah, Well, I mean he did.

Speaker 7 (13:18):
I mean statistically, I mean he had you know, he
had a sack, he had two interceptions, he had a
bunch of passes defense.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
But you know, it's still huge month for him.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
I mean, he's won the Special Teams Player of the
Month at the start of it for his huge performance
against the Panthers and then signs a contract extension and
now this happens. So just I mean, and also he's
a captain this year. I mean, it's just, it's all
everything's coming out with Marcus Jones over the.

Speaker 3 (13:41):
Last month coming together.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
Usually you have to have like a pick six or
like a record breaking performance. This one I was a
little bit surprised by. But you look at the stats.

Speaker 3 (13:52):
And two, Miles had a pretty good month, right.

Speaker 5 (13:54):
Miles Garrett, Yeah, eight passes defense, you know they they
he did, you know, add up some stats there, but
Jonathan Taylor won Offensive Player of the Month for October.

Speaker 8 (14:06):
Please, yeah, like what, like, how much better does Drake
May have to play?

Speaker 2 (14:10):
Record?

Speaker 8 (14:11):
Like this is unbelievable, Like, oh, you gave it to
a running back?

Speaker 12 (14:15):
Cool?

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Like like how much better of a four game stretch
could you possibly have in the month? And Drake four
games stretch better than Drake May's. We don't know his stas.
I don't know what more you want the guy to do.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
I know he had one game where he had over
two hundred yards from scrimmage, right.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
He's right?

Speaker 7 (14:35):
Now?

Speaker 9 (14:35):
Maybe they just didn't want to Patriots on it.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Yeah, maybe if we didn't.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Like listen, I think they took the wrong that's exactly
like no offense who everybody knows I have a crush on, Like,
I just I.

Speaker 8 (14:49):
Just don't know, Hobo.

Speaker 3 (14:50):
I want to jump on the Drake May bandwagon too,
But I don't know Jonathan Taylor's stats.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
I mean, I'll tell you, I'll tell him to you.
So he had four games.

Speaker 7 (14:59):
First one was seventeen carries for sixty six yards and
three touchdowns against the Raiders.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Three one yard touchdown, twenty one carries for.

Speaker 7 (15:06):
One hundred and twenty three yards for a touchdown against
the Cardinals. Against the Chargers, sixteen carries, ninety four yards,
three touchdowns, and then against Tennessee he had two more
touchdowns with one hundred and fifty three yards.

Speaker 1 (15:18):
So he did have nine.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
Touchdowns three touchdowns because that included scen three touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
So yeah, I was pretty sure he had three touchdowns
and three out of four of those games. Yeah, because
I think I saw that on the red zone last week.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Cool, so we had a pretty good week.

Speaker 7 (15:33):
Yeah, he did have a receiving touchdown as well. Yeah,
ten touch touchdowns in the month.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Yeah, that's pretty goodous.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
Look seventy six percent of his passes here, we go
eight touchdowns to one pick, one hundred and twenty nine
point eight passer rating in the month of October. Beat
Buffalo in prime time in Buffalo with the game winning drive,
and you gave it to a running back.

Speaker 11 (15:57):
Please disc really, it's okay, keeping that's right, keep it mumbles.

Speaker 8 (16:04):
One hundred and fifty two rushing yards. You probably had
as many rushing yards as Jonathan Taylor as well.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
I know, because maybe maybe as many as he had
in the because the second half of Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Because you know, no love.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Lighted Effort is one of my favorite only one of
my favorites commit to being the only.

Speaker 9 (16:21):
One the many personas. That's the best thing.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
I listen. I don't care about the individual awards. Just
gets back to the being introduced. I realized for the
team playoffs.

Speaker 5 (16:36):
He was four and o in the month of October
as well, in case they both wanted to know, Jonathan
Taylor was on a team that was four and O.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Are you upset that the Colts are number one in
most people's power rankings?

Speaker 8 (16:48):
No, I'm not upset about that.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Reason why is because of him?

Speaker 8 (16:52):
Oh come on, no, it's not.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
That's ridiculous.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
So it's Daniel Jones.

Speaker 8 (16:57):
I mean, we don't have to deal a running back thing.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
I would make that argument.

Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yes, Jonathan Taylor has been on the Colts, They've stunk,
they got a quarterback who's playing really well, and all
of a sudden, Jonathan Taylor is an MVP candidate. So
I would actually make the argument that Daniel Jones has
made a big difference. Okay, all right, I'm not telling
you he's more valuable than Taylor. It's probably not that way,
but okay, Jonathan Taylor has been on the Colts the
last couple of years. They've been able to win many games.

(17:23):
There have been a five hundred team at best. Yeah, okay,
all right, that's a good seven and one.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
It's a good argument. That's what that you know, that's
a check box check mark in Drake May's column.

Speaker 4 (17:35):
Now you could say that Jones is benefiting from Taylor.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
You're probably right.

Speaker 8 (17:40):
But he's a really good player, Johns.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
He's excellent. He's very good.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
That powers game in twenty one.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
I'm not upset about it like heavan is, but but
I agree with me. I think it's harder to do
what Drake May did in October than it is.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
I just don't know how you could play any better
for a month of football than Drake May has played
at the most difficult position in the sport.

Speaker 8 (17:59):
Like it'd be hard to do.

Speaker 3 (18:00):
I mean, well, you know they all hate us, right,
there's a there's an anti Patriots bias.

Speaker 5 (18:07):
You can't say that, Marcus, because they want.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
It's not happy with me taking the first hour.

Speaker 1 (18:15):
Off today we can get some dv O stuff.

Speaker 8 (18:18):
And I'm sorry, arguef again.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Now there's no argument, all right? Eight five five pasts
five hundred is the hotline podcasts at Patriots dot com
is the email address. We've got a hurry because we've
got picks. So well, well let's get Let's see what
people have to say, because is the hay in the
barn for the Falcons? Is there anything left to say

(18:44):
about the game in particular?

Speaker 1 (18:45):
You're just you're waiting to see.

Speaker 7 (18:46):
I mean, I think we should point out their injury
report yesterday was the number of limited guys including you know,
Pennix and Kyle Pitts and Drake London.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Who else there was another one too, yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:00):
Jalen Walker, bo Billy Bowman, Jesse Bates, like like they
have like eight starters that are limited yesterday.

Speaker 8 (19:08):
But you know, limited is better than.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Many of those guys are on the way back.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Like Walkers missed the last couple of games, Bowman missed
the last game, Baits got knocked out of the last game.
Pennix missed the last game, London missed the last game.
So a lot of those guys are on the way back.

Speaker 7 (19:23):
Yeah, yeah, so that I mean, I think that's a
lot more intriguing matchup to me watching Pennix and London
rather than Kirk Cousins and Darnell Mooney's now the number one.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
And you know, the test this.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
Week is for the Patriots defense. If all these guys
are back as opposed to for the Patriots offense, well
the past past, I think this is good.

Speaker 4 (19:44):
The Falcons defense is much better than the Falcons offense.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
Yeah much, well it is, but should it be? I mean,
with all that.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Talent Evan blameson on Zach Robinson, yeah.

Speaker 8 (19:58):
When he when they have.

Speaker 5 (20:01):
When you have great talent and you waste it, that
really it really bothers me, Like why they're just looking
at their offense on paper that should be like a
top half of the league offense. You have a great
running back, you have two good receivers, you have a
good tight end. I don't I don't see any reason
why they should be twenty eighth in scoring.

Speaker 8 (20:21):
It's bothered me all week.

Speaker 3 (20:22):
I'm like running enough.

Speaker 8 (20:24):
I don't really understand what it is.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
It really has waste on talent, talent.

Speaker 8 (20:33):
I was watching their tragedy in the world was talent.

Speaker 11 (20:38):
Evan has a crush on a girl, but like he's
seeing her being treated poorly.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
It's just like so much money to my second third level,
the middle of the field, there's just nobody in there,
Like it's just wide open and like they don't run
any receivers.

Speaker 8 (20:53):
Love you, I did hear that? Thank you gave thank you? Yeah,
it just does.

Speaker 5 (20:59):
Really, it really grinds my gears when you waste talent
in this league. It's not fair to the players, like that.
Those guys are better than this, You're.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Better than this, be better.

Speaker 7 (21:09):
Well, I like that we shot our little preview, but
you know, the defense doesn't allow a lot of big
plays and they haven't given up, as we said yesterday,
haven't two hundred yard passer yet. So I mean they
you know, they've been they've been competitive, and I just
again like I think the lack of star power hurts
them a little bit.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
And it's easier to hype up a team when you
say that.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
Again, they're the Falcons. Defense is not given up a
two hundred yard passing game yet.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
Yeah, not allowed a two hundred yard passers.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
That's huge in this league.

Speaker 8 (21:36):
Yeah, yeah, they've been great.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
Now, the Patriots haven't given up one hundred yard Russia
fifty an individual fifty yard rusher, same same same, So
two guys.

Speaker 8 (21:46):
Have nine yards, but yeah, it doesn't matter.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
Yeah, yeah, but yeah, no, the that is a strength
on strength in terms of the Patriots passing offense is
one of the most explosive passing offense in football. Falcons
passing defense is one of the best at limiting explosive plays.
So one of these teams is going to be playing well,
you know, left handed, Like well, you know, either the
Patriots are not going to get those big plays down

(22:11):
the field that they've gotten, you know, from Drake May
and Kyshawn Boody and their offense, or it's going to
go the other way and the Falcons are going to
have to figure out, you know, what do we do
differently here? So that will be one of the things
that ultimately, I think decides how competitive this game is.
On top of you know, what Falcons team shows up
in which quarterback shows the biggest.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
One for me, Patriots could be in a lot of
trouble if they have the team that has to play
left handed.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
Land is fine with that they have a left handed.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Quarterback, but we have a left handed analysis.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I don't I don't want I don't want Drake to
have to play left handed. Although I'm not saying here.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
It's the left handed pass.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
He's he's done it.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Yeah, it in college.

Speaker 5 (22:53):
I don't think he's completed. Has he completed a left
handed passing in the pros?

Speaker 4 (22:56):
I don't know if he's completed. I think he's had
a couple of throwaways.

Speaker 8 (22:59):
Yeah, he completed.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
He waited.

Speaker 5 (23:01):
He threw a touchdown in college with his left hand
against I want to ges say against Pitt. Yeah, he
is rolling to his left and like he's getting dragged
down by like two guys and he just switched hands
and through.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
You allow if you were quarterback and you as a robbler,
but allowed to like drop kick it. It doesn't hit
the ground, but you kick it and it gets caught
as a forward pass't does it have to come from your.

Speaker 12 (23:22):
Hand you kick it?

Speaker 8 (23:25):
Yeah, I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
Don't believe that.

Speaker 8 (23:28):
Is a change of possession.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
I would think if you kick it, it's a punch.

Speaker 3 (23:32):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (23:34):
You don't have to punch on down you can I know.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I think that would be a punt.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Okay. So a forward pass has to come from the hand.
You can't. I'm going to go on a limb without knowing.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
You could shovel full disclosures from the hend do not know.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
The black and white rule in the book. I'm going
to say that that would be yes.

Speaker 8 (23:55):
I don't think it is. That's like rugby where you
kick it down on the deck.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
Actly heel by the look the glean in Fred's eyes like.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
He just he just found a loophole.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
And it's like Marty Shottenham, there's a gleam man, there's
a gleam.

Speaker 8 (24:10):
There's a couple of Brady third down punts out there.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Up and out seven playoffs twenty eleven. I don't think
they ever liked it too. I think there was a
scrum afterwards.

Speaker 3 (24:21):
So let's just say crazy. The quarterback literally dropped the
ball on accident and it hit his foot before it
hit the ground and went forward and it was caught.
Would that be a fumble and you can't advance them?
That would advanced the fun That would be a fumble, right, Okay,
that would be like you just dropped the ball, but
it didn't hit the ground but his foot.

Speaker 8 (24:42):
Yeah, I think it's a fumble.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Okay, I think they never hit the his own foot.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
So now you're saying he runs around and by accident
he drops the ball and as he's running and it
kicks it before it hits the ground.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Would that be considered a punt?

Speaker 3 (24:56):
No? Would that be Could you recover that forward? I don't
think you could.

Speaker 8 (25:01):
I might go back to the spot that he fumbled.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Probably, Yeah, I have to take this one to break tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (25:06):
That's a great one. Now that one is box.

Speaker 7 (25:09):
Thing some press conference tomorrow with Rabes. I think Fred
needs to make an appearance.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
And stretch Josh press conferences they're okay.

Speaker 4 (25:19):
The best part is the very beginning. He just tells
you everything that you know. Here's no injury.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yeah, it's not like Bill.

Speaker 2 (25:25):
It's informative.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
People ask him about stuff and he just goes on and.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Yeah, well you said, hey in the barn.

Speaker 7 (25:30):
It doesn't feel as much Hay in the barn as
Bill felt like there was a noticeable shift in mood
on Friday.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
And I know Rapel is.

Speaker 7 (25:36):
Pretty I don't know, just kind of low key in
these press conversations.

Speaker 4 (25:39):
I don't really notice much of a difference between his
Friday Bill. There was clear Mike's right. You could clearly
tell a difference on Bill on Friday.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
Oh yeah, he's ready.

Speaker 7 (25:47):
You asked him about a special team's play for nineteen
seventy four and he's.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Bob Time twenty five minutes.

Speaker 8 (25:52):
I remember, I think it was.

Speaker 5 (25:57):
I think it was Ben Voll asked him about it's
the history of the long snapper.

Speaker 8 (26:04):
Snapper and it's an essay, it's literally and.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Did Volan actually write about it or did he just
want to have a com.

Speaker 11 (26:13):
They transcribed it just to tweet it out and say,
look how many.

Speaker 8 (26:20):
I think it was something to do with.

Speaker 5 (26:24):
Volan was asking why they take up a roster spot
on a long snapper instead of training a player to
long snap so that you don't have to.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
It was actually a legitimate like when did that change?

Speaker 4 (26:36):
It used to be a player on your team would
be the long snapper, and then it got really specialized.

Speaker 2 (26:43):
And it went on that Bill might still be answering
that question.

Speaker 3 (26:46):
It went on forever, So sons can walk on one team.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
That's right, Yes, yes, that's why.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
All right, let's get to the phones. That doesn't mean
I don't know Francisco is a North Carolina. What's up Francisco?

Speaker 13 (27:02):
Yeah, okay, what's going on?

Speaker 10 (27:04):
Guys and girls?

Speaker 13 (27:07):
So so it's funny, is what you're talking about is
dropping a ball?

Speaker 14 (27:10):
Kick it with your foot back.

Speaker 13 (27:12):
Would me and my cousin were in elementary school, we
would like intensionally trying to like throw it towards the
ground so way because we used to play soccer too,
so we could pop it up in our foot or
like with our foot into our arms. And I mean
that still kinds completely catch, wouldn't it.

Speaker 11 (27:28):
I don't know that we're trying to figure out today.

Speaker 3 (27:31):
Yeah, I mean backyard rules, maybe it is, but I
don't know. In the NFL, oh yeah, because.

Speaker 13 (27:38):
I mean it's the same as like if it bounced
off a body part in a corner or something caught
it and be a pig. But the main reason why
I called is like I didn't get the call in
last Thursday because you wasn't working by myself. But I like,
believe me or not, but I hadn't made the call
that Travon Henderson was gonna play Batters and finish on
Jenkins last week.

Speaker 3 (28:01):
So my call this week do you have any money
on that or did you just make the call?

Speaker 13 (28:06):
I did put a little bit on the under on
the Quinche and then over on Tradio.

Speaker 15 (28:10):
Good for you, Good for you, but h but.

Speaker 13 (28:14):
This week I've got John Parker Romo missing an extra.

Speaker 10 (28:17):
Point making a field goal.

Speaker 13 (28:20):
But I've got Andy Bourglas making two field goals and
going perfect for the day on extra points. Twenty seven fifteen, you.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Guys, twenty seven to fifteen? Okay, thanks Francisco. How did
they get to fifteen? Five?

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Field goal?

Speaker 8 (28:33):
He missed an extra point though you can figure it.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
Oh yeah, six six?

Speaker 3 (28:37):
All you need is nine more, three field goals. Six
we go for okay, okay, six and then three field goals. Yeah,
we did.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
That's matthing.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
The only the only commentation you can't get in football.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
Is one you actually can. But I'm not going to
get in your.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Turn a two point conversion, it's one point, isn't it?

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Is that right?

Speaker 2 (28:59):
It was a there's a safety that's worth one point.
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (29:03):
I don't I thought if there's something like defense.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
A Friday Conversation Bill would tell you.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
I think if you return a two point conversion, if
you intercept it and return it, it's one point.

Speaker 4 (29:16):
I want to say it's I think that's two. I
think it's if somehow on an extra point you go
for two, and somehow you end up the ball ends
up in your own end zone and you get tackled.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
It's a one point safety.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Okay, so the kick the field goal kicking team.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
No, No, let's say you go for two. Yeah, and somehow
the ball ends up in your own end zone, all
the way back to ninety eight yards behind where you
started to play, and you have possession of it something.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Like that, and you get tackled back.

Speaker 2 (29:50):
It's something like that.

Speaker 8 (29:51):
Yeah, one point Safety's is that what it is? Yes,
there's a one.

Speaker 3 (29:55):
Point See, I would trap has it ever had?

Speaker 8 (29:59):
I don't know what's going on.

Speaker 1 (30:01):
A ticking an extra point?

Speaker 7 (30:03):
You block it, catch it to run it. That's too
Still two points they were tempting at one point.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
Interesting that happened. It happened in a game this year.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
Never occurred in the NFL game, It's never occurred two points.

Speaker 11 (30:16):
It happened only once in an C double A Division
one football game.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
And I would love to know how that developed. How
does it go ninety eight yards backwards and you get
tackled back there?

Speaker 7 (30:27):
Maybe like you pick off the pass, you run it
to like the five yard line, and then you kind
of fumble it, and then.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
They picked it off. You tackled them at the one.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
They fumbled and into the end zone and you recovered
covered it and they tackled. That could be a one
point okay.

Speaker 8 (30:42):
Or maybe like your later or something, it goes back.

Speaker 3 (30:46):
And wow, that would have the press box buzzing that happened.

Speaker 8 (30:50):
Could you imagine?

Speaker 4 (30:51):
I mean, you know, three yard off tackle run for
Stevenson has our presence.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
Have a lot.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
We have a loud press box. We're not the only
loud press We have a loud one.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
It's the only one I've ever heard.

Speaker 8 (31:06):
There's some louder ones.

Speaker 2 (31:07):
That's why I said, we're not the only loud press box.

Speaker 1 (31:10):
Like loud and like people commenting on the game or.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
A lot of commentary going on in our sharing like
other I wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (31:18):
Necessarily make fun of them for that.

Speaker 5 (31:19):
Other teams that are maybe a little bit smaller market teams,
I feel like they're beat writers are really fans, like
you know, like Buffalo Green Bay, Like those people that
like grew up in Green Bay. Like you can't ask
that type of person to not be a Packers fan.

(31:40):
Like if you grew up in Green Bay, you're you're
it's born into you. And those people get a little loud.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
BB in New Hampshire. God, I love Pu. Now we're
discussing potential panta Ruski new wish to Peu. Is this
always how winning seasons go?

Speaker 1 (31:57):
I don't remember. I've only been here for a couple
of them, so I don't know.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Mike wouldn't be able to answer that question.

Speaker 9 (32:04):
That's your second market.

Speaker 1 (32:06):
Like I never I never eve been to a super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (32:09):
The most interesting Patriots fan in the world, writes in media,
we have the best dep thrower in the league. Fred.
Can Drake do a drop kick? It's the last thing
they'd expect? Is it a no side kick? If it's
fourth down?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
I'm trying to think outside.

Speaker 2 (32:24):
The box here.

Speaker 4 (32:25):
Yeah, I love that. If it goes yeah, you know
what I mean, they get like a nonsense five minutes here,
Paul and Fred nonsense, they get it.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
I love that.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
Sean in somewhere one Vancouver a couple of musings, he said,
count me in as one who can care less. I
think he means couldn't care less about m VP and
playoff seatings at Halloween. It's been a nice season, and
I understand that's what the media guys do with these days, uh,

(32:57):
to enjoy the season. It goes by quick and appreciate
it too. Hindsight, I'm assuming you are glad the Patriots
went for Stefan Diggs compared to Chris Godwin, who's been
hurt all year. Well there's no telling you had been
hurt here. But yes, happy that they got Stefan.

Speaker 4 (33:11):
I'm happy they got Dig's period because I think he's
had a really big impact on the team off the field.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
Yeah, and three as much as anything else.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Pat should win this weekend. But I remember the dirty
Birds came here in ninety eight and whooped us. Pat
should win twenty seven eighteen. All right, So something that
happened forty years ago we got to worry about.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Yeah, that was That was one of the very few
games this guy.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
Now he's gonna okay, go ahead, go ahead, proceed, No proceed, No, No.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
I was talking about the quarterback drop the ball and
kicked it in ADVERTI go ahead.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Talk about the game that Drew Bloodsoe.

Speaker 4 (33:48):
Had though it was not a good Can we say this.
I didn't see him live, I didn't see him. I
didn't get the text. I didn't still disappointed at that. No,
but you're trying to sneak out.

Speaker 7 (34:01):
Let's actually say the discussion about this game. It might
be coming up later in the in the show on
a certain segment that that that I have planned.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
So it's all right, I just this.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
This person keeps emailing uh, and he tells me if
I have any integrity, I'll read the email. It's there.
I guess, is you pronounce his name is sak? I
guess I'm not even going to read your email because,
first of all, it's not funny. I know you're trying
to be funny. It's not funny. You didn't So I'm
not going to read your email, right, And if you
want to say I don't have integrity, fine, I don't

(34:34):
have integrity. It's not funny. I don't want funny. I
read it. I don't care if you make fun of us.

Speaker 2 (34:39):
Will you forward that to us and we'll be the
judge of, Yeah, you did.

Speaker 9 (34:41):
An email of the week candidate.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
No, it's not even because I want to know what
it is.

Speaker 9 (34:46):
The worst email of the week candidate. I don't do
the worst email of the week.

Speaker 2 (34:52):
Have a lot of those would be kidding Mike.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
I will just say that that is one of the
very few, maybe the only game that I ever left
really early, and I left very early.

Speaker 7 (35:06):
See those stories that'll be There'll be plenty of discussion
right after the break of this game.

Speaker 1 (35:09):
I think they got Blistard. We're having fun.

Speaker 3 (35:15):
Yeah, let's see. All right, let's get back to the
phones because people want to talk. Let them because we
have to hurry.

Speaker 16 (35:24):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (35:25):
Oh, it's Christian in La. What's up Christian?

Speaker 17 (35:29):
Hey? First of oh, it's Christian. Sound a little less excited.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Fred, I can't be blessed excited? Go ahead, go for it,
all right?

Speaker 17 (35:38):
So, first of all, I got to clasp back at
Boston Cream. I will not take criticism from anybody who
purposely calls themselves cream.

Speaker 3 (35:48):
Don't moving on, Wow shirt Boston crem The gloves are off,
all right, go ahead, keep going.

Speaker 17 (35:55):
I got my PU T shirt yesterday, guys, not one,
but two, So thank you very much. I said to

tea shirts with my girlfriends. Dude from Beverly math that
two three?

Speaker 3 (36:07):
Who got that? Who got that email? Did you get it? Alex?

Speaker 9 (36:10):
I did not get it.

Speaker 3 (36:11):
Where did you send it?

Speaker 18 (36:12):
To?

Speaker 3 (36:12):
Pe?

Speaker 9 (36:12):
You to the podcast?

Speaker 7 (36:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (36:14):
Podcast at Patriots.

Speaker 3 (36:15):
Because I want to see what your girlfriend looks like.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Oh, gez.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
Not what you think, not what I think.

Speaker 9 (36:22):
Christian.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
No, Actually, I'm gonna I'm gonna compliment you. I figured
you might have a you might be playing over the
rim above the rim here.

Speaker 17 (36:32):
Okay, what are you guys giving out as Halloween candy?
And if you're not giving out the big stuff, why not?
And then lastly, if you had to choose between good
and plenty masmellow flavored marshmallow, Halloween theme marshmallow, pete a
sandy corn, do you choose?

Speaker 3 (36:52):
That's it's a good one because they all suck.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
That's very good. Critical of you, but that's a very
good mix of horrible candy.

Speaker 9 (37:00):
Yeah, Boston Cream ready to rock.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
I might go. I might go peeps on that one.

Speaker 8 (37:06):
Peep like things.

Speaker 7 (37:07):
The marshmallow things I don't have plenty of like drop
Easter things are definitely an Easter thing.

Speaker 9 (37:14):
It's more of an Easter thing.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
But good and.

Speaker 3 (37:16):
Plenty that'll take your.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Carve you up.

Speaker 8 (37:20):
But I agree that's candy corn.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
I one.

Speaker 1 (37:23):
I would go with the people.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Back, but I don't like any of them.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Yeah, bracts, yeah, praccess good.

Speaker 3 (37:29):
But what are you giving out? Was this other question?

Speaker 5 (37:32):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Not giving anything out? I don't believe in Halloween, So.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
I'm just kidding. You want to learn cabbage?

Speaker 1 (37:41):
We only sell right, No, we don't.

Speaker 7 (37:46):
We live on a kind of busy streets, so we've
never gotten any street Yeah, we haven't gotten any trigger treats.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
And I'm lucky to sack.

Speaker 2 (37:53):
I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
We turned the lights out.

Speaker 9 (37:54):
Really, we're not.

Speaker 4 (37:59):
The Holy Training of Sinkers. Peanut butter cuffs, kit cats,
kit cats, twigs and I don't even want to.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
I'm like, I'm not getting up.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
What are you giving out?

Speaker 11 (38:09):
You know the unreal candy that Brady used to push.
It's really good, but it's much less sugar. They have
the variety packs at Costco. You guys are like.

Speaker 9 (38:22):
Knocking it, but bring it for you guys and make
you try it. It's pretty damn good.

Speaker 8 (38:26):
Exact chocolate.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
Are you going to be any eggs? Do you get thrown?

Speaker 13 (38:33):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Man?

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Are you going to be giving lessons though? When you
hand it out?

Speaker 6 (38:35):
Now?

Speaker 1 (38:35):
Kids, now, this is low sugars, so make sure you
know this is going.

Speaker 18 (38:38):
To be for you.

Speaker 4 (38:39):
Old lady, make us healthy.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Don't go to that.

Speaker 9 (38:42):
House, walk up for my apartment. So I'm just gonna
leave the dish outside.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
I don't want to be going up. It'll be completely
full at the end of the night.

Speaker 9 (38:51):
No, it'll be one person the first person, don't think
on my ring camera.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
Oh yeah, there was a year that was both us
had to work and we relate getting home, so we
put it out.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Yeah, it was like the first two people that came,
like completely.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
That's not a shame to a person.

Speaker 8 (39:09):
It's always like an adult to to each Well, did.

Speaker 3 (39:12):
You see the new sign in the press box on
game day? I did only three steaks?

Speaker 9 (39:17):
Yes, I saw that. I didn't but I didn't get
any stake tips this week. It was all gone.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
Somebody is not adhering to the rule.

Speaker 8 (39:24):
Shocker that some of these guys.

Speaker 3 (39:27):
This is their Cleveland guys.

Speaker 9 (39:29):
I blame it on the Cleveland guys because this has
never happened.

Speaker 8 (39:32):
I've seen some shady stuff that comes to that.

Speaker 5 (39:35):
I think it's odd when you get the pizza on
Wednesdays and like you see guys with like six slices.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
And I'm like I've seen that.

Speaker 5 (39:41):
I'm like, come on, dude, Like it's like to I
say two, like you it's free pizza, Like four is.

Speaker 3 (39:49):
Half a pizza. So like if you're doing six, that's
like almost the whole piece, right.

Speaker 5 (39:54):
It's if like there's pizza left over at the end
and you want to take the pizza like sure, like maybe,
but I've seen some interesting I have to full.

Speaker 4 (40:05):
Disclosure, I did not see that sign, and I had
more than three steak tips.

Speaker 9 (40:09):
Thank you, because I have done so.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
I apologize a thousand times.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
Don't you mix the chickens. I don't have to take a.

Speaker 4 (40:16):
Bread takes can bring back some good memories for you.
I shan'n't be having any steak tips for the remainder
of the season.

Speaker 3 (40:21):
Because sign, but it'll have four pieces of chicken. Oh no,
there's no good chickens and Evans.

Speaker 2 (40:39):
Way, what's ah, it's not good?

Speaker 3 (40:41):
You had the chicken?

Speaker 2 (40:42):
Of course I have. How could you're not.

Speaker 9 (40:45):
Mean good or sometimes a little you guys?

Speaker 3 (40:50):
You know I want them to bring back your nose
that free food. You're no good chicken. I would never
do that though free food. I mean I ever complain
about free food.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
No, we had some new chicken fingers to yesterday. Fred.
I think the organization you didn't. You didn't care for them.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Oh, I liked him.

Speaker 1 (41:08):
I liked them.

Speaker 3 (41:08):
I thought they were.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
Oh well, they loved them.

Speaker 1 (41:13):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (41:14):
I didn't try them.

Speaker 7 (41:15):
They also came with a wonderful dipping sauce that I
thoroughly enjoyed.

Speaker 9 (41:21):
Down upon us for that.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
But when they said that there was chicken tenders, I
don't think I've ever seen deuce move so fast that.

Speaker 11 (41:28):
Almost sprint twice this week, and one it was when
our beloved Casey came in and said, hey, guys, we
have a chart on the wall. You have to go
write your least favorite Halloween candy?

Speaker 9 (41:40):
Do sprinted? Write it down? And then again for the ten.

Speaker 7 (41:47):
I stand on mount I hate peanut Eminem's and I
and everyone loves I don't don'ts are my favorite.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
I just turned around to look at uh No Socks,
who was talking to us about the Sundays going, And
by the time I turned around was already out the door.

Speaker 8 (42:05):
And he's the furthest from the.

Speaker 1 (42:07):
You know s anyone like some tends? They're available now? Like, yeah,
they were good.

Speaker 3 (42:14):
All right? Back to the Boston Creams on the line,
What what say you? Boston responds, guys, I will not
be dissed by someone who sends in a car selfie
to the listener photo affair show, right, so duel at dawn.

Speaker 9 (42:32):
Remembers what the photo looks like.

Speaker 10 (42:36):
Also, a guy who claims have so much money but
can't get a solar panel fixed in Turkey. I'll believe
it when.

Speaker 3 (42:40):
I see it. Okay, wow.

Speaker 10 (42:43):
But also it's just that one last thing, just an
update on our listener Pickham fam fool. Christen Virginia is
leading with an eighty eight and thirty three record.

Speaker 3 (42:54):
Eighty eighty eight and thirty three. That's pretty that's pretty good.
You'd be leading this one too, sure, right, that's good.
So get them a T shirt.

Speaker 19 (43:04):
Okay, that's gotta win it first, gotta win it first.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
I like it. I love I love the listener and
listening to crime.

Speaker 9 (43:13):
What is the solar panel? Does that mean hairline or
like an actual I don't know.

Speaker 7 (43:18):
I don't know the Turkey things the hair transplants, right, Yeah, you.

Speaker 3 (43:24):
Go to Turkey for hair trans advanced in it.

Speaker 11 (43:28):
Really, you get on a flight tour from Turkey, You're
going to see a lot of men with like is that?

Speaker 9 (43:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (43:34):
There's a lot of social media, so like, what what
can you tell me?

Speaker 3 (43:37):
Like what they're doing?

Speaker 7 (43:38):
That?

Speaker 3 (43:40):
Is it good?

Speaker 1 (43:41):
I mean, it's a million.

Speaker 9 (43:46):
Hair line care over that.

Speaker 3 (43:48):
I don't know Persia because of the rugs, but you know.

Speaker 1 (43:53):
Turkey, who knows.

Speaker 11 (43:55):
It's kind of ironic because I feel like women from
Turkey have incredible heads of hair. So what's going on
with the men? Maybe the Turkish has beautiful thick.

Speaker 7 (44:07):
It looks like a lot of little red dots, like
a lot of little red dots in your head.

Speaker 9 (44:11):
Oh my god, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (44:12):
You have to wear a cat for.

Speaker 11 (44:15):
If you get like a micro needling facial where they likes.

Speaker 9 (44:20):
I don't know exactly what's going on.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
I don't know that that package.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
It only costs three grand freend.

Speaker 3 (44:26):
Yeah, but you have to get there, right, You got
to get there. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (44:29):
Men are like doing group trips out there now too.
They're like setting up golf outings.

Speaker 9 (44:34):
They get hair together. You got to get on tiktoks.
You've got to get on tikball.

Speaker 8 (44:38):
Because of Jayalen Brown, I think that why he got hairs.

Speaker 5 (44:42):
No, his hairline is receding and he he had an
incident and they gave last week where he had painted
his head and.

Speaker 8 (44:53):
Called him out for it.

Speaker 5 (44:54):
Recently, he went like to duck into contact and it
rubbed off on the opponent's jersey jersey. Yeah, and so
he actually like leaned into it. It was kind of funny. Yeah,
he shaved his head.

Speaker 15 (45:07):
On Turkey for hair transplants because in America it's ten
to thirty thousand dollars.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
Oh so it's just the price. It's a price thing. Okay,
it's not a technique or you know so much.

Speaker 5 (45:20):
Yeah, So he he did like something on a live stream.
He shaved his head, probably for charity or something like that,
and kind of made a joke out of it. And
during it he was like calling around to like Lebron
and Kevin Durant, who are all obviously talked to Robert
bald and we're like, you know, hey, like you want
to go to Turkey or something like that, and they

(45:40):
made he made light of it.

Speaker 8 (45:42):
It was good.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
Good for him, go and think of it.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
The first half last's in North Carolina. What's up Todd
being guys.

Speaker 14 (45:49):
So I'm glad that I'm not the worst caller anymore.
It's nice that we've got.

Speaker 3 (45:52):
A lot of well he congratulations, that's debatable. We'll keep going.

Speaker 4 (45:56):
To Thank God.

Speaker 14 (45:59):
I'm worried about this being a bit of a trap game.
For some of the reasons that Evan has outlined is
that Atlanta has a heck of a lot of talent.
They just haven't managed to put it together. And I'm
kind of worried that they might put it together this weekend,
and you never know what could happen if, you know,
they take it a little bit less serious than they should.

(46:20):
You know, somebody listens to the thing, and this is
going to be the first test for our team for having,
you know, something something to look at and saying, hey,
they've got a lot of guys that.

Speaker 10 (46:30):
We just don't match up well against.

Speaker 14 (46:32):
And I'm you know, I'm concerned about our defense or offense.
I think can always seem to find a way, but
I don't know about the defense. So what do you
think what our defense needs to do to try to
keep this game in to and give our guys on
the offense a chance to win it.

Speaker 3 (46:45):
Thanks, guys, Okay, I'll tell you what.

Speaker 7 (46:47):
I don't want to see Michael Pennock throwing bombs like
Michael Pennock's throwing the ball down the field like he
did in college and making plays, you know, the Darnell
Mooney Because if if the Falcons are taking away the
Patriots big plays that could so don't.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
My first thought is do the Pages need to do
anything different because of Bjon Robinson. If the answer is no,
then I feel a little better. If the answer is yes,
then I am worried about it.

Speaker 5 (47:10):
I think in the past game, yeah, in the past game, yeah,
I think him and Kyle Pitts are you know, I'm
still waiting for a week where they really play Manton
Man and like shadow receivers like Gonzo, you got Drake London,
Marcus Jones, You've got Mooney Davis. Maybe takes Kyle Pitts
this week, and like they they don't really do that.

(47:32):
They they tend to play sides and you know that
sort of thing. So, but Bijon and Kyle Pitts, you know,
in the passing game, that's two areas the Patriots have
had trouble with running backs and tight ends. You know,
they haven't had as much trouble with receivers, but running
backs and tight ends. They're fifth in the league and
yards allowed per game at both of those positions right

(47:53):
now in terms of the most yards allowed per game,
So that would be what worries me in this game
is they haven't really covered ends going all the way
back to the summer. Dus and I have been talking
about this since like the joint practice in Minnesota, I.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
Mean watching, yeah, zach Ertz the first day of practice.

Speaker 5 (48:09):
We've been talking about this since August. And Kyle Pitts
is a good tight end. Yeah, he's definitely capable of
having one of those types of games.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
And they've had trouble with them. Danny is in Daytona. Hey, Danny, Hey,
you hop to go with Fred?

Speaker 11 (48:23):
You'all hear me?

Speaker 2 (48:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 20 (48:25):
I finally caught him. Man, I'm been trying to catch
Van for a while.

Speaker 10 (48:28):
Uh.

Speaker 20 (48:29):
Well, you two fall love. So I just wanted to
get your guys' take on just like the last callers
said about uh, about the Falcons possibly maybe taking advantage
and of a situation, because if you've seen this season,
they've they've been wildly inconsistent. Like they've had games where
they've got blown out by the Panthers, and then they

(48:50):
have games where they they're they're beaten. You know, they're
competing against good teams. When they play bad teams, they
just so they look very unpredictable. I'm very stuffed about
the Patriots defense because you never really know what you're
gonna get. I was just listening on to some Paul shows.
They're shooting down the idea of of Miles Year. I

(49:11):
would like to see him on there or bre Saw,
but I just don't think that the I think what
the Patriots might do is they might just wait for
the offseason. I want to get Evan's take on that
part is do you think they should just utilize the
ten picks in the next year's draft for edge since
it looks pretty good, or if we should just go
after now and just make a splash.

Speaker 3 (49:31):
Okay, thanks Stanning.

Speaker 5 (49:33):
I just I always go back to the same thing
with the trade deadline, Like I don't think that those
types of names move at the trade deadline.

Speaker 8 (49:40):
Usually the trade.

Speaker 5 (49:41):
Deadline is to add depth to a weak area of
the roster. Like yesterday the Eagles and Jets made a
trade and they traded Michael Carter, who's the Jets' former
Jets slot corner. Like, we're not talking about trading for
Miles Garrett. We're not talking about trading for you know,
a j Brown. Like those type of guys typically, if

(50:03):
they're gonna move, they move in the off season or
maybe you know, like Micah Parsons, like right before the
start of the season. But the deadline is usually there
are trades, but it's swapping depth pieces for depth pieces.

Speaker 3 (50:17):
So if you're asking, though, there's never been, you know,
a big trade at the trade at deadline the end.

Speaker 5 (50:24):
So the one trade that I can think of that
was truly like this guy's in his prime was Jalen Ramsey,
who got traded from Jacksonville to the Rams, like right
around the trade deadline that season. But unless I'm not
thinking of one off the top of my head, I
don't remember, like, yeah, like there's been names that you
recognize that have been traded, but I know what you mean,
like an NBA MLB style trade where like a Pro Bowl,

(50:48):
all Pro caliber player moves in the middle of the season.

Speaker 3 (50:50):
Right, significant stuff going back and forth. Right, Yeah, Listen,
Paul and I talked about it before the show. I
broke down and I bought some new work boots from
Brunt Ooh. I brought the Sullivans more traditional work boots
than the ones they gave us. Those are two nice.
I was plaining to Paul why, he said, why don't

(51:11):
you just wear those. I'm like, they're too nice. I
don't want to muck them up.

Speaker 2 (51:14):
So now he ask me concerned that I need to
do the same thing.

Speaker 3 (51:17):
Now, if you don't care about it, then wear them.
I wanted to get just regular kind of work boots,
which I did so by using my PATS code, I
got ten dollars off. I got the Sullivans for one
hundred and thirty nine bucks.

Speaker 2 (51:30):
Good deal.

Speaker 1 (51:31):
Those are sharp for it.

Speaker 7 (51:32):
I like these.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
That's the way it's done right there.

Speaker 3 (51:34):
You can get them in dark brown or lighter brown.

Speaker 1 (51:36):
Yeah, that's a good looking that's a good looking boot
right there.

Speaker 3 (51:39):
Yeah. So I got those and you can too because
Brunt work where it makes boots and apparel that are
built for the job site, and they're an official sponsor

All right, we're joined today for our post practice interview
with Brendan Schooler Patriots captain Brendon Thanks for joining us.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
Fresh off the field.

Speaker 12 (54:17):
Yeah, I appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (54:18):
Thanks for going a little cold out there right now
as a certain it is.

Speaker 6 (54:22):
I was telling my family's in town this week for
the game. I was telling them, like, you guys, get
a better, get better up here before because it's gonna
start getting cold real quick. They might have been one
of the last practices I didn't have any gloves on.

Speaker 1 (54:32):
Does that exist in Texas?

Speaker 3 (54:33):
Football weather?

Speaker 1 (54:34):
Like it doesn't seem like you know here, it's like
a thing.

Speaker 4 (54:36):
It feels like fall and there's like football weather.

Speaker 6 (54:38):
But I mean those Texas people, they think, you know,
it gets below fifty and it's cold. So I came
up here and I I was in a bit of
a shock for a little bit, but now I'm pretty.

Speaker 3 (54:47):
Used to it.

Speaker 7 (54:47):
Well, you've been here a while now, I mean, huge
yar for you. Last year, made a Pro Bowl All
Pro Team. This year we revoted captain. Just what did
that mean for you this year to take that next
step in your leadership.

Speaker 6 (54:56):
I mean, I think it was, you know, a testament
to a lot of the leaders that we're here. When
I was, you know, first first in the in the
in the building, like you know, Matthew Slater, Justin Bethel,
Cody Davis, Joe Cardona, like Nick folk, Like all those
guys kind of laid the foundation for me to you know,
showed me the right way to do things, So it
was it was easy for me to follow in their footsteps.
And so once I got, you know that that nomination

(55:18):
for captain this year, it was, it was it was
a huge blessing. And you know, from being an undrafted
guy to to now a captain on the Patriots.

Speaker 12 (55:25):
It's it was. It was a pretty uh surreal moment.

Speaker 5 (55:28):
Speaking of all of that, we were talking earlier about
Marcus Jones getting his contract extension. A guy that you
came in with from the same rookie class now both
captains as well. Just uh, what's it been like to
see his growth and now getting that contract extension.

Speaker 12 (55:42):
Oh, it's been so much fun to watch.

Speaker 6 (55:43):
He's just such like a natural leader, and like when
he's on the field and he talks like guys listen,
and even off the field, you know, when he has
something to say, you could tell like guys in the
room really pay attention to what he has to say.

Speaker 12 (55:53):
And you know, when I when I found out.

Speaker 6 (55:55):
He got his extension, I called him on the phone
and it was just so so happy for him and
you know, he he brought up a fun memory that
I kind of forgot about. When we were rookie staying
in the hotel, we would go into his room and
you know, go over to playbook together and make sure,
you know, we all knew what we were doing. And
so going from that, you know, both of us, I think,
being the last two guys standing in our draft class,
both captains, both you know, signed extensions. Like it's been

(56:17):
it's been pretty cool to you know, be be able
to be part of the process with with a guy
like Marcus.

Speaker 5 (56:22):
What's it like blocking for him on punts? Because that
looks like a lot of fun when he's back there.

Speaker 6 (56:26):
Oh yeah, I mean we we know what kind of
what kind of returner he is back there. So I
try to get all those guys you know who are
who are blocking for him to really strain and you know,
he just needs a little gap. He's gonna make one
or two guys.

Speaker 12 (56:36):
Miss.

Speaker 6 (56:36):
We just got to be you know, on body for
the rest of those guys. And so whenever we're on
on on the punt return team, like I go full
full balls to the wall man, just like trying to
trying to get something going for him because I know
at the end of the day, either he's going to
house it or he's gonna get great field position for
Drake and the offense to go down there and get points.

Speaker 7 (56:53):
You talked about some of the leaders that you know,
you kind of follow when you got here. Now you're
still a young guy, but you're kind of become that leader.
Just want to ask you specifically two rookies playing Big
Roll Street and Julian is the long snapper and Andy
as the kicker who has really been on a hot streak.
Just you know, what have you tried to do to
you know, model the same leadership that was modeled for
you when you got here for those young guys.

Speaker 6 (57:11):
Yeah, I mean I think it's a it's a mixture
of like taking him under my wing in tough love
at the same time because it is such a demanding
league that you can't be nice buddy buddy all the time.
And so I think it's like once you earn the
respect and the trust of these young guys, you can
kind of be more of that, you know role, like hey,
I need you to do this, like you I need

(57:31):
you to do this that and this for the team,
like this isn't just me telling you something. Like I've
been around the game, you know, at this level going
on four years now, not long, but I've seen a
lot of football, and I've got to be coached and
you know, play alongside really good players and coaches. So
you know, it's it's been awesome to see those guys
develop from when they were just little greenhorns getting in
here for the first time to you know, now having

(57:53):
their feet underneath them and like going out there and
playing well.

Speaker 5 (57:56):
When it comes to Andy specifically, how have you seen
him grow from that Miami game to now? Because I
don't think he's missed the kick since, you know, he's
been pretty nails and yeah, and uh you know, I
know he got the game ball after that game.

Speaker 8 (58:09):
And just his confidence. Where have you seen that grow?

Speaker 6 (58:12):
Yeah, I mean he's he's cool hand luke, like you
don't you could You couldn't tell if he missed five
kicks in a game or went six for six like
he did last week.

Speaker 12 (58:19):
So to you know, to see to see him have.

Speaker 6 (58:21):
That mindset where he walks in every day and he's
the same person every day he walks into the building,
and whether like I said, he goes zero for five
or five for five, like he's going to be the
same guy. And so you know, I tip my hat
off to that because I couldn't imagine the pressure that
you know, kickers are under and let alone after you know,
have a couple of hiccups and you know, the Miami
week to come back and you know, kick how he's
been kicking. It's it's been really impressive.

Speaker 8 (58:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (58:43):
I hopefully I didn't just jink some right Sunday and everyone's
gonna blame me. I wanted to ask you about the
kickoff return and with this new rule, and you know,
one of the things that stands out to me is
just how close you guys are together to uh the
coverage unit and that sound feels like a difficult play
to block nowadays, And just what is your perspective on

(59:06):
how challenging that play is?

Speaker 8 (59:07):
The block?

Speaker 6 (59:08):
Yeah, I mean it's it is really hard. And you
are literally in a phone booth because you're only five
yards away or ten yards away at the max, and
you know, you get a guy running full speed at
you and he's got damnure two way go whichever way
you know he wants to go. So I think it's
all about like having the right matchup, because if I
have to go block a d M, like, it's probably
not going to be pretty. So I think putting the
players in positions to be successful, which what our coaches

(59:30):
do a really good job at. And then it's just
out there, it's just your one on one matchup, like
you have to want it more than him at the
end of the day. So I think we got guys
on our on our kickoff return team that can see
how important this phase of the game is and how
important field position is. And you know, coach Vrabel preaches
that all the time, like we got to get it
out past the thirty like that is our kind of

(59:52):
landmark where if we get it past the thirty, like
that's a good return for us. And then we get
our offense rolling. And you know, another big thing is
like no penalties, because if you get a penalty backed up,
you know, however many yards, and then the offense is
backed up, and then that leads, you know, to the
punt team coming out backed up, and then I'm upset
because we got a punt in our own in our
own territory, and I'm probably gonna get vice. So It's

(01:00:12):
like it's a compound effect, and I think guys are
really have a really good grasp at that.

Speaker 12 (01:00:15):
But it is a hard It is a hard play.
I'll give it that for sure.

Speaker 5 (01:00:19):
Yeah, last follow up. Sorry I'm nerding out about this
for a second. You you usually line up off the
line of scrimmage on those kickoff returns, Like, what's the
method to the madness behind you? Because I usually I
only see you back there? So is that just to
give you a little bit more space to kind of
read and react?

Speaker 8 (01:00:35):
Like, what's the method to that?

Speaker 2 (01:00:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 12 (01:00:36):
I mean I think everyone's still trying to figure it out.

Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
Still.

Speaker 6 (01:00:39):
It's only a year two and so guys are still
trying things. And you know, it's I think I have
a better like vantage point of like what's happening, and
I can see like the kickers approach and all that,
and you know where we think the ball is going
to go, and so I think it just it just
flows better with me back there, And I think that's
kind of why they have me five yards further back
than everybody else.

Speaker 12 (01:00:58):
Makes sense.

Speaker 7 (01:00:58):
Just to wrap it up big picture, I mean, rough couple.
Last year's not a lot of wins now, you're on
a five game win streak. You guys have already won
six games. Just how much fun are you having right
now with this team and the success you're having.

Speaker 6 (01:01:08):
Oh, winning is living, man, and right now we're we're
living pretty well.

Speaker 12 (01:01:12):
So it's it's been a lot of fun.

Speaker 6 (01:01:13):
And like you mentioned, those past two seasons, both four
and thirteen seasons, was not fun. Like that is not
fun at all, Just like all the hard work that
we put in in the off season and you know,
preparing for each game each week. So to come out
here and be on a five game win streak right now,
it's it's I'm having a lot of fun playing football.
Got to keep it rolling, right, yep, Let's keep it rolling. Thanks, thanks,

(01:01:34):
thanks for joining us.

Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
And now great moments in history.

Speaker 5 (01:01:41):
My point was, like alex is just saying that you
can't You couldn't imagine to an eight and neither could have.
That's I couldn't have either, because I thought that at
the very worst, they would.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
Just be to think I'm really I am negative and
I don't think, but.

Speaker 8 (01:01:56):
I don't I don't like you don't cur that well.

Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
But but you said seven wins was their ceiling, right, Yeah,
and I don't necessarily disagree with that.

Speaker 8 (01:02:03):
They're not going to get to seven wins.

Speaker 4 (01:02:05):
But if everything fell in from in other words, if
they stayed healthy, everything fell.

Speaker 8 (01:02:09):
In place, but everybody was hurt close.

Speaker 4 (01:02:12):
The other teams got hurt, and you didn't like, maybe
you could win seven games. That's how I felt about
this team.

Speaker 8 (01:02:17):
I don't, but I don't necessarily disagree with that.

Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
If they're two and eight, Paul, like there, I thought
the win four games, that's going to be a lot.

Speaker 11 (01:02:25):
I didn't think the offense could get worse than I
didn't think that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
I would.

Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
I would that, but that's I didn't think the offense
could be worse than it was.

Speaker 7 (01:02:32):
And my question is just I think we all kind
of agreed that, like six, I feel like we said
a lot. Six six wins feels like the floor for
this team, Like he's too good a coach.

Speaker 1 (01:02:41):
To not get them six wins. Why aren't we the
six wins this year?

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
You know, yeah, I would have said, it's like, see
I would. I know you think I'm probably lying, but
I'm not either for it because I think there's some
teams that they could be just like the last couple
of games, they played, they could have won.

Speaker 8 (01:02:59):
That would be a bigginess.

Speaker 7 (01:03:00):
That's another great moment from all Right, guys, it's time
for the co Pilot Question of the Week, presented by
Microsoft co Pilot, where every day is game Day and
where every decision is powered by insight and innovation. Microsoft
technology helps to make decisions faster, insights sharper, and strategies
more adaptive.

Speaker 1 (01:03:18):
So, Polly and Fred my question this week.

Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
Which Alex doesn't get to answer, Well, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
If I was we get this one.

Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
It was probably it about a little before his time,
grass fed beef as a coaster free roaming chicken.

Speaker 9 (01:03:28):
It's about you guys being old in me being young.

Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
Oh that hurts, that's hey boomer.

Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
Well we'll see if she remembers this one though.

Speaker 2 (01:03:36):
Look at the little jock.

Speaker 7 (01:03:38):
He's like, Okay, when was the last time the Atlanta
Falcons beat the New England Patriots? And that was a
question which so fortunately an emailer kind of ruined it.

Speaker 2 (01:03:47):
Email ruined it.

Speaker 4 (01:03:48):
So it's going nineteen ninety eight was eight, it was
I'm going to go forty one to ten?

Speaker 2 (01:03:56):
Yes, wow, you.

Speaker 8 (01:03:58):
Want to do?

Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
What do you want to give any insight? Into the game.

Speaker 4 (01:04:00):
I have some j Santiago scoring touchdowns and doing the
dirty bird.

Speaker 3 (01:04:04):
Well, that's a great one pilot when you have.

Speaker 2 (01:04:11):
That's as early as I've ever left the game. In discuss.

Speaker 1 (01:04:14):
You left the game in disgust.

Speaker 7 (01:04:15):
Blitzoe did have a touchdown, interception, took five sacks in
that game.

Speaker 4 (01:04:19):
It was not good in any way, shape or form. Now,
what we didn't really know at the time was Atlanta
was pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:04:26):
So they went to the Super.

Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
Bowl that dirty bird there.

Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Like you said, they got off to a decent start,
but getting smacked around like that at home by the
Falcons was like, oh my god, like what happened? Yeah,
and then I think I think Atlanta went fourteen and two.

Speaker 7 (01:04:41):
They did go fourteen and two, Paul. They lost to
Denver in the Super Bowl thirty four to nineteen. A
couple other notes about that game. Uh, Tony Simmons eleven targets,
four catches, ninety five yards.

Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
You remember Tony Simmons, Patriots out.

Speaker 2 (01:04:53):
His second round Receiverada Wisconsin.

Speaker 7 (01:04:55):
There you go, and Tayla had two interceptions as well.
But as you said, the big dirty year, Jamal Anderson
had one hundred and four and had two touchdowns. If
you guys don't know the dance, but that's what I
used to do.

Speaker 1 (01:05:06):
So, yes, it's.

Speaker 3 (01:05:08):
Been that long.

Speaker 4 (01:05:08):
That game was not competitive, being the Falcons took him
into the woods.

Speaker 7 (01:05:11):
Yet Now was that like kind of when you were realizing,
like ninety six happen, you go to the Super Bowl?
Ninety seven Okay, not bad, we're back in the playoffs.
But ninety eight arrives. Do you feel like you're starting
to maybe lose some.

Speaker 2 (01:05:22):
Of that we were that I was still in denial.

Speaker 4 (01:05:25):
Yeah, but uh, and they probably would have been better
than nine and seven if Drew didn't get hurt.

Speaker 2 (01:05:31):
But Drew played in that game and they got killed killed.

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
Yeah, well there you have it, guys. That's uh. You
know it'll be better next time.

Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
We don't.

Speaker 7 (01:05:39):
We don't undercut it with some safety emailer coming in first.

Speaker 4 (01:05:42):
I don't know if I would have remembered like the
last time, like specifically the last game, but if you
had said that was the game, I didn't look any.

Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
Of that up. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:05:51):
I remember that game, and I remember leaving in the
third quarter and being disgusted.

Speaker 1 (01:05:55):
The second I that wouldn't happened. I thought it was
right state.

Speaker 3 (01:05:58):
Tips was.

Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
Trudging out in shame.

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
Oh yeah, yeah, it's hard to believe it's been that
long though. That's that's that's pretty crazy.

Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
That was my last year was a season ticket holder.
The next year I took me away from all I
started working. Yet you know you were four years four years.
I was going to say two a little baby.

Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
He was watching that.

Speaker 3 (01:06:21):
Declan writes, and why does our own fan base trying
discount how good the Chiefs are? When we had struggles
during the Brady years, the entire media was calling for
the end in New England. Our downfall was long after
the media predicted it. The Chiefs are a great team.
It should never be underestimated. Let's not try and measure
up to them right now? Well, I think we should
try and measure up to absolutely.

Speaker 4 (01:06:42):
I want to try to measure up to the best,
but I don't want to like, you know, there was
a little of this, but not as much after the
Buffalo you know, heading into the Buffalo game, they're not
that good and then the Patriots win and it's all
of a sudden, the celebration.

Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
I'm like, no, no, no, no.

Speaker 4 (01:06:55):
Remember last week when you guys were telling me Buffalo
was overrated, and no, I think that Buffalo win was outstanding.

Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
That's a big win when you.

Speaker 4 (01:07:02):
Go when you go to Buffalo and you beat them,
I don't care how Buffalo played. The Patriots played well, yeah,
and that's that's a big win. That's a big boy
win against a good team.

Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
I'm excited to see Buffalo Kansas City. You know, I
think both those teams are.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
They're done that.

Speaker 7 (01:07:16):
I just think it's two teams that maybe there are
some questions, but whoever wins this game and in what
fashion has an opportunity you really use it as a springboard.

Speaker 4 (01:07:24):
I just think it'll be wildly you know, and this
is happens every week in that league, but it's gonna
be wildly overreacted to. Like whatever happens, you know, Oh,
if Kansas City loses, it's gonna be see you guys
wanted to crown the Chiefs. They're still Or if Buffalo loses,
see like they're just soft, they can't win the big,
big games. Like I think they both won enough big

(01:07:47):
games over the last five years to say those two
teams will be there in January and wake me up.

Speaker 1 (01:07:52):
For the playoffs. Is that where you're at probably now.

Speaker 4 (01:07:54):
I think it's a big game for both of those teams.
Don't get me wrong, Like if Kansas City beats Buffalo
in Buffalo, I'm not going to tell you Buffalo didn't
take the game seriously and vice versa. Right, you know,
it's not just another road game for the Chiefs. It's
a big game for both of those teams. But I
think both of those teams will still be heard from,
you know, even the loser will still be heard from.

Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Let's put it that way.

Speaker 7 (01:08:14):
So as you get to that point, I mean, i'd
be interested to hear with you guys, what your perspective
was it on with the Patriots like as they.

Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
Got into I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:08:23):
I mean, it's hard to say because I feel like
this is probably like the seven, eight h nine kind
of years for the Chiefs, where you've won a couple,
you've been around, everyone knows you're good, and now it's
a little bit about maybe having to replace some parts
along the way. It doesn't quite feel like they've hit
that point though, or where it felt like twenty ten,
twenty eleven was kind of like this is a whole
new defense.

Speaker 1 (01:08:43):
Now, this is nothing like what it was in seven
o eight.

Speaker 7 (01:08:46):
At that point things started, you know, evolving and had
to evolve.

Speaker 2 (01:08:51):
You know.

Speaker 7 (01:08:51):
The Chiefs are still kind of on Kelsey and Chris
Jones a little bit, but otherwise they've done a pretty
good job. I mean they drafted a lot of really
good talent Trup mcduffee, you know, and just even with
the receivers they'd have, they've made it work.

Speaker 2 (01:09:01):
Guys like Nick Bolton, big part of their defense they have,
and the other.

Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
You know, they've done a nice job of turning it
over and Buffalo really has two. They just, for whatever reason,
they can't get over the mental hurdle of.

Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
Winning when it matters most because.

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
Windows ever so slowly.

Speaker 3 (01:09:23):
Curtis and Saint Louis writing in we all came into
the season believing Gonzo would be the best player on
this roster. Is it fair to say that Drake has
taken over that title or is it still too early?

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
That's I think that's very fair.

Speaker 3 (01:09:36):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
He's playing like an MVP right now.

Speaker 3 (01:09:38):
And who would you put as the third best player
on the team, Marcus Jones, I mean Williams.

Speaker 1 (01:09:46):
Probably Williams, that's a good one.

Speaker 3 (01:09:48):
Yeah, at his position with the extension of Marcus Jones.
I'd like to get your opinion on a few other
guys that were brought in on one year deal. Should
they get extended? Should any of these guys get extended? Tonga, Yes,
Chase On Yes, I.

Speaker 2 (01:10:04):
Would be a no one Chase On Tonga.

Speaker 9 (01:10:07):
Yes, Gibbs, Gibson.

Speaker 3 (01:10:10):
I think he means Gibson.

Speaker 1 (01:10:11):
I think Gibson's under contract this year.

Speaker 3 (01:10:14):
Unless he means Gibbons.

Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
Gibbons, I bet you he means Gibbons.

Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
Is that a one year? Was that a one year? Whatever?
And what about Hawkins?

Speaker 1 (01:10:22):
I would he'd probably be Yeah, he was a one
year deal.

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
I'm good with uh.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
I would try to probably upgrade that position. But I
think he's an okay baseline to bring back.

Speaker 4 (01:10:33):
Meant to bring this up to you off air, so
I apologize for putting you on the spot now. But
your friend of mine, Nick FITZI Stevens was alluding to
vagaries revolving around the potential to require a safety that's
going to make everybody excited.

Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
I didn't know if you had any insight into that.
I don't know you have a closer relationship with Fitz.

Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
Have not connected with this week. I'm not sure what
he was.

Speaker 4 (01:10:57):
The only guy I could think of off the top
of my head which wouldn't really excite me at this
stage of his career was Kevin Byered.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
Oh, like maybe he was talking about getting bired.

Speaker 1 (01:11:06):
Yeah, I mean, I don't know why.

Speaker 4 (01:11:09):
Terrific career, like the player a lot. I don't think
he's what he once was. No, but I didn't know
who he might be talking about. Now everybody seems to
be looking for the same things. Yeah, I mean what
I've found. I'm not on Twitter as much as I
used to be, but I.

Speaker 7 (01:11:24):
See a lot of like random people being like hearing
big things and you'll know when they make the move,
and if they don't, it means that they didn't make it.
And I'm like, so you're just saying, like I was
going to, I have no accountabilities of anything hearing.

Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
Like these people in their basements, like people are just
calling it right.

Speaker 7 (01:11:45):
I just want you to know though, I mean it's
h I mean, it's one way to try to, you know,
gain traction and gain gain followers because maybe one time
you thread the needle and you're actually right. I don't know,
but I see a lot more of it now than
you know, the early days of Twitter when it didn't
seem as much of that. People trying to like impersonate
because these are your people with connection.

Speaker 4 (01:12:03):
These are the people on your feet now, Like I
don't get a lot of that.

Speaker 3 (01:12:07):
What would you rather be if you could choose a
job Adam Schefter or a GM of the team.

Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
A GM and the GM of the team.

Speaker 3 (01:12:14):
Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:12:16):
Adam Schefter seems like he is attached to his phone,
so is the GM. At least you're actually like building
the team and not just dealing in gossip.

Speaker 14 (01:12:25):
All.

Speaker 11 (01:12:26):
I would say, Adam Schefter has more job security, but
why don't you reach that level?

Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
And he might make more money, no doubt he has.

Speaker 9 (01:12:32):
Right, Money's probably comparable.

Speaker 4 (01:12:35):
He definitely has better jobs.

Speaker 11 (01:12:36):
Like it's not like he's going to experience a losing
season and lose his job.

Speaker 3 (01:12:40):
But it just seems like people just love to have
the knowledge. They love the inside knowledge.

Speaker 2 (01:12:46):
Hearing them only his team.

Speaker 3 (01:12:49):
Yeah, Adam Schefter has it from all everyone.

Speaker 2 (01:12:52):
Well, you know, good ones have all that knowledge.

Speaker 7 (01:12:55):
I just think if you were going to do one
of those two jobs, I'd much rather be like actually
in the fire building the team making decisions instead of
like you're basically just a hub for information like that's
you know what Adam Schefter is.

Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
You know, But if you like hearing things, if you
love gossip.

Speaker 1 (01:13:12):
And to tell now I know something you don't.

Speaker 4 (01:13:14):
The only thing about Adam Schefter's job that I envy
is his salary. Wow, I don't envy anything else about it.

Speaker 9 (01:13:20):
It sounds like pretty miserable.

Speaker 2 (01:13:22):
How many times.

Speaker 4 (01:13:24):
Two teams tell you to do?

Speaker 2 (01:13:26):
Yeah, I have no interest in that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:29):
Now, I do have quite a bit of interest in
his salary.

Speaker 9 (01:13:34):
At any time, he's made enough money.

Speaker 3 (01:13:36):
That's why he makes that money. He has to deal
with all those teams and always be on.

Speaker 9 (01:13:40):
And I watch. I think stepped back to health issues too, but.

Speaker 3 (01:13:46):
Just yeah, Terrence and Raleigh. With the news that Michael
Pennix could start against the Patriots, I was wondering if
there has ever been a team that has faced two
lefty quarterbacks in a row. Surely the PFF or next
gen has a fit for that. I would do the
research myself, but that's what you pay Evan for.

Speaker 7 (01:14:04):
But it's a good question, I mean, And they also
had two of this year, so it's I mean it
could be three, maybe even four lefties if that all
worked out. That games against lefties.

Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
But love the show, especially the lefties Paul and Fred,
who bring their special right brain dominated insights and feel
for the league. I feel like Deuce is a lefty
at heart.

Speaker 1 (01:14:23):
Well I do bat lefty and shoot lefty, but oh yeah,
throw right.

Speaker 2 (01:14:26):
You crush at Iru once said on this show.

Speaker 1 (01:14:29):
I have been known too.

Speaker 3 (01:14:30):
I actually see a middling Falcons team this week Patriots
twenty eight to sixteen.

Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
It's kind of where I am. I think, you know,
mid twenties to mid tis all.

Speaker 2 (01:14:38):
Over my scores.

Speaker 4 (01:14:39):
I need to say, not like one off here or there,
including Jewels, who sent out the email today and gave
us a prediction.

Speaker 1 (01:14:48):
I did enjoy, I wrote back to Jewels.

Speaker 7 (01:14:50):
I had to work in that the Falcons haven't beaten
the Patriots since the nineteen hundreds.

Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
It just sounds longer, say the nineteen hundreds.

Speaker 2 (01:14:57):
I remember, it was a long time ago.

Speaker 9 (01:14:59):
It was is getting fired now young kids think about it.

Speaker 1 (01:15:01):
I know I was like I was born back in
the nineteen high that's right.

Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
Brendan and Edmonton has a question for Alex. I don't
know why it's just relegated to her. But anyway, he says, Alex, Alex,
in your opinion for the top best game day dressers
on the team.

Speaker 2 (01:15:21):
I see why it was directed just to Ali.

Speaker 3 (01:15:23):
We can't have opinions on that.

Speaker 8 (01:15:24):
You should have welcome that.

Speaker 1 (01:15:26):
I got fashion opinions.

Speaker 2 (01:15:28):
He used to be white.

Speaker 1 (01:15:30):
He's a bull choice.

Speaker 9 (01:15:31):
He did dress pretty well. I'm liking Marcus Jones's looks lately.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
Not Matt Collins.

Speaker 4 (01:15:39):
He was a bishop, the only one that has no
interest in that.

Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
Not mac Collins.

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
Specific, but like his.

Speaker 1 (01:15:53):
I was trying to I.

Speaker 9 (01:15:54):
Think it's a stick.

Speaker 11 (01:15:55):
He's just like about that life and people are trying
to turn him into like some character. But everything he
does he thinks is like rooted and backed up with science.

Speaker 9 (01:16:03):
Like he's not when.

Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
You as a bishop, that's different.

Speaker 11 (01:16:08):
I think he's celebrating Halloween.

Speaker 4 (01:16:13):
I believe he made money off right, That's what they
were saying yesterday on.

Speaker 1 (01:16:19):
He's like a sponsor, like a chess company.

Speaker 11 (01:16:22):
I don't know if they sent it to him, if
you just ordered it to him, that's a question for sailor.

Speaker 4 (01:16:27):
Yeah, I mean I like Matt Collins. He seems like
a really nice guy and by all accounts, he's one
of these glue guys. You know, everybody likes him as
a veteran presence, you know, in the in the locker room.
So it sounds like he's a really kind of stand
up guy.

Speaker 2 (01:16:42):
I like him.

Speaker 1 (01:16:43):
I just I don't like the whole you see himself
as a bishop?

Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
Is that like?

Speaker 7 (01:16:46):
What is it like I'd be a queen because you
can go any direction as many spaces as you want.

Speaker 1 (01:16:50):
But I don't know.

Speaker 9 (01:16:51):
According to Sailor, I don't think he's picked the piece.

Speaker 3 (01:16:53):
That's just what he so best dresser.

Speaker 11 (01:16:56):
M hmm, Marcus digs interesting style.

Speaker 9 (01:17:02):
Yeah, like I'm liking the Western stuff.

Speaker 7 (01:17:03):
A lot of rips, the a lot of Western stuff,
a lot of holes, holes in their shirts.

Speaker 4 (01:17:08):
Sometimes that day that he had that T shirt on
that probably costs like more than Mike and I.

Speaker 7 (01:17:13):
Make Yeah, that's what's funny, you know that you're like,
that's an interesting outfit, and it's like it's like two
thousand dollars.

Speaker 9 (01:17:20):
I'd have to think about it a little more.

Speaker 3 (01:17:25):
All right, Mike, make sure you're back in ten minutes
or less.

Speaker 4 (01:17:29):
Everyone quick vibe check in the locker room, and don't
forget to keep track of what Evan's doing, because you
know Fred will ask iron.

Speaker 3 (01:17:36):
Evan rob writes in the Patriots have proven they are good.
They mostly face bad teams. Yet every week and another
bad and I hear people say, oh, I'm worried about
this one. So another week and another bad team, and
people always say, I'm worried about this one. I'm worried
when the Patriots reached the playoffs, all these people might
have a heart attack. So I get what he's saying.

(01:17:59):
But you know, it's hard to win in the NFL,
and you're not gonna win every game. And right now
they're on a streak. At some point they're probably gonna lose.
And I think that and any given Sunday.

Speaker 11 (01:18:13):
You know, the Falcons are a team that are streaky too,
Like they've beat some good teams and they've gotten smoked
by I.

Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
Think Atlanta upset Buffalo as an example. I think Atlanta
has comparable talent to some of those teams, and I
think if they play well, they can play with anybody.
I don't think that they can do it consistently enough.
And the quarterback is the biggest reason why I don't
think he's there yet. But I can't understand why people would,
you know, And I didn't think Cleveland had any chance

(01:18:41):
to win the game last week. I didn't think Tennessee
had any chance to win the game the week before.
I don't think those teams have, you know, at their best.
I don't think they have comparable talent to the Patriots,
which speaks volumes of how far the Patriots have come.

Speaker 3 (01:18:54):
For sure, Jeffrey in Canada, Maybe Evan is just playing
a new role on the show, which is obnoxious. Homer,
But pick a lane, bore us with all twenty two jargon,
or make ridiculous comments about Jonathan Taylor, who is completely
dominating the league right now for a team that is
in first place when most people pick finished near last.
He can't do both, though, so he's either the boring

(01:19:18):
ball noer or the ridiculous takeout.

Speaker 2 (01:19:21):
Of the boring Homer. Yeah no, I.

Speaker 4 (01:19:27):
Think part of that was a little tongue in cheek
with Evan, you know. I mean I would have taken
May because I think it's more impressive what May has done.
But I'm not diminishing the contributions Jonathan Taylor. He's been dominant, dominant,
He's got something like fourteen touchdowns in eight games. I mean,

(01:19:48):
I'm not a big touchdown guy because someone's going to
score the touchdown. Yeah, but when one guy has them all, like,
that's a little different.

Speaker 3 (01:19:56):
Jackson Falmouth, Hey Jack, Hi, can you hear me? Yes?

Speaker 19 (01:20:03):
Awesome.

Speaker 13 (01:20:05):
I was wondering about Craig Woodson with the Dugger trade.

Speaker 15 (01:20:08):
What do you all think is Craig Woodson's ceiling and.

Speaker 17 (01:20:12):
War because he's, you know, a fourth round pick and
I just don't know how I feel about him yet.

Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
Yeah, it's a good question.

Speaker 4 (01:20:20):
I mean, I don't I think he's been serviceable. I
think he struggles and coverage, I think he's still learning.
It's impossible for me to tell you what his ceiling
is because I don't know how much he's learning, you know, like,
is this the mistakes that he makes? Is that are
those mistakes of like a lack of experience, lack of
understanding of the concepts and whatnot?

Speaker 2 (01:20:42):
Or is he physically not good enough? I don't know.
Right coaches would know, but I don't. I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (01:20:50):
I think he struggles, but he's a rookie, fourth round pick.
I didn't expect him to be Harrison Smith or you
know Kyle Hamilton.

Speaker 2 (01:20:58):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (01:20:59):
Uh, person wants to know if the Bills Pass game
can be flexed to primetime that week. I've seen the
people think it might be flexed to Monday night. But
I've read that CBS has the rights to at least
one AFC divisional game per year, and the first game
was on NBC. I'm gonna go into the game and
would have it would have to be moved. So he

(01:21:21):
wants just he just wants absolutely it's eligible.

Speaker 4 (01:21:23):
I think it's eligible to be flexed, and I think
if you ask me right now, I would project that
it will be flexed. I think that game is on
December fourteenth, and it could be for the AFC East Division.
I would say that there's a chance that that could
be moved, and I would like his his scenario. I
like it being moved to Monday night instead of Sunday night.

Speaker 3 (01:21:43):
If it is, yeah, that's tough though, if you have
tickets to the game, that's yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:21:50):
When they started on the same day, But if it's
especially a weekday like a Monday, you got to really
plan for that.

Speaker 9 (01:21:57):
Potentially take two days off.

Speaker 4 (01:21:59):
Now, what if you like go into a Thursday night
game somewhere and they flex that that sucks.

Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
Yeah, I mean they don't care.

Speaker 9 (01:22:06):
No, they don't.

Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
They don't care.

Speaker 4 (01:22:08):
I had this argue with Fred years ago when they
started this flex stuff, like I don't think it's they
don't care at all about the fans and what they
put the fans through because they know they have the
TV money. Yeah, and it's coming in, and that's all
they care about is growing the revenue.

Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
All right. Eric has about a half dozen questions that
will hopefully stump Paul in us. First one was who
was the last player the Patriots took in the supplemental Draft?

Speaker 2 (01:22:38):
Who was the last let's say Juwan Cherry.

Speaker 3 (01:22:40):
Correct nineteen ninety nine too.

Speaker 2 (01:22:42):
How many first year Alex?

Speaker 3 (01:22:44):
How many punters have the Patriots sent to the Pro Bowl? Oh? God,
franchise history.

Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
I'm gonna say four two? D hold on Rich Camberrio.

Speaker 3 (01:22:58):
Correct nineteen eighty three.

Speaker 2 (01:23:03):
With the Patriots, Yep, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:23:09):
Won't you come home, Jake Bailey?

Speaker 9 (01:23:11):
Won't you forget about that?

Speaker 3 (01:23:14):
Who has the second most games wearing jersey number twelve
Matt Kavanaugh correct, fifty two games. Who has the most
interceptions as a Patriot Mike Haynes, Fred Marion or Maurice Hurst.

(01:23:39):
Fred Marion correct twenty nine, Haines is twenty eight and
Hurst is twenty seven. Who was the Red Sox Loane
representative in the nineteen ninety four Major League Baseball All
Star Game?

Speaker 2 (01:23:54):
Say that one again.

Speaker 3 (01:23:55):
Who was the Red Sox Loan representative in the nineteen
ninety four All Star Game?

Speaker 2 (01:24:00):
Scott Cooper.

Speaker 3 (01:24:01):
That's Craig third baseman. Six. And finally, how many quarterbacks
started a game for the nineteen eighty seven Patriots and
who were they?

Speaker 4 (01:24:12):
That's a great question, but I'm not going to be
able to answer it. I'm going to say five, you're
one short? Oh no, one?

Speaker 3 (01:24:19):
Tree four? No, you got it?

Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Five?

Speaker 4 (01:24:21):
Okay, so eighty seven? And I say Easton and Grogan.

Speaker 3 (01:24:26):
Yup, Brogan had six, Easton had three. Ramsey yep, Tim Ramsey, Tom,
Yes he has Tim is Tom's Tom three. Bob Blyer
Boblyer is two. And there's one more. He's your favorite quarterback.

Speaker 4 (01:24:44):
Paul oh Bambi Yeah, Doug Flutey flutie, Yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:24:50):
Good.

Speaker 2 (01:24:50):
Only I say it every week, If only I could
use this for good.

Speaker 9 (01:24:53):
They're getting creative they're trying to throw in Red Sox questions.

Speaker 3 (01:24:56):
Still not going to stump you, Yeah, stump Paul on
Red Sox.

Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
Come on, now he can stump me.

Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
Oh, by the way, on your show, one of your
shows this morning, they had a list of you know,
Boston are not just Boston athletes whose careers were would
have been even greater, but they were cut short by injury.
I think I came out with the coffee table book
about this years ago. I believe you did, yes, But anyway,
they stole my idea. And so you know, bo Jackson

(01:25:23):
was the consensus number one. You know, I don't disagree
with that. I didn't hear Tony kil Arrow's name. He's
got to be on that.

Speaker 14 (01:25:30):
Lie.

Speaker 2 (01:25:30):
Who is this? Who is doing this?

Speaker 3 (01:25:32):
It's somebody, you know, they were reading the list. Somebody
else did it. Tony c should be on that absolutely
now maybe he was, but no one. You know, people
were calling in and they were guessing a lot of names.
No one mentioned Tony Arrow. That's that's come on, poor
to me, Poor to me. I don't think your generation
doesn't understand the potential he had. That's true, he was

(01:25:56):
going to be.

Speaker 2 (01:25:58):
I was like you gotta.

Speaker 3 (01:26:00):
He got hit in the face with a baseball.

Speaker 9 (01:26:01):
Really, that was his injury.

Speaker 4 (01:26:03):
He was the fastest player for a career home run
or I'm sorry, the youngest player to one hundred career
home run.

Speaker 9 (01:26:09):
Did that like shatter his face so devastating.

Speaker 3 (01:26:12):
He tried to come back.

Speaker 4 (01:26:13):
He tried to come back several times. But really, yeah,
stucking around.

Speaker 9 (01:26:18):
Yeah, it was like that's traumatizing just to see.

Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
Yeah happening is nasty.

Speaker 9 (01:26:23):
Yeah, especially back then.

Speaker 3 (01:26:25):
Yeah, I think what it is came in his orbital
Oh my god, all this stuff. Yeah, he tried it,
like Paul Cy, he tried to come back. He just
couldn't do it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:35):
Like that happened in sixty seven, and he was still
playing in seventy five.

Speaker 9 (01:26:39):
Geez.

Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
Like he kept kept trying come back. They tried to
make him a pitcher at one point.

Speaker 9 (01:26:44):
Wow. Love of the game.

Speaker 3 (01:26:46):
Yeah, but he was. He would have been good. He
would have been good.

Speaker 8 (01:26:49):
He's looking at his baseball card with the black eye
on it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
Yeah, he may have been one of the greatest what
ifs in the history of sport.

Speaker 3 (01:26:56):
Yeap uh, Joe, pah Joe and penn Sylvania. What's up, Joe?

Speaker 15 (01:27:02):
Hey, guys, I love the show jumping on the Halloween theme.
It seems like variable continued like the like a Patriot
tradition of having like iconic sideline apparel with the with
the vests. You know, Bill had the hoodie, Josh has
the visor, Patricia had the pencil in the year Yeah,
even even Steve Belichick had the mullet and the tongue.

(01:27:26):
And my question for you guys is all three of you,
is if you guys were the head coaches, what would
be what would be your iconic sideline gear?

Speaker 17 (01:27:34):
Oh, I have a couple of guesses.

Speaker 15 (01:27:36):
I have a couple of guesses.

Speaker 17 (01:27:37):
Real quick.

Speaker 15 (01:27:38):
Alex first female female head coach. He has the classic
stack of the puffball hat, the ear muff, the old
style missed with only the two digits. He can and
hold the play card.

Speaker 3 (01:27:50):
Right.

Speaker 15 (01:27:51):
Pred I'm not sure exactly what you're wearing, but I
know what you're not wearing.

Speaker 17 (01:27:54):
It's those boots.

Speaker 15 (01:27:56):
Just wear the boots. Spread like life is too short,
go out of style by the time you wear them.
What are you waiting for a formal hike?

Speaker 5 (01:28:05):
Right?

Speaker 10 (01:28:05):
Just just wear them?

Speaker 4 (01:28:06):
I feeling for That's what I said today.

Speaker 2 (01:28:09):
You're doing work?

Speaker 4 (01:28:10):
Why are they so nice that you can't do work
in them?

Speaker 3 (01:28:12):
Because they're nice? So I'm wearing other.

Speaker 4 (01:28:14):
You're not going to wear them. I wear the semi formal.

Speaker 9 (01:28:17):
I do wear wear them like a farmer's market or
like a hay ride.

Speaker 3 (01:28:21):
All right, Okay, keep going, Paul.

Speaker 15 (01:28:24):
If you're going out Fred though, and you're reaching for
the boots, I feel like you're wrong.

Speaker 17 (01:28:28):
You gotta step up your shoe game.

Speaker 3 (01:28:29):
Okay, right, talk.

Speaker 13 (01:28:31):
With Alex right there.

Speaker 17 (01:28:32):
I'm sure she could help you.

Speaker 4 (01:28:33):
Yeah, right, I'm with Joe and Paul.

Speaker 15 (01:28:37):
I'm not sure what you'd be wearing, right, but it's
pretty easy that classic you'd had that classic Belichick scal
kind of we could have a big six up like
fifty and you're still mad.

Speaker 2 (01:28:47):
Oh no, I'd be more like Josh.

Speaker 4 (01:28:49):
I'm very emotional, and I'd be jumping up and down
the sideline.

Speaker 3 (01:28:53):
He's either wearing one of those faux hoodies, you know, those.

Speaker 8 (01:28:56):
Little quarters, and.

Speaker 2 (01:29:03):
Right he said, a full hoodie.

Speaker 3 (01:29:05):
Well, you know those little shirt hoodies that you wear.
I hate those. That's a hoodie. That's fine. What you've
got on right now is a hoodie.

Speaker 4 (01:29:12):
I'm going to my hopefully won't be my niece's last ever.

Speaker 3 (01:29:18):
Yeah, if I would not wear the logo of the
team he was coaching, that's for sure.

Speaker 15 (01:29:22):
Tournament Evans Evan's not there, but he would definitely have
Alex out there as as is a special teams coordinator.

Speaker 13 (01:29:29):
Yeah, Alex Barth.

Speaker 9 (01:29:31):
Alex Barth is like his guy.

Speaker 3 (01:29:34):
Evans pants would be so tight and he looked like
he's smuggling plumps.

Speaker 15 (01:29:39):
I never want to see that, like Babel and stretched.

Speaker 12 (01:29:42):
You know.

Speaker 15 (01:29:44):
Evans is stretch out there.

Speaker 3 (01:29:46):
Oh yeah, okay, all right, thanks Joe, you brought good
good phone call.

Speaker 4 (01:29:52):
I would get criticized weekly for being too emotional on
the sideline and losing track.

Speaker 3 (01:29:57):
Of how many times would he get kicked out of
the game, arguing with the refs.

Speaker 9 (01:30:01):
Counts a new record?

Speaker 4 (01:30:04):
Can you imagine what I would have done on the
sideline touchdown to tomorrow doctor Scott called back for the past.

Speaker 3 (01:30:11):
Afar and then after after the game the fines that
be levied on him. He wouldn't even care.

Speaker 11 (01:30:17):
Could be a head coach in the NFL driving an
old Sedan I won't name the brand, with a check
engine light on and expired inspection sticker.

Speaker 9 (01:30:26):
Despite his millions because the fines.

Speaker 2 (01:30:28):
Fines would be too crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:30:31):
Uh, Joe and Michigan. Denver has nine home games this
year and eight on the road. It's actually less on
the road. How involved is Williams in the defensive planning
due to his illness, he wants to know. Don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Yeah, I don't know the inner workings.

Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
Mike has said that Terrell has been around and you know,
been in communication, but I don't know how how involved.

Speaker 3 (01:30:54):
I got to imagine if he was really involved, we'd
know about it.

Speaker 4 (01:30:58):
He says that he's involved, but I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:31:00):
But if he was the guy, I don't know. I
don't think he is the guy. I know.

Speaker 3 (01:31:04):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:31:05):
I don't think anybody thinks he's the guy. The only
way his health more important.

Speaker 3 (01:31:13):
Anthony says in terms of the Falcons pass defense, that
Tua had two hundred and five yards and four touchdowns.

Speaker 4 (01:31:22):
That is correct. He threw for two hundred yards. I
knew that didn't sound right to me when they said
that he hadn't allowed. He barely got over two hundred yards.

Speaker 3 (01:31:29):
But he got over.

Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
Yeah, it was it was like two hundred and five yards.
He didn't have a huge. He had four touchdown passes, yep,
but he didn't throw for a lot of yards. Good
good email, though, because at anytime that the ball knowers
don't have their numbers, right.

Speaker 2 (01:31:44):
I particularly like it, Andrew.

Speaker 4 (01:31:47):
That's all you do. You don't bring anything else to
the table except for analysis of minutia, right.

Speaker 2 (01:31:54):
I'm just you can't even give me that.

Speaker 3 (01:31:55):
So I'm wondering in the game, is there a chance that.

Speaker 4 (01:32:00):
He got sacked? Yeah, there is. Well, I'll bet you
that's what the I bet you that's there. Right, they're
out right, it's good, Fred, Okay. The Miami's passing yardage
in the game was probably.

Speaker 2 (01:32:12):
Below two hundred, right, Okay, But it's not accurate to
say they have not allowed to passer.

Speaker 3 (01:32:18):
Maybe one went off his foot.

Speaker 2 (01:32:20):
Maybe good full circle, Andrew and d C.

Speaker 3 (01:32:25):
But originally from Vermont. Uh, and we're waiting for Duce
to get back. By the way, we are in a hurry.
Cabbage Night is a regional idiom largely confined to Vermont
and surrounding areas. If you've ever taken the New York
Times Regional Dialect Test good offseason game, it's the primary
marker that the test used to guess I was a Vermonter. Huh,

(01:32:47):
you learned something.

Speaker 4 (01:32:48):
New on PU Maybe that's why, Well, Duce kind of
intimated that he did that growing up.

Speaker 2 (01:32:53):
But because Deuce went to school in Vermont.

Speaker 4 (01:32:55):
Goot, yeah, I don't know if that's where he got
that term from.

Speaker 3 (01:32:59):
Very good, very good Stephen Marblehead. Yesterday, Paul asked why
fans are so worked up about the season, as if
it was a personal in the front. Paul, it wasn't
a front to my honor, to.

Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
My honor and my family's honor past seasons.

Speaker 2 (01:33:14):
I see what they're saying.

Speaker 4 (01:33:15):
I love that mentality. It's it wasn't personal to you,
that's all it's. You know, it wasn't embarrassing to you.

Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
You didn't play, uh, Sam and Easton any thoughts on
how may will play once the weather gets worse. Most
of the games have been perfect weather, including a dome.
Seemed like he struggled in week one in the rain.
Also has Christian in La become the most famous caller
and show history. We've had some famous.

Speaker 9 (01:33:47):
No, I'm not gonna take that from Eldred.

Speaker 4 (01:33:49):
No, there's a lot of famous callers, but you two,
Alex and Fred can restore my memory. We were talking
about this a little bit yesterday on when I was
on my show after the Raiders game. There was definitely
rain in the opener. Was there another game that it
was raining?

Speaker 3 (01:34:07):
It rained a little bit in Miami.

Speaker 11 (01:34:08):
Mieler's was a little overcasty. I don't think it was
a particularly nice day. This weekend's going to be like
fifty two and partly cloudy. So I thought, I'm not
going to find out some reason.

Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
I thought I remembered another game that it was raining.

Speaker 3 (01:34:21):
And periodically early in the Miami game you were.

Speaker 2 (01:34:25):
There, did not when it was on TV.

Speaker 11 (01:34:28):
Orny, So I feel like I want to say the
Steelers was overcasting and maybe rained the little in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:34:35):
But okay, so that would be that would be really
bad for my theory if that was a game that rained.
So there's some concern about you know, because this is
New England. This is what we do and I'm not
making fun of anybody for doing this because I do
it as much as anybody.

Speaker 2 (01:34:49):
The small sea concerns on the road and blah blah blah.

Speaker 4 (01:34:53):
You know what happens to Drake May when when the
weather turns. You know, we haven't really seen it. And
one of the things is his hand size. He doesn't
have big hands, and you know, fumbles whatnot. I'm not
worried about Drake May playing in bad weather.

Speaker 2 (01:35:09):
Go ahead, Alex.

Speaker 11 (01:35:10):
You have partly cloudy with temperatures around sixty six to
sixty seven.

Speaker 9 (01:35:15):
It was a pleasant autumn day in Foxborough.

Speaker 2 (01:35:17):
With that was Thelzburgh game. No rain, Okay, good.

Speaker 4 (01:35:22):
So I do have some concern about his hand size
if the weather's bad, if it's snow or rain, you know,
maybe that contributes to some ball security issues. Maybe I
am not worried at all about Drake may be able
to play in bad weather. And you know the reason
what I'm going to say for it like his arm
can cut the ball through the wind right, you know.
And that's the big thing to me. That the weather

(01:35:42):
prevents offenses from looking the same because quarterbacks can't throw
the ball with the same you know, precise nature that
they do in great weather. And there are some quarterbacks
that are greatly affected by wind and by elements. You know,
Tom Brady was never affected by it, always was the same,
and sometimes he was even better the worse the weather was.

(01:36:05):
I think that Josh Allen Drake May Patrick Mahomes. They
have arm strength that is sort of weather proof. The
hand size does worry me a little bit. I'm glad
that that's.

Speaker 9 (01:36:17):
Small or is it relative to his body because he's huge.

Speaker 4 (01:36:20):
He has small hands, really yeah for a quarterback. But
Patrick Mahomes also has small hands.

Speaker 2 (01:36:25):
For a quarterback. Hasn't really seemed to derail him anyway.

Speaker 9 (01:36:28):
Is like six'?

Speaker 2 (01:36:29):
Five is he he's pretty? BIG i don't know if
he's six.

Speaker 3 (01:36:32):
Five he is a. Big guy he's big as a, Great.

Speaker 11 (01:36:35):
GUY mahomes i Feel like drake is bigger than you,
realize too because he has such a. Baby face but
when you stand next, to him, you're like, Holy crap
like that.

Speaker 9 (01:36:43):
Next Woman is pokemon costume the, other day like he's.

Speaker 3 (01:36:45):
A giant speaking of, Famous callers Eldred In north carolina
is on. The line.

Speaker 20 (01:36:53):

Speaker 2 (01:36:56):

right he's taller than.

Speaker 7 (01:36:59):

Speaker 1 (01:37:02):

Speaker 15 (01:37:02):

Speaker 3 (01:37:08):

Released garnald johnson's.

Speaker 15 (01:37:14):

Speaker 2 (01:37:17):
Been on three teams. THIS year i don't have any
interest in him.

Speaker 3 (01:37:19):
At all.

Speaker 2 (01:37:21):
The, other, one, no.

Speaker 16 (01:37:28):

Speaker 7 (01:37:57):
THOUGH interesting i thought talking about his ability to catch the,
deep ball and, he said, you know, For me i'm
not the. FASTEST guy i think it's more about technique,
for me and THAT'S something.

Speaker 1 (01:38:06):
I developed.

Speaker 7 (01:38:07):
He said a lot of guys come, in with, you
know four to three speed and you think he's going
to take the top off. The defense but that doesn't.
Always translate so that ranked true. To me and also
talked a little Bit about drake may Swag AND keisham
boodi said he doesn't have, any swag but he's playing
well enough NOW that i don't know how much swag.

Speaker 4 (01:38:23):
YOU need i like the Fact that drake called his
own lack of swag out and, it's, like, yeah no
that's not.

Speaker 2 (01:38:28):
My, thing yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:38:29):
But no but he's he's.

Speaker 7 (01:38:30):
Funny though, you know he's a soft, spoken guy but
he's got That that louisiana draw. To him but he
said They gave drake like the, you know when he
saw That when drake, came out he did a little
this that.

Speaker 1 (01:38:39):
Was about as as much as he got Out.

Speaker 7 (01:38:41):
Of drake but like, you said when you're throwing bombs
all over the place, for touchdowns it doesn't. Really matter
so so It's quick, evan report hoping To Get travian
henderson today wants to write. About him he was a
little disappointed when we Got In travan henderson was not.
His logger But Then travan henderson came in pre practice shower.

To, GO.

Speaker 3 (01:43:11):
Yeah I think baltimore is ready for. This one last

bears are at the three And. Five bengals this game
IS On. Cbs chicago three.

Speaker 4 (01:43:42):
Point favorite Looks Like joe flacco is very iffy in
this game with an ac, joint spring WHICH is i
would think a significant injury for. A, QUARTERBACK.

Speaker 1 (01:43:51):
Yeah i had one. Of those I'M not i wasn't.

Speaker 2 (01:43:53):
A quarterback but but you do crush all.

lay the points.

Speaker 9 (01:44:08):
Shown, TOWN.

Speaker 4 (01:44:12):
Yeah i don't like, doing This but i'm going To
take chicago. AS well i don't have a lot of
faith In the bears on, the ROAD but I Think.
Jake brown, YOU know i Could see jake, browning, LIKE
okay i sat out a couple. Of WEEKS now i
KNOW what i was, doing wrong and maybe he has a.
Good game But that bengals defense is really bad giving

(01:44:34):
up thirty nine Of.

Speaker 2 (01:44:34):
The jets, come on what are?

Speaker 3 (01:44:36):
We, doing yeah this is a tough game. TO pick
i would. FADE this i would not be going to
the window on. This one but smart. That's WHY but
i have to pick, a GAME and i Hate, the
BENGALS so i will Pick the bears to win.

Speaker 7 (01:44:50):

of no affiliates picking, That game detroit by eight and.

Speaker 2 (01:45:09):
A half a lot of big spreads.

Speaker 7 (01:45:11):
This week SPREAD so i know a lot of rumblings Out,
of Minnesota and i'll. CREATE culture i Know it's kevin O'Connell.

Speaker 4 (01:45:18):
Tight, PANTS.

Speaker 2 (01:45:20):

Speaker 1 (01:45:22):
Great coach i'm surprised.

Speaker 7 (01:45:23):
By it they look pretty button not when we saw him,
THE summer jj McCarthy. Coming BACK but I just detroit is,
too good their top five team in.

Speaker 1 (01:45:30):
THE league i can't do it with. The points i'm
Gonna lamb.

Speaker 9 (01:45:34):
Detroit. For sure with The win minnesota. TO cover i don't, like.

Speaker 4 (01:45:43):
It, Though yeah i'm going To take detroit. Both ways
i'll Be. WITH mike i Think the lions like to
try to win by as many as. They can they're
one of those teams that seems to keep the.

Speaker 2 (01:45:54):
Keep the pedal to. THE medal a rare good Pick.

Speaker 3 (01:45:57):
By mike detroit, both ways, Much right.

Speaker 3 (01:46:21):
Think is there an Injury. At carolina we need to Know.

Speaker 4 (01:46:24):
About bryce young last, week's GAME but i don't know if,
he's playing so.

Speaker 3 (01:46:28):
This spread kind of indicates to me That the sharps
think he may.

Speaker 4 (01:46:31):
Not play carolina, also stinks, but, well yeah but they
they're not a Good, form okay they're.

Speaker 7 (01:46:39):
Not good they're not they're not, good good, All right
i'm gonna lay, the POINTS but I don't i don't
feel great. ABOUT it i Think green bay is a
little bit like wishy washy when it comes to games.

Speaker 2 (01:46:48):
Like this.

Speaker 9 (01:46:51):
I'll take the points just because they're. At Home green bay.

Speaker 4 (01:46:53):
Both, Ways yeah i'm gonna do. THE same i Think
green BAY and. I Agree If bryce young. Doesn't Play
andy dalton was not very good. Last Week but i'm
gonna Take green bay, both WAYS and i would be
Even If bryce young.

Speaker 3 (01:47:06):
WAS playing i will take. THE points.

Speaker 2 (01:47:09):
I will that's why you have the. Best record not
afraid to. Be alone But green bay wins.

Speaker 3 (01:47:15):
All right sunday, at one the six And two broncos
forced to travel to the three And Four. Houston texans
this game Is.

Speaker 2 (01:47:26):
On fox houston by one and. A. HALF houston.

Speaker 7 (01:47:31):
I FEEL like i have no Feel for houston this,
year WHATSOEVER.

Speaker 1 (01:47:37):
But i have seen Enough at denver to know that they're.

Speaker 7 (01:47:39):
PRETTY good i don't love them on, the Road but
i'm Gonna take denver with.

Speaker 2 (01:47:43):

Speaker 3 (01:47:50):
Pretty close So the denver injury.

Speaker 9 (01:47:53):
That we need, To, know yeah what's going?

Speaker 4 (01:47:54):
ON there I mean I think, patrick's TAN but i
don't think that's a that doesn't affect.

Speaker 3 (01:47:59):
The, line yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:48:01):
Let me look it up and just make SURE that
i didn't get.

Speaker 1 (01:48:03):
IT wrong i mean my arts was just one and
a half the, other way.

Speaker 9 (01:48:07):
So marginal.

Speaker 2 (01:48:10):

half According.

Speaker 2 (01:48:33):
To, DraftKings Okay the sharps. Know SOMETHING so i, AM
like i don't know if. The sharps fred might. Be right.

Speaker 4 (01:48:39):
He's dominating i'm going To take houston my one worry
in this game For the TEXANS because i Think the
texans are. PRETTY good i know they don't have a,
great RECORD but i think that they have a pretty
good team. In there my worry would be that pass
rush For the broncos against that, offensive line which. Periodically
STRUGGLES but i am a big BELIEVER.

Speaker 21 (01:49:02):
In.

Speaker 2 (01:49:02):
CJ stroud i think. He's Terrific and i'm gonna Take.

Speaker 3 (01:49:04):
The texans i'm gonna Take, the broncos even though they have.
To travel sunday, at one IT'S The Uh san francisco
Forty nine ers at five and three going up against
the two And Six New. York giants the game IS
On cbsbs.

Speaker 2 (01:49:22):
Niners by two and. A half.

Speaker 3 (01:49:26):
I don't.

Speaker 7 (01:49:26):
KNOW why i Think the giants last Week against philly
that was stupid in terms of. The points, BUT shoot
I just i gotta Go with San fran they got
too much.

Speaker 1 (01:49:36):
Offensive talent but it's the.

Speaker 6 (01:49:37):
Quarterback, SITUATION yeah i think IT'S still i don't know
who's playing For.

Speaker 2 (01:49:41):
The niners believe it's Still mock.

Speaker 9 (01:49:48):
No scataboo obviously that's a.

Speaker 3 (01:49:50):
Big loss that's a.

Speaker 1 (01:49:51):
Big loss No Scatom.

Speaker 9 (01:49:58):
San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (01:49:59):
FORTNIT okay.

Speaker 2 (01:50:04):
I Like the giants at home in.

Speaker 4 (01:50:06):
This game i'm gonna take them to, win outright mild
upset two and, a half, not HUGE but i Like
the giants.

Speaker 3 (01:50:12):
AT home i Agree, WITH paul i Think the giants win.

Speaker 6 (01:50:16):
THIS.

Speaker 3 (01:50:16):
Game uh sunday, at one it's the number one team
and everyone's Power Ranking indianapolis colts seven and one at
the four And three STEELERS a, Cbs game colts.

Speaker 22 (01:50:32):
By, THREE yeah i, don't, KNOW Man i i'm starting
to Dislike the, colts AGAIN and i mean that in a, good,
way like, you know they're like.

Speaker 1 (01:50:42):
That again, I'M sorry i don't Like good. COLTS teams
i see what, you DO but i.

Speaker 7 (01:50:49):
RESPECT it I just i Feel Like aaron rodgers is
going to continue to go down to the. Season progresses
I'll take Indianapolis and i'll lay.

Speaker 11 (01:50:56):
The points I'll take indie Maybe a. PITTSBURGH homecover i don't.

Speaker 4 (01:51:02):
Know, Why yeah i'm going To take indie, both ways
mostly because Of that steelers defense has just not been
good And the colts offense has been the best.

Speaker 2 (01:51:12):
In Football so i'm going to Take the colts on.

Speaker 4 (01:51:15):
THE road i do worry that at some point they're going,
to start, you know reading their press clippings and not
show up one of, these games like they shouldn't be
Going to pittsburgh overlooking a Team like Pittsburgh.

Speaker 2 (01:51:25):
And PITTSBURGH but i have that in the back of.

Speaker 4 (01:51:27):
MY mind i Actually Think aaron rodgers has vastly exceeded my,
expectations too just based ON what i saw.

Speaker 3 (01:51:33):
Last, YEAR still i think. That's, it yeah but he's,
still like, you know every play that doesn't happen is,
you know everybody. Else's fault but that's.

Speaker 2 (01:51:41):
What he did in.

Speaker 4 (01:51:41):
TWENTY ten, i know like that's not going.

Speaker 3 (01:51:43):
TO change.

Speaker 4 (01:51:44):
I know i think he's actually played BETTER than. I
expected he. PROBABLY right i thought he was going to
be a. Train wreck i'm still betting. On, it though
still betting.

Speaker 3 (01:51:51):
On it I'm Taking indianapolis sunday at one lot of one.
O'clock games it's the five and three charge at the
one In seven TITANS. On cbs now the.

Speaker 4 (01:52:03):
Big, spread Here the lack by eight and a half
on the road eight and.

Speaker 1 (01:52:07):
A half that's fun a.

i'm going to take.

Speaker 3 (01:56:14):
Both ways so there's something to know when the when
the bookies don't give you, a hook when they make
it a flat number, like that that means they don't
know what's going on and they're hoping. For, push okay
they're hoping for. A push that's.

Speaker 2 (01:56:31):
What's happening you add that to your Addendum.

Speaker 3 (01:56:33):
Of fred that's what's happening when it's when it's a,
flat number the houses are looking for. A push what's?

then i lose the night games all. The Time because
i'm picking differently than all of. You guys, Screw it I'm.

On cbs patriots by five and, a half four even. A,
HALF yeah i like.

Speaker 12 (01:58:14):
That's THE the.

Speaker 1 (01:58:18):
I know i could have sold Some.

Speaker 9 (01:58:19):
Shirts Patriots thirty. Atlanta, FOURTEEN.

Speaker 2 (01:58:30):
Yeah i Am.

Speaker 4 (01:58:31):
With mike matter, of fact he stole. My score twenty
seven to sixteen is my. FINAL score I think atlanta.
Has talent i'm not telling you that this is the
same as the Last Three, New, Orleans. Cleveland tennessee they're
a better team than, those teams but they don't always look,
that WAY and i don't think they can do. It
Consistently the patriots will make you play a consistent sixty

(01:58:51):
minute game to.

Speaker 2 (01:58:52):
BEAT them i don't Think the falcons can.

Speaker 3 (01:58:54):
Make sure you play two seven with your LOTTERY because
